So I don't know about you, but my character(s) sometimes acts different than I do on the Feral Heart forums.

Example: When I'm on the forum, I usually try to make an effort to use good punctuation and grammar, although I may be more flexible and more lenient in-game. I could consider myself a tad reserved, in real life situations, though I attempt to be friendly toward everyone. c:

In-game, I'm much shyer and I sometimes am afraid to even whisper a friend. Then, the forum me tries to be more professional and serious (SOMETIMES) but the in-game me is more random :3
I could probably think of a few more examples later, but that's all I can think of for now.

I don't spend a lot of my time on the forums, but I'll usually act (strangely enough) more professional in the game. You'll usually find me in a semi-lit to lit warrior cat rp. :)

I'm quite different, as you can see. In-game, I'm quite 'funny' and random, but here, on the forums, I'm trying to be as polite as possible, I'm trying to help people.

In game, I try to atleast make an effort to keep my grammar and punctuation correct but most of the time if its in my mind, its going on my keyboard even if its written like a 2 year old.
On the forums however, I have more time to think about what I'm going to say and take the time to proof read what I've written a few times before I post.

I would say I'm a bit different on the forums then I am in-game, but really not too much. What you see is pretty much what you get both ways (sort of). I shall explain~
On The Forums
I make an effort to have correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Especially when I'm speaking generally on the forums and not just privately (PMs). Most often I keep my sentences complete, and I follow basic grammatical rules. Additionally, I tend to naturally speak a bit more formally on the Forums. Although if I'm on a good friends thread I'll often litter it with purposeful errors.
(Example: "Hey! How are you? :3")
In-Game
I tend to be a lot more loose in game with my speaking. I tend to use slang and shortened words a lot more than I use on the Forums. However I still tend to naturally start my sentences with capital letters(which I know some dont in game). Although in-game I often don't speak in complete sentences or at the very least I sometimes don't add punctuation to the end(unless I say more then one sentence).
(Example: "Halloo! How is yew? :3")

Vespian tends to act the same on the forums as well as in the actual game. Although, there are some minor differences.
On the forums, me guesses ye can say I'm much more outspoken and prone to conversation while in the game, I'll hardly utter a word less addressed directly. Whether in-game or on the forums, I use my own collection of slang (that apparently makes I sound like a pirate?) and punctuation. There have even been some instances where I'll partake in tumblr speak, though scarcely.
Not much of a difference regardless. Vespian acts like Vespian through and through no matter what program or tab may be open.

As for myself, I've got to second what Vask already said.
When I'm drifting 'round the forum I prefer to type in a formal manner (excluding when I'm directly responding to a close friend of course, lol).
I like to come off, to other and newer members, as mature and helpful, and in doing so I like to use proper phrases and the like.
However.
Most of the time while in-game I'm an intentional moron. X3
This is just because when I'm in-game, I'm with good friends the majority of the time, and when I'm with friends all I do is joke around and ramble nonsense- with an exception of course, of when I'm speaking with a user I've never met; in said situation I swap back to my (usually) mature, friendly manners. C:

Well, I'm a bit different in game and on the forum.
Similarly to a few others before me, I'm much more formal on the forums, and more of a random goofball in game.
I guess in game, it's usually just me and a few friends, so I can just let out all my strangeness openly, but the forum seems more of a sophisticated place to me.

I think I am much more 'calm' on the forums while ingame I'm an entire explosion of random, I also tend to spell my words out better and use more common sense on the forums when writing my post. ingame I am also alot more shy, probably because its alot easier to post on the forums mentally, because your just leaving notes instead of directly speaking to someone.

Yes, I tend to act more professional than the games. And due to the fact I have no one to really Talk with, I'm just like an alien.

On forums, I try my best to make myself comfortable in the community. I always try to sound I know how to write and make sense. But on the games, I try to be fun and hang out the people who I know during throughout the forums. I just say my hellos and watch everyone else have fun besides me. Like I said, I'm a alien.

Quiet, a little random, calm, and just careful mostly. Since I have I no friends I just basically chill.

Calm, quiet, wandering around, being nosy sometimes, requesting arts, and that's it.

Yeah, what shall I say. I'm pretty much the same on forum as on the game.
Though, like many others said, I'm also a derp that has a lack of using capitals and punctuation when those moments strike being derped by a majority of randomness and friends. I consider myself kind of a hodgepodge in-game. People may know many sides o' me, I don't mind at all.

