FH to IT Feline textures v.1.1

This is just a modification on the FH textures. It might looses the realism and looks slightly like IT. But I prefer this much more. It doesn't change anything major in the game. Just some character textures. Just run the .exe and unless you installed FH in some other place than C:\. It should just be to extract, overwrite (Yes to all). Just remember to make a copy of your texture folder if you are unsure if you'd like it. That way you wouldn't need to reinstall the game.

V1.1 Fixes, No main fur color line on the chest, darker paw pads, spot on the ear removed, no longer any bright area on the forehead for characters with bright underfur.

ENB Mod For FeralHeart

ENB mod for FeralHeart works like a graphic enhancer. It will give your visuals a touch of bloom and more saturation making it feel more lively and sunsets and distant landscape more pretty. Just take note that I didn't create this mod myself, I just modified it so it would work with FH. The mod might make your game perform a little slower however. All you need to to is to download the files and place them into the FeralHeart Directory. Run the game, and press (Shitft + F12) and the mod is on. Just remember to put the rendering mode to Direct3D9 inside the game. Otherwise this wont work.

FeralHeart Cinema Map v1.1

Here's the first version up for download of the cinema map. It's a public map and anyone is free to join whenever they feel like it, keep in mind though that no movies are played inside the actual map, it's used as a setting for the movie nights we have every now and then in the community. The movies are usually played within someones Live,stream.

Feralcity is a very city/townlike map with lots of things to explore and discover, It also have the FeralHeart cinema linked directly to the main map itself and has plenty of space for users to move around in, downloads in both .exe and .zip can be acquired if wanted.

(PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING)
This map includes lots of objects in various sizes which also means it requires a lot of computer power to run well. I advise everyone who plays this map for the first time to lower your graphic settings until you're sure your computer can cope the load from the map. For some it might take a few tries before you are able to actually enter the map as well. Download at own risk.

Yeah. This is just a modification of your textures. Which means no one else will be annoyed if you changed it. Only those who wants see it this way will have it.

To delete some that you have, just open up exports and remove the names of the maps that you no longer want- Unless they are maps that you have made- if thats the case, open up feralheart>media>terrains and delete or remove the folder with the names of the maps you wish to remove, then scroll down and find the names of the maps terrain and delete or remove it as well. the voila! Hope this isnt too confusing, XD

Fixed a download for the map pack, so now mac users and others with antivirus programs complaining about false threats be able download the maps anyway. Also fixed the broken image in the middle of the page for the texture mod.

There's some material files needed for the IT objects though which isn't included in the zip, so those installing with the zip will see some white objects in the maps.

The download is working fine, and it works to install it fine if done correctly. The only thing that doesn't work as it should is that some ferns show up with basewhite in the maps, but that's all.

Make sure you do the following that is a MUST
-Unzip the zipped folder before pasting the content from it into your FH folder
-Read the readme and paste the files into the correct folder
-Restart the game if it was running as you installed the maps

I tried dowloading the map pack, but by the time I went to the portal to The Grounds, the "Cannot Connect to Map Server" issue won't stop popping up and now, I fear that my character is stuck. This is how the downloading went:

1: I clicked the link and the download started
2: When it was done there, I clicked it to open it
3: The installation automatically started
4: I went to my charry, then the Cape, and tried to enter the Grounds portal, and the message kept appearing

Did my computer screw up the download or did I make a mistake? Please help. I was so stupid, I sent my beloved signature charry in, and he is stuck DX

Map might get stuck every once in a while like any other map in the game, and in that case anyone that tries to enter it will face the "Failed to connect to map server" message. This is resolved by a server restart which is not done too often unless necessary.

Note: dont use your best char and go into the map, first make a test preset then try it. Then your char wont get stuck :)

First off, do not double post please.

Map pack is safe. There's been plenty of users playing this map pack both before and after the December patches(close to 3000 users). Scanned with AVG and Avast before upload. I'd check your antivirus, Norton for example is one of the less good once that give false threats a lot.

I have Norton and it wouldn't let me download it, so I turned it off. That's all you gotta do, then just turn it back on after it's installed :p

The ENB mod looks great, Red! I love how it darkens the screen slightly so it looks more realistic. Unfortunatly for me, it's kinda laggy. Still, it's very easy to install and use. Thankies! ^-^

The regular way is to follow the path to the left across the grounds, it leads you to crossways tunnels. There's a tiny cave entrance in the corner of the grounds map behind some savannah trees.

