According to an old legend, when the end of the world comes, Paradise will appear on Earth. However, wolves are the only ones who know how to open it. Although wolves are believed to have been hunted to extinction two hundred years ago, they still exist, surviving amongst the humans by taking human form.
In this story, it has been five hundred years since the world was reborn thanks to the wolves Kiba, Tsume, Hige, Toboe and Blue. They were the ones who protected the flower maiden Cheza until she released her seeds and new lunar flowers sprouted as the world froze over. The earth was reborn and Paradise appeared, but it was tainted by the noble Darcia's darkness.
Now, history has repeated itself and the world is dying again. It is up to a new generation of wolves to find the flower maiden and re-open Paradise.
Rules:
-You do not have to watch Wolf's Rain to join, but knowing about it is much preferred. If you haven't watched the anime, I highly recommend it. You can watch all of the episodes in good quality on YouTube if you want. If you don't want to watch it and still want to RP here, at least read about it on Wikipedia or something, please.
-Feel free to create drama.
-If your wolf dies from something, and you want to stay in this roleplay, feel free to make another character.
-Cussing is allowed, but no F-bombs or G-damn's, please.
-Romance/relationships and especially fighting are allowed, but don't get in on the sex/mating, birthing, gore details.
-No god-modding, power-playing, Mary/Gary suing, etc etc.
-Your wolf doesn't have to look 100% realistic - just stick to natural fur colors and semi-realistic markings. I would prefer if they did not have earrings, but necklaces/collars/bracelets are okay if they have an explanation.
-Wolves aren't the only kind of character you can apply for; you can be a human, one of the nobles, or the flower maiden (who doesn't have to be Cheza, since this is a new generation - you can give her a new name if you'd like. same goes for the nobles and other humans)
-You cannot apply to be any of the canon characters. That means no Kiba, Tsume, Cher Degre, Quent Yaiden, etc. apps.
-Feel free to offer any plot ideas you may have.
-There's no limit to character amount, as long as I see you can handle all of them. Please do not join if you know you will be inactive a lot.
-When you talk in OOC (out of character) please put it in brackets or parentheses to keep it a little neater.
-Please have good literacy. Also, be creative with your characters! No copy-cats; I wanna see some variety.

Age: 21 (human years)
Personality: Takai usually comes off as antisocial and mostly concerned with herself. However, she is about the nicest, kindest wolf you can find if you can get her to trust you. It isn't an easy process, but a rewarding one, because she'll be a lifetime protector and friend.
History: Takai and her brother were somehow separated from their family while still pups. A human took them in, but Takai left as soon as she could because she doesn't like humans.

Personality: Nocqae is an easy-going wolf for the most part, but he'll defend his sister and pack to the death if necessary. Although he's not the best fighter, he has bravery and instinct. It's sometimes hard to tell what he's thinking, as he can't speak, but he can usually make his feelings known through his eyes and body language.
History: Nocqae and his sister were somehow separated from their family while still young. A human took them in and took care of them until Takai left. Nocqae followed his sister, not wanting to lose the only family he had left.

Gender: Female
Age: 18 (Human years)
Personality: Reticent and a bit shy, Saya prefers being alone to observe from the shadows, though she knows that her decision to follow the scent of the lunar flower will bring her onto the paths of other wolves. She is a logical thinker and would make a great leader due to her level head and ability to keep cool in all situations. Saya has a strong sense of responsibility and a valorous heart. Toward strangers, she behaves warily and is curt as she tries to distance herself due to her past, but once she warms up to someone (this will only happen if she has no choice but to be around someone, which I imagine will happen as the wolves gather together to find the flower maiden) she is very gentle and loyal to the end. When not under pressure she tends to be laid back. She is very independent and determined, as well as being a tough fighter, but is wise enough to know when to back down. However, she can be blunt at times and may unintentionally offend someone without realizing. Though she seems idealistic and serious most of the time, she does have a dry, witty sense of humor.
History: Saya and her brother were secretly captured by a group of military scientists who needed humans to perform their latest experiment idea on. Her brother was taken back first, not knowing what would happen to him. The sounds of pain that came out of the room will forever haunt Saya; she had no idea what was happening to her sibling but she knew she smelled his blood. When the scientists came for her next, she dropped her human illusion and attacked, managing to escape with her life.
Extra: Her hearing is her sharpest sense. She is a very swift runner. In her human form, her eyes are light green, like her wolf form. Her human hair is longer than in her picture - about halfway down her back - but she still has whispy "swoopy" bangs on the left as well as that other shorter piece of hair on the right (like in the pic). She is slender and tall, standing about 5'6" in human form; she wears a black tank top (with a gray V on the chest) and a jacket over it (like this (http://i1256.photobucket.com/albums/ii499/ShyShadie/military-jackets-aw09_zpse47a0cc5.jpg) but navy), as well as skinny black jeans and gray mid-calf boots with buckles on the outer sides. Her wolf form also has a thick V-shaped marking on her chest, the same color as her inner ear fur, eye markings and tail tip.

Your characters are accepted, but Takai's wolf picture has some unrealistic coloring to it (the green markings). Also, I would prefer if she did not have hair as a wolf. If you could find a new picture for her, or if you like the markings and just want to say that the green places are a different (natural) wolf color that would be great. Nocqae's wolf hair is okay, since the picture makes it look kinda like its just more of his head fur.
I hate to ask that, but I wanna keep the RP like the original story, since Wolf's Rain's setting is Earth. I'm really sorry.. :c ))

Personality: Usually pretty kind, and at times like to make riot with humans. Can be mean to those she does not trust; or those who are mean to her. She can be confusing at times, so things she says may make you clueless; but, sometimes the things you say will be confusing to her, even if they are explained. She is determined and does not really understand where 'Paradise' is, at first she thinks it a lie and just a rumor, but her thoughts change in the future. Serana will attack you if you make her mad enough. Not really one to be tampered with; she may look friendly, but inside she can be mean.
History: She was a loner in the wild snows, and nearly never used her human form, but when a group of humans came after her she had no where else to run. Except for the city. Running as fast as she possibly could she bolted in, several humans looked her way as they seen a massive dog run through. Serana bolted down a alley and walked out the other side, in her human form. And now she walks the streets, looking for more wolves like her.

