Title: Cyanide Sunshine [Inactive since 06/01/2013]
Post by: xXKitsuneNinjaXx on October 12, 2012, 12:19:25 am
WARNING: GORE-DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU
This much gore is actually downsized from what I had first intended =3='

The victim lay on the floor motionless, blood splattered across the room, and a number of his organs. Really, this one had put up quite a fight. Luckily, you weren't the one who had to clean up the mess, and you were thankful of that. You clutched your blade, drenched in blood, then hesitantly sheathed it.

'Wash yourself off,' you told yourself in your head. 'And you'd better get out of here before someone sees you.'

Well, no problem with that. You were trained to do this sort of thing. Besides, you had a pretty good alibi...

Sometimes you wonder what you've gotten yourself into, joining this cult. Or had it even been your choice? Whatever the reason, there's no backing out now.

~~~~~~~~~
You are part of an organisation called Phenomenon-you'll find out what that stands for later. Your job is to rid the world of useless humans, to control the population, and essentially make the world a better place. Well, that would be your motive if you joined, oh, about 100 years ago. Now you're basically the Dark Brotherhood. You carry out assassinations, for a fee. You and your fellow Siblings.
There is something special about the members here, though. Strange things have been happening, ominous dreams. Weird abilities are being shown, such as suddenly being able to lift a car, or growing fangs, or levitating in the air, something fishy is going on. On top of this, no one remembers how they joined, when they joined, or what their life was like before they joined.
However, you can't leave. There's nothing stopping you, but it's just something you CAN'T do.
Besides being a psychopath organisation, you, like the Dark Brotherhood, are like a family to each. You are all closer than many real siblings.
So, welcome to Phenomenon. You are one of us now.
Rules
~~~~~~~~

