but we can encourage him to do realistic wings he said no to them because the charecters look to realistic but why not make the wings match the character :)

If wings wear created in a realistic way and had realistic movements and textures. they could be good, also possible having a limit on how many character that would have wings.
Maybe some more interactive flight controls. Like having to press the space button to keep up in the air. like in spore (except not having a limited number of flaps) although a hover button would be nice so if we leave the computer we could still stay in the air.

Of course, it's totally up to Kovu and the creators, but surely I'd make a lot of use out of them.
Also, taking their idea of having the opportunity to pay for server-viewed presets... I'm not sure that I'm going to participate (if the idea is set into action) although I'd personally LOVE it if they did something similar but instead of allowing presets, payments would allow you to use wings. I'd find a way to sucker money out of my parents, should the FH staff ever decide to do such thing.
Oh, and if I'm correct, wouldn't wings take up less of the bandwidth (assuming we don't have anything like wing presets)?

Well see, i like wings and stuff but this is supposed to be a lion / canine mmorpg, and in RL they CANNOT fly. So, id havta say no.
Like i said, i love the wings, but having them to fly in an rp lion/wolf thing noez in IT i understand cause they we're fun with the items etc back then but now, no

I think wings would be cool, but some people dislike them. They can cause alot of problems- For example- If someone made a map where you have to climb to the very top, (remember that one from IT?) the people with wings could cheat and fly up there. It's just not fair. Things like that really ticked me off, because I think you should earn your way up to the top.
PLUS it's not very realistic. If this game had dragons in it, then maybe. But otherwise, no.

This game, like IT, is all about imagination, creativity, and roleplay. I don't see why anyone should be against wings. Kennedi, it's a game.. if you're talking about the map that you had to climb rocks all the way to the very top, well, it was hard! So what if people don't want to waste their time doing it and just fly up there? Those same people probably at least once did it the right way just to try it out.
So what if this is a canine/wolf RP game? Again.. it's creativity, and when you roleplay, you're roleplaying with people YOU WANT to roleplay with.. So other characters who have wings, so what? You don't have to roleplay with those people.
EDIT: ALSO Kennedi.. this game has Dragon ears, Kov clearly put them there to inspire people to use their imagination and creativity. Oh wait, this game also has COW ears!? WHO says this is a wolf/lion RP game!?!?
I'm all for having wings.

I hounestly don't care if we get wings. This is just what I THINK. I would apreciate wings so I could make them invisible on my presets though.

I actually have a character whose wings are very important to him, (because of a shape-shifting mutation blablabla) He might be the only character I have that needs wings but... he kind of does.

If they had a limit on wings, people would be making multiple accounts just for wings. Then people would be taking up more server space. I say no to wings-- I remember the ones in I.T. looked like folded up paper. And it was annoying when people would just fly everywhere instead of old fashion walking. I think we have enough things in Feral Heart. Don't you want the servers to come up sooner, instead of Kovu and Raz spending more time to add another thing to the game?

I guess I say yes to wings. Even though hardly any of my characters had them, I thought they did add additional creativity into the game, weither they folded up like paper or not. I am sure KovuLKD had learned something, maybe he could fix that.. folding-up-like-paper-ness?
And if you ask me, I was not at all bothered by people flying over my head to go to a certain somewhere back in Impressive Title. But I, personally, see wings not really as a tool-- but as an add-on to a character.
But, I dunno. We all have our opinions.

I say no, along with Tasha and Kennedi. I remember Shady saying that Kovu doesn't want wings because he wants the game to be more realistic to the anatomy of felines and canines.

yes Aroxy you are right if you have problems on climbing rocks it would be a great idea and why should ppl dislike them? and why dont they just let ppl fly up to a limit if they fly too high just make them get banned for breaking a rule this is a good idea anyway and also this game is also made for creativity thx for supporting Aroxy at least wing luvers are trying to get kovu get to at least try the wings AT LEAST TRY thx again aroxy :)

Hmmm.. I dunno about wings. Kov did say that there will be no wings because the models look too realistic for them. But, then again...
I loved the wing option in IT. Wings just gave you more creativity to your character. I say if there was a limit to winged characters and how high you're able to fly with them, wings would be okay.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVED wings. But.. I think that FH is better off without them. I do know that it is an MMORPG and wings just add more color to roleplay. Ugh, I dunno. xD I guess I'm saying no to wings. Kovu is right. The models are a bit too realistic for wings. I would love to see them added, but I don't think it's going to happen.
My votes on no... for now.

