"Life can be hard. When you're like me, it only gets harder. But, that doesn't mean I won't stand my ground. Get in my way, and I'll shred you with the infected ones."

Name:
Abyss

Gender:
Female

Accompanied by:
A ghostly image of her previous alpha who... has something wrong, and tends to go insane.

Personality:
Quiet, curious, but is a very skilled fighter, and, she takes no nonsense.

Description:
A solid black wolf with a black mane that covers one eye, and a body covered in scars. Her eyes are a bright, searing yellow. She stands at about 4 1/2 feet, from head to ground.

Bio:
Most of her life, she had been told that a black wolf is nothing but bad luck to a pack. Therefore, she left to seek her own destiny, which is unwritten. She is adopted into another pack, after the news of her old one being destroyed by an unknown force. Once the disease hit her pack, she was the only survivor... the alpha had asked her to put him down before it spread to anyone else. After that, the other survivors in her pack began dropping like flies, and she found herself alone, without anyone to turn to, but spirits.

Theme Song:
"Shatter Me" by Lindsey Stirling ft Lzzy Hale

"I'm still a dreamer, a believer."

Name: Nekoda

Gender: Male

Accompanied by: No one

Personality: Nekoda, overall, is a bit skittish. He is more of a happy-go-lucky type, who always looks on the bright side. He is still very young, and has lots of maturing to do, both in hunting and in general survival skills. Even though his world is crumbling around him, Nekoda is always positive, though can be quite fearful. When it comes to physical altercations, he is more of a lover, not a fighter- however, when it comes to standing up for himself, others, or what he believes in, he stands firm and will not back down- sometimes... Though he will attempt to defend another, he's a bit of a sissy, and often lets his nerves get the best of him. He's extremely friendly, humorous, and outgoing- always letting his optimistic personality lighten the mood.

Description/Picture: Nekoda is a pretty scrawny youngster, natural for his age.

Bio: Nekoda is only 1 years of age- so he does not have much life experience. He was born to a small, new pack. From birth, he and his two siblings began to learn the ways of life- and as the weeks turned into months, he was taught the basics of hunting small prey. A few weeks after being weaned off his mother, the plague struck. Fortunately for him, he did not witness any of the horrid massecre that took place among his small family- as he was taken away by his mother, who fled into the forest and later died of her wounds. It has only been about a month since Nekoda was left on his own, and he still has yet to see any of the plague going on around him- he's completely oblivious of it.

Theme Song: Christie Road (Green Day)

I will add a new, more hardcore character soon, gotta go somewhere soon. X3

Niya&Desia

Name; Niya
"I'm not a fighter, I'm not the one.."
Gender: Female
Accompanied by: Her sister, Desia
Personality: A bubbly, quirky wolfess, Niya tends to look for the good in any situation. Lacking strength and training, Niya prefers agility and speed. A kind soul and a sweet charmer, Niya is quick to defend though she is unable to back her words up.
Description/Picture: The wolf on the left
Bio:  Born the younger of the two siblings, Niya found shelter with Desia. Friends and sisters, Niya hid in her sister's shadow, finding comfort in it. She lacked strength and courage, leaving her the weakling of the pack. As they grew, and the virus spread, they survived with Niya's strong intellect and Desia's strength.
Theme Song: Roar- Katy Perry

Name; Desia
"I freaking dare you."
Gender; Female
Accompanied by; Her sister, Niya
Personality; A stubborn, sarcastic female, Desia is very protective of her sister. She is the nonlover of the two, finding no comfort in hoping for a mate, as Niya dreams of beginning a pack of her own.
Description; Wolf on Right
Bio; Born the older and stonger of the two, Desia was trained in fighting from day one. She grew protecting her sister, and continues to.
Theme Song; O' Death- unknown

"How about while you take a nap, I'll defend the entire world?"

