Eh, I've pretty much guessed what they put into their food at McDonald's. KFC is no better, feeding the chicken things that mutates their body's into horrible shapes, like so that they would grow bigger or have a part of their body deformed.
I've never liked their food, I suppose I have a more defined pallet.

Yes its digusting, what people do for money. The only thing i ever eat are the chips at fast food place but i guess those arent any better, full of oil and bleh. Still, it tastes good. I dont go to McDonalds of KFC much anyway so its like a special treat for me.

Heh. When my family is travelling and we need to eat quickly, we try avoid any fast food services and normally drop by a Co-op and see what we could do. c:
I found this game about KFC Mario Style, you need to kill the KFC workers and save all the chickens.

That's disgusting. Most of the time when traveling my family likes to take a quick stop to eat at McDonald's. I have always refused to eat their meat, for I will always say; "It's fake meat." Yet they always think it silly of me...... I will be showing this to my parents to prove that it is fake, and I shall stick to my salads I get there all the time.
Thank you for pointing this out, people must know the truth to this horrible meal.

Really, I don't understand why people need images like this to realise the dang meat is processed. Just open your stinking chicken and look at it and you can see it is processed. The taste and texture proves that is processed. If anyone is surprised by this I will be shocked. I mean, come one. Go graba real chicken and then go grab your nuggets, and just look at the meat inside the both of them. It is as cleaar as day that the meat in chicken stuff at Mcdonalds is processed and terrible. Even potato scollops, you can tell when those are processed, you can tell when almost ANYTHINg is processed, and teh fact that people still feign ignorance gets to me. Anything processed CAN NOT be that good for you if they had to mash it up and mis it up when they could have just put the full product in.

...

.......

Doesn't stop me eating some processed stuff though... I'm a food addict XDDDD I just prefer proper chicken, because of the bad things associated with chicken XD

Are you sure about that, Throat? Most of these chickens would be battery hens, so they would of had a terrible life. Zarago owns some chickens and I love them to piecies, I wouldn't respect anyone if they treated their hens like that.

Here is my opinion...

I work at KFC. *Eyes some posts above and giggles a lot*

KFC is one shady business.... Ever hear of the double down? It's a "sandwich" made between two chicken breast patties (Not processed), two pieces of jalapeno cheddar(or something like that...it's nummy)(processed), a special sauce, and bacon. A heart attack essentially. Absolutely disgusting. I sold HUNDREDS of them when we had it at our store.

Popcorn chicken? Yup, processed thigh meat. I've found bone in them. They are mostly filler in the breading anyways though.

The original recipe sandwich. Made with two white meat chicken strips (Not processed). Still weird.

The gravy is mostly corn

the breading is mostly corn

HOWEVER: There are absolutely no hormones in the chickens, and most of it isn't processed.

But I assure, processed meat isn't the scary bit when it comes to fast food.... it's the corn filler.

Read some ingredient lists sometime...almost EVERYTHING has some for of corn in it.

Hands off! Nu, nu, joke. My birds are bred for exhibition (basically how beautiful they look) and not for the table.

I oppose processed foods and do not eat them (mainly because of the stomach aches I get). I do adore chickens, and I have knowledge of the sorts of conditions the birds for the fast food industry have to live in.

It's not a life, that's for sure.

Yeah....fast food is NOT good for you at all. And the food keeps getting bigger. More fillers, less filling. A sure way to kill yourself.

Mm, it's a shame indeed. More and more people are heading over to these fatty 'restaurants' to pick up something and then gulp it down in front of their television at home. Learn to cook, peoples.

My family only really eat fast food when we need to. But normally if we are short on time we just grab a bbq'd chicken from the shops and a pasta bake to throw in the oven and dinners ready XDDDD

I got chickens too as loved pets but chicken does taste good unfortunatly. When i was younger i loved cows, chickens, sheep and all those other animals people use as food. I loved them so much i went vegetarian. Temptation got the better of me though and many years later i went back to eating meat again. Eh enough with my life story.

We usually go out to dinner at a restraunt or get take away from fast food places when we have moved houses or something. I rarely get fast food.

They sell those "healthy" chicken burgers at McDonalds those i dont believe are processed. Not all chicken products are processed i know that, but it IS good to know which are. I once ate a chicken burger at KFC's, it tasted good but bleh its not the most hygenic place. My friends dad found a toenail in his drink.

I work at McDonald's, this is part of what the nuggets are made of but they are also 70% corn.

Other random facts I learned while working there:

-The Fillet-o-Fish is bleached Alaskan white cod
-The Bacon Ranch salad with crispy chicken has more fat than a Big Mac
-Milk is listed as one of the ingredients for the french fries

There's others but I cant think of them at the moment.

Thank you for that piece of gross information. Who knew? Milk in fries? Yuck!