Wings do seem like a good idea, but honestly, I probably wouldn't even use them. I mean, really, lions/wolves with wings? Looks kind of silly to me. :p Especially when they look realistic. I wouldn't end up using them, that's for sure.

Eh. I had characters back on IT who had wings, but I honestly don't think wings would fit these models at all. Back on Impressive Title the meshes were more cartoon-ish. Which is totally cool and fit the wings. Well, this is FeralHeart and I don't think realistic canine or feline anatomy calls for wings. Don't go all blah blah imagination and well pink lions meh. Imagine you have wings. Yay~ If you want a pink cat. Whatever. Your anatomy is still realistic. c:

I'm pretty sure the ears were just put in there for vairety... variety, whatevs. Pplus the cow ears look really cool on a lion if you make them real small. .3.
Anyway, wings. Major nono, in my opinion. Well, sure, I loved the wings in IT but.. I mean, c'mon. Really? I hate to say it, but I don't really think wings fit in the the Feral Heart "atmosphere". So, you can count a big N-O on my behalf.

If you haven't noticed, the wolf models look like doodles out of a sketchbook. Oh, what's this? You can have a neon green-and-purple lion? You can have a wolf with glowy, black eyes? Yeah. Wings are definatelyyyy too realistic.
ALSO, to the people saying it'll cause the server to be down longer, you realize it could be added in an update, yeah?
Just had to throw that out there. But really, I see no need for wings, I really don't care xD I think if people want to use wings and have a flying character, let them <:T

As much as I like wings, and as many of my characters had wings, I still have to say no. Yes, Kov could make wings look very realistic (take a look at this picture for example (http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=+winged+lion#/d170ys7) ) and to fit the meshes, however it would involve A LOT of work. Meshing wings would be a lot more complicated then new ears or a new tail. Especially wings that fit the new models.
Another thing, Kov said himself that he doesn't want wings because he wanted people to find their own way around the environment, and around hills and such without wings. It makes the game a bit more challenging, and also funner to explore. I agree with him

EXACTLY, a realistic flight system (like in spore minus the flapping limit, so you'd have to MAINTAIN it) would be GREAT with realistic wings, and wing meshes are relatively easy to find and make, too. it'd be nice to have some realistic wings (meaning tucked against the sides, as well, not being constantly held up) absolutely amazing, and i've seen very few games pose wings like that (the only one, actually, being Istaria with it's Dragon wings) the results are beautiful, too. with the right animations, the wings could look amazing. however, please texture bat/dragon and feather wings on SEPARATE meshes, they do not function the same because wing bones on avian wings are far different than bat-like wings, that have individual fingers as to where on Avian wings it's a few bones and the flexibility is limited (not to mention, it'd be harder to fly with the lift from Avian wings because it wouldn't produce enough upward force to sustain flight on a wolf or lion unless the wings were big enough, which would affect balance and maneuverability as well as flight speed.)

I def agree to wings, I would miss that and it just gives that much more verity to the game and makes it that more cool. Of course it isn't realistic, but neither is a wolf with a mohawk, blue pelt, slit pupils and bright pink and green fur X3 Even if not usable, just for appearance maybe. Guess it's up to them, but it was pretty cool back in IT.

I'm completely up for these wings! Back then at IT I used to love wings. But all I liked to do is hover around and I would move to places with old fashioned walking. I mean I didn't mind the people hovering over me either. It just made me happy to see that Kovu's work on the wings paid off since people were actually using them. I don't really mind if they look like folded up paper... At least there were wings.