Name: Kaz
Gender: Female
Accompanied by: She sometimes takes on the partner of a raven, but it doesn't matter what raven. This is because like working pairs, wolves and ravens help each other find food.
Personality: Kaz is a tough, never-back-down type. She doesn't like to lose and when she does she'll moan for days about it; in short, she's a sore loser and a proud winner. She does, however, lose occasionally because she takes on fights she most definitely cannot win, even if she sees that. Not very wise.
Description/Picture: Kaz is a strong, buff-looking wolf. However, that is just body type. She is quite tall compared to most and she has large paws that are good for treading great distances. She has a tear in her right ear and wears a faded, dark green bandanna around her neck.
Bio: Kaz was born into battle. She's about ten and a half (dead at 13, normal wild wolf age); however like said, she's big for her old age, and quite strong as well. Having a mother dead only a few days after she weaned, she learned to survive on her own. When the infection struck, she wasn't very old. She taught herself how to fight off the infected. As she got older, she got less bold but still will never back down.
Theme Song: do i really need one

"I swear to you, I'll never back down when my kin are at stake."

Thunder
Gender: Male

Accompanied by: Sir Darknite, Former Alpha of his clan.
Darknite Appearance
(http://s1.hubimg.com/u/4830040_f520.jpg)

Personality: He acts very noble and prideful. He will never back down from a challenge, even if its not the most wisest course of action. The wolf has always had an independent nature and a love for hunting and fighting. Though he won't make the final blow unless its absolutely necessary.

Description/Picture: Thunder only has three legs. His other left back leg was severed viciously from the rest of his body near knee point in a fight with another pack. A scar lays on his right eye that vaguely represents an arrow and his pelt is quite tattered and unkempt.

Bio: WIP

@Spottedbears You don't have to have one. :/ but, it gives me something to add to my playlist on YouTube while I RP. XD Based on your character's personality, I can see that her theme song can either be "Stand My Ground" by Within Temptation, or something along those lines. :3))

OOC: okay! thank you, actually that's quite a nice song c:

- Kaz -

As she huddled close to the tree, the mostly tan wolf stretched out, leaning on the thin bark. It was a nice birch tree, with dark brown and blackish spots pushing away the glare of the white. The sky was a muggy blue and it was quite hot out. Letting her tongue loll out, quick short pants escaping from her mouth, Kaz looked up and spotted a cluster of ravens about forty stretches away. Ears now pricked, she got to her paws and scrambled down a stretch of open grass, into a valley.

Once she made it over there, the oldish grey wolf noticed a pile of elk scat. Her jowls curled up in disgust. Stepping past it, she glanced up. It was a really big elk with plenty of meat on it. She realized, there must've been a wolf around here somewhere that had killed the elk. Talking in a deep breath through the nose, she could only smell a the dead elk. Trotting through the birch forest to the elk, it hadn't even been ripped into, and she spotted an abundance of grey hairs on its snout. "Oh, so it died of old age? Perfect, then," she thought out loud. With no regards for what might be around her trying to eat the cervid as well, --besides the ravens-- she ripped into the carcass. The birds fluttered down beside her, and she growled at them. However, seeing as they had found it first, she would let them have the elk once she was done.

"Everyone says that you can die. Then why haven't I?"

Name
Sennin

Gender
Female

Accompanied by
Her memories

Personality
Sennin can best be described, to an outsider, as cold hearted, uncaring, and serious. Not many bother to talk to her, in fear that she'll just 'emo her way out of the conversation'. Sennin enjoys talking, which is why some also call her crazy since she talks to herself a lot. Though, the real reason for her behavior is her over-whelming fear of death. After seeing so many die before her, it has gotten to her head, and death is now a concept that her mind takes more seriously then most would.

Description/Picture
Picture at top.

Bio
Sennin was born in a normal pack, in a normal forest, with a normal life. Though, you can't really call a cream-colored daredevil 'normal' When Sennin was young, she was the most daring wolf in the pack, always accepting any bet that came her way. She enjoyed life, taking everything calmly and relaxed. Until the plague hit. When her entire pack fell to the ground, she finally realized that death was a real, true thing. Running away from the scene, she hid in a cave for as long as she could, in fear. That time in the cave, she pondered why death exists, what is death. Her over-whelming fear of her once non-existent enemy shook her greatly, causing an odd type of insanity to take place.

Theme Song
My Immortal

Other
Based off an immortal charrie I have in game.

