Title: "Wilderness" (FIXED) [Public, with screenshots]

Here comes one more map, which is called "Wilderness". It is quite big, situated on some islands. Map includes various climbing objects, dens and objects for a better view. It is also linked with another map called "Den". There are also some effects added to make your visit better.

And one important NOTICE: animal meshes are not mine, they are published somewhere on this forum, sorry that I dont remember name of publisher, but BIG THANKS to you.  ;)

Previously there were problems that some objects couldnt be seen so I hope I successfully fixed it. And those who downloaded this map before reinstall, but first delete previous "Wilderness" map files from "exports".

I am glad that you like it. Sure you can use this map for your groups - it is free to everyone. About screenshots - I have no idea how to put them in post, but there is link to my Deviant, so you can see them there. ^^

It won't work for me... it says "Failed to connect to map server. Retry?"

If I choose "Yes", the game freezes.

Yes, I know. :( 2 of my characters have been stuck here for like 4 days. I guess here are some problems with FH servers and there is nothing that I can do about it. If problem does not solve in a couple of days I will ask staff to work it out, because I had similar problems before and servers worked fine after a day or two. I think that it is not working for everyone for a while, so you are not the only one. All my other maps are working, I do not know why this is not opening. Be patient, I also want to work it out as soon as possible.

I could not wait more and sent a message to MOD, so I hope I will get an advice soon. I heard from other players that their custom maps are also not working, and it is caused by the big amount of players on FH servers. I hope everything will be fine soon. ^^

Everything was fine before so thats why I am worried about it. And also no one can access this map now so it`s not connection fault, I guess. But we will see....

EDIT: Map works for me today. ^^ I think it was caused by the amount of players on FH servers. This may happen again in "rush hours" (afternoon and evening). At night it works fine. :D

Maybe the mapmakers could have a contest and see who's maps are best... You would probably get a chance to go in the competition...

I gotta say, that map is impressive in its own way!
I like how you made it like a flood-plain after rains with the individual islands to explore... btw, I found your hat :) And I like the creativity with adding animals.

Just two things though: The butterflies don't move... maybe its just for me, but they are standing still. And the platforms for going up the mnt are a bit too high, i kept falling in the middle till i found another way up through the mnt.

But nice work.. I just wish more people came onto these extra maps like yours and filled them up a little.. it would also relieve the load off of places like bonfire which always LAG :o

@Raphi - Thanks, it is very nice to hear someones opinion. These butterflies are not animated, that would probably make this map laggy. And yeah about platforms - I admit that they are a bit too high, but with a little practice you could manage to do that. It was tested before uploading, so it is possible to climb them, and I will try to make platforms better for my future maps. ^^ Happy playing!

i love your map its great but i went on fh 5 mins ago and there were mean people telling me to go away saying the map was private and i did say it was public (cause it is) to them they kept saying privet and go away and all i said was hi it upset me alot :(

Aw I`m so sorry to hear that. This map is public and I allow everyone to situate their groups here. Unfortunately I can`t control everyone who use this map. Probably they just got link some other way and haven`t read forum thread. The only solution I can suggest is to block them so you won`t see them and their chat. That would be good if I could block these kind of people from entering my maps, but as far as I know it is not possible.

Download bonfire mesh, i think there should be one on forums.

If you did everything correctly the map's portal should appear in Cape of Distant Worlds. Are you sure you put all the files in the exports folder? Read the help file added in archive, try again and it should work fine. If the problem still exists feel free to PM me or post here.

It is the original FeralHeart music 'ambient3.mp3' and 'ambient4.mp3' found in your FeralHeart\media\music folder.

And for screenshots, you just have to upload them on 'photobucket.com' or any other image sharing site, then when creating a thread click 'Insert image', now you have to get the IMG code of your desired screenshot from 'photobucket' by clicking 'Get link codes' on top of the image. And finally, copy that link between brackets that appeared when you clicked 'Insert image'.