In which from there you can reach, trench, ocean, and sundownvalley.

Merp. I downloaded the map pack last night and then turned off my cp. I looked for the files today and couldn't find them, so I downloaded it again. Then Norton deleted it. D:

Has anyone else gotten this problem? The file it said was a threat was " WS.Reputation.1 ".

Norton is the master on giving false threats.

You must turn it off in order to install the maps since it complains about the installer not having an license it can recognize.

I'm not sure this is the correct place to post these questions.

But if you mean item items, then you paste all the files into C:\FeralHeart\media\items

and you paste the items.cfg file into C:\FeralHeart and the replace it with the old one.

If you just get text doc with a code, you open this item.cfg that already exist in the game folder with notepad, then paste the text code in at the bottom and save the file.

If you still need more help, I'd advise you to create a help thread in the help boards.

There's now a slightly updated version of the FH-IT texture mod that sorts some of the tiny mistakes.

If you already haff the old one installed I'd advice you to get the new one, much betterzz.

Red, your maps & other things are excellent & you have a great talent at making these things, please don't ever stop making them!

Design & Technique: You'll always think about what to make before you've started on it. You don't just put things in random spots to make it look cool, you put things in random spots and say "Yeah, that looks good here!". (10/10)

Redownload the installer again, make sure you install it into the correct folder, especially if you do not use the standard path for the game.

That's really all you can do since the installer does work properly, and the only thing that would cause this not to work would be a broken installer(sorted by redownload), or that you installed it to the wrong location.

When you download maps, all of the portals leading to them are always in Cape. For this one, the portal will be called, 'The Grounds'.

Hmm when I try to go to the map called "Ocean" it always say "Failed to connect to map server" every time I go there so I sorta lost a character on that map... even for my friend she lost a character there too. :/ just thought I'd let you know.

Nothing I can do about that since it's the game/server that likes to mess around with map processes.

If users run in and out of the maps leaving the empty, then occupying them again after a wait, these maps need to start up over and over, and everytime it does so it's more likely it gets stuck compared to an official map that has online users all the time. Whenever there's a server restart you should be able to fetch your characters again.

Download is working fine for others though so it might be the amount of objects in that map that your computer doesn't like.

My suggestion to your would be lower all the game graphics to lowest, go into the map and do not click anything or move anything for a longer while as it loads the map and it should load just fine.

If still no success try to download the installer again and then install with the new one, if still no luck it probably will not work xD

The FeralHeart Cinema was completely creative, and now I have something to look forward to other than the usual roleplaying on those certain nights x3.

And the FeralCity is the best city map I've seen so far,  It isn't dark or scary like some city that's been invaded by zombies or whatever, it's colourful and friendly and welcoming =D

As for your map pack, it's based off of Impressive Title, correct? I find it amazing how you made such a detailed map pack from simple plant, tree, rock, and other meshes. X3 Sooo much to look for in each map~ =DD

Your 'cartoonish' feline texture is more or less the exact definition of awsome in the form of a sauce, I just luuurve the cartoonish look on my characters, makes me feel more like this is Impressive Title.

ENB mod is simply- pretty @.@ It makes things seem more alive.

I think I've listed all there is to like about your awsomesauce maps and mods, I shall nuzzle you 5 times for these awsome things! x3

Maybe im just being incompetent or.... i dont know.... But it appears I am having issues with downloading the FH to IT texture.... I'm just getting these weird dowloaders and after they install, ... nothing happens... The first one i got was iLivid and the second was addf.ly... Any idea on what happened?

The download is an .exe file like any other software you install on a windows computer. If you use another OS like Mac OS or linux this might be the reason why. If you do use windows however, you are doing something wrong, since it's just do download, run the installer, check the install path. And you are set.

Make a simple youtube search or google search "How to turn off norton (your version) antivirus", and you should get plenty of results.

If not, most antivirus software should have a temporary off function somewhere in the preferences if you right click the icon in the right bottom corner and work your way through the menus.

FH to IT Feline textures v.1.1

This is just a modification on the FH textures. It might looses the realism and looks slightly like IT. But I prefer this much more. It doesn't change anything major in the game. Just some character textures. Just run the .exe and unless you installed FH in some other place than C:\. It should just be to extract, overwrite (Yes to all). Just remember to make a copy of your texture folder if you are unsure if you'd like it. That way you wouldn't need to reinstall the game.

