INTRO:
This is an RP were you RP normal people, in a normal city. But, as all people do, they have a legacy of their own. So, one might be a world class gardener. Another might be from Jamaica. Someone else might be an artist. You really don't know.
GENERAL STUFF:
This takes place in some unamed city, in an undetermined country.(It's like the new America, seen as a dream come true) You must create a character who has an interesting legacy. (Human, please) By some miracle of sorts, they meet someone else's character.

Why are they unique?: She loves to spend time with her pets, especially with riding Prince. When she isn't hanging around her pets or working, her nose is always burried in a book.
Physical Appearance: Long, brown hair thats tied back into a briad that reaches between her shoulder blades. She wears blue jeans with brown boots, with a brown, peace sign shirt. She's about 5'7", and has dark brown eyes.
Personality: Usually silent, isn't always comfortable with a lot of people around. Doesn't really speak to others unless she's spoken too, but once she knows someone she is fun loving, talkative, and kind. However, she hates it when anyone goes withen her five foot perimeter of personal space.

[Both of your profiles are good, I'll start.(Just a warning, I dont roleplay often)]
Claudio strolled down the busy city street, trying to remember his English. In public places, he knew he would have to use it. He was so deep in thought that he nearly bumped into the door of the cafe he was walking to.
"Uff', he mumbled, and stepped inside. [Bree's cafe] He went to order his breakfast.
"'Scuse 'e, do you have frozen lemonade?"
"No? What about coffee? And a pastry?"
"Thank you"
He sat down and waited for his food.

Bree was walking to table to table, dropping off coffee, other beverages, and food to the tables. It was a little busy that morning, but nothing she couldn't handle. After her first tray was empty, she went back to the counter to fill it back up again. Grabbing the plates and drinks, she listened to the cooks intructions on which table each dish went to. Giving a nod and her tray full once more, she turned and resumed passing the tables. She stopped by two of them first when she came to the last one. On this table, a young man was sitting, with blond hair and a stripe shirt. Looking him over, he didn't seem to be from around here.
Bree placed his order on the table, and as she did so, she asked, "Are you from around here?" She wasn't usually the one to start off conversations, but her curiousity was winning.

"Leave me alone Mom!" She yells from her room. She sighs opening her door and peaking out of it. "Cost clear.." She whispers. She quickly and quietly runs to the back door. She opens and slams the door shut running to the stables bursting into tears. Why did her parents have to get divorced now? On her birthday?! She went to her stables quickly entering Heart's stall. Heart was her foal, she felt so connected to her like she was part of her. She cowers in the corner sobbing as Heart trots over nudging her sweetly.

clover sits on her bed with her notebook on her legs and cherry sitting beside her, grooming herself. she was sketching and when she was done, she got out her colored pencils and colored it, making a cat girl. Looking at the waitress, Claudio answered. "Eh, no. I am a just boy on a very long field trip, from Italia."
He paused then added, "Very beautiful country here. Almost as amazing as Italy."

"Ah, from Italy, eh?" Bree smiled. "I always wanted to visit there myself someday. Though that will have to wait. Glad you like it here, though."
She would of liked to continue the conversation, but the cook was shouting at her to return and get some more trays.
"Ah, duty calls. It was nice speaking with you," Bree gave a dip of her head in a farewell nod, and turned to return to her work.

Lilly stood behind the counter, slouching over her drawing note-pad. She was sketching a little rabbit.
Mondays were never very lively in the book shop. She paused her drawing session to take a sip of her coffee. It might have been her imagination, but she thought she could hear the little bell by the door jingle. "Hey!" She said sweetly to the possible customer, "How can I help you?" She waited to see a person round the corner to the counter, but no one came. She sighed. "Must have been the wind..."