Oh, wings and I. Where do I stand?
On one hand, wings were a fun option on IT. They made for some interesting rps, and I had a fairy character that was just so fun to fly around C:
On the other, this is FH, not IT. Kov has said no wings, and I'm just accepting it. It does add just a slight, much needed challenge to the game and makes things a little more realistic. I never really liked rping flying lions and wolves. Fantasy was just not my thing. I always labeled my rps on IT as "semi realistic." Meaning, you could have crazy colors and whatnot, but no wings or powers.
So no wings is okay with me. Not that I'm against them. I really wouldn't care either way :U I love being a Switzerland in every controversial topic xD

I don't give a crap about having wings so that I can fly.
I want wings so that my characters who have wings don't look so naked. I have an original species that FH recreates nearly perfectly, except for the lack of wings.
If Kovu wanted FH to be so realistic, there wouldn't be so much unrealistic about it.
Forget functional wings. I just want them for decoration. Can't someone who is close to Kov suggest non-functioning wings that are just there for customization/looks? He can have his realistic "having to use your head to get around, explore, find things, etc." all he wants. I just want wings so my characters are complete, NOT so that I can fly around.
Besides, Kovu's logic has one serious flaw, because one of the camera angles allows you to basically leave your character's body and set the camera angle high enough so that you can explore everything aerially anyway. Moot point.
Sorry to be so blunt; I love Kovu's work, don't get me wrong. I just disagree with his logic on wings is all. If they're non-functional and just there to complete characters, then it doesn't hurt his views on exploration at all. It seems to me that adding non-functional wings would make for a compromise that could please the majority, Kovu included. You can appreciate and love someone's work and still disagree with him/her. That's what being mature is all about. I just wanted to make that clear.
Also: I don't accept the "realism" argument, and I won't unless it comes from Kovu's mouth directly. Even if it did, I would still argue; There's too much evidence of unrealistic things in FH for me to believe that argument. Arguing for "realistic creativity" doesn't work either, because realistic felines don't have dragon ears, and canines don't have goblin ears, no matter how creative you want to be. A large portion of the markings are unrealistic; you'd never see them in nature. I can't think of a single animal out there that has Skeleton markings, except for the Death's-Head Moth, but is FH a moth roleplaying game? Not without wings!
You can't have it both ways. You can't have some unrealistic things and then tell other people you don't want one unrealistic thing because it's unrealistic. If you just flat-out say "I don't want wings, even non-functioning ones" then I'll accept that based on the fact that it's your game. But I will not accept it based on an invalid argument.

Nar, I suppose I agree with you. However the issue with non-functional wings is that, then once we have them, everyone will be asking to be able to fly! And it will just be the same thing all over again.

I've been reading it, and here's my two cents:
FH is in no way, shape, or form too realistic for wings. The lions look like something straight out of TLK, and you can have dragon ears, a feather tail, and brightly colored sparkley tribal markings.
My personal opinion is that if Kovu wants to let us customize our characters, he shouldn't inhibit us. Maybe you can't fly with your wings, but having them will work just fine.
If Kovu wanted FH to be realistic, I think he should make a more realistic mesh, get rid of the eyebrows and such, and also get rid of the ability to have unrealistic colors/presets. Sure, a lot of people will cry and complain, but if he wants FH to be so REALISTIC, this is the route to take.
That's my opinion. Let us customize to the extreme, or make us just like everyone else.

Admittedly, I do see your point on this. But if it is made clear that the wings are for decoration only, and that the reason for that is to promote exploration, then how can people complain?

I hate wings, and I've never used them, but I think that they would be a nice customization for those who have winged characters, and quite a few do.

Here's an idea:
on maps, enable a 'flight mode' via checkbox, this will be unchecked by default, so if people want to fly, make a map and go fly around it.

Frankly, I'm all for wings. One my of characters is a winged wolf anyway, and flying is so much fun. I wouldn't even mind paying to enable wings on my account, as long as they didn't cost much.

I have to agree with everyone. Even non-functional wings would be awesome, and they have a point about the realistic customization. If Kov really wanted the game to be more realistic, we wouldn't have all the customization power we have. Yes, I suppose the meshes look improved, but that's really the only realistic feature...
Don't get me wrong. I love Kov's and the team's work on the game. They did a phenomenal job. But, I agree with everyone. This game is not too realistic for wings at all. I think we should be allowed to have them in-game. I highly doubt Kov will add them... but, we should be able to have non-functioning wings at least.

