I only ever downloaded the one available under downloads and have followed the instructions, yet it still says I need to download the latest patch. Any advice?

You'll need to download both the executable and the 1.17setup

I'm assuming since you installed the setup that means just open the directory and drag the executable into your main FH folder and hit replace. If thank link isn't working let me know! I'll go hunt down one that does.