Thunder and Sir Darknite

In the distance, the two wolves were traversing the rough terrain of the mountains that surveyed much of the surrounding forest and grassland. The gray wolf followed the darker wolf's lead, limping as he struggled to keep up. A low whimper left his jaw when a pang of pain struck his back leg, though he simply tried to shoulder it off. "Are you keeping up alright back there, young one?" Thunder perked his ears at his leader's voice and nodded respectfully, "Yes, I'm fine sir. And you don't have to call me young." "I call you young because you still have much to learn compared to myself," He chuckled and thunder twitched his ears in slight annoyance. The elder wolf glanced over his shoulder, able to see the three legged wolf was struggling before coming to a halt abruptly. Thunder watched him do so inquiring, "Sir, why have we stopped?" "Well, I am quite weary. I don't have as much fiery youth as someone your age. Besides, there is no rush in leaving this area. It's actually quiet peaceful here."

The dark wolf plopped down against the cold stone flooring they had been traveling. The gray wolf was a bit taken back by this though nodded in understanding, going to lay down as well before uttering, "Thank you sir. I appreciate it." Darknite shifted his golden gaze towards the young wolf and let out a small chuckle. Thunder's ears swayed in confusion at this gestures and asked, "Something funny sir?" "Quite so,"The wolf answered, till having a well humored tone, "It's just, you're stubborn nature reminds me a lot of my naive self back in the golden days." The gray wolf winced at this though smirked, "Well you probably didn't get your leg torn off savagely by wild psychotic monsters. How can i be anything like you anyways? You are much more so superior to me." Darknite met his gaze and his slight smile turned to a frown. "Don't degrade yourself Thunder," He began a serious reply, "If anything, that handicap makes you much stronger. And I didn't mean by that way anyways. I meant personality wise." The old wolf glanced to the open sky draped above them with a flock of birds migrating like they always did this time of year.

He forced his smile to regain as he answered, "I was a very ambitious pup in my youth, always pushing myself to out do my brother. Day and night, I would train to strength myself to reach his par, even if my body collapsed while attempting to do so. He was gifted with father's bravery and bold strength and brawn and I suppose I was jealous. That's why when he decided to start his own pack, I made ours. I suppose I just couldn't accept to defeat. Though now as I reflect on those days, I know it was a childish pursuit." The gray wolf listened attentively though flattened his ears against the back of his skull in thought. He took a moment to ponder something before saying, "I see. I would have done the same in your position." Thunder peered to the sky as well, feeling his bristling hairs finally start to die down at the serenity of rest.

A thought was itching in his mind, one he hated to bring up, though his curiosity made it terribly difficult to ponder it, "Sir Darknite? W-what do you think will become of our pack?" The wolf stared at him blankly in response to this before he lowered his head uttering sadly, "I... I'm not sure Thunder. You don't need to think about such morbid things. Please, Get some rest. You will need it later on in our travels." With that, Darknite faced away shamefully, forcing himself to close his eyes. Thunder watched this motion before mimicking his actions and shut his eyes, drifting off into a dark sleep.

The old wolf, hunched over from eating, finally finished. With a stretch and a yawn, she mumbled, "Oi, I need a nap. Or maybe I can just go to sleep for the night." Getting up, she left the corpse of the elk slowly piling with ravens picking at the tender parts of the flesh. A small bird, a starling perhaps, fluttered over through the trees. She thought nothing of it, instead Kaz made her way to a gnarly old oak, which was quite peculiar looking in the birch forest. However, she was on the edge of it anyway. Digging a small bowl in the earth to make a suitable hole for herself, she stretched and curled up in it. The grey hairs on her muzzle wafted in the breeze, and a raven settled next to her.

"The wolf helped raven, the raven helps wolf," the bluish-black bird said, his dark beak shining dully. He plopped his fat bottom down, feathers spreading, making him look like a duck. He would stay with this old wolf, yes. And they would find food together all the time, yes.

Thunder and Sir Darknite

Not before long, the young wolf found himself being prodded awake by one of his dreams. He perked his ears alertly and glanced around the clearing, panting slightly from the anxiety. When Thunder saw there was no one but his former alpha closer, he rested his chin back on his paws, flexing his ears back in grief and allowed a low almost groaning sigh escape his throat. His gaze shifted towards the canopy of dark clouds and few stars that were visible from where he was positioned. What's the point of really moving on? We should have just ended up like the others. I should have done more! This whole incident is my fault! Thunder released an aggravated echoing snarl, clenching his claws into the rocky terrain below. His figure was tense. That's all the wolf could think anymore. His strong sense of pride was playing on his mind, devouring him alive in guilty and weakness. Thunder shook his head and rose to his feet tiredly, glancing around before padding on by himself on a short walk staying alert.