-No god-modding, power-playing, or Mary Sue-ing
-Maintain your bonds
-Hate the character, not the roleplayer
-Not too much OoC Chat. If needed, I'll make an extra thread or tinychat.
-Be original, keep things going and active
-Be literate, and keep the posts at least a paragraph long.
-Have fun!!
-If you read the rules, put Cyanide Sunshine as your code name ;3

~~~~
Code of the Phenomenon
-No harming the other members in a mortal way. You can get into scrapes all you want, but no malicious acts.
-No treason. Seriously, we'll kill you if you even THINK about it.
-No rapists. Ok, we're killers, not pedos or rapists.
-Alcohol and drugs are allowed, just no poisoning the rest of us, mm'kay?
-Petty Thievery is allowed, just not from the cult members. And no taking our sheets home!
-Everyone has to do laundry. Yes, that means you-it's a cycle. Unless you don't sleep here, which you probably do.
-Don't talk about the Phenomenon Cult. No, seriously, you don't go around telling other people you're a murderer.
-Age doesn't matter. If you're commissioned to kill a child, no complaints.
-Never question someone's reason for a killing. It's none of your business.
-Do not show your true identity to commissioners.
-If you are comissioned to kill a cult member, then you are permitted to kill the customer
-Do not kill your comissioner...until after they've paid you. Then you can do whatever you like (besides rape).
((Half of these were just jokes, so I won't hold you to them. >.> 'Cept for the laundry bit.))
(http://www.meh.ro/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/meh.ro5854.png)
Name: Layce, but her new name is Scythe.
Codename: Cyanide Sunshine (Cyanide)
Age: 11
Gender: Female
History: Ever since she was a girl she was different, she went through stages where she believed with all her might she was a wolf, or a fox, or a cat, or some animal. She's believed she was demon, since she knows that many classify her as evil, as devil's spawn. No one likes her, but are too afraid to tell her off, and she resents that. She hallucinates often, and has seen a therapist multiple times from her 'm-shifting' and 'p-shifting' experience, which she swears are real. Sometimes she runs out into the off-limits woods, but she was arrested and stayed in juvenile for a day. Another time she stayed in juvie for a week for beating up a bunch of people in gym for calling her a number of unmentionable names. Another time she came close to murdering someone for picking a fight, but it was stopped before she beat him senseless. She stayed in juvie for a while after that, and went to her therapist everyday. Scythe knows her parents don't love her, at least not anymore. Or they're scared of her.
Personality: Very bored of life, searching for some excitement. Used to be quiet, and constantly portrays animal-like characteristics, such as growling, biting or going digigrade. She's always believed she was something more than human, and if she was human, she's not normal. A lot of people shun her, and find her creepy, if not a bit scary. However, Scythe does have friends. However, she receives no respect, and gets pissed off at that. She's not very industrious and prefers sitting down to a good book or watching TV to doing any work. However, she is intelligent, and the lowest report card grade she ever received was a B. In some ways, she is a sociopath. Her parents lecture her on the importance of refraining from violence, but she sees nothing wrong with pain. It makes you stronger.
Hobbies: Sports, fencing, martial arts, torture
Likes: Anime, TV, Books, pain
Dislikes: Anyone outside of Phenomenon, her parents (who she knows, but they do not know she is in Phenomenon), Mary Sues, perfect people, arrogant people
Theme Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8HI31HN4LE&feature= (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8HI31HN4LE&feature=)
Extra: She's what you'd consider 'mentally ill.' More bluntly put, 'insane.' She's rather swift, and I guess what you'd call' strong in some manners, but she has no stamina. The only thing she really has a passion for is killing and her friends in Phenomenon. Sometimes she skips classes to go to Phenomenon and sometimes she disppears for days on end. She is an expert locksmith and spy, but is not so good at incognito work or fooling others. She prefers to all-out attack someone.
Ignore the fail history. I always fail at them.
Short cut white hair, pale skin, and cold grey eyes (they aren't green).
Name: Natalie
Codename: Mirror Image
Age: 14
Gender: Female
History: She remembers nothing of it, mostly because there is nothing to remember. For all she knows, she was born into Phenomenon and she simply didn't have what people call "parents", and she is prefectly content with not knowing.
Members of Phenomenon were carrying out a scheme to kill her father, a leader of a mafia who sought out the downfall of the organization. He was easy to kill off, but one of the members that went along saw three year old Natalie hiding behind the furniture in the mafia hideout. This person brought her into Phenomenon and she has been trained as a assasssin ever since.
Personality: She is calm, cool, and patient, hardly ever showing her emotions and hiding behind a hardened face and intense gaze. She doesn't hide her emotions because she is "sensitive" inside or because of some inner turmoil, but because she belives that showing them would be to show weakness. She strives to have the advantage in any given situation, an obsession over doing her job right that causes her to have a superiority complex. She doesn't have a problem with being straightforward and pointing out your flaws, but at the same time can be evasive and vague. When around others, even members of Phenomenon, she acts emotionless and often times silent. When she is around people she knows however, you can see that she is a sarcastic and snarky, but she does have some sense of nobility and heart.
Something that may boggle minds is her ability to act like a totally different person and how she uses this as a killing method. Instead of putting herself at risk doing an all out attack on her victim to kill them, she dresses and poses as someone close to the victim. When she is near enough, she'll kill them, quiet and quick, then leave. She's not the one to hire if you want someone tortured slowly before they die.
Likes:(most involve her method of killing) Wigs, acting, small knives, poisons, silence
Dislikes: Loud/brash people, getting dirty, outdoors, socializing, torturing her victims, losing
Hobbies: She'll mix chemicals and all kinds of things to create her own poison. She either fills/tips the knife with the poison and tries it on her victims to see their different effects. She's learning how to fight with a sword. She likes acting as or mimicking other people.
Extra: Her "weird ability" is still developing. When she has seen or is dressing as someone she is going to act as, her skin, eye, and hair color will very slowly and subtly change into the color of that person's. For example, if she's going to act like a dark-skinned person, her pale skin will begin to change into a light brown. It depends on how long she is acting as the person. Her facial features, body type, and mannerisms, even her voice will change to imitate this person.
Oh my! Gore, language, creepy-ness! This is the roleplay for me :D
Description (i have no picture): Average height, thin body, light coloured skin with a few freckles around the nose. Dark brown hair, slightly wavy with a few blonde streaks worn in a side pony-tail with her side fringe. Bright blue eyes with long eyelashes and black eyeliner under her eyes.
Name: Iris
Codename: Time Slicer
Age: 14
Gender: Female
History: Iris knew from the age of 7 that she didnt fit in. Everyone was different in her eyes, the way they acted. She began to feel urges when coming across knives and weapons, an urge to pick up the weapon and use it. Her arguments with her parents became worse and worse over time, that is when her rage took over. She attempted to kill them in their sleep but failed to do so after becoming knocked out from a blow to the head which her brother took part in. Iris then awoke in the Phenomenon head-quarters after her family was killed.
Personality: Iris is an athletic girl, fast runner and a good thrower. She is also intelligent and likes to think of herself as "more than a human". She has always disliked humans for their ways against the earth, destroying nature and all. She isnt the friendly type to most people and can sometimes lose her temper easily. Iris isnt the type that shows fear or pain, she will hide it as much as possible. Iris has the looks and the smile which often tells people that she is a "sweet, innocent girl" not one to create such murders.
Likes: Knives and metal blades, reflections, being the best, torturing her victims and hearing their dying gasps, the rain and clouds, nature (trees, waterfalls, plants etc).
Dislikes: Being in last place, liars and cowards, little children and hot sunny days, snobs.
Hobbies: Iris often practices her throwing skills by throwing knives at moving targets. She likes watching her reflection swirl and move in water bodies.
Extra: Iris is developing an ability which allows her to slow down time through her eyes. (Time doesnt really slow down she can just see it like that) It gives her the ability to avoid quick lunges and hits.
The history and personality is so bad, right? Dx I may edit this later!
(http://s3.zerochan.net/Ibuki.%28mangaka%29.240.1008639.jpg) (http://www.zerochan.net/1008639)
Name: Jacqueline 'Jack' Micheal Fawn
Codename: Trigger  Fingers
Age: 19
Gender: Male
History: Most of his life, Jacqueline lived in England. He had it easy, his parents weren't poor but they weren't exactly rich either. For a majority of the time, Jacqueline suffered from selective mutism. During school and other occasions where people were present, he wouldn't speak a word. He kept to himself and worried his family greatly. There was plenty of times where the child had to go to therapy for it. It didn't really work. As Jacqueline grew older, his father grew ill. Eventually, he passed away from an unknown illness forcing Jacqueline and his family to move in with the grandparents. That's when Jacqueline started getting into The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Ultimately, it pulled him into Phenomenon. He thought it would be like the cults surrounding RHPC but was actually very wrong. Instead of trying to get out, Jacqueline chose to stay, providing something to do with his life instead of being a hermit. He's grown to like the cult.
Personality: Jacqueline is a solitary person, enjoying the quietness of being alone. If one does not know him personally, he comes off very tense and scary. But that doesn't mean he isn't approachable. There is no aggression, unless provoked. He's extremely quiet, unless excited by something or tense. Also very secretive. Even prideful.
Being smart as he is, he is also wary of others. Jacqueline is a person to judge people by observations. Anyone who seems shady to him, he'll outright avoid. Jacqueline is a selective mute. He chooses not to speak during certain occasions. But when he does speak, it is sometimes difficult to fathom and understand. There isn't an ounce of desire for anything nonsensical or unnecessary, and he won't hesitate to express his disdain.
Sadly, he's moody and can be hurt quite easily. It takes long for him to recover from being hurt (Both physically and mentally) Not to mention sensitive. His emotions are temperamental and unpredictable. He's witty, having a good sense of humor. There is no need for revenge in his book. However, he's a 'forgive but never forget' kind of guy.
Getting past all of his 'faults', Jacqueline is extremely friendly and fun to be around at times. He's an honest guy and is generally concerned about other's feelings. Mainly his friends. Jacqueline has a way with words, being able to guide others both physically and mentally. He is tactful, having a sense of what is fitting and considerate when dealing with others. And he has a strong sense of sympathy. Everyone is treated equally to him.
Jacqueline never looks for friends, he waits and bides time. It seems unusual, however that's how he works. To show that Jacqueline considers you a friend, he'll tell you to call him Jack.
Likes (Opt.) Rocky Horror Picture Show, being alone, his father's pistol.
Dislikes(Opt.): Unimportant things, people who get in his face.
Hobbies (Opt.): Writing and going out to the shooting range to use his father's pistol.
Theme Song (Opt.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aizCMO-mI1Q (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aizCMO-mI1Q)
Extra (Opt.): Jacqueline is quite a writer, he carries around a pleather book everywhere he goes. It's a nice honey color. The book has a flap that opens up, making it almost journal like in looks. This book is possibly one of his most prized possessions. The book was owned by his mother. She had given it to him after he began to write. Either it be poetry or stories, everything was in there. It's wrapped in a crimson colored string, thick and sturdy. Another prized possession of his is a rather odd looking key. It's quite a sight to look at but absolutely stunning. Jacqueline tends to wear it as a necklace, hidden under his clothing. The item itself is slightly useless, as its design is not only complex, but also the key ward itself is unable to be used. The bow of this key is a pair of butterfly like dragon wings, along with the dragon itself, and a green gem. The tail of the dragon wraps around the stem, all the way down to the pin, making a hoop towards the end and a slab at the end. It was his grandfathers and is never taken off, only during bathing or swimming.
Thank you for accepting me! :D
School was over for the day and Iris was glad too, she hated being around the kids in her class. She rushed out the corridors before all the other students did, avoiding those running maniacs. She didnt want to get caught up in another corridor blockage.
She made her way to the exit before seeing two legs quickly appear in front of her shins. It was too late to react, she had tripped over them and tumbled down the few stairs towards the concrete path below. Iris threw her arms out towards the ground to prevent her head from smacking the ground, she slid forward as her hands hit the ground leaving grazes on palms and wrists. She clenched her teeth and breathed heavily, trying to pull herself up off the ground. Iris heard laughter behind her, she turned seeing Sophie and her best friend Claire standing at the top of the stairs. Them two are one of the most popular kids in her class, they laughed loudly and gave each other high-fives. "Watch where you're going loser!" Claire called out. Sophie dropped her bubble gum wrapper and chewed the gum with a smirk on her face. Iris stood up and scowled at them before rushing past the school gates. Eventually when their laughing faded away, Iris slowed down her pace and began walking while examining her wounds.
Thank you for accepting me too~ I'ma hop right into this and bother Iris XD
He was out on the streets again, just loitering around. There wasn't much for Jacqueline to do. The bonde teen isn't a social person so it would only make sense. Unlike normal teens like him, Jacqueline chose against going to college. It was an intereference with his cult time and he was doubting the possiblity to balence the two. Despite this, Jacqueline did have a part-time job to keep him afloat. This was better than bumming money off of his mother. Just outside his work place, silver eyes cought sight of a familiar figure. Names and faces never stuck, but no doubt her appreance did. No way he could put his finger on how he knew the girl walking along, but since Jacqueline was the way he was, having no real contact save for one specific thing, she was most likely a cult member.
There was no harm in what he was doing. Crossing the street, barely making it out of the way for cars, seeing as the idiot had forgotten to look both ways, Jacqueline made his way over to Iris. His concerned nature was kicking in. Not to mention Iris was a fellow cult member. That meant something in his book. Save for this normal reaction, it was a bit out of character for him. But again, cult members were family. At least to some extent. Jacqueline walked besides her, pulling out a roll of bandages. It was cought up in his mother's book, so he struggled a bit getting it out. Once freed from the book, he held out a pale hand to give it to Iris. No sound came from the older teen. His selective mutism was kicking back in. That and he was listening to music loudly. The blonde kept up pase with the younger girl, staring straight ahead like nothing was going on. Because nothing really was going on.
 ((@Millen: I'm probably too young as well, but it's too late now C:< I have a project I need to be working on, but I'm taking a break. Projects? Never thought I'd say this, but I wish we could just have homework that's due the next day instead of a buttload of work.
Man, while I was writing my post, I kept thinking of this quote from Azula:
'My own mother.....thought I was a monster. ....She was right, of course, but it still hurt.))
Scythe-Part One: Cyanide Flames
(http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7spcfunk31rcr9pxo1_500.jpg)
'Have a good day at school, sweetie. I love you,' Layce's mother cooed, pulling her close and stroking her hair.
The redhead abruptly pushed her away in disgust. She absolutely hated physical contact with humans, especially her so-called 'mother.'
'You won't even let me hug you?' her mother, also a redhead asked in a baby-voice that shouldn't even be used on a kitten.
Layce simply growled in response, snatched up her rucksack and made her way to the door. She knew her mother's words were empty ones, as proved by what she was about to say.
'Wait, before you go, let me check your bag.'
Layce snarled again, but coughed over the bag. There was nothing dangerous in there anyways. She was good at hiding her weapons, since she had been doing such since she was in the second grade. After some rummaging, her mother tossed back the bag.
'You haven't said anything all morning. Is something bothering you, sweetheart?'
The redhead considered punching her mother in the gut, but she had taken care of her for 11 years, and even she had boundaries. Another consideration was simply exiting without a word, but her throat was a little dry, and she felt as if she needed to say something before she went to school.
'The only thing bothering me is how you won't let me leave,' she replied silkily, as if she were suppressing the urge to impale her.
Then she left, but before she started heading to school, she went around the back of her house and made her way to her mother's prized garden, and dug around in some loose soil under the watermelon plant until she uncovered an good-sized onyx box with an ivory key-hole. Layce rose to her feet and went to the other side of the garden, where an apple tree was growing. She climbed up the tree and looked for the key She recalled when she was very very little, she had helped her Dad pick apples from this very tree. She pushed away the terrible feeling that gripped her when she remembered she would never help him pick apples again. She couldn't name this feeling, and she didn't feel it any other time, but it felt worse than anything else...
Layce finally found the key to the black box settled on top of the tallest apple. It was onyx, in contrast to the dulled white colour of the lock. She picked it up, careful not to let her fingers slip, and climbed down the tree to make her way over to the chest.
Inside, there were a number of items her parents (and, not to mention, the school board) had banned. These included:
-A matchbox
-A lighter
-A switch knife
-A pack of cigarettes
-A couple of hydrogen cyanide pellets
-A small bottle of vodka, about enough for three to four shots.
Layce selected her weapons as: the lighter, the matchbox, the cigarettes, the cyanide pellets, and the switch knife just in case she got caught. She did not intend to use the cyanide, but it would be useful to keep it just in case. The switch knife was also kept in case of emergency, but she would enjoy watching the people of her school suffer from poisoning. Hmm...speaking of poision, how would she re-stock on some anthrax? Well, she didn't any right now, even though she loved to use poisons.
She stuffed her weapons in the outside pouches of her rucksack, making sure to keep the lighter away from the matches. Then she began her walk towards school. Of course, she didn't intend to take part in any of the classes today. The moment she reached the grounds, she swerved away from the entrance to the building and went around back .
You may be thinking something right now: If Layce is this dangerous, why doesn't she have any guards or supervision on her commute to school? Well, all she really has been caught doing is getting into scrapes occasionally, trespassing and some cases of petty thievery. On top of that, she is only eleven. Most people don't really feel the need to send the men-in-black after a troubled pre-teen.
However, Layce has done many things, she's never been caught doing before. She knows how to kill people without them suspecting they were even murdered, which is why she uses poisons so much. Although she would rather fight someone all-out in a test of strength, she knows to play it safe when so many adults (i.e, her parents and teachers) are watching her every move. To kill someone, she usually laces someone's drink with anthrax. However, it's not very satifying as she usually doesn't witness the suffering of her chosen victim. Well, not much of it. She makes sure to catch glimpses at times, but keeps a careful distance so she cannot be traced back at all.
The redhead was tiring of this method, and was tired of school as well, so today's plan was kind of rash and daring. A little excitement would be good for her. It would be even better than the thrill she received when her murders were placed on the news. Once she was out of site, Layce dropped to digigrade and pelted towards the back entrance to school. She returned to two feet and entered the school, her aviator's hat pulled down over her eyes to ensure she could not be identified by any cameras. She made her way to the gym, which was made entirely of wood. Perfect to burn. Hurriedly, she fished the matches out of her rucksack and the lighter. She could simply strike the matches against their box, but a lighter was much more effective. Added, she could simply use the lighter if the matches turned out to be duds. Fortunately, they weren't, and she could easily light the matches. After she lit the foam at the opposite ends of the gym and the wooden floors, she fished a couple smokes out of her rucksack to make it appear like a smoking accident. They were common in middle school and high school, were they not?
However, the cigarette was useless. Layce was already caught, but she had not been identified yet. She had never worn her aviator hat or her current outfit around school before. Not because they were prohibited, but for situations like this.
'Who is that?! Who is that?! What is she doing?!' a shrill voice said, rushing through the gym doors.
'-Removed by Moderator-!' the redhead cursed inwardly, but saying it out loud couldn't possibly have raised her trouble any higher at this rate.
'What on EARTH do you think you're doing?' the teacher demanded. 'And why aren't the fire alarms or sprinklers working.'
'Well, I'd think the first would be obvious, and the second doesn't really matter. I'd advise you simply get out of here before one of two things happens:
A: I kill you with my switchblade, or
B: The fires slowly turn you to ashes.
I don't really care which one happens, but both of them are inevitable if you remain here to consult me. Oh, and one more thing, if you tell anyone else about the fire, I've filled sprinklers with cyanide and will activate them. So...you're in a lose-lose situation, if you want to save anyone else. Well, I've talked a little too much-my fire is spreading fast.'
Layce smiled an evil grin-similar to the way a shark does before it makes a kill.
'Well, I can't simply keep this to myself,' the teacher insisted.
'Very well,' the redhead replied, walking over to the bleachers.
'Wh-where are you going?' the teacher stuttered, now a little fearful of how far this girl would go.
'Well, I need someplace to hide my weapons,' she chuckled. 'Maybe you should be the one going to school here, not me.'
'You're a student here?!' the teacher screamed.
'Oops, I've said a little too much, haven't I?' she grunted, pulling a gas mask out from behind the bleachers with her teeth. 'Well, you'll be dead soon.'
'Give me that gas-mask!' the teacher demanded.
'What? So you can save yourself? See-it's not so hard to look out for number one and forget about everyone else. You know, you can just leave and I won't have to pull the fire alarm and set off the sprinklers.'
Layce didn't mention that everyone would be able to smell the smoke at one time, and there would be no need to warn everyone after a while, but the fear was scrambling this woman's brain, and it would fun to infect the school with cyanide. The redhead saw a therapist, she knew how this woman's mind was working. Right now, she was torn between warning the school and getting them poisoned, or saving herself and leaving the rest to die. She was frozen in fear partly of Layce, and partly of indecision. Honestly, right now, the girl didn't really care at this point and strolled over to the alarm.
'N-no,' she uttered. 'Stop! STOP! STOP! Please, STOP! I'M BEGGING YOU! THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!'
Now the teacher was extremely scared. She had never dreamt she would die at a time like this. She was just waiting to wake from this nightmare. Most people would feel a pang of guilt at this point, but Layce simply relished the feeling of making someone feel such a strong emotion. To control someone's brain completely. To know their thought patterns so precisely.
All while she was wasting her limited oxygen on screaming in terror and hyperventilating
After watching the instructor scream her lungs out, she heard people rushing down the steps to check on her.
Ugh, looks like the show is over, she thought to herself, finishing fastening the gas mask onto her face.
Then she strolled over to the fire-alarm, the gym nearly engulfed in flames, black smoke trapped in the gym, but the redhead had her gas mask.
'I guess I do owe it to you to introduce myself,' Layce replied, one hand on the fire alarm. 'Make sure you're still conscious for this. It's very rude to ignore someone while they're doing you a favour.'
The teacher gave her a death glare, but Layce ignored it. Glares made her feel nothing. She removed her gas-mask to reveal her distinctive orangish-red hair and scarlet eyes.
'My name is Scythe....'
The ginger pulled the fire alarm, pulled her hat back on, and watched as the teacher slowly died. They all deserved it, calling her devil's spawn, ignoring her, treating her like a piece of toxic waste.
'....and I HATE you.'
A thrill shot through her, and a catchphrase popped into her warped mind.
'I hope you enjoyed the cyanide sunshine.' Layce smiled the shark's grin and exited the school building.
However, the second she was out, she felt darkness close in around her eyes, as if she were losing consciousness. Did she accidentally breathe in some of the cyanide? No, she was just passing out. The ginger stumbled a little, leaning against he wall. Was she caught and was simply being detained? How was that even possible? -Removed by Moderator-! There were cameras planted in the gym, and she had so stupidly revealed herself in front of the cameras. How could they survive the fire though? How could they see her through the smoke? There was no evidence proving she was guilty!
'You are correct,' a voice rung inside her head. 'But we see all, we hear all. We are...Phenomenon. You are now one of us, Scythe.'
((This is so hopelessly long....I bet no one read past the first paragraph
What's even sadder was I was gonna keep writing...but I felt like this was long enough. Man, I felt guilty just writing this. I could never be a terrorist XD.
@Ingredient:
Man, Iris has some AWESOME friends (coughcoughsarcasticcoughcough))
((Ugh, there are so many flaws with my post, too, but I began to rush. Most important flaws:
1. Why didn't the teacher simply use physical force to restrain her? I mean, I'd be pretty desperate.
2. How did she already lace the sprinklers with cyanide?
3. That is one slow-burning fire!
4. I'm not really even sure how to lace anything with cyanide =3=' In fact, I don't know much about poisons myself
5. I feel like I kind of made her a Mary-Sue. Don't worry, though: Her flaws show through sooner or later. I'll list them right now:
-She tends to act irrationally, or out of line
-She has social problems, and cannot read people very well, unless it involves fear
-She has control issues, since her Mom is so controlling over her
-Not very good at going incognito or surreptitiously carrying out large schemes (like the fire).
-Tends not to think everything through
-Isn't very industrious, and rather lazy when it comes to things she doesn't want to do.
-She is afraid of one thing, but that's a secret until later C;
Also, I might not make her a mutant. Maybe something small, but probably not...
6. Yes, I'm British, but this takes place in America, I think, so I call her Mom, 'Mom.' Also, I've always called my Mom 'Mom' for some reason. Just like I call my Grandfather 'Papa.' Dunno what I'd call my grandmothers if they were alive. And I'm not one of those people who say that a family member died and expect you to be all sorry for me. In fact, I'm not really sad about it since I never even knew them. Sometimes I feel bad for my Dad, but I won't tell you why because I don't want to be a sympathy monger, and frankly, it's not really any of your business anyways. Not to be rude, but I just don't want to be a sympathy monger.
Anywho, I'd fix everything right now, but I really, really don't want to. ))
[[@Kitsune:
Oi, oi. It's alright that little Scythe has some Mary-Sue characteristics but the only thing that matter is execution and making it as realistic as it can be.  You can explain more of these issues she has in thoughts in later posts or even just in sentences.
In America, we refer to our grandmothers as "Gran gran" or "granny". I usually refer to my own as "abuela" or "nana," but this is due to the region I was raised in. ]]
And with that, she packer her stuff and left and the rest isn't much importance. -Facepalm, Facepalm, FACEPALM-
She likes feathers because they symbolize freedom to her and her own feather is the symbol of freedom from her past, however she secretly envies birds for their ability to be so free as to fly away and travel without second thought. She prefers archery instead of guns for even with a silencer a gun still makes more noise than a bow and arrow. She often can be found hidden in her room doing some sort of activity that allows her to ignore the real world.
((Mind if I have Nat here swoop in and pick up Scythe? I just don't know how to introduce her quite yet LOL
But still, I like long posts, so long as they are interesting :3 And believe me, it was~ I don't think Scythe is too much of a Mary-Sue though- She only has one post so far so there isn't much to judge.
Just to clarify, her flashback takes place after Scythe sneaks in through the back door, so she didn't see her go in.))
The girl was small, almost bird-like in stature, skin just a few shades darker than her short-cut white hair. The dark green clothing and black ribbon in her hair stood out in contrast to her pale complexion, making her easy to spot in the back lot of the school. She was alone (or at least she thought she was) in the area, the teachers and whoever inhabited the building after school hours were inside. The white-haired girl paced back and forth along the side of the brick building, her grey eyes reading over a paper in her hands. They flitted over the page, left to right, over and over again as if trying to process whatever was on it. Just a few minutes ago, this letter was given to her by pure chance. The only reason it had been given to her in the first place however, was because she was a member of Phenomenon.
"You're from Phenomenon, I assume?" The voice as male, she thought, eyes analyzing everything about his appearance since she had heard the name of the organization. He had a hood pulled over his face, shrouding his eyes, and was leaning against the side of the building. The other students had left already, but she was certain that if someone had seen him right about now they would call the police. He was all too shady.
"What is your business?" She asked flatly, ignoring the last question. Obviously if the man came after her in the first place, he must have known she was in Phenomenon. Her eyes flashed cautiously as he raised a hand. Grey eyes fixated on the envelope in his hand, all white, no return address to track back to or anything.
"We have a job for you." 'We?' The girl thought, face displaying no emotion at all despite her bewilderment. She shoved her hands in the pockets of her skirt and turned on her heel.
"I don't do jobs for strangers. Especially idiots like you who think they can just stroll up, talk about Phenomenon in public, and hand me the message in person." Her voice held no malice or venom, the words lifeless and dull.
"It won't take you too long, it's not that difficult," The man said, sounding like he wanted to say something else entirely to the girl. "What if I told you that these orders are from Phenomenon?"
'What?' She felt the letter being slipped into her hand and listened to the man's footsteps plunk away.
That letter had but three words printed on it in bold typeface.
Save the sunshine
Phenomenon had done a superb job of rendering such an emotionless girl speechless. 'Is it a test?' She wondered, stopping by the back door into the building. 'Though there is a possibility that this guy is messing with me...' Sighing, she pocketed the letter just as the back door swung open. Blinking, the albino watched as a girl about eleven years of age stumbled out, eyes drifting open and closed. The redhead leaned up against the wall, seeming not to notice her standing there.
What Natalie found interesting however was the fact that this girl was wearing an gas mask... and an aviator hat, but that was less suprising, considering what some children wear these days. But enough of that. 'What to do... Is...Is that... Smoke that I'm smelling?' She tilted her head up and saw smoke weaving its way out of the top of the school, and some of it snaking out of the door that the girl opened. 'Urgh... I hate smoke...' The albino thought, clamping a hand over her mouth and nose. 'I can't just leave her here... Is this what the letter meant by saving the sunshine? It doesn't make sense...'
Natalie rushed over and grabbed the redhead by the arm, tugging her away. "Let's go," She said softly, careful not to jar her around too much in case she had any injuries. 'Why is she stumbling around? Surely the smoke isn't enough to render her unconscious...I wonder why the school is on fire though?' She glanced at the girl in the aviator hat and nudged her, "What happened?"
((GRR Why do I fail so much?))
Also, I'm not showing favouritism, and everyone's characters are much more creative than mine >.> I'm just complimenting someone's character! So jealous of everyone's creativity >A<.))
'What do you mean?!' she demanded, but she couldn't help but feel good inside.
Someone had actually said, 'You're one of us.' No one had ever uttered such a phrase to her, growing up with insults and back-handed compliments, and occasionally being beat up by older kids. Even though Scythe enjoyed feeling pain, it still hurt, more mentally than physically. Even though it felt good to be accepted, by friend or stranger, the redhead kept her hackles up. Similar had happened before, she felt herself having the beginnings of a flashback....
'Hey, you there, Redhead Girl!' a boy called out to her.
Layce turned to look at them, her eyes, although dismal, filled with emotion.
'I do have a name, y'know,' she replied, turning to look at them, books clutched to her chest. 'It's Scythe.'
'Yeah, Layce, whatever,' a girl, arm hooked to the boy, replied. 'I'm Brooke, and this is Dylan.'
'My real name is Scythe. Layce is the name my parents gave me. Oh, and if  this is some sort of game, I don't feel like playing,' she growled in response.
'No games,' Dylan replied with a wide grin.
He had bowl-cut brown hair with light blue eyes that were a little too far apart and small, like a hammerhead shark. He had smile wrinkles for some reason, and when he smiled, his eyes closed. He was shorter than his girlfriend, but also compact. He was dressed in a polo t-shirt and basketball shorts.
Brooke was skinny as a rail and tall, obviously with a stuffed bra. Her eyes were also too far apart, with a moonpie face. Her visage looked petty, but not quite mean. Her hair was bleached blonde, with slutty clothes to match.
Brooke whispered something into Dylan's ear, and he shook his head. Scythe couldn't make out what they were saying, but she had a feeling it was something about her. Subconsciously, she raised an eyebrow.
'You're really stupid,' was all she said, and turned.
'No really, we want you to come meet us at the back of the school. We want to say we're sorry,' the bruno said.
'I'll come if you tell me what Brooke was whispering in your ear,' Scythe said consciously, swiveling back around.
'Oh, um, just something about last night's homework,' he lied.
'That's obviously a lie, but I guess I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and go. Who knows? Maybe some of my intelligence will rub off on you.' The redhead left before they could reply.
Despite her good judgement, she went behind the building to meet them. What if it wasn't a game? What if they did want to say sorry? Scythe was desperate for friends, even if they were these bozos. However, no one was there when she arrived. Again, despite her better judgment, the ginger stood there and waited for a while longer for them to arrive. When they did, they seemed to appear from nowhere.
'You fell for it. I can't believe you were that stupid,' they said in unison.
'You're right-I was stupid, but I'm gonna leave before anything happens,' she sighed.
'Oh, no, you're not going anywhere,' they said in unison once again.
Growing a little worried, Scythe turned to look at them. They looked possesed, and a little sick, as if someone-something-sinister were controlling them, their actions. The redhead cringed a little, but slipped her hand inside her jeans pocket; where she kept her switch knife at that time.
'Come any closer, and I'll cut you,' she threatened, brandishing her switch knife, cloaking the fear in voice.
Before she could react, Dylan has pushed her to the ground. Both of them began to kick her, over and over again. Scythe relished the pain, but couldn't help but feel hurt. She had trusted them, for some reason. Lately, they had been buttering her up. And for nothing. Just so they could kick her to the ground for simply existing. She began to feel angrier and angrier, sprawling onto the ground, feeling as if her body were turning outside out, everything was numb....
Scythe snapped back into the blank world she had been transported in after burning down the school, the numbness still lingering slightly. However, soon the numbness disappeared, leaving only a thrill of anger and strength. She had forgotten that memory. Not long after, she snapped into the flashbacks, being beaten in jeuve, being called terrible names, her own grandparents expressing disgust at her existence, and white flashes of anger, and each time the flashbacks ended, they would drop away, like puzzle pieces out of the universe of Scythe. Each one would sort of connect with the last feeling she felt before the flashback would star, like anger, regret, or sadness.
The last flashback she had was the death of her father....
'No, NO, NOOOO!' Scythe protested, coughing out each word hoarsely.
The next place she was, was in her bed, four years old. She was comfortable, had sweet dreams for the last time in her little life. She still called herself Layce, still loved her mother. Today was the last day...the last day of her sanity. The last day of her love. The last day of her freedom....
'OK, I'm going to do this,'  she said to herself, grinning insanely. She knew it was going to work.
Layce sprawled out across her bed, and concentrated on her body, her soul, her self. She felt herself become peaceful, she felt her consciousness drift off, all she felt was a soft numbness. It was a surreal, calming, indescribable feeling. Suddenly, a terrible feeling grabbed hold of her, and though there were no words, she knew what it was asking....Layce was shivering in fear, but she pushed past it. She continued on.
That's when the pain began. The unbearable, bone-crunching pain or her body contorting and changing. At the same time, it felt incredibly brilliant, like being filled with power and awareness, felt as if she could do anything at all in the world. Her senses over-flowed. At the same time, she felt cursed. There was no turning back now. Layce didn't protest, she didn't fight back, she just let it happen....
After a while, she opened her eyes. They were bright red in contrast to the somber grey her eyes used to be. She rose to her feet, certain that her 'experiment' had worked, since she could see her muzzle in front of her face. She looked down, raised her sleek, russet paw. In wolf years, she was older than four, and therefore, not a pup. She was strong, yet gangly due to being in her teenage years now.
Then she felt fearful, felt herself slipping away into the mind of a wolf. This was scarier than the shift itself
The next thing she knew, she was sitting in the corner of her house, rags hanging off of her body, eyes fearful and scarred. In front of her lay her father's charred and slightly mutilated body. The rest was a blur, but when her Mom arrived, she called the Fire Department, the police, and the ambulance. Layce was not hurt very much besides a few burns, but her father was beyond help. The next place she went was the police station. She did not understand much about the situation besides they were trying to locate the culprit of this terrible arson. But the redhead knew they would never find the murderer...
Every day after that, that event plagued her mind, and she visited a therapist. Despite this, the new Scythe felt a sense of accomplishment, a thrill of being so powerful, able to do so much, to have such an effect on someone's life; in other words, she could not stop. She continued trying to shift, locking herself in her room these times around, but continued to see a therapist, and continued to commit felonies and acts of arson.
This memory took a while to convert into strength, and a lot of huddling in a fetal position crying out 'NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.'
Slowly, it died down, converted into pain and strength, too. And then her real name away, leaving only a few things:
1. The name Scythe
2. Cyanide Sunshine
3. Save the Sunshine.
'When you wake up, look for the one who 'saves the sunshine.' Remember, you are now part of Phenomenon, a killing machine. You are one of us.'
~~~~
(It has only been a few seconds in real time).

