Title: Music, anyone?

There are so many music lovers that I've seen in this community.
Some make it, some listen to it, some both.

So, what about you guys?
Do you like music? Play an instrument? Sing?

As for myself, I'm always listening to music. Mostly rock, some disco and the occasional pop song (the rare few that aren't about butts and are completely derogatory). It's rare to find me at my desk without headphones on. I've also played the trumpet since 4th grade, and I plan to continue into High School.

Music = life.

I play the drums with my youth group and on Sunday morning church service, as well as guitar.
I absolutely adore music.

I listen to mostly rock (such as Bon Jovi and Green Day) as well as lots of Christian rock like Planetshakers, and Chris Tomlin. I also greatly enjoy country music like Tim McGraw and Toby Keith.

Personally, I can't stand modern "music" where nobody even plays an instrument because it's all electronic.
Pop, hip hop and rap are by far my least favorite genres. I just honestly think most of it is degrading and disgusting based on the lyrics.

I guess you can say I'm old fashioned when it comes to music.

I don't want to sound like a hipster but I really dislike a lot of the modern, 'popular' music. I listen to mostly old rock bands but I also like to listen to a bit of Green Day or Foo Fighters every now and then.

and I don't mind a bit of Daft Punk on the side either. :P

Anyway, Music = Life.

I LOVE MUSIC, I listen to it every second. *Is listening to music right now*

I often like unique game related songs and more modern sounding, like dubstep, electro, some bounce, and etc.
I listen to a lot of FNAF related songs but also songs by Monstercat and other creators. It's rare to see me listening to more mainstream music, but I also take an interest in Coldplay, One Republic, and Imagine Dragons. I'm not really a pop person or popular music person, I tend to stay away from that for the most of it.

I don't really have a favorite genre but I also like orchestral music. (I secretly listen to a lot of piano music. Shh.) But if this were a genre.. it would be my favorite: Classical Music + Nature Sounds
Nature is a big thing for me when listening to music, I often listen to peaceful music with nature added in at least some point. I can't handle much music if it doesn't relate to nature.

Man, I love music. I feel if I didn't take my route in life as a visual designer, I think a music composer would be my second path.
When I was little I used to always thought the trombone was the coolest instrument ever, and eventually in the 5th grade, I managed to pick one up and eventually joined the marching Band in the 6th grade and continued throughout college.

It's extremely odd to a lot of people when I don't have headphones on or not tapping my pen on a table to some random beat.

As for my musical taste, well is a brow raiser. I like music that has odd beats, or a collection of experimentation. Normally bands that like to take chances with experimentation, in some ways makes them Avant Garde [Rather 'hipster' thing to say, but its lack of a better term] Don't get me wrong I will at times listen to some overplay popular mainstream tracks at times, nothing wrong with something that clicks to you. But most of the time Im just doing a lot of self discover by searching through Youtube or music Youtube channels, I even co-run a Youtube Channel called Holy Chill.

Most Popular Genres

Sorry about that rant there, I'm rather passionate about that Genre and it breaks my heart people would think that way about it because a lot of Wonderful artist get overlook because of their music is labeled in that title, It's irritating.

Least Favorite Genres
The most common would probably be Dubstep and ANY genre that involves the word METAL I keep away from*Its just too intense for my mellow, slow down personality*

Vespian listens to music 98.9% of the time. If not listenin' to it, a familiar tune commences on replayin' itself within my own head.

Generally, I'll listen to anythin' that has a good beat in my perspective. Although I tend to lean more towards rock and metal than I do the other genres of music. Some artists I can name are Disturbed, SlipKnot, A Perfect Circle (bein' my favorite band), Linkin Park, Red, etc. Vespian also enjoys listenin' to hauntin' ambiences as odd as that may sound. Some artists of the like are Alias Conrad Coldwood and Kammarheit. Vespian's least favorite genre is country. Ye'd probably find me clawin' at my ears after a while of listenin' to it.

Vespian used to sing, aye, but stopped.

I love music. I know for sure that I could never have a life without music. Everything I do always am sure that I have music close by to me so that I can enjoy listening. It always keeps my spirits up. ^^

Play an instrument?
Sadly I do not play a musical instrument. I know I have definitely tried in the past, and would love to play beautiful music, but every attempt I have made seemed to have failed sadly. The number on instrument I wish to play is a flute. ^^

Sing?
In all honesty that is the only musical thing I can do. My singing voice is my only musical instrument. Hmm....I guess I do play a instrument. xD

I love music. My favorite genres are Metal (especially german and swedish metal), Psy-Trance and anything with a slightly haunting/creepy/dark tune to it.

The ones I cannot stand are slow, peaceful tunes (unless they're darker, build ups or haunting/gothic styled songs) or pop and rap or country.

Play an instrument?

Learned how to play the violin since 4th grade 'till end of high school. I own one and probably will still use it, when I have time though.

Sing?

Had to sing in high school. I know how to read music and everything, but will I do it in front of people? No. Will I sing to myself when alone or while listening to a song alone? Yes.

i run on music ok

my favorite genres are indie and alternative rock

i don't play a musical instrument but i do wish to relearn the guitar but my school is dumb and the class is going to be taken out next year before i had the chance to take it

i do not sing i totally suck at it trust me when i sing i sound like a whale

Music is my passion, life, and everything.

I listen to music everyday; morning, afternoon, and night. I listen to it when I'm upset; it really calms me down. Or even those depressing moments, it calms the moments. I don't know, but music is the second part of my life. If music wasn't part of life I don't know what I'll do.

However, I must say, I not a big fan of censored and cussing music. It just not my type. Maybe like country and party music type? I don't know, but it really sparks my thoughts and make me thinks of way I don't even do. But, when it comes to instruments, I don't know. I don't really enjoy it.

Put it like this. I like listening, but not playing. But music is cool. :>

Well well, this is one interesting topic!
I do indeed love music! Pop, Dubstep, Electronic, Drumstep, Instrumental.
My fave song is probably and currently Razor Sharp by Pegboard Nerds and Tristam (Monstercat Release). :)
I've once work on a Music Video with my sis Fantasias! It's called "Feral Heart - The Dubstep Song". She made most of it, but I'm invloved in it! x3 The song is ur fave song, Razor Sharp. :3
