After a long 19 hours of travel from Michigan to Florida, I've unfortunately been looking to this being one of the first things I'd be doing upon arriving home. I'll be taking an early leave from the game than what was planned.
In truthfulness, I had been planning to resign from the staff team around the beginning of August, which would've given me the rest of my vacation with the staff. Sadly with how things panned out, my team and I were clearly booted. My departure from the game entirely was not supposed to happen, but from all the issues since the 1.17 patch, my dog's issues, and upcoming college, I've made this be my final decision.
In the process, to my team that remained from NMO to recently [PrettyReckless, Calvary, Wolffox, Panzram, Lucius, PocketMutt, Edolicious, and Scallywag], you guys were wonderful to work with and then with the older side of the full team. It was a pleasure to have that experience a second time. Thank you guys for the wonderful times when Ratel was still here. I appreciate it deeply, even if our new staff team fully came to an end not even a year later.
To the older side of the staff, community, and the new MITs, I'm definitely hoping to check back in someday to the game and see things change and improve. Lately has brought me to lose some faith, but surely it can be restored in the future. Good luck for the future, certainly you will all thrive well. It's been nice being part of the community alongside all of you. For now, I bid you well.
I may be spotted on the forum every couple days, and perhaps will continue some presets and mods I planned to release that are of course going to remain compatible with the game even as it updates with the code.