Personality: He has a very high temper and hates it when people bug him. Sometimes he can be flirty, it depends on the person really. he will defend those he loves, even if it means death. Other that that he has a good sense of humor and he can still be quite nice.
History: he was once held by humans in a "Zoo" as they called it, but Jake used his strength to jump up and climb the fence, they followed him; but they could not keep up, not even on horse-back.

Personality: Despite what happened in Daichi's past, he still acts like a pup but he does have his serious moments and he also won't turn into his human form unless it's a life or death situation and even then he will try his darnedest to avoid it if he can. He's pretty easygoing where if you threaten him he'll blow it off, but if you threaten someone he cares about he'll show you no mercy and even though his injured leg makes it hard for him to fight he's still not afraid to take on anyone or anything no matter how big they are. He also hates to see females sad or upset and he will do anything to cheer them up.
History: When Daichi was only 10 weeks old his parents and siblings were killed by humans and he was also going to be killed but one of the humans took notice how instead of running away like his family had tried to he was standing his ground and snarling at them so the human decided to take him and train him to be a fighter dog. After months of brutal training he had become one of the best fighters despite his small size, but he had a habit of never taking his opponents seriously and goofing around and unfortunately one day it cost him dearly. During a fight against a pit bull (which he had never encountered before) he was taunting it and then he decided to jump over it and when he did it latched onto his back right leg and bit it hard enough to break it. After that he was deemed worthless as a fighter and his owner abandoned him and because his broken leg wasn't able to heal properly he's no longer able to put his full weight on it without it causing him pain. Fast forward to now and he has been living in a small city where he's survived by stealing food from humans or other canines (which usually end up with him getting hurt since he can't run that fast).

Personality: Aatto is an adventurous wolf who grew in the wild on his own. He has no memory of his parents, though that's fine by him, for he always looks to the future and the bright side of things. He can be pretty mischievous at times, but has a huge heart, always kind to those around him. He is playful and wild, a very untameable being and will always do things on his own, refusing to be ordered around. He ventures on his own but does enjoy the company of others, and remains very calm under any situation.
History: Aatto always travelled on his own and has moved from city to city, and has always been alone. Sometimes at night on a full moon he sings to the skies with happy spirits. However, he was once captured by humans and taken to a secret hideout where they have done many illegal things to wildlife animals, not just wolves. There he has witness and endured unbearable tortures that have left his body weak, and has been both scarred mentally and physically. He had managed to escape from such a horrid place with a manacle and chain around his right foreleg, and though he has healed the memories still remained, hidden in the dark part of his conscious, never to be spoken of...

@SoaringAway: Awesome - Ali is accepted! I'm glad you chose to be the flower maiden! Have you watched the series? In the original story, Cheza was blind. So it would be cool for Alith to be mute. ^^ Do you think it would be alright if we say that only the wolves can speak with her, like through telepathy?

Just for the record, the Flower Maiden does not eat, but instead basks in the sun to make food, like a plant would.

Sorry for bombarding you with all this stuff - I just wanted to let you know about how Cheza was in case you never watched the series, so it can help you get a feel of the flower maiden.

Let's go ahead and start the RP. I think anyone from the old thread would have shown up here by now if they wanted to continue so Draco's character would be alone if we started from where they left off anyway.

"Give that back you damn mutt!" a burly butcher shouted, brandishing a cleaver as he chased Daichi.
"Yer gonna have ta run faster than that if ya want ta catch me, old man!" he taunted even though he knew that the butcher couldn't understand him in his wolf form. Rounding a corner he ran a little while longer before he passed an alley and he skidded to a stop then backed up to it. It came to a dead-end but it had a few places to hide so he trotted into it and hid behind a trashcan and not a moment too soon since the butcher ran pass the alley a few seconds later.
"And humans call us stupid?" he snorted. He waited a few minutes to make sure the butcher wasn't coming back before he lied down and placed the steak he had taken from the butcher onto the ground. "Man, it's been a while since I've had fresh food," he said as he sniffed the steak. Licking his lips he went to take a bite out of it when the trashcan next to him suddenly rattled and he jumped up then backed away from it.
"Hello...?" he called uncertainly and when the trashcan rattled again he took a few cautious steps toward it. "Um, is anyone in there?" A few moments of silence passed and just as Daichi was starting to think it was just his imagination a weak whine came from inside the trashcan causing him to tilt his head, puzzled. What the heck was in there?
'Well, there's only one way ta find out,' he thought before he walked up to the trashcan and pushed it over with his nose. The trashcan hit the ground with a resounding clang which was followed by another weak whine. Still puzzled, Daichi walked to the front of the trashcan to peer inside and what he saw made his eyes widen in shock. A ball of black fur with big brown eyes was staring up at him, its eyes filled with fear. What was a pup doing inside of a trashcan?
"Hey, pup," he started. "Why are ya in there?" When the pup looked away and didn't say anything he frowned, but after a moment he replaced it with a friendly smile and said, "Listen, pup. I'm not gonna hurt ya," as his tail wagged.
The pup turned its head slightly and eyed him warily for a few moments. "How...how can I trust you?" it finally asked weakly and Daichi's smile widened into a grin.
"Come on, how can ya not trust this face?" he asked.
"Easily."
Ouch.
"If I couldn't even trust my owner then how could I trust a stranger like you?" the pup continued.
"Well, for one thing I'm not a human like yer owner. I'm a dog. Like ya. So, in a way we're like brothers-"
"I'm a girl..."
"Sisters! We're like sisters and brothers!" he corrected quickly.
"So?" The pup averted her eyes as sadness appeared in them. "You're still a stranger to me..."
Daichi let out a sigh as he sat down. "Listen, pup-"
"My name is Hana," she interjected.
"Hana? OK. Listen, Hana. Since ya don't trust humans anymore--not that I blame ya--and ya don't trust me then how about I take ya ta somebody that ya can trust?" he asked.
Hana looked up at him with a glint of hope in her eyes. "Who?"
The grin reappeared on his face. "Well, there's a dog who lives nearby that's like a surrogate mother ta all of the young strays. She'll take care of ya and raise ya until yer ready ta live on the streets on yer own."
"I don't know..." Hana said uncertainly. "Can she really be trusted?"
"Why don't ya be the judge of that?" he chuckled before he stood up. "Come on. I'll take ya to 'er."
Hana looked away. "I told you that I don't trust you, remember?"
Daichi resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "What are ya gonna do then?"
"Just give me the directions and I'll walk there myself," she said stubbornly as she got up on shaky legs.
"Yeah, right," he snorted. "It'll take ya hours ta get to 'er whereas it'll only take me minutes."
"Don't care," she replied curtly, sticking her nose into the air before she walked out of the trashcan and started heading out of the alley, but as she passed Daichi he picked her up by the scruff of her neck. "Hey! Let me go!" she yelled as she tried to wriggle out of his mouth.
"No-can-do," he drawled, enunciating each word. "Shorry Hana, but my chivalroush shide won't allow a young female pup shuch as yershelf ta go alone."
"I can take care of myself!" she retorted when he started walking out of the alley.
"Shure ya can."
"But...but..." she stammered, trying to come up with an excuse for him to let her go alone but failing. That is, until she noticed the steak on the ground and she got an idea. "What about your food?" she asked quickly.
"Huh?" Daichi stopped, his eyes shifting down to her before he turned his head to look back at the steak. "Oh! It'sh fine. I'll jusht come back for it later," he answered with a smile and continued walking.
Well, so much for that.