I act a bit different in game than I do on the forum.
For the most part, I'm far more active in game than I am on the forum, and of course my real personality differs from that of the main character I play in the game. I'm always out of character on the forum, since I don't really roleplay on here. I'll be viewing this question from when I'm out of character.~
On the game, I'm very vocal. I love striking up conversations and just having a good time with every player around me. The character I frequently play, Lament, comes off as a vivacious, flirtatious, and smugly hyper fellow. It certainly rubs off into my personality on there, often referring to others by pet names and having no boundaries when it comes to personal space. Though, it's all in good fun and I don't mean to offend anyone. Also, if you were to see my behavior in group, you'd probably think I was some immature and suggestive maniac. That, however, is just how I act around my good friends and main pack!
On the forum, I try to be a bit more professional, but come off just as friendly, since I see no benefits in being negative or shy. I certainly do tone myself down on here and I'm not as crazy as I am in game. ^^;

Ooh, verrry interesting topic! Reading through the other replies, I'm surprised at the amount of the people with responses similar to mine. In the game, my personality differs depending on what character I'm on and who I'm with. For instance, one minute I can be prowling grimly among the shadowy trees as my stern character Nepenthe, or I could be flopping through the sky dropping pumpkins on people as my winged monstrosity Fairy Godmodder (Nope, I am not exaggerating). However, here on the forums I am more shy and tentative, probably because I am around more people that I have come to respect, rather than standing among anonymous crowds of random people. Knowing that such people are likely reading what I post is both exhilarating and nerve-racking (great, now I sound like a fangirl). Well, if you wonder why I'm such an awkward derp on the forums, now you know.

As others have stated, I'm definitely more active in-game! With no friends who frequent the forums, I tend to only reply to discussion threads-- or topics I could potentially assist others with. Otherwise, my typing here's much, much more coherent than my in-game garble. If I'm honest, it looks like I'm typing with my face! I'm a notoriously slow typist, so I usually forgo caps, punctuation, everything while trying to keep up with an OOC discussion. Mercifully, my RP's a bit more legible, but my forum conduct is definitely more 'professional' than my in-game shenanigans. :D

Hmm...in all honesty I do not think I act differently in the game than I do on the forums. I still try to be my bubbly, and cheerful self.

I guess the only way I am a bit different is that I am a bit more cautious with people in the game than I am on the Forums. I feel I can trust a lot of the forum people than I can the people in the game for some reason. I am not completely sure why, but I guess I may have some trusts issues with others on the game.

In the game I tend to still be my fun and bubbly self, but when I see a person misbehaving somehow or being rude I tend to get a tad stern, and approach the people to be a problem fixer. Which at times gets me a tad in trouble. Though I will still try to help anyway I can no matter what. ^^

On the forums I am still my normal helpful self, but I never tend to be stern. I just stay happy, and loving. ^^

On the forum I'm kind of shy and boring and avoid replying to anything more than a few times, but in-game I'm kind of loud and stupid. I barely even bother using proper grammar in-game because all I ever do on it anymore is socialize with my friends.

Sorry if this topic is kind of old, I think this is interesting though...
Usually I just wonder about in my characters, avoiding talking in Local unless I feel safe about jumping in. I'm not so different from the forum, however, I tend to get a little more hyper-er around friends while in a Party with them. On the forum I get more serious, but then I just get all durpy and durp durp in other places. Again, not so different from in-game.
There's barely any difference. But maybe I'll notice one later, although so far I haven't as much.

well i guess, yes I do act different. And i COMPLETELY agree with Vask and Jackkdaw. I do try to be more helpful and mature on the forums so people find it easier to talk to me, but in game i'm kinda just... i dunno, it really depends on my mood xD

I guess me in game is pretty much the same as being on the forums. xD I'm open to whatever people ask me and I end up having a 2 hour conversation. Although there are a few things I do on the forum more than in-game: I'm more active here and observe more.
This is usually why I ask people to come in-game or email me so we could have a talk about anything, because I feel comfortable and so will the other user. :3

I am one in the same. But in game I tend to be more of a hermit, huddled away in m'realms, playing with other creatures and frolicking in the abyss of many maps when in game. Sometimes I do venture outward only to bring more back to my home "under a rock". Hueh.

I tend to be more open to conversation and discussion on the forum than I am in game. In game I like hanging around the large crowds to listen in on the craziness but I'm usually too busy moderating or too uninterested to really talk. I tend to like being "alone" in game xD Since interactions distract me from my moderation. I'm still friendly in game but prefer to devote my attentions to watching others.

I'm usually the same on the forums as I am in game, except I'm a little bit more formal with how I act and my choice of words. I always want to be grammatically correct in every sentence I type whether it's in game or on the forums. That's just how I am. I'm always willing to listen and help others, and do mind the typical snuggle in game from a stranger. Though if I get couched or trampled on by lots of ferals I don't know, I freak out xD.

Now that school has started back up, I've opened drawing and preset requests, I'm going to be a lot less active in-game then I am going to be in the forums I'll admit. Not my fault I'm quite dedicated to my work tbh, but hopefully when I have the time I'll be out and about again!

I'm a bit more open on the forums. In game, I'm pretty shy and honestly a bit scared to start conversations with people who I don't know too well. I'm also a bit more of a joker when I open up.

On the forums, I tend to talk on and on and on and on. As you can probably tell if you've ever seen my posts.
In the game, I really only talk to anyone if they talk to me first. I'm that person who does random awkward things on public maps... (I tend to hang around the Cape, jumping on top of rocks, attempting to get in the tree or "hiding" in the shrubbery.)
I'm also more outgoing on certain characters. Little Arnold talks on and on and I can't stop him. XD Most of the time I'm in my private maps, just chillin'.