The pounding of the desperate heartbeat, the crunching of the compressed leaves, the raging fear sprouting within her mind. Niya's ears hugged her cranium as she shot forward through the decaying undergrowth of the unfamiliar forest. The small female's fearful stance only added on to her already small demeanor and her gentle gaze, which now seemed to be drowned in shock as she stumbled over her small paws. Niya knew Desia was right all along, she should have stayed back at the cave. But food had grown scarce, and Desia was traveling into unknown territory. Fearing her sister's demise, she followed only to stir up the infected more and in a desperate attempt, was injured escaping. Her sisters last words were Niya's name followed by a forceful order to run. And hesitantly, she did. Like a coward. Leaving her sister to fend them off, leaving her without knowing if she made it or not, leaving Niya to run blindly through the strange territory. Her front, right shoulder blade was damaged mildly. Neither a clean slice or a deep hole, Niya had fallen off the edge of a valley, leaving a jagged, bumpy wound upon her bloodied fur.

But that mattered little, Niya was far more focused on running, which she seemed to equally be failing at as her paws tangled up once more and in a sudden rush, tumbled forward. Her yelps of pain were muffled bu the ground as she rolled messily to a stop at the bottom of the descent, her rump catching her smoothly. But with her luck, she wasn't safe. Her large, doe-like optics landed on two unfamiliar males which seemed like the worst circumstance at the moment. Her ears shot back as she backed away slowlu, backing herself into the rock wall, her eyes gazing up at the males in fear and angst. She was small for her age, and weak, no match for two males.

Abyss sighed faintly. The two wolves she had seen on the mountain pass were but corpses of those who had succumbed to the sickness. She supposed that some were too weak to turn into the zombie-like beings that had haunted her Prospering land almost a year ago. She jumped faintly as lightning flashed across the sky above, and reflected in her eyes, giving that searing gaze of hers more depth.
She started heading for a hole in the side of the mountain, one where a fox had once lived from the looks of it, and poked her head into it to see if anything was still living in it.
The thunder rumbled through the forest, breaking the silence.

Yegor looked up towards the sky upon the flash of lighting, followed by the roll of thunder. "Sol, my friend, I'd rather you not be flying in this weather." He shouted ahead at the bird, who had disappeared somewhere into the forest.

- Kaz -

Kaz's ears jolted forward as a harsh, cold slap from, what she thought was, another infected. She leaped to her paws with a snarl, scaring the plump raven next to her. "Oh? Another freeloader, eh?" she huffed, sounding quite rude, but, she thought to herself, it was good to have some company. Picking up the raven and plopping him down on her ruff, she trotted down the hill and to the carcass. The rain would drench it, and it would get really soggy and gross. She should probably save it. Digging the hole she had made a lot wider, she shoved the elk into the dirt and made sure it was completely covered by the now cave-like den. Settling in, squished next to it, she quickly dug a small, shallow but covered den for the raven. He promptly hopped over and settled in nicely. "It's a bit strange for you to sleep on the ground, don't ya think?"

"Oh no! Raven stays on ground much, much, during rain. Not good fly," he answered with a quick jerk of his head, before settling down and sleeping.

"It doesn't matter what's in front of her. As long as she knows who's behind her

Name:
Linnea

Gender:
Female

Accompanied by:
Herself

Personality:
Linnea is a very loyal canine who will protect those she labels as friends, or if you're in danger she will risk her life and step in to help another of her species, this also shows her bravery and how she isn't afraid. Lia is quite the stubborn canine and only does something if she is wanting to do so-many see this as negativity but they'll never know unless they get to know her. Linnea likes to be alone, and that's how you'll see her mostly venturing around. Alone. Although, she does love the company of others as being alone does get lonely. Like most wolves Linnea has a snappy side to her, pretty worse than most and when it happens she's the most horriblen bitter and ignorant wolf you'll ever meet-although if she hurts you when angered or mad she tends to apologise. Linnea is always a bubbly and playful canid who doesn't really take life to serious, although she knows when to be and when not to be. At times she'll say what she wants when she wants, many seem to love tha fact she says it how she is. Always being stubborn, playful, feisty, brave and loyal she's all in all a great friend to have. Maybe you'll learn more about her in time. Linnea is very cunning and mischevious, many see her as sneaky as she often moves fast, silently and swiftly like a shadow. She's brave and outgoing, witty and mysterious. Although she's young Linnea is pretty wise and good at giving advice.