"Are we there yet?"
Daichi bit back a groan. "For the eighth time. Yesh, Hana. We're almosht there," he muttered. Was she like this all of the time? It would sure explain why her owner dumped her.
"Well, hurry up. All of these humans are making me uncomfortable..." she whined.
Daichi glanced down at her before looking around them. They -or technically just him- were currently walking through a crowd of people who were staring down at them with puzzled expressions on their faces. They had probably never seen a dog carrying a pup before.
"Ah, it'sh fine. Jusht ignore 'em," he said, eyes forward once again.
"Easy for you to say... You're bigger..." he heard her mumble.
"Then maybe ya should closhe yer eyesh," he suggested.
A few moments of silence passed and he thought she had taken his suggestion and closed her eyes. But then he heard her say, "But what if we pass something interesting? Then I won't be able to see it."
That's it.
Daichi stopped and was about to drop the little annoying fur-ball on her butt when he heard someone yell, "There's the thief!" and he whipped his head to the right to see a guy dressed in the same kind of clothes as the butcher who had been chasing him. He tensed when a larger guy showed up and he was about to make a run for it when the large guy hit the other one over the head and scolded, "Idiot! That's not the same dog! It was black and does that one look black to you?"
"No..." he whimpered, rubbing where the large guy had hit him.
"Moron," the large guy snapped before walking away and Daichi relaxed when the other one followed after him.
"Humans are scary..." Hana whimpered and Daichi glanced down at her before he continued walking silently. It was only after they had left the crowd of people and rounded a corner into an alley that went behind a bunch of different stores did he speak.
"They're not all bad. Shome of 'em have pure heartsh. In fact, in a lot of waysh they're like ush."
Hana looked up at him, surprised. "Really?"
"Yesh. I've met jusht ash many bad dogsh as I have humansh." He was lying, of course. He had met many more bad humans than dogs but there was no reason to tell her the truth since the only thing that would do is make her hate humans. Not that he's against hating humans since he hates them himself but being so young she would be more likely to snap at a human without thinking of what could happen afterwards.
Daichi couldn't help but inwardly snort. Yeah, just like he did to the man who was a part of the group that killed his family. Other dogs and wolves would call him a hypocrite, but if he could take it back he wouldn't since it was because of that man that he had become the tough wolf that he was today. However, he didn't want a sweet, innocent pup like Hana to live the way he had. She deserved to keep her innocence for as long as possible and besides, he had been lucky. Most humans would kill a dog that growls or snaps at them.
Gurgle, gurgle.
'Speaking of 'er...' Daichi's gaze lowered to the pup he had just been thinking about and he chuckled at the embarrassed look on her face. "We're almosht there."
"That's what you said before..." she grumbled.
"Yesh, and now I only have ta shay it shix more times before we're even," he quipped.
Hana tilted her head, confused, but then she understood what he meant and she gave him a dirty look which made him snicker.
"Daichi!" called a female voice from behind them and Hana could feel Daichi's mouth turn up in what probably was a grin as he turned his head to look at the source of the voice and her eyes widened in awe at the sight of a large, short haired tan/white dog with large ears that were erect and a bushy tail. But the females eyes looked really weird. Unlike the dogs Hana had seen which had brown or blue eyes the females eyes were a milky color and you couldn't see the pupils.
"Sharah," Daichi greeted before he turned and walked up to her. "How've ya been?"
"I've been marvelous," she replied with a smile, drawling the last word. "Lately there's been so many humans visiting the markets that I've been able to take food without them noticing. Most of the time, that is," she added with a chuckle.
"I'm glad to hear that," he chuckled.
"Why don't you take food from the marketplace instead of the butchers? It's a lot less dangerous and easier for you," she suggested.
He shrugged. "Nah, I enjoy the danger. It givesh me shomeshing ta look forward ta every day."
"You must have a pre-tty boring life then," she quipped with a smirk and Daichi was going to retort when Hana interrupted.
"What's wrong with your eyes?" she asked, causing Daichi's eyes to widen in horror.
"I'm sho shorry, Sharah! Forgive 'er! She shpeaks without thinking firsht!" he said quickly with a nervous smile.
"Hey!" Hana yelled.
Sarah giggled. "It's quite all right, Daichi." She lowered her head so it was level with Hana's. "What is your name, little one?" she asked with a kind smile.
"Um, my name is H-Hana..." she answered meekly.
'Sure. Now she's all shy and sweet,' Daichi thought as he rolled his eyes.
"Nice to meet you Hana," Sarah greeted. "Now, to answer your question the reason my eyes look the way they do is because I am blind," she explained, causing Hana's eyes to widen in shock and when she realized just how rude her question had been she looked down in embarrassment.
"I-I'm so sorry for asking a question like that," she squeaked.
Sarah giggled. "There's no need to apologize, dear. You didn't know."
Hana looked up at her in awe. 'Wow... She's so nice.'
"Hey," Daichi whined. "How come ya didn't bite 'er like ya did ta me?"
"Because," Sarah started, raising her head to give him a deadpan look, "you were older than her and you also didn't ask it innocently like she did."
His ears flattened against his head as he averted his eyes, pouting. "Sho? Ya still didn't have ta bite me..." he grumbled, causing her to laugh which only made his pout deepen.
"You're still such a pup, Daichi," she said fondly once she had stopped laughing and then she continued, "So. I'm guessing the reason for you being on this side of town is because you were bringing Hana to me?"
"Ya guessed right. As always," he chuckled. He could never stay mad at her -or any females for that matter- for very long.
"Well, I'd be happy to take her in. That is, if she wants to stay with me," she said.
"Yes!" Hana yelled without any hesitation. "Yes, I'd love to stay with you Ms. Sarah!"
"Just Sarah is fine, Hana," she said, waving her paw dismissively with a smile.
Hana nodded her head slightly with a sheepish smile before Daichi put her down.
"Finally!" he sighed in relief. "My jaw was starting ta feel like it was gonna fall off."
"Considering how much you talk I'm surprised it hasn't already," Sarah joked which made Hana giggle.
"Ha, ha. Very funny," he grumbled, but his smile showed that he wasn't upset. "Listen, as much as I enjoy talkin' to ya I've gotta go. I left a juicy steak behind ta help this little runt-"
"Hey!" Hana yelled, but he ignored her and continued.
"-ta find a place to stay."
"I'm shocked," Sarah snickered. "You actually left behind food to help someone?" she teased.
"Man, what is this? 'Make fun of Daichi' day?" he whined.
"I'm sorry, Daichi. You make it too easy," she giggled.
He looked away and muttered, "Yeah, sure..." but then he looked back at her with a grin. "Ya two take care of yerselves, all right?"
"I will!" Hana exclaimed as she jumped up and down.
Sarah giggled at Hana's antics. "We will. You take care as well Daichi," she said with a warm smile that made his cheeks warm up. It was a good thing he wasn't in his human form.
He cleared his throat slightly and said, "I will," with a warm smile of his own before he turned and started to head back to the alley he had left the steak in, but then he got an idea that made him inwardly smirk and he called over his shoulder, "Watch yer back at night, Hana! Sarah gets super hungry and she might mistake ya for a snack!"
"What?!" she squeaked.
"Daichi!" Sarah scolded, which made him laugh and he picked up his pace so he was running and once he was out of the alley Sarah let out an irritated sigh but then her mouth turned up in a soft smile.
"Idiot."

