What do ye' get when ye' have Vesp stayin' up till the crack of dawn + boredom?

Vesp goin' on YouTube 'n lookin' up parodies of all sorts.

Wanna know what Vesp came across?

These:

Some of the scenes fit so perfectly with the footage provided that it was enough to get me laughin' like a child so I've decided to share.

If ye're uncomfortable with violence and/or a bit of blood, these might not be videos ye'd like to see, even if they may be a parody.

Art Gallery / Vesp drew things.
« on: August 17, 2014, 12:40:25 am »

'Allo, floofs! As of late, I've been hit with a strong muse to draw. Also, due to I've fallen ill over the week, let's just say I had all the more reason to simply draw 'n stay away from most electronics as there were times my head would begin' to throb obnoxiously whenever I looked at a brightly lit computer/Kindle Fire/TV screen. Right now, much to my fortune, my head is feelin' better so I've decided to quickly share with ye' all what this madman's left hand is capable of when it comes to sketchin'.
________________________________________________

The first sketch I've drawn in my sketchbook (granted this is a new one 'n I'm too ashamed of my older works to share 'em with ye' guys) is more so a fanart piece of Kaneki from the animated series Tokyo Ghoul. Nothin' too special 'cept the fact I suck at kanji. I was also too lazy to properly shade this piece so t'is mere lineart right now.

Flip a few pages 'n ye'll find my new(est) character, Yusei Kurosawa. He's a Lutphen I've adopted from WanderBird 'n this is the first time I've sketched him out though it will definitely not be the last time.

Lastly, a piece of my fursona, Vespian, greetin' my brother's fursona, Fox Philosopher. I have yet to shade this piece thus right now it's a somewhat work in progress. T'is a small gift for Fox as we've known each other (yes, in reality too) for years and they've always stuck to my side. Even when I wake up incredibly late 'n find out they've been waitin' for me for 5+ hours on end or when I get myself into trouble, they're almost always there to bail me out. Brothers. What are ye' gonna do?

________________________________________________

I hate to say but for now that's all I will show ye' guys. I'll be sure to update this thread whenever I tweak a piece or have somethin' more to add onto it. My artwork isn't the best out there 'n I still have to improve a butt load so excuse any crap ye' come across, ehheh.

First off, ye' can thank this thread: >>Click here!<< created by Ms. Moony for inspirin' this idea to pop into my head.

Now, we've all heard about the Zodiac signs or the Astronomical signs. However, what about yer Native American Zodiac signs? Since I haven't seen any threads posted about this, I figured I might as well make a little fun thread for all to enjoy. Now, without further a due, the chart:

Other Mods/Creations / Dishonored music mod.
« on: December 24, 2013, 03:18:15 am »

Personally being a fan of the game Dishonored and it's sinister soundtracks that leaves one to feel uneasy and cautious, a while ago I've decided to make myself my own personal music mod to listen to whilst in-game. However now I've decided to make this mod public for other users to hear and enjoy themselves.

Credit goes to Arkane Studios for the music provided.

Music Used:

Dishonored OST - #6 Main Theme
Dishonored OST - #12 Wrenhaven River
Dishonored OST - #19 Regent Exploration
Dishonored OST - #14 Streets Suspense

I might make additional music mods in the future. However thus far, I am uncertain as of now.

Species / The Creux
« on: December 06, 2013, 04:44:23 am »

Whelp, over time I've figured it was time to bring my own creation out of the darkness. This particular species has been my sole-creation for quite some time, around 5 months if my memory perceives me. However, I haven't introduced the species except to my closest friends due to various reasons left unsaid. That is, until now.

____________________________________________________________________________

The Creux

Status
Sad to say, they are not a big family. There are only a handful of them that make up their existence. However, the family is separated by numbers. Those that consist of the inner circle of the family bare the numbers 1-5. Those who are skilled enough to bare a number, either through sheer loyalty, strength, wits, etc. bare the numbers 6-13. Those who do not bare a number, well, they're lucky to even be considered a Creux family member.

Location
So, you want to know where they can be found? Well, anywhere actually. They roam all of the maps in FeralHeart. However, you could say they don't tolerate nor have the patience to be very social when it comes to strangers. They're nomadic, lingering more so on the outskirts of publicity yet close enough to observe for their own entertainment. Often, they'll be dwelling within' the snowy domain of South Pole or the wide open plains of Fluorite. They do own a territory, yet they only lurk within' it when the time is dire or if they wish to be left alone. Thus, they roam often and you won't find them in one particular place for long.

