Can't log into Play Game Tab or the Game itself, please help!

I am a major veteran from many years ago, came back to try to refresh my nostalgia.

I accepted that my accounts were likely deleted, so I've made a new one instead. Freshly made today.
Upon trying to log into the game (with the new exe file) I am unable to connect to the server.
When I tried to use the Play Game tab, no matter how many times I tried to log in, it just refreshes as though nothing happened.
I know that I was typing my password correctly. Is this a common problem??

Update, the only place it seems to work is on my phone.
I also tried changing browsers, from Chrome to Firefox but it still doesnt work on my computer.
Having it on my phone doesn't seem to help the situation regardless.

update, I'm an idiot, I was using a VPN. Don't use a VPN kids lol.