I will not be pushy about this, I admire everyone on the team, I'm thankful for their making this game for us at all.
But I never played IT. So I'm not sick and tired of winged lions, I'd like to see wings personally, and maybe limited flapping, To avoid climbing map cheats. I'm not for the game going down again just because of wings. If the staff says no, they say no.

I agree; I just want wings. I don't WANT to break the game; if it comes to 'fly or don't fly' you can sure as heck bet that I won't want to fly, befause wings SHOULD be aesthetically pleasing. Not for flying.

Again, suggesting 'flight mode' on mapmaker, as to allow/disallow flight. :l it's up to the person who makes the map then.

Never played IT... but i have my opinion concerning the wings.

Dont get me wrong... im really curious how it is to fly in this game (never played IT) but if Kovu doesnt want them in the game, then why cry for it? If he says so, so be it. I respect his opinion, after all he is the one who developed the game. Be happy guys, that the game is actually made and is up.
Im kind of surprised that ppl dont play but come and complain on the forum. Most ppl didnt even see all the maps but they want wings already... comon guys, the game just came out. enjoy it first, then when youre bored of it, thats when you come and ask for stuff.
Right now be content with what you have.
1. If you so want wings, then maybe make a preset, and draw wings on it. And there you are. you have a winged lion/wolf.
2. paying for wings: nah. Every game starts out for free, then they start adding extras for payment...it can go to the head quite quickly and soon the game wont be that enjoyable for the "free" players. Ive seen a game go down this way. Plus if i go on an awesome looking game, and that see that all the things that attracted me to it is for money... i quit.
3. chars with wings limited: nah. there would be ppl who would be faster and get the wings all the time. then there will be the ones who cant go on sooner and never can have wings. thats unfair in my opinion. Either all can have wings or none.

I'm a fan of this map idea.
Besides, I think it's possible to create interesting maps for flying characters too, such as an aerial course - a tunnel which is difficult to maneuver in, which goes upwards so one must fly to the top to see the beauty there - hidden portals which can't be found without exploring, wings or not - and fun details in the landscape which are admirable from above.
Wings or not people will still be annoying and make outrageous characters, anyways! XD

i'd kinda really like wings... when i found it, i was SOO happy to finally find a free game you could fly in, and i was really sad when, as it turns out, now you can't fly. Sure, the wings were kinda paper-ey, but at least you could take to the skies. and sure, it would be unrealistic and annoying in hard to get to the top maps, but i always had wings in IT, and it was even harder and more challenging to try to get to the top of ascension isle without using your wings, especially since you then couldn't double jump. but yeah... I looked at another thread talking about adding animals like eagles and dragons, I think that's a good idea- it keeps the (semi)realisticness but still gives people flight. even if an eagle or dragon mesh thing would be hard to create... i think... not sure, i fail epicly at that kind of stuff XD but yeah... that's just my say- yes to wings, but other animals who naturally fly is an option...

wow, nala, i REALLY understand.. okay? i do. i know you/and the the staff, are asked about this alot, but you REALLY don't have to be this sour about the whole idea. you REALLY didn't need to be so rude, either. i am just speaking my mind, don't get me wrong, you can classify me as a "trouble maker" but really, i'm not. i am just SAYING, that, this really sucks, sure, there's canines(everywhere) and more realistic textures/furs, etc. cool stuff, don't get me wrong, but the REALISM thing, that'll never happen. as i remember, it was started as RPing, lions, and fantasy things, this really isn't fair of you guys. the community is MUCH less friendly, as stated by others, as well. what HAPPENED? i heard all about the hackers/ etc. i really don't care. i was "raped" lots of times, "rp killed" and all sorts of other things. i am NOT saying i am innocent, either. neither do we REALLY need wings, and i emphasize this. i really do, but it would be nice. i don't really care either way.. i just wanted to make my voice on this whole thing heard. hopefully before i am banhammered. thankyou, and goodnight.

