Discussion Board / Recommend any Recipes?
« on: December 21, 2018, 10:35:52 am »
I enjoy cooking interesting things and wanted to know if there were any good recipes anyone recommends for a dinner? Or anything really - dinner is just my go-to theme. I really like my steaks and meaty things 8) Or even a good ribs recipe, I can't find one that really suits me for some reason, I love ribs but most recipes are weird :c

Game Help / (Fixed) FeralHeart .blend Files for animation
« on: December 16, 2018, 12:37:53 am »
Hello! I'm currently looking for the .blend files of the FeralHeart models. Primarily canine, though both would be great!

The ones hosted on the KITO forums are missing actions on both canine and feline, and I cannot figure out what's missing and thought it'd be easier to be PM'd a link to some fixed versions that have all the actions already. I've added Call1, CurlIdle, CurlTransit, Stretch, Dance1, Dance2, Dance3 but it continues to crash.

I'd prefer if it was the default animations though if they already have custom ones then that'll work too. Thank you everyone in advance! Hopefully I can snagged fixed models dfgkjgdffdj

HEY NY'ALL   8) 8) 8) (this is so messy LOL forgive me)
It's a pleasure that you've found some interest to learn about me, however I've never been skilled at writing about myself without being really simple and vague but I've been skimming through some bios to get an idea of what to talk about.

I've been on and off FeralHeart since 2011, however my first account has since been deleted due to inactivity and so I reside on this one. Much to my dismay, I was rather young and strange and so I have a bit of a strange history in my forum posts LOL got all my old phases marked down in history. I spent a lot of my time on FH roleplaying in groups like 'The Incredible Valley', and a few Warriors related ones. I'd occasionally make presets and fiddle with the preset codes but I never made anything that was significantly unique until recently.

After I returned from a rather long hiatus, I felt mildly unsatisfied with a few things in the game, the emotes, textures, animations, graphics, etc. and let this spite fuel my motivation to create new textures, new emotes, and even a new ENB. I am hoping to figure out how to fiddle with the models and animations in future to overhaul them too but alas my efforts are futile.

ANYWAY lets see here.. FeralHeart has actually taught me a lot of neat little tricks that have gotten me into graphics designs and a 3D modelling course, I'm currently a volunteer game designer for Impressive World and am creating textures for various models over there, should totally check it out 8).

My interests aren't immensely specific, I enjoy a variety of topics but it's not enough for me to invest too much time in. I do have a key few that are always in the back of my mind though!

Interests
  • Norse Mythology ❤
  • Animal Behaviour + Biology
  • Animal/Fantasy related games
  • God of War : Detroit: Become Human : The Isle
  • Strong Flavours, Salt (I salt my toast)
  • COLD WEATHER omg I adore the snow, it snows up over here in australia

I struggle so hard with finding good animal related games, there seriously is a huge lack of games with high quality graphics/animations and hot animals that you can play as. I'm relying on modding Fallout 4 and Skyrim for my animal game needs :rage:

Game Help / FeralHeart Animations
« on: October 20, 2018, 06:28:15 am »
Hello, Recently I've had an interest in trying to reanimate a few things in FeralHeart however Jayfeather's tutorial has an issue. Blender Exporter is no longer up. Does anyone have either an updated tutorial, source or anything like that at hand?

Other Mods/Creations / Light Fantasy Podium
« on: July 20, 2018, 03:11:37 pm »
Hello! I've created a podium recently that's loosely based off the original podium with a light fantasy theme to it, it uses default meshes only and should be easily installed by placing the extracted file (the fhPodium.fhm) in FeralHeart\media\terrains\fhmaps. It's not over the top, very simple, but I hope it suits!

Please let me know if this doesn't work correctly. I'm not sure if I left out any required files.

Presets & Markings Tutorials / Preset Techniques
« on: July 16, 2018, 02:23:38 pm »
Hello! I'm Connor, and I'm going to try my best to explain a few tricks I have for preset making.

Preset making can be a rather tedious process when it comes to working with gradients of any kind, this is because of the way the UV maps wrap around the model itself and how they have been cut apart. When making a preset, it is highly recommended that you use the UV Map references to help assist with keeping accurate to the model, this can be found in FeralHeart\my_presets\reference. Now that I've explained this, we can get into a few techniques I use to help me with figuring out how the UV map works.

Note: I've hidden the images under spoiler tags to avoid cluttering

Color Coding
By adding a layer above the UV and colouring the triangles loosely, I can create a reasonable reference that allows me to see how each part connects and where to. You can also do this to the back of the UV map to see where the back of the legs work.

ALT. Color Coding
This is another way of figuring out how the UV wraps around the model, though I feel as if the first one I previewed is more accurate and helps figure out the form of things easier.

Blurring
What I did here was select the individual shells (squares/triangles) in the UV map and increase my selection, alternate to another layer and fill it in before saving it as a PSD file and opening it in photoshop. From here, I seleted and auto-blur option that ensured all the blurring would be even. You can find the blurring options in Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur on photoshop.

Discussion Board / Cursed Images
« on: July 16, 2018, 12:50:52 pm »
After spending some time discussing this in local, me and a few others decided that a cursed image thread is due to be made.
Come on now, share your cursed images, and make sure they abide by the forum rules, I know cursed images can get dark

Cursed images are basically obscure and unusual images, if you were unsure.
Oh and, let's hope this thread doesn't break any guidelines, would be a shame to see the cursed images locked