The ice creams have pig fat in them dont they?

the McDonald's stores themselves are not something to be afraid of (well, some of them), it's the meat plants. I've worked both McDonald's and KFC and McD's is MUCH cleaner.

The KFC I work at will serve chicken, I kid you not, that is days expired. Since I began there our record is SIX DAY EXPIRED chicken, cooked and sold. This stuff smelled awful, but still we are required to bread it and cook it. I see so many people walk out, and I don't blame them. It's awful. My boss makes us serve expired milk and play ignorant if it comes back. The ignore customer complaints, and will even yell back at the customer. They use shady business techniques to make more money, ( Say someone orders a burger, fries and a drink. This can be made into a cheaper combo, but they will charge them for all three because they didn't ask), and blames the staff for low sales. I would have quit long ago if I was able to find another job... It's a tough economy out here. I have a million horror stories about fast food. I live one.

I heard that scientists tested McDonalds's chicken nuggets because this girl collapsed because she eat them all the time and they found butane in them.  I just heard a little bit about it because my mama was talking and I had a big plate of shrimp in front of me.  2 #1 reasons not to listen XD.  But anyways, butane gas was found in chicken nuggets!  And yea, I knew they crushed the chicken, eyes and all.

Yeah I'm pretty sure, especially since I've been eating the stuff for years now. This isn't the first time I've seen this image though.  It (and other images more graphic than this one) is usually accompanied by some sob story that expresses the dire need for people to go vegan, vegetarian or give up factory produced meat.

I'm not interested in either of the three options. My sympathy for the chickens that are being killed and ground up for me to eat isn't high enough to warrant a change of that magnitude.

Yep, thats the game I was talking about, sorry I couldn't provide a link. c:

Throat, you don't have to become a vegetarian. Its not rocket science to stay away from cheap chicken food.

Do you know what they do to their hens? They will buy bird meet from factorys and the hens to go will be the ones that don't lay enough eggs, so basiclly the way it goes is, lay enough eggs and you will survive.
When you look at birds in factory's like Battery hens, their combs should be red, instead they are very pale.

Thats because they have never seen real sunlight, only artificial light. They've probably never even seen the outdoors before. Now I understand the way you feel, I would of at first. Not until my sister perchased 3 Buff Orpingtons, you can really bond with them.

Don't we all. =P

On Countryfile there was a bit about Battery hens and the lack of space. There is a law enforcement of giving hens more space when they are in the factory. The majority of people have in England, but other countries need to follow.

I remember in the car my father said: 'Lets eat at McDonalds!' Then all four of my sisters shouted: NO!

This is vey similair to my chickens past life.

They were in a small cage shared with lots of other young dying chickens. My dad bought two for Christmas basically saving them from a cruel life and slow death. They were small and had pale combs too. We gave them food and they ate every bit of it. They also had a bit of the flu, they sneezed alot and had runny noses. Anyway their a lot more healthy now running around in green grass and chasing the pigeons away form their food. Their scared of our no longer stray kitten who also was dying before we came along.

My dad buys take away chicken with rice and stuff for dinner sometimes. Though its not processed it could have been our chickens in that cage. I dont eat that take away chicken anymore, im starting to feel sick of it.

I never said it wasn't difficult to stay away from factory-farmed meat, it's just that I'm not interested in changing my eating habits at this time. I never said becoming a vegetarian was my only option; I just listed that to present an example of some of the things individuals who are against factory-farming offer as "alternatives".

In my old school I was in agriculture, and we had tonnes of chickens, because people kept throwing them over the fence. We also raised chickens specifically for being eaten, but they were extremely well looked after, got to run around the ag farm and everything, but when they were old enough, they would dissappear and the school would sell the chicken meat to help fund the ag farm. We also raised cows, and would take them to shows in which the first day was judging on appearance and everything, afterwards everyone would go home and leave the cows behind because the second round judged their meat, so the cows were slaughtered. The meat from that was also sold to help fund the ag farm.

I felt I had to say that for some odd reason....

Lol, I had ag. science just last semester.  We went and judged livestock also, but we never raised chickens.

But I've been told about the chicken parts ever since 2 or so years ago.  It did stop me from eating it, but only for a little while.  I said.  "It's good and I'm hungry"  So I ate it.  I also found out that sausage is ground up pig parts and put in an innard lining.  Yea, if you think about it, it's gross, but it's good.  So I eat it.

We had ag which was one of my favourite subjects though working in the garden aint all that fun. I joined rural youth and participated after school. We had dairy cows and steers that were bred for shows, but also for food products. We had so much land at that school and heaps of animals. Working in the milking shed in the morning and evening was very enjoyable for me. Life as a boarder was fun.

I just remembered a joke my ag teacher told my class.

Jack (A student) : What happened to the ram?
Teacher: Ehhhh. I think hes somewhere in kebab land right now

Just about everyone laughs, poor ram. At least he had a happy/healthy life until then.
