Crystalpia is a map pack I'm creating that includes lots of new, custom meshes made by me! It includes a large magical city, tropical paradise, desolate ruins, and more!

CRYSTAL SHINE LANDS

Quote

Crystal Shine Lands is a region near the center of Crystalpia. It includes a large city filled with magical floating crystals and more! The inhabitants of the city has long ago disappeared, what could have happened here?

This is basically my very first map. Well, I did map few yearsss ago but this is the first time using custom meshes! There are still few more things to add, but I just want to share this to make sure everything is working right. Please let me know if anything is missing(like music, textures, etc..)!!

HOLLOWED HOLLOWS

A labyrinth beneath the city of Crystal Shine Lands. Nothing much is known, but something has happened here that caused the inhabitants of the city to disappear.

Just gonna warn you now, but this map is pretty creepy. Also don't get lost. ;)

XYRALA AND SHADOWED PATHWAYS

Xyrala used to be a large, lush forest with a prosperous city. However, a mysterious catastrophic event lead to the destruction of the region. Some say the same thing may happen to Crystal Shine Lands, but who knows?

THIS MAP IS STILL A BETA. Lots and looots of things will be added in future! Shadowed Pathways is a rather small cave that connected CSL to Xyrala, that map is really unfinished too. Think of these two maps as more of a preview. :P

ABOUT THE ROOMS
Rooms are separate maps that can be accessed from Crystal Shine Lands. Certain buildings will lead to a room. More will be added in the future.

SHADOWMOON GUILD
This is basically the same kind of guild you see in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, or in the anime FairyTail. This is an association of various members with different kinds of skills, and they work on requests. People can come by to leave a request, and a member or team will complete the request to earn their reward. As the city is empty now, the guild is no longer in business. If someone wants to start of RP of it, go ahead. ;)

ZIODYNE DETECTIVE AGENCY
Based off from a video game haha, if someone can guess it, have a free cookie. :D Anyways, this place used to be owned by Ziodyne. Ziodyne was investigating about the mysteries of Xyrala, and a "Crystal Cult". After realizing something, she immediately left Crystalpia. This place is no longer in business as well, but if someone wants to start of RP of it, go ahead!

HALL OF SWORDS
This place used to be a heavily guarded, sacred room. It holds the legendary Crystal Sword. This place is often used for religious practices of the inhabitants of CSL.

That's about it. More maps will be made as soon as possible! The download link is at the very top, if you haven't noticed yet ahahaa

Thanks so much everyone. :D The first map only took me about 3 weeks, it was faster than I thought omg.

Anyways, here's a little sneak peak on the next map; Hollowed Hollows

This will be a cave located beneath the city. As you can see in the minimap, it'll be a maze. Also pretty creepy.

I hope to get this one done this week~

Now with Hollowed Hollows, Shadowed Pathways, Xyrala, ShadowMoon Guild, Ziodyne Detective Agency, and Hall of Swords. :D

Shadowed Pathways and Xyrala is still unfinished, they're more of a preview.

May I ask where you got some of the meshes in this map? Such as the castle? I'm rather curious myself as a mapmaker, however, I'm not trying to steal your idea or anything. Just wondering if you used a site where you converted some of this stuff, etc, eh. :3

But, this is certainly quite an interesting map I must say. Quite unique and certainly got me downloading it especially, and more than anything would I love to explore soon! I congratulate you on making such an interesting and rather creative, possibly stunning even of a map. Even then I still remained surprised by such a thing existing in the world of FH! Haha!

I made all the meshes using Blender 2.6, then I converted them to a .mesh and .mat using an exporter.

Words cannot describe how amazed I am knowin' that somethin' this whimsical and detailed has been forged into a map unlike any I've seen before. I will definitely download this and stay tuned to any additional updates ye' may make. Yer very talented and it is greatly appreciated that ye've decided to share some of yer talent with the rest of the community.