Maybe we are being rude and sour, because people simply won't accept the fact when we ARE being nice.
If you really want wings that badly then take it to Kov himself and see what he says, because us staff really don't have any say in it. It's Kov's game.
Oh, and he wants the game to be realistic to the extent of anatomy. Lions and wolves with wings is just farfetched in that area.

They (and Kov) say its already decided... no wings. And then all i see everywhere is new threads opened with the same "idea", the same things is with the dimensions.
Guys, accept it already.
No wings (draw a folded wing on your char if you need it so badly), and no dimensions (there are many maps after all and you can even make your own).
Dont press them please.

The point of the dragon ears is just to give you more customizational options with your character's face. If they weren't named 'dragon' ears then you wouldn't even bring that up. Dragons don't have any specific ears seeing as they're mythical creatures and everything. Just sayin'.

I did that cause I wanted to see how I could draw it on my character, lol. I don't want them in FH to be honest, makes the people who did maps for the game pretty useless. Think of the fun of being able to finally jump to the tallest mountain in the map.... and then some dummy just went "lol your slow" and flies up in 10 seconds.

Which I actually might agree with. I really don't like the idea of people flying all over the place, but I wouldn't mind having a character with wings that can't fly. You could even add new animations for spreading out your wings, or folding them in towards your body.. And I know Teal made a wing marking... But since you can only pick one marking per section, you'd have to give up your characters marks to have wings.

Guys, you want wings? Teal made a wing marking and I believe Rak sent it to Kov. (Or I read on dA.) They'll most likely be in the next patch-update-thing, so just be happy you may be getting a wing marking. Teal didn't have to make the wing marking. But maybe it'll cut down the complaints for wings... because Kov said no to "actual" wings. No threads about it are going to change his mind, same with every other concept he took out that we want back. It's his game. He can do what he wants with it.

If you really want wings, and you just cant cant live without them because your character just looks soooooooooo badass with wings, why dont you make a preset and MAKE some wings? There, problem solved.

I cant make any dumb presets i tried all the tutorials. None helped so the only thing i want are WINGS because i never was able to play impressive title and i really want to try the wings and i dont want them for decorations, i want to fly not just be ON Feral heart just being on the ground all day but just jumping around.

After using the wings on an IT scritped thing... you're not missing much :\. and for the wings to even LOOK good they would have to be HUGE to achieve lift off. It would probably take god knows HOW long to make a proper wing and add all the feathers. Proper wing animations would have to be made, tweeking the gravity and all... While I have no experiance in these things I know how hard it is to draw... let alone mesh and animate.... Just my two cents though.

Yes.. I agree with Wudiin. Unfortunately, the wings in IT weren't that great :/ Even if I had ever made a character that was supposed to have wings, I wouldn't have used them in IT lol :S
Although.. strangely enough, I am leaning towards the idea of wings that are just for decoration. And yes... people will ask for them to be functional, but.. People will probably /always/ ask for wings in the first place, no matter how many times you tell them no. They will always have an argument about it.
But I also understand that it's a lot of work. I'm not one of the kids who just thinks "It can't be that hard to add, durppp" I KNOW that it's hard... but if it might make some people happy? But I guess all in all, it is for the Admins and Kovu to ultimately decide.

Leaning more to decorative purposes for wings as well. But lets be serious people... :/ Wings are extremely hard to animate and get in-game, plus Kovu already said he didnt want them. He has his reasons and we have to accept them. He'll add wings if he wants to so i think all the threads begging for wings is a little much.
We'll see in time if Kov wants wings or not. Honestly, I used to not want wings, but now I really dont care if their added or not. Im just tired of people begging and pleading for wings to be added. We have to be patient is all. Kov will tell us himself if he has too.

I'm just going to pop in here and say that if some of you really want wings, you should make them yourself, or go play another game. It's Kovu's game and we're lucky that it's free with all the features like presets and map making. He can do as he pleases with his game. I personally think having wings in FH would be pretty neat, but we can't force Kovu into putting them in the game if he doesn't want to.
And uh many things FH aren't very realistic you guys. You usually don't see purple/blue/yellow canines and felines running around in the real world.