This place sure lives up to its name..
A young brunette woman walked along the side walk, hands in the pockets of her jacket as she glanced around at the few things that the city offered, ignoring and avoiding eye contact with the humans aside from an occasional "get lost" glare at the ogling boys. The chilling breeze brushed the skin exposed by the fraying tears in her black jeans; the scent of rain was in the air, but that wasn't all that she could smell..
Little did the people among her know, the woman was a wolfess. Luckily the skies in this dome were overcast so little to no shadow was cast of anyone, otherwise a canine's silhouette would be attached to her feet on the concrete.
Saya was her name, and she had just arrived in Freeze City the night before. Strange, she thought, that I haven't run into any others with that scent hanging on the wind. But it's better that way...
The wolf stopped upon her arrival at the center of the town. The street forked into a Y shape. There was an old, broken statue of some unknown man there in the middle, wielding a strange sword in his left hand while the other hand was clenched at his side. About a fourth of the top of his head was gone, and a long crack ran from his inner shoulder to where his heart would be if he were alive. To her, it looked as if he aimed the weapon at her as he glowered. And to her, his sword reminded her of a large fang.
She wondered why the humans would erect a statue of such an mean-looking guy. Maybe that's why he's broken.
Everything else about the town square was like the rest of the place so far - run down like the people there, drab like the skies. An abandoned building was across the street to her right while a haggardly meat shop was across the street on her left. A man in white, blood-stained clothing stood outside, speaking with a figure that she would know anywhere - one of the authorities of the town. With her hearing, she could just barely make out their words above the murmuring of the rest of the people in the streets as she stood there. Curious, Saya started walking casually across the road to the left of the square to eavesdrop.
"So, you said it was a large, brown dog with a tan face that stole a steak?"
Her ears would have perked, had her human illusion been dropped.
"Yes, just a little while ago. He ran that way, but he's probably long gone by now."
Saya walked past them now, pretending to pay no attention to the two humans.
"Well, we'll keep an eye out for 'im. It seems like there have been more large dog reportings than usual these past few days." The police officer nodded to the butcher and began to turn away. "Please report any sightings."
"Thank you, Officer," replied the butcher as he sighed and walked back inside.
The wolf turned into an alley then, wanting to find a quiet place where she could let her human form go. She absolutely hated having to disguise herself as one of those beasts..
Large dog reportings and the scent of lunar flowers. How unusual, she thought with a bit of sarcasm. If those guys aren't more careful they'll end up dead.
Saya made her way through the back streets, staying in her human form for now. Strangely enough, she soon came to a point where a good smell - intoxicating, even - flowed out of an alleyway instead of the smell of more garbage, enticing her forward. She walked cautiously up to the entrance of the alley, sniffing quietly. It was fresh meat.
Yeah, she had just heard about that "dog", but why would it leave its food where it was vulnerable to be found by the cats, crows, rats, or even other canines? As much as she wanted to run in there and take off with the meat, she feared it was a trap set by the humans to capture them. Then again...
She sniffed the ground...
There was the smell of another canine. Another wolf. More than likely the one that stole the steak and still a good reason to high tail it outta there.
Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, she leaped up to the side of the building on her left, repeating the maneuver on each side until she reached the high roof. Then she ran across the top of the building, jumping from roof to roof for a while until she was a good distance away and jumped back into the back streets, hoping it didn't follow her scent.
Eventually the human voices were nothing but quiet whispers on the zephyrs as the dark blueish-gray she-wolf traveled further down the alleys away from the town center. She passed many a trash can along the way, as well as the gossiping crows that fought over the scraps of whatever rotten food they could forage from the smelly, metal barrels. A scrawny tan cat yowled nervously at her from atop a concrete fence as she passed by, but she didn't bother even turning her head in its direction. Now she was really in a bad part of town - most (if not all) of the buildings she passed were totally abandoned. Glass from the broken windows above and the old beer bottles of the homeless people littered a few places of the ground that wasn't buried in trash. But here it was safe to let her guard down for a bit, as she could not smell or hear any humans nearby. Although the wolf's instincts told her to search for the source of the flower scent, she was tired and needed rest. Then maybe some food.

