INFO:

If you couldn't already tell, I'm out of ideas. I thought I might as well grab everybody together
to compile a list of all the other species besides the two big baddies: the Lions and the Wolves.
(I'm still holding out for a rise in popularity of cows  ;)) There is a poll that's been around
awhile about the different species players use, but I'm unsure if there is a comprehensive list of them.
So this is my attempt at making one (with everyones' help, hopefully) !

If this topic has been done before, please let me know !

I'll first start out the list with the ones I remember or have used before but please go ahead and give me your suggestions !

*A little disclaimer*: When I say "underrepresented" I mean pretty much every species
other than lions & wolves. For example, I remember hyenas being very
popular when I first started playing but now I see less and less of them, if at all.
So I would consider this as a species to be put on the list
(although, they could all be gathered at a different map
but I haven't bothered to check. Feel free to let me know !)

Here are a few I can think of at the moment. The following are a few animals I don't see represented in game too often.

1. Bobcats
2. Geoffroy's Cat
3. Margays
4. Ocelots
5. Cheetahs
6. Jaguars
7. Dholes
8. Raccoon Dogs (Tanuki)

if cows have a sudden popularity spike, someone pls let me know i want to participate

Here's a few I've made but haven't seen around much:

-Deer (all types, pretty much.. they used to be pretty popular but I haven't seen any around in a while)

Birds generally just deserve more love in FH tbh..

thanks to my mind being on goshawks I wrote european eagle hawk instead of Eurasian eagle owl omg I'm so sorry

Also this is mainly for LovestruckWitch since u said ur allowing mythical creatures

Thank you, again ! I've added all except fairies since I consider them closer to humans and I'm just gonna be listing animals or animal-like mythical species. Also yeah, created species would have to be a list for another day !

I have 4 mongoose characters and 5 hyena characters of all 4 species. We most certainly need more mongoose & meerkats and all 4 species of hyenas, not just spotted or striped.

You should definitely add some of the saber-toothed cat species to this list! I have a love for these types of animals, and I can name most species off the top of my head.
Here's some I think you should consider adding:
Smilodon.
Homotherium.
Megantereon.
Xenosmilus.
Lokotunjailurus (how tf are people supposed to pronounce that??).
Dinofelis.
Metailurus.
And Machairodus.

What do you think? I heavily encourage anyone reading this who's thinking of making one of these to do their research. These guys are pretty badass, and I'd love for them to be well-represented.