V1.1 Fixes, No main fur color line on the chest, darker paw pads, spot on the ear removed, no longer any bright area on the forehead for characters with bright underfur.

ENB Mod For FeralHeart

ENB mod for FeralHeart works like a graphic enhancer. It will give your visuals a touch of bloom and more saturation making it feel more lively and sunsets and distant landscape more pretty. Just take note that I didn't create this mod myself, I just modified it so it would work with FH. The mod might make your game perform a little slower however. All you need to to is to download the files and place them into the FeralHeart Directory. Run the game, and press (Shitft + F12) and the mod is on. Just remember to put the rendering mode to Direct3D9 inside the game. Otherwise this wont work.

Get rid of norton antivirus and get something better lol.

It's a false threat and you need to disable your antivirus in order for you to be able to download and install it. But you can always download the mac version since it's a zip and install it all by yourself. Fun enough though it's the exact same thing as the installer but the crappy antiviruses do not mind that.

And no, some antivirus software give out false threats since they cannot find the license for the exe files. Why exactly would I want to give out a download link containing viruses. Another question is, wouldn't this mean hundreds of players would've gotten infected by viruses long ago in that case from downloading my stuffz?

The files are clean, and my guesses is that you are using norton since it gives out false virus threats 24/7 xD

xD Maps like these are timeless, it's always a good time to derp around in them. They sometimes feel like extensions to the default maps, even... Only with much more detail, which the previously mentioned maps seem to lack (though that's probably for a reason).

The FH IT pack isn't letting me download.
Its popped up with a red bar at the bottom saying "it is not commonly dowloaded and could harm your computer".
I don't know if this is something to do with the download or my computer....

Red, I love the ENB mod. It makes everything so pretty and realistic looking, but it makes me lag even in character creator. Is there anything I can do to help with that? I tried editing the code, but failed.

The blue button, and it works fine for me. It's probably being blocked by a popup blocker or such. May I ask, what browser are you using? Due to the nature of the situation, I'm going to assume you're using IE... If you are, usually that red bar shows after the download completes, so the file might already be lurking in your Downloads folder. Worth a check.

If so, what happens in the game? Do all my characters automatically change into that kind of texture?

Sometimes it can be just loading the map itselfs that hinders the signs from showing, and you need to restart the game, load the map again a few times.

When you say "back up", do you mean make a copy of the textures file in the media, so I can still keep everything if I don't like the IT. And if I put the IT in the "copied" version of the textures, do I have to delete everything in the copied version, or will it make no difference?

I know it's possible because I've seen Wolffox's character have that texture.

Thanks, good to know that. But I don't think I'm gonna bother editing the canine textures cause I usually end up messing things up. It wasn't a big deal, I'm happy with the feline texture so far. :)

I added a gallery/download for free to use heightmaps done by moi. Plans on updating it more in the future, it's not really something extremely impressive but it's meant to be there for either.

a. Users about to make a quick private roleplay and want to get a quickstart on a roleplay map.

Important information for floofs that hasn't read/looked around the site that muchies:

Log into the yellow box next to the banner. It lets you reset any characters position on your account, just go into "Reset character" and it will be self explanatory I believe.

When a character get stuck in a map, it's due to the map process itself not working as it should,  which means anyone on the whole of FH that tries to connect to the same map will face the same fate. This is a thing that can happen quite often, especially for more used custom maps since they keep getting started as soon as players join it, or shut down after players left it. Going up and down constantly increases chances of a map getting stuck. In order for it to work again it usually requires a whole server restart which we do once in a while.

I don't mean to bother, but, when you install it, does it install the maps right into the FeralHeart file? Because a friend of mine downloaded the Sundown Valley map pack and it's not showing up in cape of distant worlds.

You are not installing the maps properly.

The download is either an .exe or .zip.

The .exe installs the maps to C:\FeralHeart by standard, if it doesn't work then "you" changed where the game was installed, and in that case "you" must correct the original install path.

The .zip is an archive of the files and "you" yourself must install the maps into the game folders, I did include instructions inside of the zip archive of how you install the mods and maps.

Always double check how you install the maps since if you do it the wrong way the game will not find the maps.

The Litterbox is a Map hidden within Feral City. That might be why you can't find it. xD
Hmm..I haven't had that problem with the Textures..