Claudio said a polite "Goodbye!" to the waiter, and sipped his coffee quietly. He wondered what he should be buying today. Food, maybe, from those huge grocery stores. Books, for learning? They seem a bit like wasted time now. Well, nothing else to do, he thought. He'd get grocerys and books. Maybe go to a library, if he could find one. Claudio finished his coffee and pastry, and strolled out.
This city was huge. There were suburbs, but (this is very odd) the city itself was far bigger. Covered in skyscrapers it was, and glistening with glass.
Only a few hills remained covered in grass and trees, and Claudio looked upon one now. A huge white and black mansion stood upon it. [Clover's mansion] There was a beautiful white horse on it's lawn, gazing fixedly at the sky. They must be very lucky to have a huge house like that, Claudio thought. That would be a lot better than my crummy apartment. But not better than la mia bella Italia.
Claudio didn't know of any librarys or grocery stores nearby. Maybe his teacher could give him a ride to one in his car.
Just as Claudio was about to go back and ask his teacher for a ride, he saw one. Just a little bookshop, wedged in-between two buildings. [It's the bookshop Lilly works in, sorry if I made it a bit small-seeming. XP] He walked in tentatively, and a little bell on the door jingled cheerily.

clover finished up her picture and grabbed her picnic basket.She stuffed a baby blue fuzzy blanked in it and put cherry in.She put the basket on her wrist, along with some snacks for cherry. she set off in her lawn, and rubbed snow, put a black blanket on his back before putting on his saddle. she mounted snow and he trotted down the hill.

Bree looked to the door as she heard it open, really from force of habit, and saw that the Italy boy was leaving. She strolled to his table, picking up the dishes on the tray and returning to the counter where she placed them down for another to pick up.
Her working hours were almost done, only half an hour left. She thought what she may do once she leaves as she continues taking everyone's orders, either placing down plates or picking them up. At the moment, she had no where else to go that day, so maybe she'll take Prince out for a ride. Yeah, that sounded like a good idea. She can take Vance along as well. Being in a farm, she was a little ways away from the city, where it was more green and open spaced. There was a small trail near her barn where she usually took to either walk or ride Prince. The trail was isolated, making it seem peaceful and quiet. She would ride down the trail with Prince, with Vance following close by, off his leash. He was great around people, he only attacked on command. Even so, dogs weren't normally allowed to be off their leashes, so Bree took him down there where no one would mind.

Lilly lifted her head, hearing the bell really jingle this time. "Hi! How can I help you?" She called cheerily.

Miranda whipes away all of her tears and gets up. She kisses Heart on her head lightly and walks up to the front of the house. You could tell she had my crying. She takes a cab deeper into the city and stops by a nice coffee shop (Bree's Cafe). Opening the door she quickly walks up to the counter and waits for an employee.

Placing a plate down on a table for a customer, Bree raised her head up as she heard the door open. Another customer. Finishing with the one she was with, she came to the counter the new girl had sat by.
"Hello, my name is Bree and I shall be your waitress. May I take your or-" she caught off, looking back at the girl in surprise. There were tear stains under her eyes. Remembering her place, she quickly shook her head and finished her sentence, "order?"
Bree wondered what was wrong, but it wasn't really any of her business. But she didn't really like seeing anybody sad. ~I can probably try talking to her later.~ Bree thought. Working at a cafe, she often saw people who may have been crying, angry, or upset coming in. People seemed to just come for a cup of coffee when they were upset. Bree would take their orders and everything, but she'll be trying to talk to them little by little as she did so. This seemed to calm the person down, and soon they began to be a little more open to her, and so then she'll try to help. This doesn't always work, of course, but it never hurt to try.

"Can I have um.... a small carmal coffee please?" Her voice was shaking as she tried to hold back tears. She gives a slight smile but sadness seemed to over power it.

Giving a nod of her head, Bree went behind the counter to get her order. About five minutes she had it ready, and came back to the young woman.
"Here's your coffee ma'am."
She set the coffee gently in front of her. She looked so sad. Bree stayed silent for a moment, thinking. She wanted to help but it was never a good idea to ask someone straight away what was wrong when you didn't know them. Sometimes if you did they may tell you, but then sometimes they won't, and may even make them more upset, which you didn't want. It was always best to talk to them little by little, and during the talk you can get someone to open to you a little more, and you'd be able to learn what was wrong with them. All you needed was patience.

"It's a beautiful day today," Bree stated casually, glancing out the window of the cafe. "It'd be a great day to take my horse Prince out for a ride, he'd love it," she gave a sidelong glance to the young woman beside her, "Do you like horses?"