Description/Picture:
Picture above, one thing you can't really notice is her eyes. She has a unique colour eyes, they seem to be a mix of both light and dark blues along with a few different greens, the colour brown is also mixed in hence why they look rather dark in the picture-as you can see.

Bio:
Everything seemed to look up for Linnea when she was a pup, she did have dark nights but they were always followed by a brighter day. She got into many fights and arguments as a pup but that's what seems to happen in a pack. Since having three brothers and no siblings Linnea was brought up to be tough and take care of herself-not letting anyone push her around, and that's something she has carried throughout her life. Like few the most years of her life were spent training her up for the big world, but it all came to fast for her. Reaching the age of 1 something happened.

It all seemed a mystery as her pack members soon began to vanish, no trace what so ever. The alphas had grown worried and soon it was obvious. Many corpses of many forest creatures seemed to start slowly die off. No one knew what it was until many began talking about it. The infection. The pack quickly died out and few creatures turned ridden with disease and even going crazy. Seeing the danger she left.

Still being a young age the world was all knew to the young wolf, the forest was a big place and she was now alone-no pack nor family nor friends to help her out. Although the days were tough Linnea always had the spirit of a fighter-just like her mother and her father. Pushing on she has now managed to survive in the harsh wilderness alone for a year, although to some its not long it feels like a life time to her. Lia is now still venturing the vast, infected wilderness alone.

"This disease CAN'T be the downfall of us.."

Name: Mystery
Gender: Female
Accompanied by: A very morbid figure of her brother.
Personality: Mystery is rather on the shy side. She isn't the type that likes company of a large ground and only prefers groups of one or two. If there are more she'll most likely stay away. She is often tagged as a coward for running away from fights and doesn't care much, she hates getting into fights but she can deffinently hold her own. Aside from that, she is actually friendly once you get her to actually talk.
Description/Picture: Above|She is blind in her right eye and a scar across the bridge of her nose. She also has knicks on her ears and a rather long scar along her right hip.
Bio: Mystery was born as a loner with a single brother, Ghost. An odd name for a young wolf pup but he was born a very ghostly gray hince his name. Mystery got her name for being born white when both parents were gray. She was told she got her color from her grandmother who was also born white with gray eyes. When they came of age they set off through the forest to try and find a pack and they had. Unfortunately when she grew old enough they gave her the rank of omega because she was blind in one eye. When the virus came along she couldn't do anything but run and that's what she had done. As she had ran, though, her brother appeared and lunged at her. He stopped short and collapsed in a heap only inches away from her. She ran from the scene before anything else could stop her and has lived alone ever since then.

"This disease CAN'T be the downfall of us.."

Mystery lay huddled in a heap beneath a hollow under a bush she had dug out herself. It was a tight fit but it covered her and it was better than nothing. She felt a sudden cool breeze and looked out of the bush to see the morbid ghost of her brother. She crawled out and and tried to walk off but he turned and began to walk away. "Don't leave." She whimpered and tried to follow. He made multiple turns but eventually she lost sight of him. A new wave of sorrow filled her and she threw back her head in a howl. It was normal when she saw her brother. The melodic song was both depressing but beautiful at the sametime. After a brief moment she trudged back to the small hollow and climbed back in to shelter herself from others. She curled up in a tight ball and rested her tail over her paws.

Not really the best post but I could't think. xP]]

Abyss sighed faintly before diving onto the hole she was inspecting. The rain had started pouring, and she was already becoming soaked.
The cave was dark, even when the lightning cracked across the sky. So, all anyone could really see of this curse-pelted wolf would be her harvest moon-yellow eyes.

- Kaz -

The grey wolf stretched, closed warm in her dirt den. The corpse that was squashed next to her had been there for a while, so the blood was seeping into her fur, and she'd probably smell like that for a while. She couldn't get any sleep in here, it was so cramped. With a growl of discomfort, Kaz shifted yet again. Within another hour, she hoped, the rain would be over and by then she'd be able to stretch her legs without getting wet. Maybe, when the fat raven was done being lazy, she'd have a chat.