The textures don't show up on the flags and billboards, and the little sign on top of the cafe is misplaced some how. I re-downloaded with the .exe and put the stuff in exports. The maps are Feralcity, nearly forgot to mention. The cinema and litterbox thing are OK, but feralcity's billboards aren't showing up, and the billboard on top of the cafe is misplaced some how..
Should I install the map again? because no matter what, the pictures on the billboards and flags aren't showing up.

Sorry about the site, I had to install some updates and turned off the server, forgot to turn it back online again.

Now when it comes to the Feralcity map things like flags and billboards should show up just fine, the only known issue is that sometimes certain images can disappear into the mesh it's placed upon, not sure why but the only guess I'm having is that the image is placed to close to a mesh. However this occurs at random and can happen for everyone so I'm wondering if it has something to do with the loading of a map inside of the game.

However if you are actually missing the stuff and never getting them to show up, it could have to do with your installer that you need to re-download again.

But I myself, usually just need to reconnect to the map a few times and the few images that wont work start working again if they actually don't appear. Nothing wrong with the installer itself though.

I love these! my favorites are Feralheart Cinema and feralcity i was in one of you're streams in feralheart cinema before but when you went into feralcity i did too but.. eventually it didn't work.. it was loading and it had errors i kept trying like 10 times and i gave up.. so just letting you know :)

Two: Select "Character Reset".
Three: Log in at the thing.
Four: Select the character you've lost.
Five: Select "Reset home", Then "Go home".

I know I'm not Red, but I think I can help.
So in FH, the mane/tuft texture is shared between feline and canine models. Because of that, when using the IT Feline Texture mod, it'll also affect the manes of canines. There's not a definite way to fix it, from what I know at least, the only way is to keep the original mane texture file.
Of course, by doing this, the feline models will have the mane texture back on them, but the canine models won't look so awkward once they have their original textures back. Although, if you really want to keep the IT texture but also want the canine texture to match, I would gladly make a new canine texture that looks similar to Red's IT Feline Texture for you.

Sorry if I made that more confusing than it needed to be. ^^'

Yes, my stupid Norton also says its not safe. I wish Red could fix this. Maybe make just a download and we can just put the maps in Exports ourselves. Couldn't be /that/ hard. Could it..?

so i have look up maps like all different kinds like just pertend like so i am on deavinart and i scearhch up feralheart maps and like theres some that i may like that i want to download whould i have to come here like onto feralheart.com and scearch the map name and download it here or  just download it on dwavinart i hope someone can  anwser my questions i have a few thanks p.s sorry i am new to this game lol so yea but thanks if you can help i love the game!!! :p :D

((Credit ALWAYS given)) I am in the middle of making a large map pack for my new pack, Divine Legacy, and everyone is wanting to use maps instead of FP, SP, etc. Of course, we will NOT claim territory, for this is your map that you made public, and it isn't right. We just need somewhere quiet, that isn't clustered and not filled with trolls. If not, I completely understand. Thank you for your time.

Any of my public maps may be used for grouped roleplays as long as no map claiming takes place, and that it's clear that any other player have just the same rights to be in the maps or even certain areas as the ones hosting the roleplay.

If that's all fine and dandy it's just to go ahead and use the maps for whatever roleplay that comes in mind.

Everytime I try to click the download link it brings me to some random site >.< I've already tried the auto-installer but they never work on my computer. Would it be possible for me to get the manual link for downloading the map?

At the top there should be a thing called "Skip Ad" and it count's down from like 5 seconds. The random site pop's up when you download something. I hope this helped <3

Hey guys, I just want to make sure of something. For the Feral City, well, how was it on your computer? I've had my computer since Christmas, so it's still in good condition, but I just don't want to download Feral City and make my laptop start lagging or something. If a computer older than mine can handle it, I'll download it. Just making sure first ;3; I already downloaded the Cinema and other maps.

Also, for the other maps, I can't seem to find any of them aside from 'The Grounds.' but it says they downloaded. Can I find the other maps in The Grounds?

You don't have to download all of them :3 However, Feral Cinema connects to Feral City, so I'd download that, too. The other maps are really good too, however they're really laggy, especially on old computers. Some people can't get into them because of that. It works on my computer, though.

Thread is more than 5 years old and no one has been here to edit the links sadly.

My website died when I took apart my server so I doubt the links will start working, I might have a mediafire account laying around with the downloads though so if I remember it I'll look into it and fix them so people can still download my old junk xD
