The Alps: releasing it to the public. Currently a 3 camped map based off of a random mountain range (can call it the Alps). With two rivers and various wildlife and scenery, it's a very beautiful map.. one the whole family can enjoy. So yeah, come have vacation in the Alps (family not required).
I greatly suggest turning off water reflection to improve performance on the map. I haven't experienced too much lag from it, nor heard many comments about lag. If it's too much to play on the map, then I'll consider a dumbed-down version of the map added to the download list.

Whoaow!. I love it. The way the mountain grows in the back ground, and the way you used the must normal meshes in such a normal and peaceful way.. I simple love it!>.<

Thank ya v.v yeah the waterfalls are a little new. They originally weren't working so I threw together a new one for the map.

i have tried several times but the map entrance doesnt show up in cape of distant worlds. help?

Only suggestion I can make is to delete it from your exports and try putting it in again, or trying the other download/redownloading it.

I absolutely love this map. I've been telling friends about it and hope to soon use it for roleplay. You did an AMAZING job. Thank you for making it public. It overshadows every other map I have.

The map is incredible. I especially enjoy "hunting" the wildlife that is spread around the map. It's great for Warrior roleplays. Great work! :)

I love this map, I want it sooooooo badly. I asked my grandmother (she owns the laptop) if I can download it and she says she doesn't know. she hasn't seen it yet but I am reallllyyyyy exited for her answer. I think it just makes everything 10x more realistic. the cabins, you can pretend that there are hunters in there and you need to kill them at the source and also the waterfall; it is just amazing. if anyone can tell me how to do that I will sooo happy.

My oak trees and pine trees dont look like the ones in the folder, I followed the grass instructuons and put everything in exports. I copied and replaced for all. what went wrong? but still, your map is perfect for a wolf rp +1 floof

Not everything goes into exports.. if that's what you mean. If all the fhm. and fho. files were put into exports then it should run fine, unless you replaced some default textures with new ones. As for the grass everything goes into my_objects inside of the object folder, and the grass.object goes into the main objects folder.

Ohh, yeah see what you mean. So, for those trees, since I wanted them to sit lower in the terrain and not be floating, I had to create a new object group ingame which I named Newish so that the next time people downloaded a map and ofc hit replace all it won't replace the fho. version I made for it. This means though, any custom materials you have for meshes may not appear, as my fho. and the group the trees are under is different than the default ones... if the way I explained it makes sense.

The scenery is just gorgeous! I'd definitely come back to take any screenshots in this map. <3 It IS a slight bit laggy (there is a lot of content so it's not surprising) but with water reflection off I had no more issues. Keep up with the good work friend!

I added my email to the thread. Meshes should be a problem though, as they haven't actually added anything to the game, and most fh objects I moved to other object groups so they wouldn't be tampered with in other updates. I'll look into it though and test it out myself.
