Title: Wearable Pets/Familiars [FINISHED] ~Kaz

I made most of the wombat and IT animals into pets that will follow your character, they are items so they don't move other than mimicking your characters general movements.

EDIT: 5/11/2012 For the texture issue

Fixing now, will be worth the wait adding 2 new butterflies and a brown cow :)  I may add other things as well -mysteriousness-

no sadly because FH doesn't allow that I don't believe,  they kinda jump a bit while your character is running but other than that no.

its in one of the notepad files open it and then copy and paste it into items.cfg

I dunno how it works for everyone else, but these are the ones I got that came out white:

Duckling, Elephant, Fennec Fox, Frog, Gazelle, Giraffe, Hare, Humming Bird, Kitten,
Okapi, Panda, Peacock, Baby Penguin, Penguin, Red Panda, Salmon, Snake, and Wildebeast

Just downloaded and put everything where it should be, all the image and mesh files etc into items, but the pets showed up white. Wassup XD

The problem is that you aren't copying and pasting the coding into items.cfg heres what you have to do:

1. Open the .zip file
2. Open the text document labeled "copy and paste..."
3. Copy everything in that
4. Go to your FeralHeart folder
5. Scroll down until you find "Items.cfg" its a text thing
6. Open "items.cfg"
7. Scroll down to the bottom and then paste
8. Save and close "items.cfg"
9. Open FeralHeart
10. They should be colored now

I just downloaded it, and most of the animals are showing up as no texture white. I put all the files in the right places I think, so I don't know why they're showing up white. :o

I found what's making the animals white.
In 'Items.cfg', there is no material, just the mesh. You should put the material name under the mesh name, Kaz :3

Actually its supposed to be like that. The material should be linked to the material file which should be linked to the mesh. So basically thats not the problem ^^

The maker of this item pack has not been on FeralHeart since December of last year. I think it's pretty safe to say that this member is either on a long hiatus, or has unofficially left FH for good.

I really want to have a pet so if you can give me a link for I would be really grateful. I have been looking and looking for pet items no I found it I'm sad I cant have it like others. So can some one give me a link for a zip download even pm if you have to.

Please try not to double post, if you want to edit your post, just click the button 'Modify' in the top right corner of your post. ^^ And the owner of the thread hasn't updated the main post since 2012, but if you would like items like this, I'd suggest checking out the Legendary Items Pack, (http://sephalovable.deviantart.com/art/Legendary-Items-Feral-Heart-Item-Pack-v3-0-528359795)

it includes items like these (possibly even the same ones pictured in this thread) and more.

Also, this thread hasn't been posted in since 2013, so I'd suggest sticking to newer threads. The owner of this thread hasn't been on the forum for more than a year, so posting here probably won't help you get much of a response.  But, hopefully the Legendary Items Pack has some similar items that you'd find interesting! ^^