'Let's go.' Scythe was faintly aware of a soft voice, female's, yet older than her.

The redhead was snapped back into reality, not sure what was going on, but a thrill still lingered inside of her, but she wasn't sure why. All she remembered where those last few thoughts....

'What happened?' she heard, the same voice.

This time, she really snapped back into reality. She instinctively pushed away from the girl who had nudged her.

'Get away from me!' she screamed instinctively, pushing away from her, panting in fear.

As she cooled down, she tried to ponder her next words, but what popped out next was,

'Are you the one who Saves the Sunshine? From Phenomenon?'

((Gawd, this is so long again. I was kind of lazy, but I tried to include important things >A<. I feel like I'm writing a novel.))

she turned seeing Sophie and her best friend Claire standing at the top of the stairs

Sophie and Claire are best friends i meant, Iris isnt really friends with anyone in her class. Sorry if that confused anyone.))

Iris turned around hearing footsteps following her, it better not be any of her classmates. She lowered hand into her pocket, feeling for her pocket knife. Seeing a familiar face she loosened her grip on the knife and pulled out her hand carefully, trying not to let her flesh rub too much against the denim material. Iris smiled warmly at the tall gent as he offered her a bandage, she took the bandage out of his hand and began to wrap it around her wrists. "Thank you" she smiled, then tucking in the end of the bandage. She didnt expect the bandage to be so soft and light on her skin, it didnt sting her wounds luckily for her.
Iris suspected he was the quiet type, perhaps maybe a bit shy? No, probably just the quiet type.

It was common for her to count her footsteps on her way back to her aunts house. She liked the sound of each step, especially over the dead leaves in the fall. Normally she would enjoy her way home, the wind rustling the trees, the birds singing as if it were a perfect day, the soft sunlight seeping in through the clouds. Iris would feel so serene but now she had only been thinking of a single thought, repeating itself over and over again. The screams of a certain two people, the ringing sound of a metal blade, the blood stains splattered all over the clean walls. Iris gave a sly smile at the thought, repeating itself again.

Iris began to feel kind of awkward, it probably would've have been polite to ask the question suddenly bombarding her mind. Still walking on the cracked footpath, she looked up to him and asked, "What is your name?" as she was curious to know and waited for a reply.

(I've decided on Jack's codename. Trigger Fingers ;3)

Without tilting his head, silver eyes glanced over to the other cult member. "Welcome," He mumbled. Slowly, the older teen stared up at the sky. Wind brushed up against his exposed neck and he shivered at the cold. Fall was a beautiful sight. He just wished that it wasn't as cold as it was. Jacqueline was pondering a bit. There was no harm telling her his name. She was a cult member after all. But his wary nature was interfering. In the nervousness that was accumulating, seeing as selective mutism was also a cause of anxiety, Jacqueline tried to prevent himself from stuttering. He wasn't shy by any means. Jacqueline was fine talking to a person face to face. Guy or girl, it wasn't a problem. However, crowds. That was another thing. But having less contact with others had its effect.

His posture had changed.

With his back straight, shoulders a part, and chest puffed out, the teen kept walking. After a few minutes of silence, Jacqueline chose to spoke. "It's... Jacqueline... And... Uh yours?" He asked. His blonde hair ruffled by the wind as it breezed by once more. Slowly, he turned over to Iris, taking in a better sight at her. His hands clutched around his mother's book. The crimson string was loose, about to fall off. That was from finagling with it after the bandages got cought inside.

The cold air had begun to bother him once more. Jacqueline hoped it wasn't rude, but he put up his hood, keeping his ears warm. It would also be best if he took out a headphone. If she was going to talk, being polite and listening was something to do. Gentleman like. He turned down the music volume too. Flipping through the pages of his pleather book, Jacqueline skimmed to a clean page and wrote a few things down. Nothing important. Just some thoughts he had in his head. Who knows when his next assignment was. Who his next victim was. It was best to stock up on more bullets while he had the chance. Jacqueline wasn't called Trigger Fingers for nothing.

Even if that had sounded like all the older teen was doing was wasting bullet's, it was far from it. His aim, albeit not that good, was good enough for someone using just a pistol and a sniper rifle. The occasional trips to the shooting range had helped him slowly grow better at aim. Re-loading a gun was a walk in the park. Jacqueline was better at pistol use. Only owning one, he preferred using just one. But any gun could suffice. A sniper rifle being his second favorite gun. It was obvious what was his first. Despite all this, he got his code name from both the quick re-loading skills and being pretty much a gunslinger. No cowboy could stand a chance against him. Okay, maybe they could, however it seemed like he was one of the top best gun users. Out of how many there were. Nevertheless, Jacqueline was always training.

Back to the book. His knowledge wasn't exactly the best. Especially with math. Seeing as that's what he was doing. The poor teen had nothing else to use, so his book was a replacement. He was counting up the money he would need to buy his bullets. Living by yourself in an apartment and juggling both a job and the cult activities wasn't exactly easy. And when you work a job at just over minimum wage, it was hard to keep yourself afloat. Jacqueline however, managed. Even if it was just by a bit.

"Sorry, I was distracted," The older teen apologized, bowing his head slightly and closing the book. Slowly, almost robotic, he wrapped the crimson string around the book. It was wrapped a certain way, one that couldn't really be memorized unless you watched him do it a good amount of times. This book was important to him. Not only poetry and stories were written in there, but also his kill list and a couple of journal like pages, having deep secrets in them. If someone was to read the book, he would know by the way the wrapping was done. Then it was only a matter of time before he'd find you. The book was placed back into his pocket and Jacqueline looked back at Iris, smiling slightly.

Get away from me!
Natalie cringed at the mere shrill tone of the redhead's voice, stumbling a little as the girl pushed her away as if she were dripping with acid. So perhaps the girl was only tired out from something, running or whatnot, and not going to faint anytime soon. That was fortunate, because if the white-haired girl had to carry the lifeless body away whether she wanted to or not, she wouldn't be able to do it considering her under-developed muscles. She was never a very athletic person, and though the girl was a few years younger, the albino would still have troube carrying her.

Having regained her composure, Natalie straightened up and stared at the ginger expectantly. She seemed to be shaken about something as she panted heavily, and she could read fear in those scarlet eyes. Was witnessing a fire really that traumatic for her? She looks as if she has just seen someone die... The white-haired girl almost smirked at that. Almost.

I don't blame her for acting surprised though; if I came to and was being led away by some stranger I probably would have done the same. She knew that this couldn't have been the only reason for the redhead's over reaction, there seemed to be some underlying tension. Starting to become antsy, she shifted on one foot and looked over the distressed girl's shoulder at the school. Flames were now licking at the sky, engulfing the entire building and leaving a menacing black cloud in the sky. She could hear the crackling from here, along with the drowned out screams from whoever was burning to death in there. She turned back to the ginger to prod her for what happened again, but the girl seemed to have calmed down.

"Are you the one who Saves the Sunshine? From Phenomenon?" Finding herself dumbfounded once again, Natalie only blinked and gaped. Had the cult planned this? It seemed like the pieces to the puzzle were simply falling into place...

"Uh..." It was unlike the emotionless girl to stutter, and she suddenly averted her eyes, letting her ivory locks fall over her face as she dug a hand into her skirt pocket. Fishing out the letter, she handed the paper to the girl, not looking up once. "More or less. And judging by how things are moving along, I'm guessing you are the 'sunshine'."

Natalie did a half turn on her heel, thoughts whirring through her head at rapid fire speeds. Do I have to keep "saving" her beyond this one incident? I don't have time babysit. "So, if you could explain what's happened here, that would be great. I'm with Phenomenon as well, so your secrets are mine."

Still thinking of a code name, if anyone has any suggestions ^^ ))

She looked up to him, her head tilted a little. "Jacqueline? Interesting name, i'm Iris by the way." she smiled at him, hoping she sounded friendly enough. The tone in his voice was so much more nicer than those idiot prefects and seniors at school. It has been a while since she had a decent conversation with anyone, even just a simple introduction or greeting made her pleased.

The young girl was no longer squinting as there was no sun shining in front of her pale face, it had already moved behind some large clouds behind her. Was it going to rain maybe? That would make her feel better.
At the corner of her eye she noticed him pull his hood over his head; after a cool breeze blew past she couldn't blame him. It was getting a bit cool, she slowly began to pick up her pace hoping to reach the house soon. Aunt Martha always offered to pick Iris up after school yet Iris would refuse. She would much rather prefer to walk, despite the long distance. Anyway, her car always smelt like dog which eventually would make Iris throw up.

She slipped her hands into her pockets to keep them warm before going back to her thoughts. After what happened today she didn't feel like going back to school tomorrow. Perhaps she could become sick during the night? Stay home tomorrow and practice some of her skills, target practice maybe? Or maybe she should show up at school, plot revenge? Soak in more insults to make the revenge feel more, splendid. 'I'll see how i feel tomorrow' she thought to herself.

He spoke again, unexpectedly. "Hm? Sorry i was a bit distracted myself," she gave a little laugh. Her aunts house became in sight and she noticed Martha sweeping a dead mouse out the front door. 'Ugh! I bet that over sized rat of hers killed it!' she mumbled to herself. "Well, that's my house. I guess i'll see you later, Jacqueline. It was nice meeting you." she gave a little smile and wave. Iris didnt want to seem rude but aunt Martha wasn't comfortable having the young girl around boys, especially ones past fifteen. She would often nag Iris about it. She picked up her pace and walked through the front garden gate and straight inside before the aunt noticed.
It was too late though, that old hag gave a glare at Jack. She was not impressed, she shook her head slowly before leaning the broom against the wall and heading inside to talk to her niece.

"Iris! Please come here!" she called out, "Iris!" The brunette knew what she wanted, so she came slowly down the hallway and then leaned against the wall. "Who was that?" she asked, "What were you doing around that boy?" Iris couldn't help but roll her eyes, "He's just... a friend..., i uh.. know him from school..." she replied, trying to sound casual as always. "Just a friend, ay? You must understand how i feel about you being around boys as old as that one. You don't know what they're after!" Martha just went on again. It tires Iris and she eventually starts day dreaming through these same conversations until the -Removed by Moderator- starts snapping her fingers in her face.

Iris pulled her hand out of her pocket and rubbed her eye, "I'm sorry, what was that?" feeling a bit confused. "What on EARTH happened to your hand?! Tell me who did this to you!" she demanded. "Did that boy hurt you?!" she grabbed Iris's wrist. "No, actually he didn't! He actually gave me the bandage!" pulling her wrist back she tucked in the bandage which her aunt loosened up. "Look, could you just leave me alone! I know what i'm doing, i'm very tired and i would like some rest!" Iris yelled out in Martha's face, she was sick of hearing this -Removed by Moderator-! She rushed back to her room without another word leaving aunt Martha speechless and in anger.

I am edit some of this later, im really tired you see, g'night! ))

The redhead accepted the note, unfolding it rather mindlessly. She examined it, but despite it's size, there were only three large words written on it.

'Save the Sunshine,' she muttered out loud, removing her gas mask. She scoffed, and tossed it back to Natalie (although missing her enough it didn't seem as if she was passing it to her at all). 'I don't need any saving-I started this fire,' she blurted out, grinning insanely.

Scythe tried to remember why she had burned down the school, but she couldn't remember anything before leaving the school. In fact, she couldn't remember her own mother's name...She did remember how much she despised her, though.

'Sunshine....what a terrible nickname for me,' she coughed, leaning against the building. 'More like CYANIDE sunshine. Wait, cyanide? Cyanide!'

She was beginning to lose her cool again, and silently reprimanded herself for doing so.

'We only have a few minutes left before there's a leak,' she warned, her voice laced partly with fear, but cloaked with calm certainty. 'By the way, this may be a bad time, but my name's Scythe. The new member of Phenomenon. Oh, and please, wherever we go, just don't take me home.'

Scythe didn't know this girl, but she was obviously a member of Phenomenon. The albino seemed a little disappointed to see this new member, as if she didn't want to look after some little kid. She would prove her wrong, though. Clumsy as she was, she was far from a little kid. Most kids her age worried about looks or fashion or the next episode of Doctor Who. She worried about....about....bad things. Worse things, but she forgot what they were. Like a dream that suddenly just slipped out of your grasp as you were re-living it. It was quite a frustrating feeling, and Scythe felt like slamming her fist in the wall. On the other hand, that was a bad idea.

She coughed again, and pulled on her gas mask. Smoke was beginning to leak out of the school. They had to leave, and quickly. The redhead desperately waited for the albino girl's reply. Surely, she could have gone somewhere without her, but she wasn't sure where to go. Even for a little sociopath, it's good to have some company....especially since Scythe felt like she could trust this person for some odd reason. It was as if something invisible were there, connecting them.

The redhead wasn't sure what Phenomenon was, or how she got into it, but what she was sure of...was that it was too late to go back now (re-visit to the beginning post!).

((There is only one base in their general area, with enough living quarters for all of them. They can disappear there for as long as they want, but Phenomenon simply doesn't have enough budgets to provide food, and everyone takes turn with laundry. ((I'm bad at drawing maps, so I'll try to explain it >A<
It's not exactly a 'high security' facility, besides the fact that it's located in a little hut just outside of the city. Well, it looks like a little hut. Actually, it's built into the back of the hill. At the back of the hut there is a secret door unlocked with a passcode (6669). When you enter, you are welcomed by the barracks, stocked with weapons. In the East Wing is the Dining Hall, and in the West Wing are the dormitories. In the South Wing and outside are the training halls. There is also an exercise room near the training halls, but they're pretty barren besides a treadmill, an exercise bike, and an elliptical.

Also, ANOTHER SO-CREATIVE-IT-BLOWS-THE-AWESOMENESS-OUT-OF-MY-BRAIN character. You, WolfishGrin, are accepted. Welcome to Phenomenon!

Also, for some reason, I thought the guys in Phenomenon would be more like Tsume from Wolf's Rain, or something. They're more logical and psychological and stuff, though...))

Oddly enough, her archery practice became boring to her. She paused from it and placed the items away, She remembered she still had plenty of time until- wait... Her attention was snagged by a strange white flowing object similar to clothing stuck on a tree branch. Feather just had to look around for the culprit as she grabbed the clothing off the tree branch and went towards the front yard. To her surprise, it was a girl chasing some stray laundry.
"Hey, need help?" She called as she began forward to help catch the laundry.

(http://static.desktopnexus.com/thumbnails/460692-bigthumbnail.jpg)

Hobbies: Spending time on her computer or anything else high tech. Playing video games.
Name: Tamah Moto
Codename: [The] Domino Effect
Age: 20
Gender: Female

Appearance: Her hair is cut short, when at full length the tips of the longest strands just barely touch her shoulder. The hair color is actually a very, very faded black and has the tendency to reflect the color of light that reflects upon it vaguely. For instance, if the sun shines upon it it may glow a whitish-black or yellowish-black, and if stuck by the moonlight it would also glow a whitish-black or bluish/purplish-black, and so on. The irises of her eyes are the color of a cornflower blue, and most of the time they speak of innocence and honesty. It's sometimes easy to forget her age this way, in fact, as not only does she tend to behave like a child but she looks it, too. But don't be fooled, experience also lies in their depths along with hardship that's a quick reminder. Moving on to her cloths, they tend to be simple and she wears bland colors such as tan or grey, though the outfits themselves are decent enough. You'll also never catch her wearing high heels, sandals, or skirts and dresses unless she's wearing pants/jeans beneath them. Her figure is rather petite and fragile looking, and she's often smaller than most her age and unfortunately has stopped growing.
A head set is always upon her head or about her shoulders if not in use, though they almost always are. Exactly what they do isn't always clear, but it's wise to assume they do more than just project sound.

History: Tamah grew up with computers and technology all her life, her
mother and father had worked for the FBI and helped search for criminals through computers and technology. At least
her mother used to but when Tamah's older brother (a year older) came along she retired to watch over them and spend
time with them for work took full time, but she did so with no regrets and was actually planning on doing so soon
anyway. Because of this it didn't take Tamah long to learn how useful these traits could be and even learned a bit how
the criminal mind worked, and her classes in science, math, and anything technology related were her highest scores.
She had her own computers and learned how to build some from her father, though hadn't been able to do so on her
own yet until much later. Over time Tamah began to understand the world of technology more so than the world itself,
her knowledge growing as her young mind easily soaked up what was taught to her and it soon seemed apparent she
was going to follow in her parents footsteps.
For awhile, everything seemed perfect. Other then her head start from others in terms of science and math, Tamah
actually had a pretty normal life, she did alright in school while only struggling with few classes, had friends, did play
dates and sleep overs, and was bullied at times for her rather odd behavior (due to the extra knowledge) but it was only
minimal and most of the time paid it no mind. But it all changed when her father had been kidnapped by a group of
terrorists and in turn, she and her mother had been taken along with two of her siblings, a brother and sister. She had
been fifteen when this happened, and was 17 when she was finally rescued. The entire two years, though, she had
been tortured mercilessly, also hearing the screams and wails of her family day in and day out. They had been kept alive
for awhile, her younger sister passing first from the pain and neglect followed soon after brother, then mother with her
heart failing at the loss, and eventually her father. Tamah had been nearly there but when the base had finally been
discovered she had been taken away by who she would know as Phenomena. Obviously her mind was lost, but her skills
and talents were still intact. Though it took some time for her to recover, and since then she had carried a sense of
betrayal of the FBI or anything related that her parents had worked so dedicated for and it took so long for them to find
her family. So when she was told that the world will think she was dead, and she'd be going under different
identification, she willingly agreed. There was nothing left for her, after all, so her name changed to what it is now.
Though to say she was never the same again is a bit of an exaggeration, she's actually quite similar if just bit more
bonkers.