Personality: Cunning and sly as a fox. Jen likes to take it easy and have a good smoke when she can, though despite her laid-back ways she somehow gets her work done punctually. After the death of her husband, nothing seemed to matter to her any longer. She handles her grief silently.
History: Jen was once a scientist working in the lab of one of the most powerful nobles left on earth. The noble knew more of wolves and Paradise than most, and had ways of hunting down and finding supposedly extinct wolves (and other animals, but mostly wolves), which were then brought to the lab for studying and research. However, Jen spent so much time at work that she and her husband rarely got to spend time together. Later, her husband was killed in a terrible train accident, leaving her grief-stricken and remorseful that she had not spent enough time with him. The noble, too, was distraught, as Jen's husband was also the son of the noble. The noble woman, having gone insane with grief but knowing that wolves were the key to Paradise, wanted to eradicate wolves so that no one had happiness if she could not have it. After Jen told the noble of her own ways of grief (she wanted to kill the wolves for "stealing so much time" from her when she should have been with her husband), the noble decided to send her out as one of her own personal wolf hunters - which she created as a new secret-angent-type rank to her military - and they both got what they wanted.
Extra: Her hair is red instead of black.

(( Oops, sorry for not explaining this earlier: a noble is a human, they're just the richer ones that own the more advanced technology, such as aircraft, helmets that had goggles that could see through the wolves' human disguises, and really, really advanced computers (that's what I call them, anyway xD). One of the nobles even had some kind of life support system that kept his wife alive while she was sick; most of the cities that the wolves in the original series encountered were the cities built/run by the nobles. They lived in keeps while everyone else lived poorly.
I think that's all... Hope that helped ^^'
I should probably change that on the front page - I just referred to humans and nobles separately because "humans" can encompass anyone who isn't a noble, the normal humans. Being a noble in the anime seemed to really set you far apart from the rest of your race. :P

I have no idea what those things are sticking out of the dome. Those weren't explained either.

((@Everyone: Sorry guys ^_^;; I can't usually get on the computer every day... So I'm a bit slower than everyone else. I share this computer with a lot of people, so please forgive me if I don't post right away, but I promise I won't take longer than two days if it can be helped.

Now without further ado, my post!))
On the top of a tall building stood a lone figure, whose silver-blue eyes gazed upon the scenery of Freeze City, the snow falling lightly down around him. A slight, cool breeze blue through his short, spikey silver hair and he breathed it in slowly, then let it out as a cool misty frost blew out from his nose and mouth. He wore a long-sleeve, bluish white buttoned shirt that was rolled up at the elbows, and wore blue jeans and black boots. A chain dangled from a manacle around his right wrist, and the figure lifted his arm up to rub his chin. Yes, the scent still lingered very faintly in the air...
Aatto had only just arrived in this city only moments before. His keen nose had caught to scent of an unusual flower...and being around a lot he had never before scented such a thing. Any kind of flower was rare in this cold climate, it was probably impossible to have any such green beauty planted, so why had he scented such a thing? It was what he came to find out. To find the source of this scent and explain it's existence.
He knelt down on the ledge of the building, his cool gaze staring straight ahead, his mind deep in thought. The cold wind did not bother him as much as it would humans, since he was in fact a wolf, but it was still cold to him. He just didn't have a jacket, but this was one of the things Aatto had learned to endure out in the wild. He never really stayed long in cities, his heart and soul belonging to the wild, though the wild seemed very empty considering the destruction of this world. The 'scent' that had lead him here was stronger now, but he couldn't for the life of him figure out exactly where it was...

(Sorry I wasn't on. Internet not working yesterday, fishing all day today until now. Starting to work on a post :) )
Takai peeked around a corner of a tall concrete building. Its lower stories were covered in layers of dust and soot and grime, along with nearly unintelligible human graffiti. Why had she come to this idiot human city in the first place? What was it called? Something to do with temperature ...cold temperature... Freeze City, that was it. She wrinkled her nose. What kind of name was that? And it was all humans. Like there was nowhere else to go. There wasn't. Not after I caught that scent. What could it be? Nothing, nothing had ever gotten my attention like this scent has.
Humans started shouting in the background, and she could smell human blood and fear. More reasons to hate this place. Before they were out of here, those humans' scents would mess her up. They weren't any good for anyone, especially wolves. And it sounded like those idiots were getting closer. Oh boy. Just what she needed. If they started messing with her, Nocqae would show up in seconds. And Nocqae wasn't a wolf to mess around with when he was mad.
"Hey, there she is!" a human shouted. He and a few others were at the other end of the alley that Takai was, well, hiding in. They all had rifles slung across their backs, most had knives in their belts, and their leader carried a shotgun as well.
"You boys look like a pretty rough group," Takai commented as they walked towards her, eventually surrounding her. Takai's voice went from calm to icy cold. "There something I can help you boys with? Because if not, I really do need to go." She started to walk past them.
"We're going to talk to you, lady," the leader growled, grabbing her arm roughly just below the shoulder. "You better tell us what we want to know."
"I don't think that I know what you want to," Takai retaliated. A wolf shadow flickered across the far end of the alley, and her eyes widened.
"Want to bet?"
"Are you threatening me?" Takai demanded furiously.
"So, you're smart enough to figure that part out, at least," the leader mocked her.
A man about twenty years old stopped at the far end of the alley. His features were hidden by a hooded, floor-length black trench coat. He cast a glance down the alley, pausing when he saw the group and stopping when he noticed Takai.
"Nocqae, no," Takai shouted. Her brother took no notice of her words, running down the alley towards them. One of the humans shot at him, grazing his shoulder. Switching to wolf form, Nocqae attacked the man holding his sister. The other humans fled, not bothering to even give a few parting shots.
Just a minute later, Takai and Nocqae ran out onto a larger street. Cars, people, buildings, flew past them as Takai ran, half-dragging her brother behind her. Humans shouted at them as the two passed, mindless of others. "Hurry up, Nocqae, we've gotta get out of here," Takai said as her brother lagged.
"Uh, just a minute," he gasped, pulling out of her grasp. He fell into an alley, crashing against the wall and onto the ground.
"Nocqae!" Takai cried. "What's wrong?" She knelt by her brother. He switched to wolf form as he began losing consciousness, not fully aware of what he was doing.
"Takai, you gotta go if those guys show up again," he whispered.
"There's no way I'm leaving you," Takai half-shouted. She grabbed her brother and put his arm over her shoulders. "Even if I have to drag you around, you're coming with me!"

