TOJI FOREST

Hello there, I don't often share my personal projects on the forum but I thought I should do it for once.

I made this map with a little lore in mind that this forest was once inhabited by monks who settled the site as a sacred place where they can do religious ceremonies in peace, far away from the troubles of the world. The place had a good run, for a good few years it was a major hub for prominent monks to gather. But soon after, the site was abandoned for unknown reasons (lol), allowing mother nature to retake the site. Now beasts alike call the forest their home after they took a liking to its serene environment and mysterious past.

A medium-sized den located near one of the massive trees.

A river that flows across the map, decorated with rocks, ruined statues and pillars along the riverbank.

A forest clearing located next to the river, decorated with etched tablets. This was where the monks would gather and meditate.

So far that is all i can show you, the map is still one big WIP. I hope to make this map public one day.

When it goes public I’d love to explore it. So far it’s coming together really beautifully <3 Great use of the meshes to make the forest look so lush. I love the thickets around the pond, makes it feel nice and secluded.