"I love horses." She smiles more happy now "I have a little filly of my own. I got her for a late christmas present." Her face was still puffy from when she was crying but seemed more enthusastic now ~Maybe she could be my friend? But she's seems so much older then me...~

Bree gave a warm smile, looking back at her. "Sweet, maybe we can introduce our horses some time? My name is Bree, what's yours?"

"That'd be fun. Oh I'm Miranda, It's nice to meet you." She drinks some of her coffee and smiles "How long have you worked here?"

"Nice to meet you, Miranda."
She thought for a moment. "Oh, about two or three years now. I'm hoping to own my own cafe someday." She gave another smile. "Well, my shift is over in about five minutes. I was planning on heading over back to my place to pick up Prince. You can come along if you like and then we could head over to your house and I can see that filly of yours. Only if you want to of course."

"Oh... Uh..." She thinks about her parents but says "Sure that'd be fun." She finishes her yummy coffee and throws the empty cup away.

Claudio looked over at the salesperson. She had shockingly white hair. Claudio stuttered for a second, intending to make a comment about it, then thought better of it. "Y-yeah, are there any cookbooks? Or books on speaking English?" He added the last part as an afterthought. Even though he was confident in his English, he thought more knowledge would be good.

Finally, her shift was over. Placing the last cup of the day on someone's table, she went back to the counter, going behind it, and placed the tray down. She took off her waitress apron and hung it up on a rung, turning away.
"Okay, I'm out!" She called out. She went to the door, opening it and holding it as two others came in. Once they passed, she looked to Miranda. "Coming?"

Name: Darryl "Dare" Minnifeild
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Occupation: Librarian Assistant
Hobby(s): Reading, writing, attempting to paint/draw, creating/studying languages and history.
Pets: A faithful Leonburger dog named Mushroom and a fussy Russian Blue cat name Burgandy.
Type of house: A small house with a little, sheltered back yard not far from the town/city he rents with money he gets from somewhere. /mystery
Ethnicity: Caucasian with Native American roots.
Single/Taken?: Single
Why are they unique?: He has an extreme desire to learn more than what the school system offers--most notably ancient history and languages. He dropped out of high school to do his own education thing, not caring (or having a back up plan) that it has damaged his chances of getting into a good college/job.
Physical Appearance: He is of intermediate height--can't really tell if he's taller or shorter than you depending on his moods (he seems really small when he's depressed/resigned/sulking/etc and really tall when he's excited/angry/serious/etc due to how he holds his body)--and an average build with just enough chubbiness to keep him warm at night and still look good he wears black, rectangle framed glasses. His eyes are a soft hazel that shift with his mood or what he's wearing like most hazel eyes do. He keeps his hair in a style that might look sophisticated and smart if he'd bother to do more than rake his fingers through it. He has a fanning of freckles on his check bones and the bridge of his nose.
He prefers clothes that are darker and more subdued in color with small splashes of brightness. He is also overly fond of older styled clothes and formal clothes made casual. He often carries around a satchel with much of his personal supplies in it. He doesn't own a cell phone (yet).
Personality: He has a mild personality that is streaked with moments of unselfish giving dappled with shallow narcissus. That is, he'll be mellow and calm with and not necessarily friendly or hostile upon first meeting but he has as much capability to be generous or ruthless as anyone. He is a writer, and he has a sharp mind that tends to analyze things before he speaks. He likes taking the back seat to watch things pan out but isn't comfortable under other's direct orders. He doesn't talk about himself much, as there really isn't anything to talk about (other than his pets and his hobby which he can rant about but other people don't find nearly as interesting) and he'd much rather listen to other's stories to gather fodder for his novels.

"Why, yes, I think we do!" She walked over to a shelf labeled 'Cooking'. "There are cooking ones here, aaaand I think the English books are over on the shelf labeled 'Languages'." She smiled sweetly. "If there's anything else I can help you with, just shout, 'kay?" She added.

