FH Preset Sync (Upload your presets for public viewing) NOT 1.17 COMPATABLE YET

Sounds awesome, but I'm having a small problem.
I have downloaded everything except the sync, because when I do download it, after I click "Install", an icon appears in my desktop, but no "Secret" or such. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm a little confused you have downloaded everything except sync? When you install sync it pretty much does everything for you. It just runs in the background when you run the game and assuming it doesn't need an update it will just close itself when it's finished. The only thing you have to be aware of is the slight change of folders.

I have it downloaded, it just doesn't do anything. I've never used it before, so maybe I'm missing something, but on your third step where it says "If you received a secret from another device....Standard setup", where you're supposed to insert the secret, that never shows up for me. The " Choose Sync folder " also never shows up.

Have you tried running the Preset sync exe as an administrator?

I got these two messages after updating:

Only at first startup:
"Last-modified header missing" a few times.

When it gets to the cversion part, every time, very quickly:
"Some path leading to a FeralHeart.exe
Access is denied."

Isn't actually an error it has to be shown in order to show what happening seems people don't like the black box that just sits there.

I'll look into the access is denied error.

Hey! I just installed this and it works GREAT I can see everyone's presets except...? it doesn't seem to accept MY presets into it?
in the load up it says

Invalid switch - --Hiro--_1.fhp
Invalid switch - --Hiro--_2.fhp
File Not Found
File Not Found

and my friend who also has the sync says they can't see my preset after they re-log and they get the same error?
Is there a way for me to remove my preset out of the sync to re-try? Because I tried making a whole new preset (had #2, made #1) and even that still wont work.

Yep just restricted usernames that start with - you can just change your username from the userpanel.

A couple users have repeatedly said they weren't able to see my preset, with or without the sync. I've renamed it after I switched usernames and re-exported and re-uploaded it to the sync a couple times. They can see the file in their folders but they are unable to see my preset in-game. Could anyone help me?

If it's with our without sync doesn't sound like a sync issue I suggest you make a thread in the help boards. From what you've said already I would include the code you have used too.