Personality: As suggested in History, even before the devastating event Tamah had been a bit odd. Though we'll
skip to how she is now. The two years of torture had left it's scars, ones that could never fade. They had dug deep
enough, though, where something inside her snap, loosing nearly all of her sanity. Though it's probably because of this
that she's still alive today and progressing with life, instead of turning gloomy, hateful, vengeful, spiteful, etc, she's
become the opposite. Possibly from most of her peers in the organization, Tamah is a cheery soul with an uplifting spirit
that'd rather look to the bright side of things and appreciate simplicity's of life rather than soak in depression. Or perhaps
it's just her mind can't comprehend what's happening and could even possibly be in denial. Whichever the case, Tamah
tends to be a bit oblivious of certain things or pretends to be, it's actually difficult to tell for it's suspected she may have
slight personality disorder. She can be fickle and her whole demeanor can change, one moment goofing around and
spinning in a chair and the next working hard on a project and saying difficult words and phrases. Despite her innocent-
like nature, however, she has no problem seeing someone else be killed or even tortured. If they're they're the enemy,
hardly any sympathy can be shown from the female as possibly almost all of it is gone from what she had to endure
herself. However, more often than not she isn't the one doing the killing or harm, and she only really does something if
the person deserves it or perhaps told by Phenomenon. She can never bring harm to someone else "just because", there
has to be a valid reason for it. However, she is never judgmental of others, and if they're doing something of their own
accord, mostly just her Brother's and Sister's, she's willing to turn a blind eye if she can't talk them out of it.
Though it can be rather confusing at time, the general description of her personality is this: she's completely honest.
Whatever is on her mind, or whatever is her opinion, she'll say it. She'll never lie, and really doesn't care what others
think of her. If she isn't suppose to say something, she'll simply keep her mouth shut.

Likes: Cats, and loves coffee & tea (can get fancy with both). Her computer, and anything technology related. If
you don't see her in front of her computer she's always holding something gadgetity (Made up word FTW!). Also loves a
challenge, especially if she's hacking into something that's high security and difficult. Her new family of course, and talking
to others (not in the annoying "gosh why won't she leave me alone and shut up!?" way, but she doesn't mind holding
conversations and company.)
Dislikes: Being touched. NEVER touch her, even if it's a simple tap on the shoulder. Though she doesn't fight, she'll
react violently out of defience and insticnt. The only acceptions is if she knows someone fairly well and it's out of comfort,
though it's always best to give her a warning. She hates to fight and would rather have someone else do it while she
does something else helpful, but she does know defense techniques and can hide/run very well.

Theme song: N/A for now
Extra: She picked her name as a kind of self justice or statement to the irony of what had happened to her. Tamah
means Honest, Innocent, and Naive, while Moto means Mind, Spirit, Soul. She's also not a fighter though she knows a
few tricks to defend herself and carries various gadgets upon her person. If caught in a fix she'll mostly dodge and strike
before running off to let someone else "save" her and take care of the problem. How she benefits the team, however, is
by hacking into other buildings, getting the layout, number of guards, etc while staying behind her computer and can
even instruct the team members who are doing the infiltration/assassination on what to do, what to watch out for, and
warn them of obstacles. You can say she's the "brain commanding the nerves" so to speak. This doesn't make her a
leader, though.
Though her fighting-skills aren't great past defense, she has astounding stamina and endurance. This is because of the
torture she had to go through for so long, so hardly anything bothers her now. This is also why she's rather a bit small
and thin because of the treatment and neglect. She also has very quick and fast reflexes which helps her dodge
and run.

((@Ingredient: Of course~! I don't see anything wrong with it-it would just add to the reputation of Phenomenon. Oh, and is it OK if I put your code name as Time Slicer in the introductory post? I'm also gonna post that first thing in the code =3=' Even though most of the rules in the code are just jokes, since I think it's ridiculous that such an organisation should be strict...

Oh, and I'm going to specifically request that all posts be at least a paragraph and literate. I thought that would be un-spoken, but it's kind of the theme of this rp, so....and I feel like doing something.

@Katsa
Even more amazing than I had expected O.o I can't wait to see your first post! I think that you did Tamah more-than-justice. I'm one of those people that read every single inch of someone's post or form, don't call me a dork XD. I just love to read >.>

Now for my first post! Probably not going to be all that great cause it'll be the first, but I'm going to try as always >3 Also, I have a question, too. Is it alright if Tamah can actually "live" at the base? She'd buy her own food and other such things, though I was thinking after that incident she'd probably not live on her own. But it's okay if not ^.^ I should probably also add she does jobs around schools like fixing computers along with any other place that uses them, like cleaning out virusus and such so she can have a decent living.

On another note, her Codename is [The] Domino Effect, because her role tends to have things "fall into place" and technically have one action affect numerous others, good or bad xD))

The sounds of beeps, blasting, and buzzes echoed through the silence of the base, the source coming from a rectangular-like device in the hands of none other than Tamah. The screen was flashing various colors upon her face, and she looked with mild interest with a sign of boredom drawing in. After all, she had already played the game before and beat it countless times, perhaps she should get a new one soon. Still, it was pretty fun.

The young woman was in the living quarters of the base that was Phenomenon, perched right at one of the couches with her laptop hovering close by upon a small table, on as always. Though for the moment it was untouched, just loaded on some webpage she was browsing over. Tamah herself was seated rather oddly, in fact she was upside down. Where her head should be the legs were, braced against the back of the couch, while her head hung over just at the edge of the seat.

((Lame post is lame. It will get better, though! I just need someone for her to bother xD
Also, I forgot to put in her form that she loves video games, and has fast, quick reflexes due to her time spent playing them and on the computer -Facepalm-))

(Welcome all new members! -waves- ;3)

Silver eyes glanced over at the girl next to him. So it was Iris. "Pretty," He mumbled. Hopefully she hadn't heard. But there shouldn't be any harm. Every girl should be told something, if not everything, about them was pretty. Because truth be told, that's how he saw things. Everyone was pretty, or handsome, just they way they are. Jacqueline tried not to laugh at his own thoughts. He truly was weird. His attention was drawn towards the door. Poor thing, probably stood no chance against the 'oversized-rat' of a cat. "It was a pleasure," Jacqueline said, bowing his head in politeness. He smiled back and waved as well before turning to leave.

Right, now onto business. He had a assignment to accomplish. The older teen scurried alone, heading home. He'd have to return there first before returning to the head quarters of their 'humble' abode. That made him smile and chuckle. Humble and Phenomenon wasn't the best combination out there. Shaking the thoughts, Jacqueline continued on his journey home. He rummaged through his pockets, searching for his key to the apartment he resided in. Just as he rounded the corner to his apartment complex, the key was found. It was a rather boring looking key compared to his grandfathers. Unconsciously, a pale hand rested over his chest, feeling the detailed key beneath his sweatshirt.

Stepping up to his door, after traveling many stairwells, the key was placed into the keyhole and unlocked the door. His apartment was small, not that it mattered much. There was plenty of memorabilia of England in here. Nostalgia always hit the cult member whenever he walked through those doors. The flat was open, with large windows straight ahead. All the walls reminded him of a factory; square cut, metal looking wallpaper. Off to the side was the kitchenette and the living room. The bathroom was opposite that side. Straight back, towards the left led to his room. Which was wear he was heading.

Inside was a fascinating room. His bed had no posts, no frames, nothing. It laid on top of shelving's that lined the one side of the room. It was messy, white pillows thrown askew and his Union Jack blanket falling off the mattress. His dressers were in front, white and very simple. On top was scattered CDs and movies. Just above was a nice TV too. Over the bed was a specially built platform. There was stairs leading up to a desk area. His laptop was up there. Jacqueline needed that. The teen discarded his jacket onto his bed before hopping up the stairs to his laptop. He swung the chair around, sitting down and staring at the screen.

With a quick check of his messages, a small chat with a friend, he was off within minutes. There was more details in the emails, sent in by anonymous people outside of Phenomenon but still helped out. These were the people he also relied on for updates on next targets. One that Phenomenon may have not provided. The laptop was shut and he jumped down the stairs. Now to head to HQ! Jacqueline changed his clothes, grabbed another sweatshirt, and hurried off.

Now to return to HQ and then off to begin his assignment.

(I'll post the links later of what his room looks like)

(( O_O I was looking through the list of members on the introductory post and... My mind...Frikkin blew up. I mean, seeing all the awesome pictures accompanied by the eccentric codenames...
We are just a group of awesome xD
I am a bit confused as to where your post is, Soaring... In HQ, of course, but I doubt there'd be a balcony for her to look down into the street, considering that the base is built into the back of a hill. Then again, it's just right outside the city...
Unless Elinor isn't in HQ at all xD She's doing laundry, but she's on an apartment complex rooftop, which I didn't imagine the base having...
*ignore my useless babbling*))

Natalie narrowed her eyes dangerously at this apparent new recruit of Phenomenon, her head tilting to the side once more, looking a bit like an inquisitive kitten. The girl had flippantly explained, with a shark-toothed grin on her face, that she was the one to start the fire. Now, any normal person would have asked the redhead, Scythe, as to why she had gone and went on an insane tangent and set the school on fire. However, Natalie, along with any other Phenomenon member, was not to any extent normal, and it was safe to say that this redhead wasn't either.

Natalie remembered Phenomenon code, had it drilled in her brain since the tender age of three. Never question someone's reason for a killing. It's none of your business. She wasn't about to break it now. Even if she did ask, there was a good chance that this girl was too far gone to even remember why she did it.
"Oh, and please, wherever we go, just don't take me home." Scythe was saying, causing the white-haired girl's attention to snap back onto the new recruit. She needed to stop tuning out, for fear that she might miss something important. Did she just say something about a 'leak'? What was leaking besides the smoke? Whatever it was, Scythe seemed fearful, or at least a little anxious of it, so Natalie guessed that she should be a little more alert from now on.

The ginger seemed to be waiting for an answer, her gas mask firmly pulled back up on her face. "Very well," The albino muttered, glancing over her shoulder as she detected the sound of police sirens off in the distance. A stunt like this couldn't have been well planned out, and she couldn't think of anyone who would want to commission the death of a few measly teachers. From this, she could figure that Scythe has not a been a "new member" for very long, and she had set the school in flames on her own accord. Maybe even just joined today. She gazed at Scythe, who was leaning against the wall and nodded, swiftly stepping over to the letter that had floated to the ground.

"Then let's go." The albino took care to grind it into the ground and rip it with the heels of her shoes before taking off at a fast sprint, hands in her pockets. "We'll go to base and figure this out once we're there..." Her short hair whipped around her face as she tossed her head back to the look at her companion, "In the mean time, uh, stay close..." And please, don't do anything stupid... She wasn't quite sure if she could trust Scythe yet. The two headed into the vast expanse of trees that was set behind the school and continued toward the well disguised base. After a good amount of running (and some fast-walking; Natalie never had very good stamina), they came upon a clearing with tall hill. There was a small, almost insignificant to most people, hut nestled at the back of it.

Most would expect the base to Phenomenon, a formidable and feared organization of assassins to have some pretty tight security hidden on some island far away so no one could reach them... Not the case.

Natalie entered the hut, a cold gust of air blowing her hair back. She didn't even flinch, just continued on to the secret entrance. Locating the keypad, she let the code scramble onto the pad at a robotic pace. Three clicks on the same button, one click on the button just below the previous one. Six, six, six, nine. The door swung open with another whoosh of air, giving the duo full view of the barracks, a hornet's nest of weapons, artillery, ammunition... She stole a glance at Scythe, a wary glint in her eye, but she was mostly silent as she moved toward the west wing.
"This may not be the right time, but... My name is Natalie. Welcome to Phenomenon, I guess..."

((MY GOD THAT WAS AWFUL. but eh I was tired TT_TT I didn't know how to describe the hut and the setup of the base, so I went kinda vague beyond that point....))

((Now to get my head in the game and make this a much better post! Cause that last one was seriously an epic fail lol))

Pew pew, crash, bzzzzz. Blam, pow, schreeee.

These sounds and more bounced off the walls of the living quarters, since they were practically empty Tamah saw no reason why she had to lower the volume. Yes, she did have her headphones, they were resting upon her head now, but if they weren't required then why use them? It'd only damage her ears and give her a headache, even the young woman had her limits. But a pause had come over the little noises, silence suddenly swallowing them. This was because something had caught Tamah's attention, blueish eyes perked with curiosity and slight confusion. Had she heard something? It sounded like the opening and closing of a door. Tentively she listened, searching for the sound of approaching foot steps or maybe voices. Nothing came to her, however, and soon enough her eyes drew back to the game as she unpaused it, techno sounds once again surrounding her.

What on earth? Again she paused the game, the thought passing her mind a bit impatiently though it soon passed. It was the sound again, did whoever that entered exit soon after? Probably through a different door, though now that she was sure she heard it curiosity was increased. That combined with boredom, Tamah of course was going to investigate. Pocketing the game after switching off the power, she placed her arms over her head until the palms rested upon the floor. Next a leg had detached itself from the back of the couch, followed soon after by the other, and on they made their decent over their owner. About halfway her arms supported the weight and bent, the legs doing the same, and this way she gave a light push upward so as her legs came down she was completely turned over, knees missing the floor and feet landing instead. Rising now, she was faced to the couch and with a light turn of her heel she headed toward the door leading away from the West Wing and to the Barracks.

Her earlier theory had been wrong. Instead of seeing the place empty there were three people, two of them around the same age while the third seemed younger. Remaining by the door frame, one hand holding it lightly while she leaned outward casually to peer at them, automatically her mind already began gathering as much information as it could from the trio. Two of them she recognized as members, though she wasn't quite aware of their names she was still familiar with their appearances. The third, though, slipped her mind, so she probably hadn't seen her before if she was a member. However, she had a smokey smell about her, not one of cigarettes but of someone gone camping or maybe even a barbecue, though nothing about her look or evidence upon her person that suggested otherwise told Tamah it had been caused by a fun time. On all three of them were bits and layers of dirt upon their shoes and around their ankles, the light frizz of their hair telling her that the wind was rushed past them so either it had been a windy day or they were running (which was more likely considering the dirt). Other then that were the few pieces of leaves and twigs caught on their way here, and Tamah began to expect they had been in a hurry.

Standing their idly, Tamah had already caught the name of the older female, Natalie, so she figured on listening in a bit longer to see what else she'd find out. So far the stranger said nothing, but from what Natalie was saying (mostly just welcoming her to Phenomenon) she thought perhaps she was either new here or a visitor. Considering the place hardly had any visitors, she assumed the first. Gaze had went from the two females to the single male now doing the talking. He gave rather a simple greeting, and though it sounded polite (if perhaps a bit emotionless and bland) his expression was rather similar, not really threatening but not quite the expression Tamah would think someone would use to greet someone. Next, though, it seemed like he was expecting something from the young girl, perhaps some identification or explanation?

"You should give your own name first."

The matter-of-fact voice (directed towards the male) had come from none other than Tamah herself, finally deciding to speak. She was also rather curious as to who this girl was and why she was here, and it was most likely they'd receive it faster if they left her no reason to refuse offering such information.

((I guess I'll post...I was going to post this morning, but I do have school, and I slept in, and I have a cold, so >A<. And then I'm fasting today cos I ate too much candy yesterday. Sorry if my brain doesn't work and this post absolutely fails. D:))

Scythe was about to head back to investiage the Center Wing, where a number of impressive and awe-inspiring weapons were held. However, she was stopped by a tall man dressed in strange clothing that looked as if it belonged in 'Kuroshitsuji.' She grimaced slightly, her visage concealed by her gas mask. Although she concluded she had no write to criticise this man's fashion sense, considering her aviator's get-up.

'Well, hello there..,' he trailed off, his voice silky and thoughtful.

As socially awkward as Scythe was, she was not sure how to reply after the strange albino introduced himself to her. Was everyone in this strange place an albino? Or was it the institute of people with strange hair colours (red isn't exactly common, but not as rare as white/silver.)? However, she doubted this conclusion....

Her doubts were confirmed her by a woman with short black hair called out to someone in the room.

'You should give your own name first,' was all she had stated.

Well, Scythe was planning on doing so anyways (she mistakenly thought the statement was directed towards herself) so she began to speak before the Victorian man had a chance to speak.

'I guess I shall introduce myself first, since I am new,' she sighed, attempting to be polite, but her speech pattern usually consisted of slang terms and contractions that don't actually exist in the English language. So, naturally, she failed. 'The name's Scythe, 11 years old, new member of Phenomenon. Well, that's all I really feel comfortable telling...'

That wasn't the complete truth, however, since she had forgotten most of the rest, but she dismissed this from her mind as she waited for the others to introduce themselves. Actually, she had not gotten the chance to reply to Natalie, but not being rather socially awkward still, she was slightly glad she had been saved from replying, since it would have consisted of an awkward conversation.

Scythe, maintaining her 'polite' stance, removed her gas mask, but did not removed her goggles, since her hair would most likely be more of an abomination than the hat. She tried to recall the events of that day, but all she could scavenge was the memory of burning the school and pulling the fire alarm. However, she couldn't for the life of her figure out why she would do such a thing. Granted, it sounded like great fun to burn down a school.

The redhead found herself staring off into the distance, although not much time had passed since her introduction. She recalled a fact that the brain moves at 180 miles per hour, but she could not remember from where. It seemed as if she still had all of her knowledge, just no memory of her social life, if she had one at all. She did not remember any bonds, besides one that felt more fatherly than anything else. Everything she did remember was more like a dream, or a presence. Including the fire incident.

((I've decided to make Scythe a pyromaniac-it's not in her application, but it makes sense.))