Serana stood in a alley, watching as humans walked by. Some stopped and started to yell at each other; but some stopped to hug the other. What is with this place? It's almost like people around you are like, I hate you! Then ten seconds later, I love you! She rolled her eyes and turned down the alley. She could here people yelling a fighting, Serana trudged down the dark alleyway and peered around a corner, seeing some large males cornering and cowering teenager.
The teenager seen Serana, and looked helplessly in her direction. It caught the 'bullies' attention and the turned also. She gasped and was about to turn and run but instead she stopped herself and stepped put from hiding.
"Now what are you boys doing hurting that young man?" she shivered a bit, probably going to get a beating, but she could take it, Maybe.
"What's it to you? And what's a girl like you doing here?" the leader narrowed his eyes as he stepped closer.
Man this guy is tall... Like a dang building! she looked up at the monster of a man "What's it to you?"
"Tell me!" the man shouted as he grabbed hold of Serana, holding her tightly by the hips.
Serana twisted a bit, trying to get out of his grasp, she looked up at the man and lifted her hand, clutching it into a fist. Swinging it across their face. "Don't touch me!" she said backing away as the man let go to hold his face.
The man angrily grabbed her by the arm and threw her towards the others in the group. They grabbed her and held tightly, Serana struggled trying to get loose as the man walked up to her, clinching his fists. "How dare you hit me!" he bellowed. The men holding her threw her at the ground, Serana lifted herself to her knees as they grabbed hold of her again.
Serana blew the hair from her eyes and tried to get up, but she couldn't. "Damn you." she spat, "Now let me go you cowards!" she snapped, struggling more. She turned to the teenager who was in the corner, shaking like a chihuahua. "A little help here?" the boy shook his head and ran, Serana let out a deep sigh and hung her head low. Humans... I guess I got to save myself... If I can, that is.
(Gonna stop here, or this will be so long >.< I honestly thought I would be stumped of what to say, but eh. Also, I changed Serana's profile a bit. Just added another picture to help with her human appearance.))

Aatto's gaze remained over the city, watching the snow fall lightly on top of buildings and listened to the honking of cars. What a noisy place the city was... Why couldn't anyone just slow down and enjoy the scenery now and then? Though perhaps lately there wasn't much to be happy about, with the cold weather and the poor condition the whole Earth seemed to be in...but still. Wasn't it good to just be alive?
Aatto was snapped out of his thoughts at some slight commotion not coming too far away from where he was. Frowning he decided to investigate, so turned and walked along the rooftop of the building he was on, then soon took off at a run. He had grown very used to running in the snow, so knew how to keep from sliding or slipping in it, though if he still wasn't careful then he could still end up slipping and fall. He leaped from rooftop to rooftop, traveling over three buildings before he stopped and peered over the edge of one and looked down into an alley. Below he saw a group of men holding down a female, but he blinked in surprise, for he saw right passed that 'illusion'.
The female was a wolf, though why was she here? In a city of humans? Was the reason the same as his? He shook his head, for now wasn't the time for these questions. For whatever reasons, she was in trouble right now, and he had to help.
The men were pretty big though...and Aatto wasn't the big muscled type. But he had to do something. He sat down then slid his legs over the ledge and began to climb down, making sure to stay out of sight of the people below, then once his feet touched the ground he began looking around. He could drop the illusion and attack those men, but he would give himself away, plus he would prefer not to be so messy and avoid killing. He looked around and saw a loose pipe lying on the ground, so picked it up, weighing it in his hand.
It'll have to do.

I've got it!
Instead of Daichi being with the pack when they go to try and get the Flower Maiden, he decides to stay behind and then when the pack goes to rescue the Flower Maiden the Noble gets in the way -in the process Alith escapes- and after the pack gets out of the building the Noble sends soldiers and the wolves that he/she is controlling after the pack to kill them. Meanwhile, Daichi went to check on Sarah and Hana and while he's talking to them a few of the bad wolves and a soldier find him and attack him and in the process Sarah and Hana get killed, which makes Daichi want to have revenge on the Noble so he joins the pack since it is the best chance he has at running into the Noble.
What do you guys think? Good or bad idea? =D)
Daichi was inwardly humming a tune as he skipped through the crowd of people, ignoring their stares. He always felt happier after seeing Sarah and he didn't know why. Maybe it was her aura? Well, whatever it was he had been wondering lately if he should stay with her permanently. Not as a mate of course, but as a bodyguard or whatever one would call somebody who fetches food.
"What did humans call 'em again...?" he mused. "Sav...survan....?" He shook his head. "Nah. Uh...surven?" As he tried to remember what the word was he passed a teenage boy waving a rolled up paper around.
"Extra, extra! Read all about it! Servant stabs employer for not paying him!"
Daichi stopped and his eyes widened slightly when what the boy said reached his ears. "That's it! Servant!" He continued walking, tail wagging happily as he chuckled, "I wouldn't mind one bit being 'er servant."
Since he was daydreaming about being Sarah's servant he didn't notice the faint scent of a she-wolf as he got closer to the alley where his steak was and even when he passed the spot the she-wolf had been the scent of the steak overpowered that of the she-wolfs.
"Now that I've done my good deed for the day," he paused to plop down in front of the steak and he smacked his lips, "it's time for me ta enjoy my steak!" he said and with that, he dug in.
"So good!" he moaned.