Thunder and Sir Darknite

Before Thunder got to far in his patrol, a peculiar scent hit his snout. His amber gaze grazed over in the direction as he cautiously padded closer, spotting a female wolf not too far from himself. She seemed much more of a runt than most wolves her age. Even so, he didn't let down his guard. His stance tensed as he shoved his ears forward in alert, his fangs flashing intimidation at her. The brute waited to strike, already quite worn down from his distance venture from his old homeland. Thunder lashed the sides of his mouth back more to show even more of his large dagger like teeth before he proceeded to inquire in a slight hostile tone, "Who are you and what business do you have here?" He kept his head up boldly though saw the she wolf back down out of uneasy fright, knowing the dominant side now. The young wolf lessened his aggressive expression, knowing he had gotten his point across before he stood back up with a straight posture, his voice more firm than hostile now, "What is someone like you even doing out at a time like this alone? You do realize that if I was like most of my kin in mannerisms, I would have already sprung to attack, right? Be lucky I'm such a 'giving' soul." His last sentence had a bit of a sneer to it as he turned his head back to examine where Darknite was still soundly resting a bit away, curled up into a dark puff ball.

Linnea

"It doesn't matter what's behind her. As long as she knows who's behind her!"

As the large she-wolf emerged from the bushes of the large forest a sigh blew past her lips as she suddenly stopped-glancing up at the open canopy above her that allowed rain to drop down onto the forest floor. The skies had suddenly turned black and mysery filled the atmosphere of the grey skies. It was usual for this to happen ever since the infection spread, it was rare they got a full sunny day without a splash of rain. Flashes of light now and then along with loud rumbles continued to fill the forest. Linnea allowed her head to drop once again-glancing around at the debris that surrounded her, giving her head a brisk shake she quickly set off.

Broad paws pressed against the foliage causing twigs to snap from the heavy weight of the she-wolf, but obviously the sounds were unheard by the rumbles of the skies. Although the rain didn't bother her Linnea wished they could atleast get a fine day which would allow her to cover ground quickly and maybe find a potentail meal. But it all seemed to hard for now. It had been a while since Linnea had seen another wolf never mind living prey, she hadn't eaten in atleast a day and her hunger was quickly building up-but it rarely seemed to growl. The only sound she could hear were the sound of rain pattering against hard surfaces from the forest.

Now out in the open of the forest Linnea had already been soaking, her once smooth, fluffed coat was now transformed into a soaking, matted mess. As the rain continued to beat down on the wolfs pelt her ears flattened against her head-tail hanging low and not to far from between her legs. Ever since the infection and the loss of her family members Linnea had always seemed a little saddened or annoyed-although she tried her best to cover it and get over it. Slowly the large canid crawled through the forest, her legs moving at an even pace as she trudged onward-she was certain she wouldn't find food, nor any of her speacies-even the infected. The rain seemed to block out most of the scents.

The small female watched the strange male in fear and angst. He was threatening, and she had no intentions of pushing to get to know him. The males words, however, pushed a certain nerve within her and her sudden fear shifted as quickly as it appeared into a defensive stare. "Be lucky I am intellectually evolved. Or I wouldn't think twice about defending myself, small or not." She retorted, her ears pinned back. A sudden shift in body weight pulled a small whimper from her as her shoulder bled onto her fur even more. Lucky her, the wound could obviously be distinguished from a bite. Rolling her shoulder back in silence, she gazed away from the male, her ears and expression softening into remorse. She was tired, weak, injured, and left alone. Never separated from her sibling, Niya gazed at the chilled ground in an almost hidden despair. She was utterly alone, and she was well aware of her chances out here. She wasn't one to snap as she did at the male, but the abandonment and anguish she felt drowned out her senses, leaving her looking to the untrained eye a simple weakling. But to those willing to take a second glance her fear and despair shrouded the air in a pitiful veil. The fact that her curious eyes followed the male's gaze to the other figure resting a few yards away didn't help. Only reminding her of her loss. "I'm not out here by choice." She muttered, pushing to her feet, her front paw hovering over the ground in rest as she gazed away from the two, examining the area for an east trail back up the rock wall.
