Title: another "unable to play 1.17".
Post by: Khalid on July 16, 2019, 01:54:26 am
so. im just gonna start off my saying my friend and i spent a couple hours installing and uninstalling fh, trying to fix whatever the problem was, adding markings and items (which take a long time when you're on a mac) just for it to say the program was unable to run due to a problem. im so pissed off right now i almost want to break something lol.

I agree this new patch has goofed up the game quite a bit. Markings, items and custom animations are things that have caused problems for my game, so I'd suggest removing those things, then give it a try.

The last time I heard, there wasn't a stable version of it for Mac, but I could totally be wrong.

Hello Khalid, there is not an official version for Mac yet, however if you download the released Windows version of 1.17 and run it through PlayonMac, you can possibly run it that way. Have you installed any other modifications besides items and markings?

i've tried both ways. everyones saying its partly the markings but i know thats not the case because it's not necessarily fh, its the program, wine, that wont even open the game. it says "a problem has occurred" and that i need to diagnose it. which doesn't help. just shows me all the codes for the script. and besides, yeah. i've tried it without all the mods.