Usually I try to strive with my grammar and spelling on the forum and game. However, I don't usually make an effort to push myself to others on the game because I'm not in the mood to whisper them an entire link.

On the game, I don't usually go crazy and start bugging people for my health. No, I would just curl into a ball and wait for someone to come towards, to talk with me. Or, I just leave my computer alone and leave my characters to chill. I can be on for hours, but it doesn't make my presence is there. XD

I tend be more active and speak my feelings throughout the forum. I can help someone to going to debate on something. You also can notice I like to request a lot of art. XD But I tend to be a difference.

I do think I act a bit different depending on if I'm in game or posting on the forum.
Like stated before, on the forum I am usually more mature. I talk a lot more. I'm not sure why, though. I didn't notice it until I read this thread. But when I'm in game, I actually don't talk that much unless I'm with friends. Then I become very silly and mess around and such.

In the fourms, I tend to use punctuation and make sure things are spelled correctly before I post something. I've just always felt like that sort of thing was important when every one is able to read your thoughts and views on things.
However in game, I say dash it all and am just casual and stupid. I couldn't care less about what my friends think of my spelling because when I'm talking to them, I shouldn't have to worry about that thing, all I should have to worry about it just being myself and being able to get my point across.
..well I don't worry about that sort of thing unless I'm rping, then I make sure I spell and use punctuation correctly. |D

I can be a bit silent in the game depending what I am doing, if I am on a OC or so I could be preset making, map making, doing site work, school work, whatever. But if I'm in my map for my RP I tend to be talking and roleplaying as much as possible, even though I can get pretty busy sometimes.
I try and help people as much as I can on the forum and in game, I know a bit about preset making, maps and such so I can always try and help in that category, and I can be quite friendly where ever I may be.

To be honest, I would have to say that I'm not much different I suppose between in-game and on the forums.
In-game, On some occasions , I do punctuate and all that fancy stuff and I wouldn't even realize it. I mostly just watch unless someone engages me into a conversation.
On the forums, I'm becoming slightly more active, even though I may not respond to every post out there, but I would read some of the new ones that come out.....I guess I'm fairly balanced between the two.
With that said, it will still stand the same for me when it comes to people saying 'Hi' to me or whatever I suppose, Lol. ~

On the forum, I am pretty chill since I am fond with the group of people who comments throughout the forum. I like to pitch in my thoughts and see where I can add my 2 cents, but otherwise I lurk more than anything
On the game, I like to lurk and hit the F3 button. I like to sit on spot and just wait for anyone to approach me. On that note, I am about the same and very excited to come across new folks who like a small chat. If I see a familiar face, a nice little snuggle will complete the day. Anyway, I am bit quiet, but don't like that fool you. I do love chats.

On forums I try to reply to literally everything lmao, but sometimes I'm just too tired.
In-game I sit on the Damn Hill (fluffs who met me know where it is xD) and - Ironic, we do same ;D - just F3 around the map. Usually I just whisper with some friends, or try to move everyone a little >:D

I would like to say I'm pretty much the same on both platforms, however I admit that I do try to stay more on the professional side when it comes to the forum since it's where people look for information and can read up on anything that happened here, be it in the distant past or in recent times. As for the game side of things, I try to be a little bit more fun-loving and goofy so people can hopefully feel more welcomed and comfortable while I'm around.

I act slightly differently in-game than on the forum because you can chat with people directly. I like to give newbies a good headstart on the game so they'll probably give the game a better chance and maybe even learn to love it like us veterans one day :p
So I can ask them if they wanna download a map and explore it with me, or I could share some great experiences I've had throughout the years to them, I can chat with them about anything, dance with them, or even make characters with them for fun :) That's also how I fill out the emptiness in-game when nothing's happening and when my friends are all offline.
On the forum I'm way more formal and I can speak out my mind better because I don't have to respond as if it were a chat, as if someone were waiting for me to reply, y'know? I can take all the time I need and think it all through, so I don't have feel the need to do those asterisks* to correct my words and sentences. :)
But what my forum and game behavior have in common is me being accommodating and sarcastic with my friends. Having intern jokes about the game, the forum or the people behind it. I also tend to write a lot despite my bad vocabulary.
(I use some specific adjectives and verbs sometimes, by the power of google translate LOL the more you know)

In-game I am more interested in enjoying playing with friends and helping other players whereas on the forum I tend to be more interested in contributing things that will help FH long-term.

I'd say I'm pretty much the same on both game and forum. However, on the forum I'm more all over the place, whereas in game I might stick to friend groups/RPs! I still try to help whenever I see someone say they need something in local, though! Often times I'll be RPing with friends even in The Grounds!

I am a creature of a few words, on the forum and in the game. I play around alone in the game, I prefer it, and I also love taking screenshots of my characters. I'm a huge introvert lol
