Cursor wont move

When the menu screen loads, everything else is fine, the music plays and initially it all works, but when i try to move the cursor it doesn't move, I've looked and i have the icon in my folders, I've tried just starting the game up again, and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, but nothing seems to work. What do i do about this?

try alt tabbing in and out
you may have accidentally clicked out or it's just being fussy

it's in windowed mode right?

I've tried the alt tab thing but it still wont move. ya, its in windowed mode. I don't know what to do about this which really sucks since I've been trying to get on this game for years