((@SoaringAway, Yes, of course, knock yourself out. But I'd also like for everyone to know that Jace doesn't 'bunk' in the Phenomenon HQ for most of the time, instead he stays at his manor. He also doesn't take part in Phenomenon meals (he might show up, but he usually doesn't eat), preferring to eat alone before or after at his own place, accompanied by either just Butler Darron, or sometimes his staff. Also, for the laundry, he won't send most of his clothes to be washed by Phenomenon, rather have a professional dry cleaners deal with at least his more expensive, delicate, and valued garments. But some articles of clothing could be washed by the cult, yeah.
Think of Jace as more of a loner within the group. He does take part in assignments, meetings, and activities, but he prefers to stay around the edges of the group, putting in his input only when he feels it is necessary. He will stick around to help after meetings or on hours where they're cleaning up, or no one else is around to do chores, because he likes to serve for the better of people. And he gets tired of having everything done for him around his mansion, so he likes to be in HQ for that reason.

Also, I was wondering just how big and well-known is Phenomenon? Would people outside of the cult know of them? Or they'd know about them (say that name and their reputation), but not anyone, or anything else about them? Would they be fugitives for being part of this cult and therefore wanted by the law?  And how large do the members of Phenomenon span out? Across the city? State? Country? Is there a main leader of the cult, or are they more democratic, or is there a council? How do they hold meetings, and what is discussed at these meetings. And most of all, what about these 'assignments.' Who creates these? Who supplies information? Who are their targets? Are they working for someone? Sorry to as all these questions, but I they'd help make the RP more clear.~ ^^''

@Radioactive, I never really thought of considering Jared as an albino. xD But I guess he would sort of be, since the pale skin and white hair, but he does have pigmentation in his eyes and he is pale, not colorless. So, maybe half albino? Or he could have premature grey hair (which turns into white. Like Anderson Cooper! :D <3) I don't know what he is, to be honest. xD Even I don't know everything about him, haha. Oh, and Jared's codename is now officially 'Jester of Diamonds.' The 'The' before is just a title and optional.))

 -?: "You should give your own name first."

 Turning a head of neatly-chopped silver hair towards the sound of the new voice that had cut the silence of the room quite abruptly (at least to him), Jared focused his guarded hazel eyes upon the older girl that had materialized at the room's doorway. A little shaken on the inside by her frank statement, Jared stared at her for a moment, his eyes glancing over her features. Short, also choppy charcoal-colored hair, and large eyes that contrasted with her thin, petite frame; the features of which he remembered seeing around HQ almost always glued to some electronic device, her signature headset either functionally on her ears, or slung around her neck. Other than that, he knew not her name, and little else about her.

Jared's slight shock was masked by a quick, blank expression that he displayed to the female, before turning back to the young red-haired girl. The muscles in his jaw tensed and started to stretch his jaw to introduce himself, when the girl beat him to it. He politely closed his half-parted mouth, and patiently listened to her words.

Once the young girl had finished, Jared nodded in reply, "Ah. Welcome then, Miss Scythe, to Phenomenon." He added in a simple smile and small gesture to the base around them before going on. "My name is Jared," he said, addressing them all since he figured they didn't know his name either. He flicked a subtle glance at the charcoal-haired female, whom he knew had directed the suggestion of introducing himself first, before returning his eyes to Scythe, "Nice to meet you."

((Bah. T.T -flails-))

(( @Soaring, ah, I see now xD For some reason I thought she was at the Phenomenon base when I was reading the post. My bad~
Also, I have noticed Elinor, Jace, and Natalie all have white-ish hair xD That's alot of white-haired people.
As for Natalie, she's an albino despite her eyes being grey (albino's typically have red, pink, or blue eyes) but I'm going to say that she wears contacts and her real eye color is unspecified. And I also guess that Scythe would assume that Jace was an albino due to the white hair, since you don't typically see young people with white hair~
As for the questions about Phenomenon, they are all good questions I'd like to see answered ^_^ A huge organization like that needs a system.
I can say that the leader is, as Radioactive said:

Quote
Speaking of leaders, the official leader is the Amazing Hermaphrodite Never-Seen Mysterious Lillith. She/he will be explained more later in the roleplay....(I forget the pronoun used for hermaphrodites...if there is one).))
))

Natalie forced herself to take a big breath when she heard the entrance open and close behind her, someone was entering in right after her and Scythe. Had they seen the two coming in and followed out of pure curiosity? Could it be an invader? A law enforcer? The rational part of her mind told her to stop jumping to conclusions, anyone who wanted to come in had to know the passcode, which was only given to members of the cult. Which led her to her next conclusion, someone from Phenomenon was following them.

She turned around, cautiously, only to be greeted by the sight of a young man in fancy Victorian clothing. The clothing, like Scythe's aviator hat, was not questioned much, as the people in Phenomenon often wore strange clothing. Even Natalie herself wore an outfit similar to a school uniform even though her school didn't require the students to wear uniforms. The silver-haired man greeted them formally, with a subtle scowl on his face, she noted. The albino recognized him and the only name she could put to his face was his codename, Jester of Diamonds. Natalie wasn't very good with linking names to faces, but the codenames each member had to pick were all eccentric enough that they stuck. She let her nerves rest a bit as she nodded to the man. Calm down, there's no reason to be in a hurry... Obviously there's no one else on our trail besides this guy. She told herself. The base was a safe, hidden solace, no unfamiliar faces or rooms. The people here were family, and under the code, so no one, however insane they might be, would ever try to harm her...

That's what she liked to tell herself, at least.

Before she could give the Jester a reply, a frank voice sounded out from her left, "You should give your own name first."
Her grey eyes strayed to the source of the voice, analyzing the delicate figure with short dark hair and a headset resting upon her ears. Again, another figure she could only identify with a code name: The Domino Effect. She looked a little inquisitive, probably directed toward Scythe. New recruits didn't appear often, and Phenomenon tends to choose its assassins randomly, so it made sense.

She listened in silence as Scythe introduced herself, later earning the name of the man, Jared. The albino didn't know what to say, or how to reply, so she racked her brain for words, a sentence, a phrase, just anything to fill the pause.

"Natalie," She introduced crisply, her gaze flicking over to Scythe, who was staring off into the distance. Her eyes rested on the man again, "You may or may not know this, but the fire was her doing, so she might be residing here until the investigation clears out."
((Sorry if Nat comes off as a little rude O_O She's not that social... And she frankly doesn't care if Scythe doesn't want anyone to know about the fire xD
Is it me or are my posts getting shorter ._.))

((@Wolfish: Whoops, my bad ^.^'
I guess I'll say that Tamah had misjudged the expression since it sounds like it'd be difficult to read emotions and thoughts from Jared haha.))

It appeared that her sudden statement had drawn the eyes of all three, each pair resting on her for a moment before returning to the topic at hand. Not quite the affect she was going for, though she supposed it left a decent enough impression to be remembered, wither good or bad she didn't care. The young man's (a bit difficult to guess his age really), though, seemed to linger on her the longest. Perhaps she had offended him, or made him angry? She wasn't sure though it appeared he was going to take her advice either way and introduce himself. However, the stranger had beat him to it. Not quite according to plan but nonetheless Tamah was pleased with the results, learning the girl's name and more. Jared gave his own introduction in turn, and was soon followed after by Natalie again. But what was this? A fire? Curiosity sparked once again in the cornflower blue eyes, Tamah now standing a few feet away from the door frame as it seemed she was going to include herself in the conversation.

"Moto, Tamah Moto," the voice rang clear yet silently to the three, like someone in a chapel where the building commanded silence yet the walls would echo even the most silent whisper. With hands placed delicate by her sides, the black-haired female bent her body downward in a polite bow, before bringing herself back up. Her gaze then flicked over to the 11-year-old, the expression upon her visage placid. "A fire, you say?" she questioned toward Natalie, though her eyes remained on the new recruit. But when she spoke again, this time she was speaking to Scythe. "You haven't been caught, have you? Bystanders, prints, change in schedule... cameras?" At this Tamah had suddenly raised a rectangular device that looked similar to her game, but was much more smooth with multiple buttons and lights, and instead of plastic it was a medal container. "Were there any cameras where you were? Maybe street cameras that caught you? I can delete or edit any of them so it'll seem like you were never there. Or I can even put the blame on someone else if the police know the fire was on purpose."

This time the young woman's demeanor did seem excited, even eager. She looked to Scythe rather hopefully, if there was a chance she'd get to hack something and mess with the system then darn it she was going to do it! "I know a few candidates to put the blame on if that is what you decide, though I don't mind doing so with someone you have in mind. After all, if it'll put the danger off a fellow Sister, though new, I'm willing to do it."

((Hopefully that little post gave an idea of a "target", though if there isn't any specific ones I can just make up someone if we are going with that haha.))

(Just want to point out. A LOT of references to movies/books/songs will be mentioned. He's kind of a hipster lol)

It was a tedious trip to the HQ. All the eyes watched when he had nonchalantly into a firearms store to gather some goods. Can't a teen walk into a store and get some ammunition around here? Jacqueline placed the bullets into his pocket, hurrying along his way. His riffle was left at the HQ. Personally, the blonde presumed that leaving such a weapon back at home wasn't exactly the best place to keep it. His pistol never left his side. Probably not the best idea. But nonetheless, it was a prized possession. That specially made pistol, that was in fact his father's, was more important than a riffle. His opinion anyways. As he walked, a small jump in his step, the bullets jingled like change. Right, now he really had to get back to the head quarters. The sooner he got there, the sooner he could complete his assignment and go home to sleep. Oh sleep, that sound heavenly now.

Continuing on his way, Jacqueline was humming. It was a song from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The musical was a favorite of his. Then there were movies like Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands. It was obvious the creepy things were his quirks. And with Halloween just around the corner, Jacqueline was ecstatic. Also, he had met a very pretty girl today. That was a first. Seeing as he wasn't exactly a social type. Iris really was a pretty name, he mused.

Within a few more minutes, the hill that hides Phenomenon's head quarters. He rounded the grassy landscape and hurried over to the hut. Searching for a bit, the secret door was founded and in went the numbers. 6-6-6-9, the numbers were mouthed, a way to remind himself so the code wasn't forgotten. Once unlocked, Jaqueline stepped inside. Coming in sight with the barracks, silver eyes scanned around, searching for his riffle. There she was! Picking up the dangerous weapon, he slung the strap over his head and across his chest. All set. The poor teen was totally oblivious to the others. He was focused on his job at the moment not to pay mind. Not like they noticed him. Unless they did and didn't say anything. Poor Jacqueline just blended into the background. It wasn't that much of a bother to him.

Perhaps he could grab something to eat before he headed off. Taking one last glance, staring at the others as they conversed in slight longing, Jacqueline began to move off to the west wing. No wait was it the east wing? That didn't seem much of a concern, seeing as within seconds he was causing a large racket while tripping over himself. His pants had become to baggy from the walk, slipping over his shoes. This resulted in him messing up his steps and colliding with the guns hanging on the wall. His failed attempt at catching them created loud clatter as they fell to the floor. With mumbles of apologies, aimed towards the inanimate objects, Jacqueline started putting them back in place. It wasn't everyday that the teen was tripping over himself. With a sigh, he shook his head. Today might not be his day.

((@WolfishGrin-Oh, I just mean albino as in white/silver hair XD. Either that or pale skin. In that respect, I sometimes refer to myself as an albino, although I have ginger hair. However, I have pale skin. Not quite a ginger though, as in I don't have any freckles and my eyes aren't green >.> Whenever I think of an albino, I either think of someone with pale hair or pale skin, but usually not both at the same time XD. Although it does seem like the practical assumption.

Oh, and to answer some more of those questions: They are strictly authoritarian, although the leader usually escapes their mind since they are never around unless in the very beginning of the recruitment-the mysterious male voice. Information has to be gathered independently, perhaps questioning a comissioner or another member of Phenomenon possibly has some knowledge.

The assignments are strictly assigned by the comissioners, who can be any citizen who knows about Phenomenon. However, Phenomenon cannot exactly be advertised, but they are a wanted organisation of so-called 'terrorists.' They are a mainly local society, in Montana, so they are not extremely wanted, so they can 'boast' or 'spread the word.' No one one knows where they are located, but if someone has a commission, they write the information of the victim on a note. Then they place it in any place marked with a pentagram in their city. It is the Phenomenon's job to regularly check these spots, and when one is found, they must write back with their fee number, etc. If needed, they may request more info, but not any more than is needed. The cult members are paid up front, since there really isn't a reason psychopaths wouldn't kill someone... Oh, and no one dares take the money from its hiding place, since you don't exactly steal from killers. If you're smart. You can basically work out the rest on your own-I try to leave this mostly up to the rper's imagination.

Oh, and if Phenomenon IS found, we do have a back-up plan from which will be revealed later, if needed. 10% of all of the money is left for Lillith at the end of the month.)

Also, sorry that I left this unclear, but as stated before I like to leave things up to someone's imagination >A<)).

Scythe was slightly confused at this barrage of questions (and felt as if her 'personal god' were in a similar situation as well-if you get my drift), and gave Tamah a puzzled look as she processed them. However, she re-called the fire once again, and glowed at the attention she had received due to this incident. The redhead had concluded by this time that this was no normal cult. For most people, if they had heard that she had committed such an act, they would shun her, or send her to the police. This did not seem to be the case, and the members of this cult seemed to be more intrigued than upset.

Then, she considered the questions. Scythe, although her recent case of amnesia, usually had a rather good memory, and was intelligent when it didn't come to social situations or manners. Actually, she wasn't sure whether or not she was caught on camera. There were indeed cameras planted in her school, but most usually ignored them since they were not sure where they were. In fact, even Scythe hadn't bothered to located every single one of them. She was aware that there were a couple cameras in the gym, and there were two in the hallways towards the gym. In hindsight, she should have taken the entrance directly leading to the gym, but it had been a quite rash plot.

The redhead had been most definitely caught on camera, which she had not even thought about. Now, when she listened to this Tamah woman, she was actually rather impressed with her ability to think of this sort of thing. Not to mention how she supposedly had the ability to frame someone else. Was she head of security? Or leader or something? No, she had a feeling there was another, more official leader...

After what seemed like a few minutes, but was actually only about 30 seconds, she recited the answers to these questions. Scythe rather liked straight questions such as this. She didn't have to worry about the polite answer, or the politically correct answer-merely the correct one.

'Yeah, there were a few cameras,' she said, her urban accent returning. 'Two...no, four, if you count the ones in the gym. It be pretty cool if you could erase them. So, you can seriously frame people just with a tape n' stuff? That's awesome.'

h Scythe uses many colloquially urban terms, she's not stupid. She doesn't use terms like 'YOLO.' She takes YOLO more seriously than most people take it, and doesn't really understand what people mean by it. Wouldn't such a term be obvious by now? Were teenagers really that stupid? Also, she doesn't use the word 'swag' or 'swagalicious,' because, frankly, they sound retarded. Occasionally, she'll use them as a joke, but most of the time she was quite serious.

Suddenly, the sound of clattering distracted her, and she instinctively turned towards the sound. She spotted a man who looked about Jared's age-maybe younger-who had knocked over some weapons. It seemed like the kind of clumsy accident only she would commit. She caught his hushed apology as he rushed away. However, she didn't want to follow him. She wanted to hear more about this hacking thing Tamah was saying.

The charcoal-haired girl was, surprisingly, not much taller than her, only by a few inches. Tamah was also quite small, though she was obviously older than herself. Her hair was cut short, not unlike Natalie's, simply the opposite colour. Apart from Scythe, with waist-length hair tied back in a bun, the one with the longest hair was the male, Jared. The other man also had rather long hair, but not longer than the girl's.

Scythe herself had a petite body style. She had never considered herself as 'pretty' considering she was not very well-endowed at that time. Her mother had been a rather 'sexy' woman, who would get multiple comments on the street. However, the only trait that the redhead had inherited from her mother to her knowledge was...well...her red hair. She had inherited her father's petite, yet gangly, body.

Despite considering this at the moment, she was not as pre-occupied with looks as many females her age were. This was because Scythe was simply not interested in boys. Sure, she found them cute, but she didn't really want a boyfriend. All she wanted was a friend, even if it was buried deep in her subconscious. By 'all she really wanted,' I mean besides burning and killing stuff, though.

Unlike Jared, her mouth was usually twisted in a smirk. Not a smug 'Romney' smirk, but a mischievous smirk, as if she had recalled something funny from yesterday. Many people would ask, 'What's so funny?' and she would reply with a cackle, 'You'll see.' Although she usually didn't have anything planned for these questioners, it was amusing to see the look of confusion on their little faces as they walked away. Occasionally she would receive looks of terror, which she relished even more.

((I keep relating to these characters >A<. Mostly Jared, though. Cos I look in dark shop windows to see what I look like a lot of the time. They actually make me look quite slim, for some reason. My visage is usually a subtle frown. Not because I'm angry, but just because that's its default. I try to smile, but it looks kind of weird and...er...gross. I smiled in my school picture. It wasn't pretty.

I also relate to Jack since I love all of those movies ^-^.))

As Scythe gave the answers to her questions, Tamah was working away at the little gadget within her hands, sliding and tapping in rhythmic beats. Though she should of asked what school exactly the much younger girl had burned down, but she was soon enough able to pinpoint exactly which one by the description, Scythe's age (so she knew it had to be a elementary or middle school) and determining the distance she and Natalie had to run without being completely out of breath and exhausted. Soon enough, there it was, in a tiny window upon the gadget was a picture of the school but with flames and smoke seeping out the windows while firemen were desperately hosing it down. From this she could see that the fire was being kept in control at least and was almost out, though she paid it little mind as she was focused on accessing the school's cameras.

As she worked away through the footage, mostly the ones of the gym and then the ones in the halls, a light smile tugging at the corner of her lip showed Tamah's acknowledgement of both Scythe's and Jared's compliments. Not really in a smug, or even prideful way, but a appreciative one. "Certainly," was the confident answer to Scythe's question. "It isn't all that hard, really. The challenging part is choosing the right person and not make a clumsy job of it so people don't get suspicious of it being a fake."

Suddenly a sound of crashing and clanging drew Tamah's focus away from her gadget, eye lids blinking away all the codes, colors, and pictures she had been working away at. Glancing around, she soon caught the source of such noise, a young man that had somehow slipped in without much notice. With her attention on her work, she hadn't realized he came in when he did, though now she looked toward him with both wonderment and light concern. It seemed like she was debating on helping him or not, but Jared had beat her to it and went to check on him. As he did Tamah caught whispers of apologies, directed at the guns no less. Some people may find that weird, but with someone like Tamah who treated her computers, gadgets, and anything between like children she couldn't help but give an approving smile followed soon after with a nod, turning back to her work to allow Jared to check on the guy's condition.

