The community views on starting map (Home position/spawns point)

Redlinelies:
So here's just a rather quick but general question brought upon the community.

In the past in FeralHeart and earlier games (IT), the spawn/home area have been one single shared map in which everyone goes to on default. The last few months FH has been using itself of a separate map in which you do not see any other players. This is mainly to reduce any potential lag for new arrivals.

It's certain that both ways have and up and downsides, but which one does the community prefer?

Ramine:
Yay for ze community.
I'd prefer a new start map, one where everyone could see each other.

I'm going for the community start map thing because it's nice for new players to meet and talk to other new players and make friends, but definitely NOT Bonfire. A larger map (more room, less lag) with more detail and little places to hang out... sort of like your Bonfire, Red. And maybe several places for the user to spawn from... that way lag would not center around one single spot and in a little circle like Bonfire used to.

OR, maybe have an option for users to choose whether to enter the game in a private map like Lonely Cave rather than the default, which would be a community map for new users.

Zaroque:
I'm glad about the changes for the map only where you can see yourself. Theres plenty of other places to socialize in FH, and overall it will become easier if Lonely Cave was kept the same for the less risk on huge mass's of lag.
I'm on a notebook to play FH now, since I find portable the easier option, however, even if there is just a little bit of lag, I cannot even see my character properly. So if  made a new character, and started in the old default map (bonfire), my computer will shut down, and therefore I cannot play moi characters.
I find it better to access the maps too, especially the Ascention Island portal, I couldn't get up there if there was lag.

Community map! When I joined IT it was nice to have people around to ask questions and get a feel for what they were like. Lonely cave is... well.. too lonely for meh xD