Physical Characteristics
Their appearance isn't what you'd consider normal, as they are not your everyday canid. They bare certain distinctive traits that make them unique within' the family. Their height is considerable, ranging in variety yet they normally stand the same height as the other canids that dwell within' the many lands of FeralHeart.

Their bodies are usually masculine in weight, not being what you'd call sluggish beings. They're known to roam often and prefer to not stick to one particular place for very long. Thus, their muscle mass can be rather noticeable. They tend to be rather lean in size as most of their weight is gathered within' the muscles of their limbs, mainly around the shoulders and flanks. Thus, causes their ribcage to easily show if they are to not eat every few days or so as well as they tend to bestow more agility and stealth than the regular canid.

They bestow long, broad, and rather strong jaw muscles, the skulls they wear on their heads only aid in their bite as they seize their prey like a steel trap. It can be quite difficult for an individual to escape their ravenous grasp as their jaws lock tight onto the muscle, aiming to tear away the flesh from the structure of marrow underneath. Usually, it is their bite that tends to be the most deadly and effective as they are able to chomp down to an exerting pressure of around 1,000 to 20,000 lbs. psi, which is about 6-10 times more pressure than your average wolf bite. Due to their bone-crushing jaws, they are able to shatter the long, hard bones of giraffes and elephants. Which makes them more deadly than your average canid.

The incisors within' their jaws are unnaturally long and hooked like a serpent's. Due to their fang's structure, once they bite down, it becomes near impossible for their prey to escape without tearing off a chunk of their anatomy. This process is caused due to their hooked incisors can easily snag and penetrate the muscle and skin of their victims similar to how a hook does to a fish when a fish bites down on it to get the worm.

They are able to leap between 5 to 14ft as well as most of the time, they are able to land lightly on their paws due to their light-weight and masculine stature. Their eyes tend to be of every shape, size, and color. The most common hues are white, black, yellow, orange, and red. Their eyes tend to flare and illuminate in the dark and shimmer when in the light, giving them the advantage of a great observer. Their overall visional can be considered quite impressive due to the fact their pupils are able to shift in position more rapid than that of a regular canid, giving them the ability to capture, memorize, and decipher every little detail around the province they are in.

When it comes to the length of their pelts, their hide is normally short in length. Since they are nomadic, over time the thickness of their hide will adapt to the environment they mainly linger around. An example being if they are to mainly hang in South Pole, their pelts with gradually adapt to become thicker in order to suppress the nipping chill or if they were to linger more around a sunlit place, like Cape of Distant Worlds, their pelts will gradually become thinner to withstand the heat. Like most canids, the Creux family does bestow manes upon their heads as well as tufts upon their bodies. A Creux can live up to 13 years of age.

A Creux's most distinctive feature would be the skull that makes up either part or the whole of it's head. The skull is considered the heart of the Creux due to if the skull is cracked in any way, seething agony will seer through a Creux's veins in a tormenting manner. As well as if the skull is shattered or taken off completely, the Creux will instantly die. Though doing such a tactic is rather difficult unless the Creux is disabled or weakened.

Colors
The Creux family tends to inherit all the hues of your regular canid when it comes to pelt color. However, their markings as well as their skull can be of any color, even vibrant. Though, usually they are labeled as semi-realistic when it comes to appearances.

Behavior
The Creux tend to be rather hostile and ruthless when it comes to interlopers and strangers. However, they bestow more tolerance when it comes to their family members. Naturally, they all tend to bestow some sort of malice within their personas yet their overall personality is a wide variety.

When they feel threatened, often they won't hesitate in the tendency to cause harm towards the one causing the threat. Yet, some of the Creux have more self-control than others.

The way they communicate can become eerie to those outside of the family for their vocaloids mimics that of a snake's hiss. Always bestowing a spine chilling depiction, similar to a demented whisper, within their howls, yips, growls, and barks. Almost as if the whisper of promising death is tainted into their native tongue.

Mating
The family's mating season is generally held in the month of October. Like other canids, the males will often challenge each other for the right to mate. Though, once a female and a male Creux are paired, they will become mates for life. Generally, those who bestow a number within the family have it easy in the pecking order than those who do not bestow a number.

The females tend to only give birth to small litters of around 1-3 pups each year. The Creux family is known to be able to reproduce with those outside of the family though such an act is quite rare due to their lack of trust towards strangers as well as most outsiders don't often tolerate their hostile personalities.