"So just a tweak here, a little smudge there, aaaaand... voila!" Spreading her right index finger and thumb along the screen to widen the file, the young woman turned the gadget face forward to Scythe. A lot of smoke was in the picture, but on one particular spot where it had cleared off, perhaps from an air current to an air conditioner or open window, a figure stood. "That's you," she explained. "Or at least, it was you. You were very close of not getting caught until this camera caught your face. But with some editing and slight changing, the culprit will now be this female. All I really had to do was make you taller and change your facial features slightly. This young woman is known as Clara Devinch. She holds a police record and restraining order of families to stay away from their kids. You should be able to piece together what she's been arrested for from that. So, it shouldn't be too hard for the blame to easily fall on her when they see this photo. After all, she actually lives around that neighborhood and has been in the area during the accident. It'll easily be believed she burned down the school in her rage."

A sudden disappointed look came over Tamah's visage, and she had drew the gadget back toward her and glanced at it in mild sadness. "Though the fire was pretty bad, and could of destroyed all the tapes anyway. Clara was actually a target I had an eye on to get rid of for awhile so this would of been perfect. Though it'd be useless if what I said came true." The black-haired tech-geek gave a soft sigh, but she soon glanced back up with an upbeat smile. "We don't know that for sure, though, and even if it does happen at least it'll still mean you're in the clear."

Sorry it's been a while, i haven't had the time i should be studying and all. Can we borrow weapons from weapon rooms or can members have like a storage room for their weapons maybe? I don't see how Iris can hide a large collection of knives and daggers you see around her house. ))

Iris stormed up stairs towards her bedroom and slammed the door shut. That should tell her aunt that she wanted to be left alone. She let out a sigh and fell backwards, landing on her soft bed. Her messed up bed sheets crumpled beneath her slim body and her pillow almost bounced off the bed. "What a day!" she said to herself. Again, she felt the need to examine her wounds. The bandage loosened up as she fiddled with the material until it fell off, lightly landing on her patterned sheets. The revealed flesh stung as the cool air touched it, sooner or later it's gonna get itchy.
The image of Claire ended up in her head again. Iris let out a smile, you could say an evil looking one. There was supposed to be some party this weekend, all the cool kids are invited. Perhaps this was the perfect time to plan a little "accident". She rolled over onto her belly and stretched out her arms towards her pillow. Seizing hold of the pillow she searched the pillow case frantically until she found her notebook. A medium-sized notebook, thick with plans and drawings. A small pencil was also somewhere in her pillow case, when she found it she began to flicker through the book for a new page. She began to draw a diagram of the school, her house and the area where Claire lived. Quick notes and time schedules were beginning to fill the page. At last she finished her plan! Iris shall go to school tomorrow and let the two sluts joke around her, sneak into one of their homes and wait for them to return from the party.

Her eyes flashed as the last of the sun seeped through her curtains. She heard the familiar voice of her aunt yelling from the kitchen, "IRIS!! Your dinners ready!" Iris rolled her eyes before rolling off the bed and leaping down the stairs, eager to see what's on her plate tonight. On the old mahogany table was her dinner plate, mash potato and some slices of chicken with a small portion of vegetables on the side.
The rotten little dog of hers, that scruffy old terrier ran madly into the dining room. It jumped on her chair and sat it's paws on the table edge trying the reach the plate with it's wet nose. Iris turned to see Martha watching her stupid show, she smirked and carried her dinner plate towards the kitchen. She hit her thigh lightly a few times, trying to tell the midget dog to come towards her. As she planned, it did. She took a few bits of the chicken and ate it quietly before giving the plate to the dog. Roger, the dog wolfed down nearly everything in just a few minutes. "Good dog." she praised. Placing the plate on the counter she rushed upstairs again, expecting her aunt to clean up after her.

Next post i'm gonna skip to sometime after school again. I'm confused where everyone is with time.

(http://static.desktopnexus.com/thumbnails/330680-bigthumbnail.jpg]http://static.desktopnexus.com/thumbnails/330680-bigthumbnail.jpg)

(I have trouble with the whole pic thing.)
Name: Aedan Polar.
Codename: Justicar.
Age: Presumed 18
Gender: "Is it not obvious that I am a guy!? Really!? What is this world coming to!?"
History: "The day I remember what happened before Phenomeon, Bacon will taste bad."
Aedan Polar lost his family at a young age to disease, though it's presumed that he poisoned them. His home environment was horrible. His parents fought constantly, punished him for no reason, barely remembered to feed him, and didn't watch over him, ever. One day he ran to the bathroom crying after an unprovoked assault from his father, when he saw the rat poison. He waited until one day, when his parents had told him to make the table while they were "busy". While they were so blissfully unaware, Aedan Polar was relishing the moment when they took their first bite. His parents ended up dead, and he was in a better place. But with one murder, comes another. Aedan soon got into the habit of killing people he thought had wronged him. Then Phenomeon came, with an offer he couldn't refuse. His very first kill for the organization was when he was twelve. It's been six years since then, and fourteen years since the murder of his parents. He has become successful in Phenomeon.

Personality: "Whatever fits my sense of Justice is the most righteous cause." Aedan Polar is thoroughly insecure. You mess with  his life, he'll screw up yours. When it comes to killing, he approaches it rather casually. When he kill's, it's usually by staging accidents or sicknesses. Dislike and like are not in his vocabulary. He either hates you or adores you, there's no grey shade. To his friends he can be care-free, devious, good-humored, and honest. To his enemies, he is deceitful, confrontational, irritable, and stubborn. When it comes to the messed-up little family he is in, he is loyal, brave, honest, caring, helpful, and supportive. He always helps his fellow murder's when they ask, and has a habit to stick up for the small man.

Likes: Music, killing, jokes, guns, poison, honesty.
Dislikes: Deceit, bullying, abuse, tyranny, failure, and over-confidence.
Theme song:

Other: Cyanide Sunshine
By the way, I haven't read anyone's history or personality, I prefer to learn that through roleplay.

(( Aedan looks a bit like Len~
Unless the picture IS Len xD))

Natalie stared at Tamah with well hidden awe as her fingers flew over the gadget in her hands. She was incredibly fast and knowledgable when it came to technology, the albino knew, but it was more suprising when you saw it in person. In a matter of a few minutes, the dark-haired girl was showing whatever was on the screen to Scythe. Natalie tipped her body to the side to get a good look at the screen as well, curious. As she analyzed the picture on the screen, Tamah explained that the figure now represented the new "culprit", Clara Devinch. Natalie nodded, noting that even though the tech-geek had only made the figure taller and altered the facial features slightly, the girl on the screen now looked nothing like Scythe. Yes, the Domino Effect was very talented when it came to this. It must come in handy in her assassinations...
"Hmm..." She turned to look at Jared, or at least at the spot where he once stood.

He seemed to be helping a young man who had knocked over some guns on a rack. Natalie hoped in the back of her head that none of the guns had been damaged, mostly because she recalled her handgun being in or around that rack. She couldn't quite remember, she hadn't used the weapon in a long time, and probably wouldn't be bothered to use it anytime soon. The white-haired girl turned back to Tamah and Scythe, "I'm glad you could do that," She said quietly, "It'd be unfortunate if we had a new recruit only to have them arrested soon after." Natalie turned to Scythe, a smirk curling across her lips. "Not that we'd have any trouble getting you out right away if you did get arrested." The emotion on her face faded as fast as it appeared.

She looked around the dim room as if looking for what to say next. Her eyes travelled back to the redhead, "Since your new, I suppose you'd want to look around the base a bit? We can show you around." She tried to make the offer as casual as possible, which was a bit difficult for her. The alibno certainly wasn't used to be friendly, or willingly socializing, but with people from Phenomenon she usually made a point of treating them "nicely."

Well, as nice as the seemingly emotionless girl could manage.

Sorry for the inactivity, it's just the end of the quarter for me and I've had a buttload of homework and stuff to take care of, so this is kinda rushed, but I don't want to hold anyone back. I hope I didn't inconvenience anyone >A<)).

Scythe felt socially awkward once more, not sure how to reply to Natalie's little 'invitation.' She guessed that the proper thing to say would be 'yes,' but she did not really want to be shown around... She preferred to be alone to avoid further stimulation. She coughed slightly, partly from the smoke that still remained in her lungs and partly for the sake of coughing, and then decided to change the subject, even though the situation didn't really call for such a thing.

'Er...so do you all have codenames or something? Sorry if it's a stupid question, I just know what I would want mine to be...,' she wondered, her voice quiet.

She scolded herself for asking such an idiotic question, facepalming mentally. The redhead just figured that if they were such a secret organisation, they might as well have codenames. Also, she really liked the sound of the codename she had picked for herself.

Scythe wondered whether or not to remove her hat, since it really was the polite thing to do, especially when this group of people seemed so accepting (this sentence will make more sense later). She really did not want to wear such a clunky hat anymore, but she had trained by her mother NEVER to EVER remove any clothing that covered the top of her head. This was rather uncomfortable for Scythe, since she had to wear her hat to bed just so her mother could pretend the redhead was a NORMAL human being. However, everyone at school knew this wasn't true, and contrary to most school regulations, she was required to wear a hat at all times to avoid distracting any other students...
Scythe decided she didn't even give a -Removed by Moderator- what people thought anymore. That life was done. She was never going to school, and never going home to her mother again.

'Oh, and I"m gonna take off my hat,' she added, even though this did not really need to be stated.

When she took off her hat, her hair was extremely poofy, stray strands of hair sticking up as if she had been electrocuted. She quickly grabbed a hairbrush out of her sweatshirt pocket and brushed it down, her dark ears pressed back against her forehead, their fur also ruffled. When she finished, she pulled her hair back in a quick sort-of bun. She perked up her auburn canine ears, that had rested on the top of her head since she had been four.

However, she pretended as if they weren't there, since she had sort of made a big deal about them, and didn't want to come across as attention starved.

'I don't wanna be rude or anything, but is it okay if I just explore a little bit? This is kinda overwhelming, and all these people aren't helping. It was nice to meet you, though,' she said brightly. 'Oh, and thanks for framing someone else for me, Tamah. I'll pay ya' back for that sometime, I promise. So, I owe you a favour.'

Scythe drifted off towards the bedrooms, wanting to choose one for herself. Suddenly, she recalled that she had left her things at school, and panic struck her. Her phone was in there, and a lot of her poisons! It would NOT be good if they were burned, and even worse, if they were found as evidence. That would be an utter disaster! It should have occured to her earlier, she could have told someone so they could erase the evidence! The redhead pulled her ears down in frustration, gritting her teeth and letting out a moan of anger and worry.

However, she was relieved to see her school bag and black box laying quietly on a rather bland bunk with black sheets and reddish wood. She sighed a deep sigh of relief, and almost cried from the sheer emotion she had felt earlier. She checked her bag, and found the key to the black box as well as a note inside.

The note basically explained all the details of Phenomenon, with a strange signature at the end that Scythe could not read. The only thing that really concerned her was the last bit:

'P.S. Check inside the box.'

After attempting to lift the top of the box, she found it was locked tight. She searched all around for the key, but only after leaning down to look under the bed did she see the onyx and ivory key, dangling from her neck, as if mocking her. She wondered how the object had gotten there, as well as how it had acquired a string, but decided it was no use pondering, and decided to open the chest.

Although, before she could do so, a loud rumble shook the whole base.

((Also, no one has to answer the codenames thing, since she assumed that no one had code names. She'll figure it out soon enough, though)).

{{Cool.  Well, here goes nothing.  Charles has entered the premises.}}

Charles Benedict
==>Blindside

(http://rocket-surgery.webs.com/charlesedited.jpg)

Name: Charles Benedict

Codename: Blindside

Age: 22

Gender: Male

History: Growing up, he bounced from psychologist office to psychologist office in his parents desperate hope to get a clear answer on what was wrong with him; they never got a solid answer.  What they didn't know was that Charles led all of them on, showing symptoms of different diagnosis for each new doctor he saw, leading to an eventual admission of defeat from his family.  So off to boarding school he went, where he repeatedly had religious materials quoted at him, and he generally drove the teachers insane with his many sins.  His roommate never spoke to anyone about what happened when they shared a room, and Charles suspected he never would, nor would he ever recover mentally.  Eventually graduating, he cut ties with his family and got a gig as a bartender for a popular club, coming up with fake documents to say he was twenty-one.  One day, however, without him knowing, he was suddenly part of another family.  One bound by blood, but in a stronger sense than his parents.

Personality: A rather self-centered and selfish being, Charles cares only for himself.  Whatever little fence in peoples brains stop them from doing truly horrible things does not exist in him.  He understands right from wrong.  He just finds the wrong to be much more entertaining and beneficial for him.  Suave when he needs to be, he is good at playing the charming gentleman to get others to trust him, just to make the inevitable betrayal that much sweeter.  He's an expert at pretending to be normal, wearing it as a mask so he survives his other job, that of a bartender in a popular club.  His laid-back manner of speech puts people at ease, making his more important job easier.  Besides, he likes to play with his victims before he finally grants them the mercy of death.  He clings to the old values of cleansing the human race, but enjoys the random pointless slaughter as well.  Blood is blood, after all.  And the family that kills together . . .

Likes:
+Anyone and everyone
+The thrill of first blood
+Hurting those he gets to trust him
+Leading the law on a merry chase
+Any type of rope, since it is ever so useful
+Darwinism, the stupid killing themselves off
+A good stiff drink

Dislikes:
-Surveillance cameras, always making his job harder
-Dogs, those blasted mutts always seem to take a disliking to him
-High-and-mighty good Samaritans, they just aid the problem he wants to solve
-Law enforcement actually doing a good job
-Most carbonated beverages

Hobbies: Mixing drinks, smoking, surfing, people-watching, murdering and pillaging (less of the pillaging, stronger on the murder), charming the maidens (or gentlemen, equal opportunity and all that rot), buying spools of rope “just in case.”

Theme Song: Muse – Butterflies and Hurricanes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hucz0qsXEUQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hucz0qsXEUQ)

Extra: He doesn't consider it an ability, but that's because he's always been able to do it.  He's able to talk almost anyone into doing whatever he wants.  It's caused by subtle harmonies in his voice that pretty much hypnotize the target, getting them to obey his every command, even if it is something they would normally not do.  Only those whose brains work differently (ex. autistic or other brain abnormalities) are immune.

((@ToastAccepted >A< Another very creative character!

I really like the theme song-Muse is awesome c: I can't wait to see your roleplay posts. Oh, and you can choose another codename now. You are now part of Phenomenon.

Have foooon! I mean, fun.

@Tomas

I haven't added him to the character list, because, I'm sorry, but I can't fully accept him until you do three things:

1. Center your application
2. Put image brackets around the image link, like so:

Code: [Select]
[img]-place image link here-[/img]
3. Read over the rules again, and then look over your application again. You seem to be forgetting something...

Don't get me wrong, I want to accept you, and your character is rather creative. I'm glad you've joined, but I really can't accept someone unless I'm 100% sure they've read the rules. I believe you are telling the truth, but I just want to be completely sure that you know what's going on in this roleplay so you aren't confused, or write a post that's too short.

Also, I aplogise I haven't added the new characters to the laundry cycle yet, I DO have a life, and please be patient. I am sorry for making you all wait.))

((@Toast
It's not too risque .-. This roleplay IS rated R, and even if it's for gore, the risque parts were mostly implied. If one is not mature enough to grasp the concept, they would not think anything of it.

Personally, I really enjoyed reading your intro c: Also, you didn't have to read all the past posts if you didn't want to-I could've filled you in, if you wanted.))

((:D Toast, amaishing charrie!~ I love Muse too (that reminds me I need to find a song that fits Jared. T-T But nothing fits him very well xD)! And don't worry about your post; Radioactive is right, the RP is rated R- everyone was warned. And aw, you found Jared's coat. xD That's a good thing, too, since the person who was going to RP chasing after it hasn't been around lately.

And speaking of not being around, anyone seen Tangledmask? Kinda waiting for him/her to post; I'm a little stalled in being engaged with an RP with Jack. .c. But if Tangled's not around for a while, I might just go on and RP off Scythe's actions, and maybe interact with Tamah and Nat.

By thee way, the rumble that shakes the base means what, exactly? Earthquake? Attack? Alarms going to start blaring?Do other things follow the rumble? Should we go... man battle stations? xD))

[[I've been trying to post for the longest time but the site has been giving me errors left and right. >u<;'
@Toast & Tomas: Welcome to Phenomenon! Thank you Toast for having your character interact with Elinor. This would be interesting. ]]

(http://www.marheavenj.net/dlanor/codes/ico6.png) Elinor Knox (http://www.marheavenj.net/dlanor/codes/ico8.png)

The soft fabric brushed against my finger tips as I held out my hand, trying to reach for the escaping coat. Several minutes have been wasted thus far trying to capture the fleeing culprit against the winds that blows eastward but thankfully, it hasn’t traveled so far off from the building. My gold eyes squinted at the sunlight’s rays that glare into my vision and thus blurring it temporarily, I always did prefer the nighttime. They always said the purest form of death is by the moonlight where the firelights light up around the corpse’s grave. I stretched out my fingers as my right arm twitched, wanting to transform after the earlier punishment and I can only presume that my arm has a mind of it’s own. A rush of summer wind blew over as the Victorian styled coat blew away from the rooftop and I held my breath, I shouldn’t have been distracting myself yet again! I quickly ran across the rooftop, to the edge, and jumped onto the railing and began to jump across rooftops with my heels clicking along the concrete flooring and causing the birds to flutter away even if they’re a couple of feet away. My breath was short and quick, wanting more air as my lungs were heavy and the adrenaline rushing throughout my body.  The murmurs of the citizens below, the honking from cars, and the fitful cries of birds could only add to the chase and are bothersome but there isn’t any time to bicker mentally on such noises.

