Procreate for Maps/Presets?

Has anyone here had any experience in using procreate on an iPad rather than GIMP to export map masks and presets?

I've used Procreate before, but never to make presets
It should be repetitively easy, the only issue I think you might come across is exporting the images to a computer/laptop to keep testing if the preset looks right, if you're impatient like me (':

Do you have experience using procreate with height masks? It keeps crashing on me, trying to set the image to grayscale but there's no way to do that on procreate?

I haven't, I've never even made a map before using a computer :c
Your best bet is probably doing it in colour within procreate and then setting it to greyscale using the edit feature in the photos app!
