There Is No Good In Goodbye.

i am out of practice. forgive me.






why is saying goodbye so hard?
forgive me. i didn't want to leave you behind.
i know this is not the end.
but it's still so difficult.

i love you.
please don't be sad.
we will see each other again.
don't cry, i feel the same.
it hurts. our hearts can't stand being apart.

but,
we are still together.
i will never leave you.
i know things didn't work out, and i wish things were different.

i will come back to you.
i still wish
they would forgive you.
you broke their trust, but,
i know you're not the bad guy.

there is no right or wrong here.
everyone makes mistakes.
i just wish,
someday,
they'll trust you again.

it hurts, saying that word.
goodbye.
it makes it seem as if it's forever.
please.
this is not goodbye.
i know you trust me, and i trust you.

i love you,
and i will see you soon, dad.
wait for me and i'll wait for you.