Let's see what I can come up with here.. ))
The wind and snow flew past her face, whipping through the cinder-colored fur as she slunk toward the prey. She was fairly concealed amongst the outcroppings, as her fur was only a bit lighter than the stones, and the gales of the snow storm kept her scent away from her target. The she-wolf paused, ears perked, when the weak deer cried out from the top of the hill, turning his head in all directions as he appeared to search for others of his kind. The stag left a blood trail as he continued trudging through the dense blanket of ice, the red liquid freezing quickly and becoming buried under the falling snow. His right antler had been completely broken off somehow and all that was left was a two-inch, bloody stump in its place.
Saya turned her own head to the right, squinting to spot her camouflaged brother, who was leaping to escape a dent in the earth where the snow had been deeper. The scene amused her - it looked as if he was a mound of snow come to life, born from the ice, with his pure-white pelt - something he had inherited from their mother.
He gave himself a shake when he was free of the depression, then looked over to find his sister watching him though he couldn't make out her expression in the haze. With their distance, he had barely caught her tail signal to charge. The deer was weak enough that they wouldn't have to chase it for long before it tripped or fell from exhaustion.
The sibling wolves picked up their paces, plunging through the snow in strong, hunger-driven bounds. It had been weeks since either of them had had warm meat, and they were not going to let this lucky find escape. Saya snarled as they approached the buck, baring her ready teeth. The white-furred Hiro barked in the thrill as the stag bolted across the top of the foothill. The chase was on.
Then it seemed as though the hill's peak was everlasting. No matter how fast the two wolves ran, the deer was always the same distance ahead of them.
Out of nowhere, thunder cracked. Their prey burst with a great flurry of snowflakes, blending with the snowfall and disappearing before their very eyes.
Saya skidded to a stop, sending snow flying from the ground ahead of her. She stood there, her peridot eyes scanning the surroundings in confusion. Then she turned to look to her brother, but he had vanished as well.
"What? No! Hirooooo!" she howled in dismay, beginning to panic. But her brother was gone, and she was completely alone in the blizzard. She tried to cry out for him again, but no matter how she tried her voice was too weak to be heard even if there was someone else out there to hear her.
"There's no way I'm leaving you," an unknown voice echoed, sounding faint with distance. "Even if I have to drag you around, you're coming with me!"
"Who's there?" called Saya, hoping to get an answer, but with no such luck, as her voice was still too quiet. The she-wolf began running down the hill, but her movements were in slow motion. She became frustrated with her useless actions. "What the hell is this?!" she cried out helplessly.
With the snow turning to sleet and piercing through her thick coat with sharp, pricking stings, a pair of two wide, black, slightly curved lines appeared from the snow before her. Her maw parted slightly in awe, eyes widening nervously as the horizontal lines split in the middle. Soon she found herself staring into giant, fire-colored wolf eyes.
Hiro's eyes.
"Go," boomed his powerful voice, commanding her. The earth began to tremble beneath her paws and before she could find out why she was completely engulfed by an overpowering avalanche.
Saya's head lifted as she woke with a start, panting heavily. Her light green eyes darted around the room as she assessed where she was. A small breeze blew into the area, brushing through her cheek fur. It certainly wasn't mountain air..
A dream... she sighed tiredly. I must have been more exhausted than I thought. The memory of her brother came to mind, causing her to clench her eyes shut as her head drooped weakly. She was all alone in the search now.
Saya had been resting in one of the rooms of an abandoned hotel. It was probably one of the more quality ones in the city before it was shut down for whatever reason. A couple of rats squeaked and scampered audibly inside the air duct, one of them gnawing on the rusty vent in the wall as it searched for an escape. There was no telling how long the rat infestation had been in the building.
The outer wall had once been made completely of glass, but now most of it was gone. Some of the loose shards remained on the balcony, small particles of floating ice falling down to freeze to their surfaces. Being in a dome, it wasn't natural snow, but somehow the humans - more than likely a noble - had invented (or payed someone to invent) a machine to create rain and snow for the inhabitants, just to give them a feeling of normalcy in the dreary state of the world, she supposed.
Another gale burst into the room and ruffled her fur as she gazed out at the city. There was something more than just the musty smell of the city on the air, though. She smelled blood, and it wasn't human blood.
Then she realized what the random thunder in her dream was - it was a gunshot.
In an instant the she-wolf was back to her human form and leaping from the balcony railing to the roof of the neighboring building. Saya ran across to the left side and peered over the edge, spotting them immediately - two wolves. One male, one female; the female had the male's arm draped around her shoulder as she tried to help him.
She frowned - normally she distanced herself from others, but she could not bring herself to leave this pair alone.
Leaping from the roof and landing in the alley, she stood there for a moment to let them see through her human disguise before walking toward them, her low-heeled boots clicking against the pavement.
"Hey," she greeted with a note of worry in her smooth voice. The wolf approached them and carefully placed the male's other arm around her own shoulder. "We can take him up there," she said, pointing to where she had been staying, then glancing around for humans. If the other female accepted her help, Saya would at least be able to help protect the male wolf while he healed (though she doubted that whoever had shot at him would find them again), and then she may be able to get them some food. Just because she was afraid to get close to anyone didn't mean she wanted to see other wolves die.

At first, Takai thought another human was coming after them. Then the scent of wolf hit her, and she relaxed a little. Nocqae would have been literal dead weight for her, but with help she could make it. "Thanks," she said to Saya, only half-looking at her. Even though there wasn't a scent of a pack, one could never be too sure. "If you're a member of a pack, we can't offer much..."

"Ok, i have had enough..." she started to shake, and the grip on her loosened. Serana widened her mouth and chomped down on his arm. The male let go, and Serana backed away from the them. Beside the other wolf. "So, fight or dont fight?" she said to him, her hands where in fists on her side. Although if they attacked she could always just reveal her true form.
One of the males stepped forward and took a swing at her, she loosened her hand and swung it at the fist coming towards her, stopping it from hitting her. "Now, you were not just about to punch a girl, were you?" A sly smile crossed her face and the man backed away.
Serana looked at the men surrounding her. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... There is five! "There are five, we can do this!" she said sarcastically, trying to hold a serious smile.

Aatto grew a bit relieved when the female escaped the men's clutches and came over to join him. At least now she was out of harms way, but these men didn't look like they were going to back off, the look in their eyes clearly telling him that. His hands tightened on the pipe he held as his eyes moved across the men in front of them, calculating their chances and how they could overpower them since the men had muscle on their side.
"So, fight or dont fight?"
Aatto thought over the question the girl asked, trying to debate weither or not it'd be wise to run or stay. If they ran, could they make it to the end of the alley? Their backs would be expose, giving the men the opportunity to grab them, and they would go down. One could always have the other's back, but then it'd be one against the five of them, and they'd be overpowered for sure. They could reveal their true forms, but there are many things that could happen if they did that.
As the men began to advance forward slowly, Aatto came up with a decision and tightened his hands on the pipe. "We fight."
One guy charged forward with a fist raised, but Aatto ducked and struck the pipe hard in his belly, making the man double over and clutch his stomach as he fell to the ground in a federal position. Another man came forward so Aatto whirled around with his leg sticking out, tripping the man as his leg swiped under his legs, and the man fell back to the ground as Aatto stood and swung the pipe at another man's head, and knocked him right out. The man that Aatto struck in the belly began to stand, and came to attack him from behind while another guy came at Aatto from the front. Aatto growled low and lifted the pipe but one of the men at his feet reached up and grabbed it, preventing Aatto from lifting it up. Now he couldn't swing the pipe, and he had two guys coming after him...

