Title: Forum code tricks
Post by: FlyingGrass on June 28, 2017, 04:42:49 pm
These are some tricks with code.

To reply to a post, click the word "Quote" located on the top-right corner of the post you want to reply to, then type your reply message right below the quote code.

Example:
Code: [Select]
(Other person's message here)
(Your reply here)

This brown line spanning the whole post is made using this code
Code: [Select]
Click-able words:
Code: [Select]
(Words here)

In this board (https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?board=140.0) you'll find lots of tutorials, extra colors and extra fonts!

You can highlight words and then apply effects like font and color, it's very useful for when you want to add color to anything you've already typed, it's also useful for rainbow text

Is this:
Code: [Select]
This is an example of colored words in the middle of colored words.

Spoilers:
Code: [Select]
(Text)
That code creates this:

That's everything I know now that I didn't learn right away. This was in a PM I wrote, I copied and pasted it from there, I made edits to this tutorial as I have sent the PM after copying it and can't edit PMs.
I excluded images because that's easy to learn when you make an account on Imgur.