Never liked IT wings and never liked flying.
Totally not the right person in regards to this sort of subject.
If Kovu said "no wings" then we should just accept that. I don't think even decoration wings should be put in. Beggint won't do much to shift that opinion, as there will always be people who respect Kovu's decision or who were the kind to care less about wings.
Just play a game that can fly if you want wings to satiate the need. Just because people want it doesn't mean the game needs it. It just means they want it. :/
Personally I don't see the point in wings, really. If it's said that there's "no wings" then that's just about it, I feel.
You can bring a horse to water but you can't make it drink, nor can you come to compromise a prize fish to bite your hook.
Wings were just about IT's thing. I think we should spend our concerns and time thinking about coming up with an "FH thing" that is just as great as IT's wings, but are unique and original for the game. :/

I still say: lets respect Kovus decision....
He made the game, he decides what to put in, and what not.
and IF there would be wings.. i can already see godmodding and etc. expand tenfold!
There would be "god chars" and angels vs devils fights.... ppl with wings would want everyone else to accept that they are more powerful (as they have wings), thus making RPs kinda weird...
Plus im more of the realistic RP type... And i see more and more ppl making realistic groups, prides and packs... I rarely see anyone ingame cry for wings...

^I totally agree. I can see some major godmodders jumping for joy because they'd have another reason to be jerks. I already hate godmodders as it is. If I see the slightest godmodding, your a** is blocked. -_-
But since I refuse to go outside my private maps, this problem is avoided entirely.

For these reasons:
~Kovu doesnt want wings
~Less realistic, and i though FH was supposed to be realistic to an extent
~They do nothing but make your character go up and down.... You want to see whats up in the sky, use Spycam (f3)
~Character looks bad? oh well things happen.... like someone said before, just make a preset with the wing markings or make a new character
~You still go the same speed, so they are useless
~many may think they are cool at first, but after a while you see more and more there is no need for them. (I actually had wings when they first came out in IT, used them for a day, got old, and got rid of 'em)

Who cares if there's godmodders? BLOCK them. thats my only solution. sorry, but i don't think it will be the in the least realistic, unless you want to make a wolfquest feralheart hybrid :/ and i would HATE that. as much as many other players... i would say the same thing about the wolves, they get old. Flame me all you want, MOD's/admins/ who ever else feels like giving me a BITE. BTW, i flame back, beware.

-No. Just no. Even as a decor on your char; no (my eyes were dilated, so 'scuse my spelling).
The MODELS were supposed to be realistic (or at least the anatomy), not the game itself. You guys are lucky to even customize your char to different variations in terms of colors. It's already have been decided, so why keep bringing it up if it will still have the same response, no matter how reasonable it may seem.
Also, the forums are FLOODED with this type of idea, all with the same response of...NO. No offense, I respect your opinions and all but I like a challenge of climbing and jumping around a few areas, other than a player hovering around the map like a scavenger or hawk. Even walking around with unusable wings, there will be some that say, "I want wings too! I wanna fly!", "-but these wings don't-" and few seconds later, rants about wings and flying.

It would be great to have wings, as long as they looked realistic, and were just right for the size of the lions. IT wings looked a little on the long side (no-offense game-makers) And maybe haveing different kids of wings like:
? Angel wings- white and puffy (although you would probably be able to change the color on wings)
? Dragon wings- Large and without feathers
? Bat wings- Like dragon wings but very puny and a little hairy (lol I think bats have hairy wings)
? Bird wings- Feathery and smaller than angel wings.
? Fun-size wings- Very small wings that aren't connected to the body and just are for decorations but can still be used to fly.
? Large wings- Huge compared to the size of the lion.
? Pheonix wings- Longs and tend to drag on the ground, have a firey looking theme.
Thos are my wing Ideas and if you use these descriptions please give some credit to me. It would be nice.

I do miss the wings of IT, but most people say they weren't realistic enough for them.

It would be nice to have them though.. Problem is it will just take longer to make them for the game if they need lot of details and coloring..
I say yes and no to wings..
But items for your charrie on the creator thing will be great! You could pick an item you want on your felne or canine on the create a character thing!

