Title: Who here plays The Endless Forest?

I'm pretty sure there are quite a few of you out there who play TEF as well as FH. If you play TEF, come and talk about it! If you don't, but you're curious, come talk about it! I'd love to hear from you guys. ;D

Post by: Raz. on August 16, 2012, 02:19:46 am: I used to play a few years ago, but stopped due to the community and drama. Pretty much, even with warning, people ended up hating me for one of my deer who had a temper. I used to be Raz on the community site and first started back in 2008.

I doubt anyone who plays now would recognise me or my deer if I went in XD although I don't plan to play again any time soon.

You get used to the creepy faces after a while, and it's even gotten to the point where they have started to grow on me lol!

But what a lot of players do is that they get masks for their in-game characters. Mine wears a long red-and-white tribal-looking one. And there are also masks you can get that look like natural deer-faces, which is close enough, I guess.

Personally I always liked the lack of chat |D >_> no noob and troll spammings.

You can't really 'tag' players in-game, but if you log onto the community forum website, you can 'track' other players (look at their blogs, roleplay, comment on their artwork, etc.) Your fawn becomes an adult about a month (real time) after you registered.

When I first got it I couldn't get enough, then I found feral heart. It sucks that there is no chat but it would take something special away if it had one.

Thank you Abomine! This helps out a lot. I probably should of thought of the forum in the first place but I kinda just tip-toed around it. But a month!? Oh my golly! I don't think I can wait that long haha.

I once was sleeping in a mushroom circle next to a beautiful adult with massive red moose antlers. Then it suddenly got up and gave me goat horns. I was so grateful (It was the first item I had gotten) and I bowed down, saying "thank you". It nodded its head and bowed down. Then, it looked at three fawns prancing around. One had a giant weird red mask. I went over to them and started playing with them. That fawn gave me the mask. I soon figured out that we were playing tag. XP
The adult was watching me the whole time, like my moma.

I miss that deer. :)

There are a lot of really nice people in TEF. Of course, you get a few of the stuck-up hipster type (especially on the forums), but most of them are really cool.

I love those random acts of kindness in-game, where a random adult deer gives you a set of antlers or a new pelt. :3

You can not eat or drink at the altar the last button with the head down and hooves click that. I hope that answers your question

Post by: Sayba on December 27, 2012, 07:43:01 pm: You can rub against a certain tree, then a pine cone or something will fall and you can eat that. There is a watering hole you can drink from but I can't remember where it is.... It might be a fountain. The action to eat or drink will pop up as a button whenever you can do it. Eating the pine cones give you the power to give people masks I think. Can't remember if water does that but it most likely does.

Praying~ Walk up to the white statues and the action will come up, you do that for a while and you turn into a white stag with the power to turn other people into a white stag/fawn.

Like three stags walked up, became white, and then about ten of us fawns started playing near them and then we joined them. Then we all took a nap in a mushroom circle, and I turned this fawn that kept bullying me into a crow XD. I kept rearing and he just squaeked about around me 'till I had to log off.

All I could do was wander around in the beautiful map. I'm afraid I got quite too bored of the game to re-download it on my brother's laptop. (Shh, don't tell him I'm downloading crap XD).
