I feel like this site could really benefit from this. A "@<username>" option that would notify a user that they were mentioned when used. Similar to tumblr or discord. This could be very useful for request and help threads, so they will know exactly when their piece is done, or if the artist/inquirer has extra questions or concerns. Or for general fun. Tagging friends in a discussion or forum game that they believe they'd have an answer or opinion for.

I'm not sure if this is possible on this website or not, but if it is, I'd love to see a tagging feature added! Or maybe like in Discord and such, the ability to @ certain groups of users like staff, admins, MOTS, etc. (though there might have to be some limitations on who would could tag staff and such). Either way, I think this is a really good idea, and one I'd like to see implemented in the future.

This idea has been suggested before and I agree that it will really benefit the forum.