The wind took the coat to a quick right and with a quick stop and twist at my heel; I was too going in the same direction with my purple curls up in a mess that could have even made me look like a savage that emerged from the depths of a forest. I grabbed onto a railing of an outside staircase, it was connected to other windows and it would have made for easy theft but I don’t have time to bar windows. With a quick bent of my knees, I allowed the bottom of my boots to glide down the railing with my arm still extended out to reach the nuisance of the fleeing coat. Nearby, there was a sudden sound of brakes being applied to an obnoxiously orange vehicle and unfortunately, the coat was near its windshield. A rather large figure emerged from the vehicle, took the coat, and this could only mean trouble. I couldn’t identify who this man was and I don’t even know his pretentions for taking the coat. Maybe it was a benevolent patron that understood the liberty of chivalric acts or a conniving man who seek payment for the retrieval of the missing garment. I snapped my finger as my right arm alchemized into a blade as I muttered out a simple Latin phrase and the blade to appear to take on the form of a guillotine blade. The blade caught hold of a vertical pole that supported the raised staircase as I spun and landed onto the alleyway with dust surrounding me. I coughed and waved my hand around my face, trying to avoid any loud noises.

I soon made a quick approach to the orange jeep while I tried to organize my posture but also my hair, not everyone wants to look like havoc when meeting others. The man was pressing himself against the door with possibly a smug look or so, the dust from earlier was diluting my perception. In all honesty, I couldn't even tell who this man was but as I approach closer, I just might.

I've been wanting to post but haven't found the time. I got something due tomorrow but i'm struggling to get an answer for it so ))

Another simple day at school, Iris was sitting calmly under a large tree during lunch break. Claire, Sophie and a bunch of kids all laughed and talked together near the tree. The brunette hid her face behind her book, she could hear them perfectly. What a fantastic evening this will be. "I'm picking Sophie up and we're going to the party at like seven and coming back at around nine or nine-thirty." Claire announced. "Perfect!" Iris whispered to herself, a sly smile appeared on her face.

After school she rushed straight for exit, as usual, avoiding a corridor blockage. The exit was approaching her fast, suddenly two legs appeared in front of her. She wasn't going to fall for this again. Iris leaped from a meter away and attempted to land on both their shins. Success! The two girls collapsed and nearly fell down the stairs, Iris simply leaped off their shins and landed astonishingly on both her feet at the bottom of the stairs. She looked back and merely laughed at the two. "You -Removed by Moderator-!" Sophie called out before rubbing her shin better. "Oh no! Are you going to the party with a bruise? Oh you poor little thing." Iris laughed again before running out the school gates. That left her in a good mood. She continued on to the Phenomenon headquarters, at her pace she would arrive there in under an hour.
She checked her watch, 4:06 pm it was. Plenty of time. Finally she arrived at a familiar looking place. A few hills and a little abandoned hut. Well, that's how most would see it.
She skipped cheerfully towards the hut, stopping to a halt when she approached the door. It asked for a password, "Very well then." Iris then typed in the digits before entering the hut. A large breeze flew at her and threw her hair back, soon a room of guns was revealed. She saw a familiar face, was that Jack? Another gentleman was with him on the ground, it appeared that someone had knocked the weapons over. "Hello there, is that you Jacqueline?" she asked. Iris looked at the the other gentleman and gave a polite smile. She stood straight and held her hands behind her back, "Hi, i'm Iris. Who might you be?" she asked, still smiling.

I wonder when TangleMask is going to post again ))

(http://data.whicdn.com/images/26930322/joker_by_iya_chen-d4tbzk2_large.png) -≫: -The young man's slim fingers pulled the last of the guns off the floor, and placed them neatly back onto the shelf in which they had originally been sitting on before the other young member's unfortunate scuffle. Jared became slightly more concerned when the blond didn't respond, but he decided not to press it. Certain people just weren't into sharing, and he could respect that. Besides, he wasn't that much different himself.

-Jared picked up the last of the guns, and held the cold, lean barrel in his hands. He half-consciously inspected it, and then held it out away from him, aiming it at nothing in particular (but carefully away from the others just in case), testing it's weight and comfort in his own hands. He closed one eye, and stared down its barrel, before letting out a small sigh and dropping his arm back to his side. He mumbled something to himself almost wistfully about shooting it, before returning it to the gun rack.

- "There we go," Jared noted half to himself, and then turned to the blond, "no worries about knocking anything over." Jace allowed them both an attempted gentle smile- hopefully not as distorted as the one he had managed before- before repeating to him with concern, "You are, alright, yes?"

-A movement to his right in his peripheral vision; a flicker of flaming orange hair. Jared turned his head to see the action more clearly, and noticed the young girl, introduced as Scythe, pull off her aviator's hat. While Jared had been helping pick up the scattered guns, he'd been partially aware of the conversation from the little group continue on, and hadn't paid much mind to it. But now, he was wondering if he had missed something extremely important...

... because the girl, looking slightly nervous, had pulled off her hat to reveal a set of reddish- colored, furred, ears.

 -≫: -Normally, Jared wasn't one to openly show emotions, and especially reactions. He was a very low reactive person, and generally kept his facial expression and body signs to a low minimum, or subtle display. But this... seeing ears, caused his  hazel eyes to somewhat widen in surprise, brows to tense, and jaw to slack. Of course, he quickly recovered from the surprise, and gather himself back together, but he was still a little shaken from the sight of the girl walk off with furred ears on her head.

-How on earth...?he thought, watching Scythe walk away, leaving the others in an air of shocked and quite awkward silence as she went. Now, there were some unusual things going on in Phenomenon... things that really were a phenomenon ((OMG I just got that. LOLZ.)), but he was still skeptical to believe in any of it as something more than a strange occurrence, or something caused by mere chance. Most of the things he had just waved away, and tried to dismiss with a simple, rational reason. But the ears on this girl- which were definitely not fake for they were disturbingly too life-like to be so- couldn't be explained by science or logic. Was he going mad?

-Before Jace could try to comprehend it all, and figure out if he was really loosing it all, the entire Phenomenon base suddenly lurched and rumbled. Instinctively, Jared spread out his arms and switch the stance of his legs to balance himself, at the same time swinging his head around to look at the quaking base. An earthquake? ... Where they under attack?! No, they were too safe here to be under attack, and the alarms would have at least gone off if they had been discovered, and worse, breached. It was just an earthquake...

-And then the recently re-stocked gun rack beside him rattled, and the arms spilled out and back onto the floor, clattering and banging into each other, adding their mocking metallic laughter to the chorus of rumbling and crashing of everything else falling around them.

"Oh, really? You've got to be kidding me..."

(( D":  S'alright about Ol Sandy. It can't be helped~ Just stay safe.
O_O I kept typing Nat's name as "Nancy" because my friend's name is Nancy...))
Alright, so...
This redhead had been accepted into Phenomenon, set a school on fire, and on top of that had a set of dark coppery ears sticking up from her hair. Seems legit. Phenomenon has a habit of choosing the crazies... Natalie had to admit that she herself wasn't exactly sane. She gave no reaction besides fixating her cold eyes on the twitching, life-like ears that seemed to have grown on Scythe's head. She didn't question or comment on them, just simply observed in puzzled (albeit well hidden) silence. I wonder if it feels weird? She's probably used to them by now, though... Natalie thought curiously, rubbing the back of her leg with her heel. She fished a leaf out of her white locks and nodded absently as Scythe said that she would much rather explore the place on her own. Natalie didn't care much either way, and earlier she was worried she would have to keep watching over the redhead, but it seemed like Scythe would be just fine on her own. Once the canine-eared girl drifted away toward the bedrooms, Natalie turned to Tamah and opened her mouth to say something to her.

Most of the members at this particular Phenemenon base knew the whereabouts of the closest pentagrams. These pentagrams were a crucial part to the system, as the commissioners would place notes with information about the target at them. It was a way for the assassin and commissioner to contact eachother anonymously, at least on the assassin's part. One of these pentagrams were placed in very close proximity to the now in-ashes school, so close that it probably disappeared along with the rest of it. A school might have been a strange, risky place to put a pentagram, but that it precisely what kept it well hidden. It had to be hard to find and in a place where no one would think it would be in, but not entirely unreachable. Natalie was planning on visiting that certain pentagram today, since she already attended the school and she usually picked up a good amounts of the notes left there. She would later give them to whoever was at the base. Natalie figured that one person would be less suspicious than a string of questionable people sneaking into the school to visit the same place. If anyone caught her staying after school for no reason, she could always put up the innocent school girl act.

Before she could open her mouth to relay this information to Tamah, Time-Slicer (again, she forgot the actual name) entered the base. Then a roaring rumble caused the entire base to tremble and a faint gasp to escape her mouth. "What the...?" The albino leaned against a wall for leverage, literally watching the ground pitch and swirl at her feet. She closed her eyes, calming her mind to try and figure out what this was. Not an attack, there's no way anyone could have found us here. An earthquake then... Makes sense. Being built into the side of a hill didn't help the base's hopeless shaking. The guns on the rack clattered to the ground again, adding to the uproar of the rumbles and voices of confused people in their bedrooms. Natalie let out a sigh. Although the sudden quivering was alarming, the base was made of some pretty strong metal that could withstand the earth's trembles. There was no need to evacuate, or worry... Right?

I am now able to post!))

Tamah had been too busy tampering with the little gadget in her hands to notice the hesitant look Scythe was wearing, only glancing up when she announced she was taking her hat off. Mostly because it seemed like such an odd thing to say, it wasn't like taking off one's hat required some sort of ritual or anything, but when the hat was removed Tamah now understood clearly the reason for such an announcement. It was a major surprise, though her own shock wasn't quite like Jared's or Natalie's silent one. They were adorable! Especially how they moved! The gadget-geek had the urge to run forward and feel them with her own fingers, she just had to know if they were real or not. Yes, she had a suspicion that they were considering how well they moved like an animals, but also she believed they could be well programmed and made using chips, codes, wires, and special cloth. Oh if that were true, she would just have to figure out how they worked! But Tamah resisted the urge. It'd only be rude, not to mention hypocritical since she herself hated to be touched, or having personal space invaded. But questions were harmless, and she so badly wanted to ask but before she could Scythe had left to do her own exploring. Even without answers to her own questions.

"Oh, see you later then!" Tamah called after. Ah well, no matter. All of this was very likely overwhelming and a lot to take in, there was plenty of time for her to ask the new member questions since she was now part of the family. Speaking of which, another fellow member showed up. Hm, perhaps now was the time to consider getting better with names, because she couldn't really remember them, either. Only their appearance stuck out, which was partially because the way they usually wore their hair up. Such as instead of wearing a regular and common pony-tail they had it to the side. Her attention seemed more focused on the male who had knocked over the gun racks, though Tamah still offered a light wave of her hand with a placid expression to be polite. At least there was a name labeled on the clumsy gentleman, but she was rather sad to see that he kept quiet even after Jared helped him out. Shy, perhaps?

Tamah's attention was caught when she noticed Natalie turn toward her, becoming curious when it looked like she was about to tell her something but the response never came when the whole building began to shake. Just like the others, Tamah was completely caught by surprise... but she was also excited. "Woo!" she cried, spreading her legs apart while turning her upper body to the side, raising her left arm before her and bending it with the other trailing behind. "Check it out, it's like surfing on the ground!" Of course it wasn't really, but as she moved her legs along with the shaking ground it actually did appear for a moment she was riding waves instead, only stumbling a few times but otherwise seeming balanced.

When the tremors subsided, the young woman actually seemed disappointed. She shrugged it off quickly, though, suddenly donning on a more neutral expression once again while returning to a normal stance, as if nothing had happened. Swiftly her hand raised to lower a kind of band from her head set, likely to be mistaken as the one that held it together ((you know the part that rests on your head with each "ear piece" at it's end?)), until it completely covered her eyes. First she only saw darkness, blinking repeatedly in habit to adjust her eyes but soon lights glowed within the band and in a matter of seconds she was in the world of technology. On the outside to those observing her, they were excluded from that world and couldn't see what she saw, only catching her hands making strange movements as if she were moving invisible objects.

"Well, that wasn't an earthquake," Tamah said aloud. "There aren't any news reports and there's no shifting in the ground. The tremor wasn't really strong enough, either. There's a overhanging cliff nearby, though, and a rock slide just happened."

Name: Jacki
Codename: Saiko Cyanide Sunshine
Age: Twelve
Gender: Female
History: Her parents were in the Cult, and she was born into it. She's highly psychopathic now, and used to all of it. Saiko believes its what all kids go through and its the 'good' side.
Personality: Sociophopathic, cruel, curious and inquisitive. She is confused by what scraps of information she can get from her staticky little T.V.. She has questions like 'Since when is killing bad?' and 'Why is saving a life good?' The most confusing thing she finds are the cartoons. Why do the bad guys always win? Why do the good guys go to jail? Those things are just annoying. Saiko just can't figure out the outside world, why do the other children run from her? In her mind the world is upside-down. The people who save others should go to jail, in her twisted little mind.
Likes : Sweet foods, others her age in the Cult, her weapon, which is the pole-blade. (A staff with a blade on each end)
Dislikes: Those outside the Cult, laundry, anything pill-like and most cartoons and outside fables.
Hobbies: Listening to music, gaming, practicing with her poleblade and sketching.
Theme Song: Bad apple or iNSaNitY

Sorry for my DAYS of inactivity! Still solving problem with pic to no avail. And BTW Radioactive, anyone born outside my country is lucky. In my country, election season comes and the moment one guy wins everyone has to line up on street sides holding up posters for the other guy! Youtube has nothing but election season ads. Over all, I hate the politics of my country. I honestly thought the whole ONE FREAKING RULER was a good idea. With one person controlling a nation, you do not have constant bickering over politics, things get done faster and are much more simple. If only my government could realize that.

And I'm blabbing a bit to much OOC. Still trying to sort my characters pic out. Thank you for waiting!))

My gawd I got so far behind. I'll try to prevent this from happening in the future T^T)

"I'm fine. Just... Had a wardrobe malfunction," The young blonde joked nervously, fixing the weaponry on the racks next to him. With a sigh, he pat the guns, still upset he had caused them to fall. Jacqueline would make it up to the owners later by cleaning them. That sounded reasonable. "Thank you," His silver eyes glanced over at the taller male standing in front of him. No doubt a Phenomenon member, seeing as they were at headquarters. His name wasn't clicking inside the teen's head. Scratching his head sheepishly, Jacqueline fixed himself, pulling his pants up and patting off unseen dust from his body.

At the sound of his name being said, the blonde turned to see Iris and he smiled lightly. "Hey Iris," His silence returned as a slight awkwardness fell over him. Again, the guns seem to have fallen and Jacqueline went right to picking them up. Each action was hesitant as he placed them on their shelves. Pale hands lingered for a bit, making sure the weaponry stayed put. "Stay," His voice was soft, almost like talking to a dog, that you couldn't yell at, that just wanted to follow you. This habit repeated every so often, trying to make extra sure that they wouldn't topple over again.

"I uhm..." The teen turned towards the two and tried to speak. "I best be off. I have an assignment that I should begin prepping for and such," Jacqueline bowed his head. "Thank you again," With that, he mumbled a quick excuse me, and hurried off in the direction he was heading. The poor teen felt embarrassed a bit. Not only had old habits returned, mumbling to inanimate objects, but also he had made a fool of himself in front of the others. With a sigh, he slowed down his pace and walked along the halls. Right now he should be worrying about his assignment. The next person who was going to die by the hands of Jacqueline Micheal Fawn.

I love how everyone's characters are so unique here as well, there's like hardly any resemblance save for them all being completely insane lol I especially love Jared's skill at fencing <3

As for getting them all to meet up, I was actually considering if they could all head to dinner or something? I was also thinking that perhaps they could all set out on a mission together as training for Scythe since she's new, or if they have a training course they could do that instead and see her skills so they know how to put it to use in future missions. I also believe Iris and Jacqueline already have missions in mind..? Would either or both of them like any help, and then perhaps we could be split into two groups so not everyone is crowded..?
Tamah could actually help monitor both parties instead of one :3 But that's only if they even want help and are doing the missions solo haha.))

That would be great :D I shall make my post then, it won't be very long though. Maybe after a conversation we could head to the training rooms or dinner, it would be good for Iris to practice a bit before starting the mission at 7))

Both the young gentleman said hello, that pleased her. Most of the time when she would say hello to people they would ignore her. That's why she loved the Phenomenon members, they were family and friends to her. Not snobs or a bunch of ungrateful beings. She smiled at Jack as he replied, the gun-rack fell down unexpectedly and startled her. Perhaps that was the second time it fell? Might explain why they're both on the ground, she thought to herself. It felt a bit awkward standing there watching the two clean up the mess, she thought for a while wondering if she should help or not. Too late, that time had passed. The guns were already placed on their racks, neatly and "professionally" done. Her blue looked up at Jacqueline as he stood up and walked off, leaving his few words. She looked back at the other boy and smiled, "I also best be off, I have an assignment I plan on starting tonight. Good bye for now thed." Iris smiled and walked past the lad, her hands still behind her back. Iris felt as those last words of hers were a bit silly, she could've done better. She turned her head over her shoulder and checked if he was watching before giving herself a face palm.

The girl skipped down the hall to where she her most favourite of weapons are, she looked down each doorway she passed. A sight she saw through one certain door caught her attention, she slowed her pace and stepped back a bit to align her vision with the doorway. A large computer room, something she hadn't noticed before. Was this door closed when she last came? Quietly, Iris entered the room and observed the computer screens. The screens lightened her pale face and her eyes looked as if they were glowing. They flashed a magnificent crystal blue each time she blinked before toning down again. Iris observed every computer screen in front of her, interested in the activities she could see.

((Is the young girl suppose to be Tamah? If so I'm afraid Tamah has actually been in the same room as everyone else, where Iris was, Jacqueline before he left, Jared, Natalie, and where Scythe was at first as well but now isn't, where all the weapons are ^.^'

However, you don't have to change the post completely. I can simply have Tamah go to that room shortly after Iris had arrived, so really all you'd have to change are those two last sentences in your post, either deleting them or just edit them slightly :3

I'm still going to wait a bit more before posting [giving Radioactive a chance to post, along with Soar and Toast. Is Okami still in the RP? She hasn't posted in a long while...]. While I do, would Iris like more help for her mission or would Tamah's help be enough? If the first, anymore volunteers? Perhaps they could follow after Tamah/Tamah could drag them along with her to the room Iris is in currently? xD

Sorry, just looking for opportunities for everyone to be able to RP together and have characters interact ^.^' There's still Jacqueline's mission as well, though I'm still unaware of what his plan is~))

Lifting the band away from her eyes, Tamah blinked a few times to grow accustomed to the real world again, banishing away the millions of lights away until next time. The present assembly was still around, except it appeared that both the silent young gentleman and the other girl had left. Where was that Natalie person at, though? Oh, there she is. Tamah recalled that she wanted to tell her something before all the interruptions took place, perhaps she would like to talk now? Of course she very likely forgotten the subject or didn't want to bother with it anymore, but it never hurt to be polite.

