Hello guys. Since SOME people started posting hurtful comments about my warrior game, I am quitting that and starting on my other idea- Midnight Howls! So basically, Midnight Howls is a new wolf RPG in progress lead by me. If you want to know more information, read on.~
Have you ever wanted to play a wolf RPG other than WolfQuest? Do you want to hunt a variety of prey, in a vast and realistic 3D world? If so, 'Midnight Howls' is the game for you! You can customize your character, join a pack, find a mate, have pups, fight NPCs, explore the vast 3D terrain and more! We have it all at MH (Midnight Howls).
Customizing character- When clicking 'New Game', it takes you to customization. You have the choice of either picking a wolf type (Red Wolf, Timber Wolf, Grey Wolf, ect.) and edit the rest of the body (color -REALISTIC-, height, weight, width, tail length, ears, ect.) or, if you want to be original, select from a variety of markings to choose from and edit from there. Before you do all this, you select the character's age, gender (You can be a young wolf but not a pup. Reasons for this is because if you choose to be a lone wolf, you can't be a pup walking around the terrain.) and name. Once you are done you are free to enter the world of MH!
Aging- Yes, your character can age in this game. 12 hours is 2 days, which means 6 hours is 1 day. There will also be a bar on either the top or bottom of the screen (still deciding) displaying your health and in-game time. Aging times are still being decided.
Mating/Birthing- Yes, this game WILL have a mating/birthing system. I you are immature about it, we will remove this feature. To mate, click on your partner and a message in the middle of the game will say 'Do you wish to mate?'. You can either click yes or no. If you click 'Yes.', then it will say 'Are you sure?' and again it will say 'Yes.' or 'No.' beneath. If you click 'Yes.' again, then the screen will blackout and a red heart with a picture of a wolf howling will show up on the screen for a few seconds, and if you a female wolf it will say 'Congratulations! You are pregnant. You will give birth in _ weeks/days.' If you are a male wolf it will say 'Congratulations! Your partner is pregnant. She will give birth in _ weeks/days.' (Still deciding on the system.)
NPCs- Yes, there will be NPCs in this game. But instead of just standing in one spot like WQ, they will actually be moving around. If you are in another pack's territory, one guard wolf will chase you. You can either flee or fight. Your choice. There will also be lone wolves that will randomly spawn around the map.
Maps- There will only be one very large map containing neutral territories, herds, meadows, packs, small cabins scattered about, rendezvous sites, and more. There will realistic graphics so it will give your the full experience.
Packs- You can either start your own pack or join one of the 3 residing somewhere in the map. If you choose to start your own pack, you must have a mate and you have to find a neutral territory in which your pack will stay. If you choose to join a pack, you will have to fight a wolf of the same gender and win. Only then will you be accepted.

You might want to look up some guides on youtube. If you plan on making a game, you need to know about codeing.

Really like the idea and have applied for job positions. I think you should defiantly add in multiplayer, with friends you could start your own pack and have mates but this will be under careful watch depending on the age range.

I am glad you think so. I am still debating whether we should add in Multiplayer. If we do, I'd rather add it in later game updates.

Yeah, start it off as single player and if it gets a fair amount of attention and others do want multiplayer we can add it in then.

Guys, this game is about to die. Well, the forum. There are no members to support, and only staff. We only have about 3 members, and the rest are part of the staff team. I know the forum isn't much, but one of my staff is going to code the site soon. The game can't keep going with an empty community.... So please, consider signing up? It would help A LOT.
I also want to mention that we have events every so often! We have a banner contest that ends tomorrow, and a referral contest, too. I plan on doing other events, but that is only if we get more members.

Looks interesting. Don't worry about the people who give you hurtful comments. They are just being rude, for the sake of being rude. Unless, they are being brutally honest about your project. Then you may want to listen. I could make advertisement banners, if needed?

Now, this is quite lovely! I wish you the greatest luck on your game, because it looks really interesting.

Also, I think multiplayer would be a good idea, it should bring more players into the game. I enjoy being able to interact with others, I sometimes get a bit bored after awhile when doing something without someone to do it with.
But, it's your game, but I'll be happy to help you with whatever you need!
