Title: Issues with some images in the header thing
Post by: Kyugima on November 02, 2011, 01:58:02 am
Hey, I know I'm supposed to be one of the ones helping people out with their issues, but now I have one, and I was just curious if it was just me or if the actual image itself is mucking up.

I noticed as i flicked through forum pages that there are 2 images that are mucking up. The other images work fine, absolutely normal, as far as I have seen, but something is going on with these two. The same issue each time, but the issue is different between images, if you understand? I have a screen shot of one of the images, I will have to look for the other so I can take a screenshot of that.

If this was a one of thing I wouldn't bother making a thread, but I have noticed it everytime those images show up, so I just wondered what was happening...

That image always looks like that now, it only started doing this today though.

And here is teh other image, I finally found it. This image also always looks like this starting from earlier today.

Hmmm, this image isn't clear on showiung the issue because it has been shrunk, here is a direct link so you can see the issue better. http://oi41BannedImageSite/244s2uo.jpg (http://oi41BannedImageSite/244s2uo.jpg)

I just have IE, but I have considered switching to something else. The main issue is that I actually have no clue how to work other browsers, so I always get frustrated when i try and give up and just don't use them. That, and as the images show, I have a lot in my favorites, and I wouldn't know how to get to them through other browsers and such.
I'm not really willing to switch browsers just for images. I was mostly just wondering if anyone else has the same issue with these two images, and what might be going on with them.
Although, if it was browser based, wouldn't ALL images be like those, not just those two?

the second picture seems to have a problem i like to call the ghost effect (part of or the whole image being multiplied however it's somewhat transparent)

i've had a problem like this before but i'm not sure what caused it. however it seemed to go away after time, i'm not sure if that will happen with you but it might. either try restarting your browser or whole computer.

sorry if this doesn't work but i'm just trying to help/ multitask (i have a lot of windows up 0_0)

Hmmm... I'll try closing FH then coming back on. If that doesn't work then I might close IE entirely and restart, but I would prefer not to, I have a few things I am doing right now XD Thanks for trying to help though.

That has... never happened to me. LOL.
Might try switching internet browsers as Alex suggested, Kyu. I know Firefox (my love<3) is very simple, easy to use, and has a feature that allows you to transfer favorites and bookmarks from IE. Best of luck fixing your little image crisis. XD

I'd also recommend Firefox...

Hmmm... I might download it, but firefox is one of the browsers I throw my hands up at all the time, irritates me to no end XDDDD I'd probably get used to it eventually though... Dunno... I'm just so used to my IE.
