Default Item UVs
« on: March 16, 2020, 09:26:55 pm »
I was just wondering if anybody had the UVs for the trees, rocks, and mountains. I wanna make a mod but I need to know where the planes are.

You should find everything you need under
C:\FeralHeart\media\objects

UV's for default meshes aren't included in the base game files, not in mine anyways. Do you have them?

If by UVs you're referring to the texture files for the objects, the default ones are located where Birdie had said. Check in the group object folders, such as trees, structures, shrubs, etc.

Outside of that, I don't believe UVs are ever available for FH meshes.

theoretically, you could import them into blender and unwrap them yourself
but that would be... a lot of effort. still doable though!

The way i discover them, is by replacing their texture with a grid with numbers on it, and view it in the games object maker.
Easy enough to figure out from there.
The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?
"Because it was my favourite & I like it"

That's what I was thinking but I figured it might take a while so I'd try asking here first. Thank you, though