Darryl ran his hands through his hair, raking it into submission, before leaving the bathroom, entering the hallway and reaching the den where he picked up his satchel, ready to leave for his "job" at the Library. He was just opening the door when Mushroom, his faithful dog, nosed his hand.
"What do you want, boy? I need to leave." Still, Mushroom gently nosed at him. The dog's light brown fur was slightly fuzzy and it took a moment before Darryl realized he'd forgotten his glasses, and he knew exactly where they would be. After rubbing Mushroom's head and muttering a soft good boy he closed the door and went back into the den. The object he was looking for was a cat, with a soft gray-blue pelt snoozing on his small couch.
"Burgandy, move." So, Burgandy might seem like an odd name to give to a Russian Blue, but he liked it, and besides, Burgandy was the one who suggested it. Not that he can talk, thought Darryl as he shoved the lazy cat off his spot on the couch. It was true, Darryl was looking through an atlas he'd brought from the library when he'd barely gotten the cat. Burgandy took it upon himself to leap up onto the book and lay down, his nose barely touching the town of Burgandy, France. Darryl took it as a sign and started calling the cat that.
When Burgandy finally relented and rolled over, he grabbed his glasses (Burgandy seemed to love sleeping on them, but Darryl could never figure out why), shoved them onto his face and resumed leaving his apartment.
Halfway to the library, he spotted a cute book shop he'd never noticed before. He paused on the sidewalk and looked at his watch, deciding he'd have time to browse the books and get to the library on time (barely). Decision made, he made determined steps to the book shop and entered it's door.

"Yup I'm coming!" She smiles and follows Bree over to the door and heads outside and waits for her, excited to see her horse.

Bree came through the door after the girl, closing it behind her. Gesturing for her to follow, she went behind the cafe and began walking down a trail. The trail led down to a park, so it was used often, and they would come across some people every now and then.
"This trail leads right by to where I live," she told the girl as they walked.
(To skip the boring walk x3) After awhile, they began leaving the crowds of people and came to a more isolated spot, and up ahead was Bree's farm house. It was fairly large, two stories, with brown painted wood and a darker brown roof. Nearby it was a large red barn, and acres of land all around it with a fence that kept unwanted company away. Bree pointed to her home.
"That's where I live. I stay with my Aunt Lyn, but she's usually out by this time," she then pointed over the the fields. "And if you look over there you'll see Prince grazing somewhere out there. He's our only horse at the moment."
Bree continued to lead the girl up to her home, when suddenly a german sheperd came running out from behind the farm house porch steps. His tongue hung out as he ran, tail wagging, and he came right up to Bree, standing on his two back legs and raising his forpaws up. He lowered back down to the ground, looking up at Bree.
"Hey Vance!" Bree said happily, bending down and rubbing the dog's ears and head. "Were you a good boy while I was gone?

Miranda smiles as she looks out into the pasture seeing the beautiful horse out grazing. "What do you mean for now?" She was curious. She looks down at the german shepard "He's soooo cute." She smiles petting him.

"Yep, he's a sweet boy, aren't you Vance?" Bree rubbed him some more, then stood up straight again. Vance was wagging his tail madly, giving a lick to Miranda. "We may get another horse or two," Bree answered her question. "Come on, I'll introduce you to Prince."
Walked to the side of the house, she opened the gate and went through. Walking across she went to the fence Prince was at, and climbing up the bars, she placed two fingers to her lips and gave a long, shrill whistle. The brown stallion lifted its gaze up, ears perking. He bounded across the grass, coming to Bree. When he was close enough he slowed to a trot, and stopped by the fence, sticking his long nose out to her.
"Hey Prince," Bree smiled, rubbing the nose. "How ya been? Ready for a ride?"
Vance had followed Bree, and was sitting by her side.

"He's beautiful." She smiles reaching out and petting his nose, "He's so soft.. Heart is sooo much smaller then him It's reasonable though, she's just a filly." She was smiling forgeting about what happened before she went to the coffee shop.

[Augh. Not been in a very good mood for RP-ing for a while. Been learning German and watching Hetalia. Sorry, guys.]
"'kay!" said Claudio happily. He went to check out the cooking section first.
The first book that caught his eye was a book titled, "Italian-American Cookbook" He slipped it off the shelf, and began to read.