Serana's eyes moved back and forth as the men started to get took down easily. Well then, for large guys they are not very strong... The man grabbed hold of his pipe. Serana gasped and looked at both of the men coming at him. I have to do it... She growled and showed her true form- a wolf. Jumping at the one coming from the front she pinned them, growling. She bit there leg so they couldn't walk, jumping at the guy holding the pipe down, she ripped at his leg, making him let go. The first man she attacked grabbed her back leg, she growled and twisted around biting his arm. He let go and Serana hid her form yet again. She turned her head at the two knocked out men. (Im guessing Aatto will get the other guy after him x3) "You ok?"
One of the men started moving again, she sighed and turned around and picked up a rock. Throwing at the guys head. "Im guessing this will give us time to get away, im hoping they dont remember any of this... By the way, i never got your name?" She stepped up to a rock, and sat down hands in her pockets, waiting for an answer.

Seeing as how Daichi won't join up, it won't be likely that the soldiers and their animal companions would target him (and possibly come in contact with Sarah, Hana, or even himself.), why not having Alith interact with Sarah and Hana for several moments? She could lost in the city and interacts with them both that'll get her scent onto them. The scientists would have given the Noble the DNA/scent of the Flower Maiden for tracking and the soldiers would confuse Sarah and Hana for members of the pack that crashed into the laboratory as the scent would lead to them. ]]

Tara adores her brother. She loves him to bits and pieces. She is very protective over him and wants nothing but the best. She has a very controlling personality and is always making sure he will submit to her. But, having a strong personality like her brother, they occasionally clash; but Tara always makes sure they get over it sooner or later. She doesn't like to be alone as well, it makes her feel exposed. Overall, Tara is one big, sassy, rude, cunning, dominant bi--- who loves attention.
History:
Tara and Blake were the first litter out of three, and her parents were both worried about their first litter. Her parents raised Tara and her siblings as well as they could. In total her parents gave birth to six pups, but three were still born. Tara was born alongside her two brothers, Blake and Wyatt. Tara grew up with her brother Blake and her aunt Scerlaice after her parents died. Scerlaice taught Tara and Blake everything they know now. Tara, Blake, and Scerlaice were very close, and when Scerlaice passed away Tara changed. She doesn't have too many friends / allies because of the way she acts, and her old pack knew what Tara went through and stayed with her. She loved every wolf in the pack, but a new wolf came along replaced Tara as Beta, and forced Tara and Blake to leave because they had another form. Now, Tara and Blake can transform into her human form without worrying about anyone seeing / bothering them.

(( Hmm, I'd hate to deny you, since you were applying on the old thread when it was already dead and this one was about to open and because it looks like you put good effort into making the app. I'll accept you under some conditions:
Your wolf picture is unrealistic (no tail, the mane, the markings); I'd like for the wolves to have natural colors and at least somewhat-believeable markings, so if you'd please change that I'd appreciate it much; you can look at the other members' apps for examples ^^
I'm not so sure about the going-crazy-on-full-moon thing - if they were born with rabies from their mom then they wouldn't have survived for very long afterward with the virus in their systems. As a more realistic (for this story's time and setting) alternative, you could say that their pack were subjects in some kind of lab the way my character and her brother were. Then they could have been experimented on and something in the chemicals injected into them could give them chronic rabies-like symptoms, maybe?
Only a suggestion; that's all I could think of if you want to keep the full-moon viciousness. In the original story the wolves and Cheza liked the full moons and at one point felt extremely happy/peaceful during it instead of going blood-thirsty.
I may sound old-fashioned here, but it does kind of bother me that she's 14 years old and has so much knowledge of the opposite sex and how to act sexy to get her way xD I'm not saying you have to change it but just pointing out that it's odd. To me. Just being honest c:
Also, I'm not sure if London and the US even exist in the original story. But I'm gonna let it slide.
Last thing: her human pic, what is that thing on her mouth? It's fine that she has it but I'm just curious.
Urgh, I feel like I'm being a Wolf's Rain-realism Nazi. Sorry, I just want to stick to as much of the original idea as possible. As Soaring stated, I think it'd do ya some good to read the front page to get a feel of the story. Your character is awesome, so if you just think about the things I stated I'd love to accept her :3 ))

((Sorry for being so long everybody, work has been very exhausting XD))
Aatto was very grateful when the female had taken down one of the men that attacked him, but he blinked when she revealed her true form. Oh well, it helped them out a lot, plus by the beatings these men were getting he kind of doubted they'll believe what they saw. While the female took care of the man, Aatto had swung his pipe at the other one, and the guy went down. Sure these guys seemed to be going down pretty easily, but when you're hit in the head by a pipe, well...you surely weren't going to be a 100% fighter either way. He went ahead and took care of anyone else who was still awake and attacking, but soon all of them were pretty much on the ground, so Aatto lowered his pipe and let it drop to the ground.
He looked at the female. "My name? Oh, it's Aatto." He walked over and reached out his right hand, the chain dangling as he smiled. "Nice to meet you. And you are...?"

"So, how many other wolves have you seen around these parts, besides me?" she spoke as she searched the body of the man, finding a wallet. She stood up with it in her hand, and looked inside of it, finding a load of money "Oh my gosh!" she whispered to herself. Serana turned around with it in her hand. "Hungry?" she smiled.

He looked at her and raised an eyebrow when he saw her holding up a ton of cash. "Whoa, nice." He grinned and walked over. "I'm starved, I'm sure these guys won't mind if we 'borrow' it. It's something they deserve." He snickered down at the man who was the leader of the group and tapped his side with his foot, then looked back at Serana. "And no, I haven't seen any other wolves unfortunately... In this city anyway. Just you and me so far. I haven't been in this city for long, just got here. I mainly travel, and in my travels I've seen a few wolves here and there." He answered.