Even though the Creux is considered a family, they aren't related by blood. They are a banded group of a single species trying to survive in this wretched world of FeralHeart.

Diet
The Creux family tends to consume any morsel they can lay their paws on. Whether it be the usual elk, deer, rabbits, birds, or even other canine/feline species that have trekked a bit too near to the family during one of their hunts. However, they have a strict rule never to perform the act of cannibalism nor the consumption of other canine species unless it is absolutely necessary such as the brink of famine.

Yet, it isn't unusual for sudden attacks upon an outsider to be taking place for the Creux tend to be rather protective of their family as well as their overall identity and will protect what they care for no matter the costs.

Sivaas' Krosis
Chapter 0 - First steps

How long has it been? Weeks? Months? A few hours? Or perhaps.. only a few milliseconds? The echoing screams of panic, the epidemic of encroaching chaos, the confusion, the desperation, the rage, the blood.. all of it buzzing in my head like flies to honey. One sane enough would call it homicide. But we..., we call it survival in a world spiralling out of control far beyond our comprehension.
One might laugh and call this a pathetic attempt but they have not gone through what we've experienced. They have not witnessed what lies beyond their comfy dens and petty gossip. They do not know what it's like to grow up their whole life living in nothing but a tiny dog crate, not knowing when you'll ever see the light of day again...
My name is Creedance Blackwater, Alpha of the Sivaas' Krosis pack, and this is our story.

Eight silhouettes stood out from the bleakened evening that night. Each one possessing a burden veiled behind hushed voices. Their limbs weary, their hopes far from broken, their paws shrouded in the sanguine color of blood. The only thing keeping them going is desperate wishing and an endless search. Yet what they were searching they have yet to find out. Out of the eight, one silhouette wandered alone, not knowing that it would run into the other seven on a later date. The silhouettes that stayed together, out of all seven figures, six of them seemed to follow one that stood out from the rest. Not in color or size, but in confidence and pride alone.
Despite that fact, it would be an undying determination that caused their masses to keep moving deeper and deeper into the wilderness they knew little to nothing about. The wailing ring of sirens deafening their sense of hearing, the cascading rain drenching their pelts only to welcome a bitter chill down to their cores, the disbelief that each one of them felt the minute their paws touched the earth outside of the facility they've escaped from.
It worked. It actually worked. After months of planning such a daring rebellion, finally what they've thought was a lost cause actually came true. But.. how long would such a dream last until it transforms into a nightmare? The answer to that question resided in a future they, at the time, could not see.