OMG I WOULD LOOVE WINGS why kov? uknow if they wanted a realistic RP they could just take them off like IT maybe not items but wings i ask for it would be AWESOME to fly again i hear theyre doing it on arokai with the griffons and owls also my idea of having wings would be able to change the size of them like ur character itself is that too hard i wonder i dont wanna push the mods to the limit they are working hard enough as it is XD take it easy guys

Wings, at least proper ones, are hard to draw, let alone mesh and animate properly. The paper thin wings in IT were ugly to me, and if you all are expecting wings to match the models... oh lord @_@.
This is just my opinion though. And to me people can complain all they want If Kovu says no then it's no.

Where did tyki ever say they were biting people?! Don't assume that because they gave Karma to Wuddin it means they're also biting those they disagree with. It just means they agree with Wuddins post!

And whats so fun about it? For me it whould be a simple cheat to get onto high places, its fun to try get your character up there. And if i wanna go into the sky to get a view? Yay F3 mode!

I wont say no to the Wings but it doesnt matter to me if I have them or not. They would look and be realy nice, but also there will grop up godmoding as people sayd, and I simply dont agree to that, so Im on Neutral :3

Kovu already said no to wings, and threatening you will quit won't make him add wings. Feral Heart won't be shut down just because Kovu won't add wings.

I have decided to add something a little more constructive than my last post which I added so I could follow the thread
I found IT after it had been taken down and waited with the rest of you for FH
During those months I saw videos of it and the awesome stuff that came with it
When it came out and was like 'no wings' I thought it was a bummer but I don't know what I'm missing
So whilst I will vote for wings because the flying looked epic (as well as the double jump and fight actions)
I am happy with the game as flightless as it is =)
Plus I respect the servers power isn't that great and shouldn't be overloaded

I agree the community is horrible. But thats only in-game. In MY eyes, the forum is fine. Not everyone will agree and of course people will get butt hurt over stupid things like wings. Just because you want wings doesnt mean people will flame you. People will only disagree with you rudely if you try pushing your opinion on everyone. Saying stupid things like "Kovu put wings on the game or I will leave" wont get you squat. Im not saying your doing it, but its getting on my nerves that people are acting like such idiots over something so trivial like WINGS. I mean come on people! You want wings so bad you go mesh some and make your own game. I honestly want wings. But the way its going I hope Kovu DOESNT add them. Just because half the community is crying over them. Again Im not pointing fingers. Im just totally fed up with this wing crap.

Yeah :/ This is not IT, it will never BE IT and wings WILL NOT be added, no matther how hard you whine, cry and b*thc about it. Be happy with what you got, and if all you plan to do is whine and complain why are you even here? This is not YOUR game and I doubt Kovu is gonna budge on his choice because a few butthurt kids are throwing a fit. Seriously if you want wings go play Fly like a bird or Arokai when it comes out.
It's his game, respect kovu's choice or just leave. Come on people have some respect!

I have never played I.T. before and when I looked at a couple videos of it I really liked the fact that you can fly. But I think FH is just fine without the wings in-game and I have two dragon characters and they don't need wings even though they originally have them but it doesn't bother me one bit. Not all dragons have wings and they don't all fly. I agree that Kov wants the game to be more realistic so he didn't add any wings but then come to think of it you don't see green wolves with yellow mohawks or purple tigers with pink stripes running around co-existing with each other. That isn't realistic isn't it? Well its better to have a bit of fantasy in this game than to have an overload like with the wings in I.T. Also to all members who want the wings here this is a reminder that this is Kov's game not yours and he can do what ever he wants with it. Plus no silly petition will make him change his mind. The decision is final. No wings and that is all there is to it. Besides Arokai will be released in the near future and you can play as a few flying creatures(Dragons/wyverns, gryphons, and owls.) So theres a lot to look foward to later on and just enjoy FH for what it is now.

CORECTION: Kovu wanted realistic ANATOMY. As in he wanted the body meshes to look realistic.

tbh, a lot of my maps are impossible to navigate without wings. haha.

mine too i made this giant hollow log lake (try saying that really reaaaaallly fast and i need to make loads of steps so its really messy i also found IT after the game broke down so wings would be awesome but kovu doesnt like it
