Title: i can't get into the front server, and i've tried everything. [resolved!]

whenever i press log in, it gives me a notification that says "cannot connect to front server". i've tried changing rendering system and excepting it through the firewall, but it's not on the list of things to except on there.

running this on an hp laptop with windows 10.