Tamah walked towards the rather impassive looking person, which perhaps some may not do as they'd feel rather intimidated by such a gaze but the techno-geek hardly seemed to mind. In fact, she met the gaze with a soft smile, nothing big just polite. "Hey," she greeted. "I don't know if you still had something to tell me or not, but if you do, we can talk now that things have settled down for the most part. Do you mind if we do it in the Computer Room, though? That is if you still want to chat in the first place."

With a half-bow to excuse herself and pardon her behavior for not waiting on an answer, Tamah turned  to start heading down the hall. She felt sorry that she couldn't really wait, but she hadn't checked the monitors in the room yet for sometime and something could have popped up. Though she could always check her own device but just being surrounded by the wide screens, flashing lights, and hearing the beats put such comfort on her that she wouldn't be able to feel it anywhere else, like being in her own mother's arms again. They reminded her of her family, so it'd make sense. Arriving at the door now, Tamah entered though had paused soon after, a look of puzzlement mixed with curiosity shining in her eyes.

Something was there that hadn't been there before. Tamah of all people would know that, she knew every square inch of this room so well that she'd be able to detect a misplaced crumb in a second, without even having to see it first. However, this wasn't a misplaced crumb and it wasn't hidden from sight. Actually, it stood before her quite obviously that a blind person would be able to tell.

"Hey," Tamah finally spoke. "What are you doing here?"

Tamah wasn't really fond of having someone else be in the Computer Room when she wasn't there. To her it was like leaving children with a complete stranger. It wasn't that she didn't trust her fellow Brothers and Sisters, it was that she was afraid they wouldn't know what they were doing and accidentally mess something up or damage the defenseless, fragile contraptions. Though seeing this person inside now, she wasn't angry or upset but again, mostly curious. And it only looked like she was standing there, no damage was done to the computers. Tamah would know. Carefully she maneuvered around the girl, whom she now realized was the one who had been at the entrance with them not so long ago. Why was she here? As she waited for the girl to respond, Tamah looked over her lovelies fondly, moving her hands over the keyboards, buttons, and just about everything else as if seeing them for the very first time. From before the largest of the screens, the young woman pulled out a wheeled, cushioned chair, taking a seat comfortably. When not on a mission or some other activity, this was where one would usually find Tamah. Even though she had her own room, there was one space at one corner where a pillow and blanket laid, for Tamah often fell asleep though sometimes it'd be right where she was sitting rather than that spot.

With fingers twitching to begin their work, the black-haired female couldn't yet begin. Her attention was still towards the unidentified member, turning her seat around so she could properly face her. Eyes carefully looking her over in consideration, she waited for the answers to come.

(( LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED AGAIN MOFOS ))

Natalie huffed as the tremors subsided, blowing ivory bangs out of her eyes. She stood without the support of the wall now, the "earthquake" quickly pushed to the back of her mind as she watched Tamah slip a band connected to her headset over her eyes. The dark-haired girl seemed to be absorbed in her own personal dimension, moving around non-existent objects she could see through the band over her eyes. Tamah confirmed that the cause of the tremor was not an earthquake but simply a rock slide from a bluff nearby. "Ah," Natalie acknowledged, somewhat glad to know that it wasn't something that could cause as much damage as an earthquake would.

The albino let her attention slip away for a moment, back over to the two young men adjusting the guns on the rack for seemed like the--second, third?-- time. As soon as they were firmly in place, the younger of the two who she could identify as Trigger Fingers, bid farewell and beat a hasty retreat, making Natalie wonder what he was in such a hurry for. She didn't ponder too long though, for Tamah caught her attention by her simple greeting, "Hey,"

Grey eyes met with a small smile, not overly stretched and elastic, just polite. Natalie's eyebrows raised slightly as a way of saying "What?"
"I don't know if you still had something to tell me or not, but if you do, we can talk now that things have settled down for the most part. Do you mind if we do it in the Computer Room, though? That is if you still want to chat in the first place." With that, Tamah gave a small bow and went on down the hall.
The albino blinked and nodded, answering softly, "Yes, there was something I needed to tell you." She wondered why in the Computer Room, though. It was probably just more comfortable for the technology-obsessed assassin, but Natalie had only visited it a couple of times. Nevertheless, she followed Tamah down the whole toward the wing where the Computer Room was. "You see, with the school burned down we've lost one pentagram, and the closest one to the base at that." She explained absently, her eyes darting around the vacant hallway. Usually it was more crowded or noisy than this, what with being infested with homicidal maniacs, but it was eerily silent besides the two girls' footsteps. Noticing the long pause, Natalie finished off her sentence, "I was wondering if you knew of any places we could hide a new pentagram?"

Before Tamah could answer, they entered the Computer Room. Natalie was greeted by a staccato of beeps and glowing screen lights invading her light sensitive eyes. She squeezed her eyes shut and blinked a couple of times to get used to it. Once she was over the initial discomfort, she took a moment to admire the vast amount of equipment gathered here. It was almost mesmerizing, the way floor was a maze of wires and cords and the way the walls seemed to be wallpapered in computer screens.

The other thing that caught her eye was that Timer-Slicer was in there as well. Tamah promptly asked what she was doing in there, but she didn't seem upset at all, just purely curious. The dark-haired girl strolled past the monitors, hands gliding lovingly over the equipment as if they were puppies or kittens. Natalie's grey eyes regarded Time-Slicer with an impassive stare, silently asking what she was doing as well.

Some of the buttons on the keyboards began to flash a lime green, then stopped. The flashing repeated itself again and again. A few quiet footsteps were approaching her, then a voice. She was startled and almost let out a gasp. A girl about her age maneuvered past her, she realized she was blocking the entry to the room. Iris quickly moved out of the doorway just as someone else entered the room. "Oh, sorry. This room caught my eye as I was walking past. I don't think I have noticed it before." she said to Tamah. She gave a little smile before looking at Natalie who appeared to be looking at her. It didn't bother her but she merely looked back at the computer screens, more of what Tamah was doing. Iris tried to make out the time, judging by one of the clocks on the computer screens. Almost 6 o'clock, I better start training. "I have planned to start my assignment at around 7 tonight, I plan to start training before then." she said.

((As much as I hate to say it, I don't think we should wait on Toast anymore Dx
Not unless we want the RP to die...

This might be a bit sloppy as I try getting back into RPing with Tamah, so forgive me if the reply sucks! D:))

When the stranger spoke her answer, a smile of gratitude grew upon Tamah's features. "Fascinating, isn't it?" she said with shameless pride. Turning in her chair, the computer maniac began typing away at the keyboard, her fingers flying effortlessly across the numerous keys. "There's a few places we can place a pentagram. There's an alleyway between a bakery and antique shop, one we could put near a library, and then one other around a park. Any of those places sound good? If we want somewhere that's similar to the school, I think the park would be best but if you want something more discreet than I advise the alleyway. The library would be subtle, yet not completely unknown."

Of course all of this information was directed at Natalie. When she spoke again, she was answering the other girl. "An assignment, you say?" she asked, curiosity hinted in her voice. "Perhaps something I can help with? Oh, my name is Tamah, by the way."

((Bleh, I swear my posts will get better x.x I just need to get back into the grove of the Rp haha.))

I agree with the time skip to lunch/dinner once everyone's posted as well :3

I think we're temporarily moving Toast's character out of the RP, at least until [hopefully] he returns. So Soaring, you may have to make a post of your character retrieving the coat and making an excuse of either her walking away or say that he left. In this way, when and if Toast comes back, he will be able to RP his character back in with an explanation to his absence. Then we won't have to wait anymore.))

Iris held her hands together behind her back while the girl spoke. Tamah was her name and she offered to help Iris on her assignment. Iris was actually pretty excited about this assignment, having someone assist her would make it even more special. "Help you say? I can't refuse that offer, it would really be something to look forward to." She looked at the other girl for a minute and wondered if both of them are willing to assist her. "I'll be leaving at 6 tonight so hopefully I can get through some training and maybe a good meal before then. Maybe we could discuss it over dinner, if you want? All of us."

Tamah was looking over the possible locations for the pentagram, each one having it's own window up with a short summery right next to them while listening to what Natalie was saying. After about a few minutes, she moved her mouse around and got rid of one of the windows so the remaining two grew bigger with extra info showing up. "These two are about the same distance from here, the library and the alleyway. I agree that the library would be the best spot, though, as the alleyway would be far too suspicious and there's too many people passing by that they'd notice something was up." As she spoke, Tamah opened a mini drawer from beneath the desk, taking out a small notepad with a pen. Both placed on the clearest spot on the desk (which was only accomplished by pushing the keyboards back a bit), the computer geek wrote down the directions in a neat, organized order. Unfortunately the handwriting itself wasn't the best, but at least it was legible, and going over it a second time she tore the paper from the notepad and handed it over to Natalie.

"There's the address along with a few possible good locations to hide the pentagram in, along with additional notes of anything else you should be aware of. It should be a pretty easy enough task, though, but I did include the library's hours and circled the time frames that'd be best to head out. You don't want to go when the library is closed, otherwise someone may notice and wonder why you're there, but obviously you wouldn't want all sorts of bystanders witnessing what you're doing."

Eventually Tamah made herself shut up now, sure that the fellow Sister would be clever enough to know when and how she should do things. While she waited for her to accept the paper and go over it, and if she had any questions, Tamah turned her gaze back to Iris (did she introduce herself yet..?) and smiled. "I can definitely agree on that. It sounds exciting, talking it over during dinner would be great, too, and it'd give us a chance to learn more of what it is you're exactly planning on doing." Tamah's gaze went back to Natalie when she said this, keeping the smile. "That is if you wish to join in as well, the more the merrier!"

Well, some of you are. See, I got accepted into a magnet school for people interested in the same sort of stuff I am so everyone's pretty awesome. The downside is that they work us like.....like....things that work hard.

Oh, and Happy Holidays. I celebrate Chanumis/Christakuh. That's Chanukah-Christmas.))

As Scythe was examining the walls, she simply gave up and walked away to retrieve her goggles so she could go out. Of course, she had no idea where she was headed, but she just needed to go for a walk and think about a few things. She wished now that she had lingered longer when Tamah and Nat had still been hanging around so she could've asked a few more questions. She still wasn't completely sure was going on.

Scythe intended to return after an hour or two. Her nose caught scent of Tamah and Natalie in a rather close room, but also a new scent. Definitely a female, but they were probably occupied at the moment, and not interested in speaking with her. However, the red-head did want to meet the new girl, but decided she would do so in her own time. Her combat boots clanked as she strode across the metal threshold, the sound echoing throughout the chamber. She made her way back to her room, and grabbed her box. However, she began to get a strange feeling, a chill up her back and she felt the urge to bite someone. She pushed off the feeling, dismissing it as killer instinct as she grabbed her rucksack and stuffed her box inside, after emptying the bag of its contents.

She slung it over her shoulder, tying her hair back with a band she always kept around her wrist and and placing her googles on top of her head gingerly. Scythe clanked out of the room, ears pressed down by her goggles and out of sight to anyone without the ability of X-Ray vision. As she passed through the weapons hall again, a pair of twin machine guns caught her eye. They appeared lightweight, and easy to carry. Plus, they were fast, and Scythe would love the protection ranged weapons would offer. Scythe quickly collected them, along with a couple rounds of ammo and twin holsters. She took a while trying to figure out how to properly hold the guns, not bothering to try and not even attempting that strange way that Death the Kid holds them. She fired a couple of bullets at a dummy, and although her aim was nowhere near perfect, she didn't want to waste any ammo, so she placed them in her holsters and walked out the door.

It was sunset, the bottom of the sky dyed shades of red, yellow, and pink with the twilight sun. She quite liked this time of day, she thought as she walked through the forest that surrounded the small wooden shack. Scythe strolled to the top of the hill and pondered where to go next. To the west, where the sunset lay were the suburbs. To the East was the school, an it was slightly more urban over in that direction. To the South was downtown, and to the North it was more rural. She decided to head towards the suburbs.

Scythe rummaged in her pockets, searching for a phone or something with a built-in GPS. There was, in fact, an iPhone. The redhead would've preferred a Samsung Galaxy S3, but she would settle for this. She pressed the home button in the center, and it came across her to look at her contacts. Maybe something in there would jog her memory of the people she knew. Was she popular? Did her family miss her? For some reason, the thought just made her cringe, but despite this, her curiosity got the better of her. She clicked on the contacts, and was surprised to find it completely empty. She shrugged and pressed the home button again, and clicked on the map icon.

Apparently, she was in a remote city in California that was rather mountainous. If she continued to travel east past the school, she would probably reach the mountains in a few days time-on foot, of course. If she continued west past the suburbs, she would probably reach the Northern Pacific Ocean. However, she did not want to go too far from the Base.

Scythe had yet to arrive to the suburb when she found herself cold and shivering, despite the thick coat she was dressed in. Her breathing was short and shallow, and she began to cough a little. Her teeth chattered, and her muscles ached, the blood pumping in her ears. Or was that blood at all? She stumbled forward, and managed to make it to a house on the edge of the town. It was near some apartments, but separated by a dense patch of woods consisting mainly of tall, branchy pine trees that toward above her head, yet their trunks were rather slim. She admired them for a moment, and decided to climb it so she would have a good vantage point. However, her legs were buckling under her, teeth chattering more violently. She finally got a hold on a branch, but a piece of bark poking out scratched her hand, and she pulled it back instinctively, falling down onto the grass. The wind was knocked out of her chest, and she felt too weak and pained to get up, but she knew that if she fell asleep here, she would be in all sorts of trouble if anyone found and searched her bag. Not to mention noticed her guns and wonder why such a young girl would have a dangerous weapon.

Scythe slowly and steadily rose to her feet, muscles exclaiming in pain. Suddenly, her sight began to blur, walls of blackness closing in around her.

Am I.....dying? she thought to herself, as her mouth began to foam with sickness, blood dripping from her mouth. No, this is different...

The door creaked open, and with Scythe's last amount of energy she screamed at the top of her lungs. It was a coarse, raspy scream, that echoed around the canyon. It was a proper echo, too. Not the kind that simply reverberates, but the one that repeats over to you a couple of times before fading away, like Scythe's consciousness.

((No, she's not dead. She's just sick. This is based off kind of how I feel right now, but I'm forcing myself to write DX<.  Oh gawd, I'm dyyyyyying. It's like 2:00 AM where I am and my head hurts and my legs hurt and my throat hurts and I didn't get to go to soccer or basketball (still can't get used to the word 'soccer' It's FOOTBALL. You play with your FEET. OK, i'm going to bed now before I die.))

Really sorry for my inactivity Dx I tried posting but my internet goes out then I lost everything I just typed out so I try again same thing happens and I get frustrated so I go to another part of the forum, then I forget and BLEH! ))

Iris curiously looked across the dark room, taking a look at every incandescent computer screen in sight. Some had what she assumed was live footage of places, that gave her an idea. As usual whenever in her day dreaming state she would focus on the ceiling. Part of the ceiling just stood out from the rest of the ceiling, this one metal beam, slightly bending towards the floor. It took her attention and she began to imagine what could happen later tonight, the voices of Tamah and Natalie slowly faded, along with the room and computers.

Iris imagined herself in Claire's cozy home, cameras were placed in corners of the room recording the whole event.

What a good horror movie that would make before bed time. Her mother and father could be sitting and wolfing down their fatty dinner when all of a sudden I sneak in. Slit his throat while in his arm chair, throw a dagger at his wife's head. Start covering the place with some flammable liquid and set the place on fire when Claire and Sophie take their last breath. Hmm but I would have plenty of time after killing the parents, perhaps plan out an even better ambush?

Eventually the sound of clock hands came, time was getting short. She had to hurry up on her assignment otherwise there won't be enough time to set up the surprise attack at the house. Either go there after dinner and make it before 7 o'clock or stay and train then arrive at the house near 7.

What to do... perhaps I better hurry up and decide at dinner.

Tamah and Natalie were still talking about a pentagram, she didn't want to sound rude by interrupting them but she had no choice. "Um, so you two ready to head over to dinner? I was planning to head over and start my assignment in nearly half an hour, I need to get there before seven you see. I was hoping to do a bit of training before I leave, that is if I have any time."

((@Radioactive, Glad you like it here so far~ And I know, it's weird how they call it football when you don't use your feet even half the time xD Oh well, can't be helped.
Happy holidays to everyone too!))

Natalie took the note from Tamah's hands and scanned over it with her eyes, the tech geek's words flying over her head. She caught bits and pieces of what she was saying and got the gist of the information. The albino shifted onto one foot, processing it all. At this rate, I'll probably have to do this tomorrow. Or perhaps after Time Slicer's mission...If I'm going in the first place, that is.

She drifted into the depths of her mind while Tamah refocused on Time-Slicer. What was her name again? Natalie wracked her brain for it. Some kind of flower right? Iris? Usually she wouldn't fret over something as insignificant as some girl's name, but if she was going to cooperate with her, she might as well try remembering it... The white-haired girl blinked as Tamah looked back at her.

"That is if you wish to join in as well, the more the merrier!" Tamah said. She chided herself for not listening, perhaps this Iris-girl had said something about her mission. Natalie guessed they were talking about the mission, so she nodded like she knew what she was agreeing to.

"Yes," She murmured, gazing at Iris as she asked if they were ready to head to dinner. Natalie found herself nodding enthusiastically, the glow of the computer screens illuminating a brighter look in her eyes. The girl was a picky eater, and while Phenomenon's food was no where near the best, it was Natalie's favorite. It was part of the reason she lived within the base, actually.

As she walked to the door of the computer room, she wondered what they were serving tonight. Just the thought made her mouth water... Best to not get distracted. I need to pay attention to what this assignment is, or I'll end up messing up the whole thing.
"I'm ready to go when you all are."
