Countless nights I've stayed up lying in bed, staring at my ceiling and wondering when the day would come when Kiki would buy a new laptop. Alas, the day is finally upon us.
There are no words to describe how happy, yet saddened I am. Although this marks a new age in the coming of capabilities for Kiki and her new laptop, it also brings to close an era of memories. I am guilty of saying that yes, I will miss that little laptop fan running as hard as it could in the background of Staff Skype calls, like the little engine that could. I will also miss the countless exclamations and phrases from Kiki:
"Sorry guys, my laptop is being slow."
"I wish I could play that game with you all, but my laptop cannot load it"
"Skype isn't working for me, one sec."
"Can you hear me?"
However, I am filled with feelings of joy now that she will be bringing home a new laptop in just under a week. Kiki, my friend, colleague, and laptop slayer, Congratulations from the bottom of my heart.
