Deep in the pine woods of the north exists a small valley nestled in the foothills of the Sprucewood Mountains. Though the wind through the mountain pass is bitter and the nights frosty, travelers will find shelter in the old growth forest and beautiful vistas to fill their days. With a densite in the forest, several smaller shelters scattered around the landscape, and a secluded island, you're bound to find a place of your own. Come explore Sprucewood Ridge, and discover what awaits you in the north.

CAUTION: I tried to go easy on the custom meshes for lag purposes, but it's still a fairly big map and could be laggy for older computers. Credits to meshes used go to Cattails on dA for the logs and dens, miilkyprince on dA for the WoW mesh conversions, Elf for the grass, Leda for the rock retextures, and Balto for the terrains. This is the first map I've exported in a LONG TIME and I'm not sure I got all the right files in there, so consider this in a beta stage. Please please PLEASE let me know if any meshes or textures are missing, and I'll fix it.

This looks absolutely gorgeous !!! Love how simple it is; very nice usage of a limited amount of meshes.

Absolutely lovely! Any cold climate types of environments I love <3 So you got me with this one. I like the ground textures here, reminds me of a tundra. This would be a wonderful roleplay map for wolves, bobcats, or any other furry snowy critters <3 Great work and thanks for sharing it with us!

Wow, this map is so foresty and peaceful. I like it, it makes me want to picture beavers at the lakes, and wolves and deers at the shores.
