Hi there!
I've been working on a map for a while (big: 40k) and every time I click test it crashes the entire game! I had used some collision boxes which made it so that I could only use test once per session (with subsequent tests causing the whole client to crash) but now it just crashes each time. Map maker loads fine!
EDIT: I tried moving my_objects, terrains, textures, the map, etc. into a new version and that didn't fix it. Then I tried to remove the collisions and that did not work either.

Hello! Please check your particles folder in the FeralHeart folder.
FeralHeart > media > particles
See if you have any files that have for example _0 at the end. If there are any, delete them and reload! That is a pretty common fix but it is something that should be checked into if not already. <3

Yeah I checked that. None of the particles have numbers (I think that causes it to crash on game load up).

Okay! Sometimes heightmap issues can cause testing/exporting errors so I do suggest taking a quick read here (https://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6&Itemid=11) and making sure you are following those rules regarding the heightmap. <3

Would height map issues prevent me from loading the map? I can open the map in map editor, just can't run it in test!
-
After some research in older threads - it has been known to be the culprit at times of crashing while loading the map. c: Double check your heightmap!

Even when I've been using test before and it has worked previously? Why would it suddenly have a problem with the height map?
-
That reason being, the map maker is a little buggy. Sometimes it will glitch things out and you will have to reexport the height map and or terrain mask for it to work again.
If that doesn't work, perhaps your computer is having a hard time loading you into the map from your current location. Sometimes having to load everything all at once can overload the system and lead to a crash. Try moving to a far corner of the map, facing away from all the objects, and then try loading it.

Okay, so I re-exported the height map and terrain map (changed the names to random spam) and moved all the way to a far corner of the map and it still crashed automatically.
