I should be able to do that

However, then you'd get a mail sent to the email adress you registered with. The mail would include a temporary password that you'd need to use, and once logged in you can change your password again.

The only thing I myself want to know is if you are able to access the mail you registered this account with

Which username you want, cause I can't give you a username someone already has used.

Alright, I will change your username in a min, then you should get a mail with a password so you can sign in again.

It seemed like it was ok to change it, so unless the site still has some problems it should work fine.