A week has passed since that night. Seven days of endless wandering in a territory they both feared yet have been longing for all their lives. Within those seven days, the lone silhouette mentioned before gradually caught up to the rest. At first, distrust was high and tolerance was tested. Yet over time, things settled down for the most part.
On the eight day, the small caravan sauntered onto what seemed like wide, rolling plains with very little shelter to cover them from what might be deemed a threat. At first, they were quite hesitant, unsure if what they were promenading into would furtherly aid in their trek or only worsen their situation.
"Creedance," a gruff voice would call, breaching the silence that loomed over their presence, "I can detect no white-coats here. For now, we are safe." The one who spoke would be no other than Roeth, Creedance's younger brother whom was also seen as the Beta male of the pack. Unlike the others, Roeth was a bulking mass of fortitude and annihilation. His size both in height and muscle tone easily surpassing that of your everyday canis lupus. As his golden eyes locked onto the dark figure belonging to his older kin, Creedance's skull would only pirouette around in order to meet gazes with him before allowing his own bisque-colored eyes to stray elsewhere.
"It matters not," this time it being Creedance who would speak, "for all of this could just be an illusion created by the white-coats. No matter where we go, safety can go from a serene relief to bitter disillusionment in nothing more than a few seconds."
A subtle smirk would toy across the Beta's face. It's been a while since he's last witnessed his kindred so troubled.
"Daar tah dreh lahney."
The words of a foreign language coming from the Beta's mouth even to this day gave Creedance a small sense of reassurance. Thus, it would only be then the realization of how weary his comrades might be. After all, ever since that night, they rarely if ever stopped to catch their breath.
"We'll rest here for the night," he would order after a moment's hesitation. Is this the right thing to do? Will they truly be safe here?
I suppose you win this round, brother.
Around the second the Alpha's order was processed in the minds of the subordinates, multiple bodies would fall with a 'thud' against the earth's vegetation. Their tongues dangling from the edges of their maws in steady panting as at last they could rest their sore paws. One individual however would settle herself quietly on her flanks, allowing her tail to neatly coil over her forepaws. Her pale hazel eyes remaining locked upon the Alpha in silent concern as she too has rarely if ever seen the charcoal-hued male this troubled. It wouldn't take him long to feel the unease of prying eyes, thus noticing her gaze upon him. Instead of questioning or setting it aside, he'd instead tread up to her only to sit as her side. Her dusty-tan pelt flecked in a hue of carmine reminding him of a dove amongst demons and even in a time like this, he couldn't help but bring his muzzle around and nudge her shoulder in the gentlest manner he could muster.
"Creedance..," her fickle, almost angelic voice would barely emit from her maw as nothing more than a whisper. But instead of saying something more, she'd tilt her muzzle up just high enough to playfully nip at the Alpha's ear. However, being one of the smallest canines in the pack, doing something so simple proved to be a challenge.
Unfortunately, Creedance's mind was as aloof as ever to rarely notice his partner's playful attempt. His eyes darting over to a small, beige subordinate who lay blatantly upon the earth. Her golden eyes full of awaiting mischief as she found what little amusement she could fathom watching her tail tap the ground in a rhythmic beat over and over. It was clear that she was bored which surprised the Alpha despite his expression not showing it. How could she be bored? Especially at the risk of such dangers left unknown to them. Then again, unlike they, she wasn't locked away in that facility long at all. She was lucky enough to arrive just when that night was encroaching, only to escape alongside the others. Even still, the white-coats would be looking for her as well, right?
"Requiem."
At his call, the impish subordinate's gaze would leisurely focus in his direction before rising to her full height, being hardly any taller than the Alpha's partner, also known as the Alpha female. Keeping her gaze to him, she would almost innocently saunter over only to peer up to meet his eyes and speak in a tone one would consider impudent, "What is it you want?"
"Follow me, we need to talk. The rest of you stay close to Lady Reika," the Alpha's eyes rivetting just once to his partner who stayed quiet for the most part before allowing his mass to shift away from her side. As he and the subordinate ambled elsewhere, the Alpha known as Reika would allow her gaze to follow the physique of her mate with deep concernity. She hated when he left her side, hated being away from him. Thus, right then and there she found herself fighting the urge to follow him as his outline began to grow hazy the farther he went. Her psychological trauma didn't help things either.
Please come back safe and sound, Creedance. Please... don't leave me alone in this world.
When the two got far enough, away from the prying eyes and ears of the rest of the pack, Creedance's paws would come to an immediate halt only to turn and face the subordinate who obediantly followed close behind.
"I want you to stay close to Lady Reika while I'm gone."
"What for?"
"This land is greatly unknown to us. It wouldn't be safe for you all to trek here not knowing what lies ahead. Therefor, I'm going to scout out the area. If Lady Reika asks, merely inform her that I'm off hunting."
Despite her personal objection to his decision of wandering off alone, the subordinate would give a subtle nod in understanding. He was the Alpha after all. Thus, she wouldn't be surprised if he felt responsible for what the pack might run into. As a result, he wished to wander the premesis alone just incase there was something out there to look out for without leading his comrades directly into immediate danger. They've been through enough as is.
The next thing she knew, she was watching her only Alpha dart couragously into the encroaching darkness as the sun set further and further into the horizon. The night's grip shrouding his pelt into the ominous shadow that, to her, appeared to consume him alive.

"Good luck, you brave fool."

[What you've just read isn't just another fairy tale I've thought up in my head. Oh no. It's actually partial of a roleplay some close friends of mine and I are performing gradually over time. Thus, to keep things interesting, and wanting an opportunity to further practice my skills in literature, I've decided that I'd gather up bits and pieces of the roleplay and transform it into a story one might read in a library. Hopefully my muse in doing all this will hold out, being my only concern. Nevertheless, I thoroughly hope you've enjoyed the tale and as the roleplay goes on, more chapters will be made all in due time. Of course, criticism will be greatly appreciated so feel free to comment if I've messed something up via sentence structure, typo, or if I need to add a bit more detail in the descriptions.]

Ask Vespian.

Saw other individuals doing this for a while so, hey, might as well show what little sociality I have to the community. Feel free to ask me anything, whether it be something utterly random or downright serious, and I'll answer to the best of my capabilities. However, I ask that you refrain from asking me anything a bit too personal. Other than that, ask away.
