Is it a garage door opening? A hair drier blowing? Or a helicopter taking off? Or a race car revving it’s engine?

No one really knew with Kiki’s laptop...

After several months of watching Kiki’s laptop deteriorate and suffer from a slow and painful agonizing death the staff team is proud to announce that Kiki has FINALLY purchased a new laptop.

It’s been really rough sitting on Skype calls just listening to her laptop wheezing and gasping over our conversations in call. We begged her time and time again to put the poor thing out of its misery but Kiki refused and relentlessly pushed it on.

We don’t know what finally inspired Kiki to take compassion over the poor ailing laptop but we are glad she did.

We hope that the old laptop can finally retire and spend the rest of his days in peace. I’d like to take a moment to thank that laptop for all its service to Feral Heart and it’s community...

Even as it struggled with the physical hardships of old age and abuse it pushed on. May the new laptop continue to carry on the legacy of such fine dedicated service.

Congratulations to Kiki for mustering up the courage to do what should have been done long ago. We're proud of you, kiddo.

Countless nights I've stayed up lying in bed, staring at my ceiling and wondering when the day would come when Kiki would buy a new laptop. Alas, the day is finally upon us.

There are no words to describe how happy, yet saddened I am. Although this marks a new age in the coming of capabilities for Kiki and her new laptop, it also brings to close an era of memories. I am guilty of saying that yes, I will miss that little laptop fan running as hard as it could in the background of Staff Skype calls, like the little engine that could. I will also miss the countless exclamations and phrases from Kiki:

"Sorry guys, my laptop is being slow."
"I wish I could play that game with you all, but my laptop cannot load it"
"Skype isn't working for me, one sec."
"Can you hear me?"

However, I am filled with feelings of joy now that she will be bringing home a new laptop in just under a week. Kiki, my friend, colleague, and laptop slayer, Congratulations from the bottom of my heart.

Oh dear.

Well, congrats Kiki! Getting a new laptop is hard, I know. Been there done that. From the money, to the memories. Well done =)

I do miss our Skype calls, especially back in the day where I was screaming like a fangirl at Red - aaa. Let's have another one of those calls very soon! Perhaps I'll scream at Morgra next?