5 minutes passed, and Claudio was still reading, enthralled by the awful-sounding pizzas. He barely heard the little bell on the door ring as a customer stepped in. He looked up, from force of habit.
The boy who stepped in looked a bit under-attended.[Sorry if that sounds odd, I just made the words up.] His hair was fairly messy, and his glasses were askew. Besides this, his gaze was sophisticated and his looks were average. Claudio would barely have noticed him on the street.

"Hey, How can I help you?" Lilly chirped as she put down her coffee. She had finished her picture and was beginning to shade it.

Bree contiued patting her stallion, and was going to say something when her cell rang.
"Oh, sorry, hold on a second," she withdrew her cell phone from her pocket and clicking a button she pressed it to her ear, walking a few steps from the young girl and her horse.
"Hello? Need my help? With what?"
A short pause.
"Alright, I can do those things but does it have to be now? Oh, it does? Alright, I'm on it."
Removing the cell she clicked another button and returned it into her pocket.
"I'm sorry, Marinda," Bree said as she walked back up to her. "I have to go run some chores for my Aunt. If you like I can walk you home as I go."

"Thanks for the offer but no thank you. I can walk home myself." She sounded polite but a little annoyed. She steps away from Bree saying a goodbye over her should as she walked up the road towards her house.

Miranda returns home only to here her parents screeaming at each other. Walking into the house quitly she relizes her dogs were no where to be found. "Mom?" She calls from the living room. "Shut-up Miranda's home." There was a sudden silence until her moms walks to the living room tears streaked her face. "Mom... Whats going on?" Her voice was quivering as she was about to cry. There was a ear spliting silence until her mom choked out "Your father..... let them lose in the backyard and let them run into the woods alone. They haven't come back at all." Miranda's breaks down into tears and runs into the kitchen where her dad was standing "I HATE YOU!" She screams as the tears kept flowing "I HATE YOU GET OUT OF MY LIFE! I'M HAPPY YOU AND MOM ARE SPLITTING UP! I'M HAPPY I WILL NEVER HAVE TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" Her mom walks quietly into the kitchen and raps her arms around Miranda "You need to leave... NOW!" She yells at her husband. His face turns to a bright red with anger. He shakes his head and grabs his bags storming out of the house. The next thing they hear is the car door slamming shut. The car screaches down the road until it goes out of ear shot. Running to her room Miranda slams her door closed and sits on her bed. She lays down on her stomach and presses her face into the pillow crying her eyes out.

Inside the little book shop where two people. One was a boy taller than him and lanky, his nose stuck in some kind of cooking book. Darryl faintly recognized him as Italian when he glanced up from his the cook book which appeared to feature some Italian dishes, if the title was anything to go by.
The second was a girl, older than him he was sure, with unusual white hair. She also glanced up when he walked in, putting down a mup and a pencil next to a piece of paper. He looked around the shop taking his time closing the door and walking into the store and didn't reply until he was standing a foot or two away from the Italian boy.
"No, thank you. I'm just browsing before I have to get to work." He flashed a brief smile at her and sidled up to a book shelf labled "Sci-Fi", running his fingertips softly against the books' spines.

"Oh!" Lilly gasped quietly. She hadn't even noticed this new customer come in. But she saw the girl had already started a conversation with one of the others. Oh well. She thought, and went back to her shading. The little rabbit was coming along nicely. It was nibbling on a carrot, and it reminded her of Smudge. Speaking of which, She thought, It's only a few hours away from closing time. She sipped at her coffee again, thinking of how she would re-decorate her apartment. At the moment, it looked kind of dull, but she wanted to liven it up, make it look modern.
But back in the bookshop, she was quietly surprised that there were three customers on a Monday. Usually, there was a maximum of one!
I guess some people just love books. She thought, smiling. Like me.

She walked on, the list of errands she had to run memorized in her head. She was placing them in order from what she should do first as she walked.

Miranda wakes up not knowing that she had dozed off. Her mom walks in with a piece of pizza "Here, eat." She says soothingly. "I'm sorry about your two dogs. I can buy you tw-." She was cut off by Miranda "I don't want two other dogs I want both of them back." She sits up and eats her pizza. "Mom, can I go into the woods and look for them?" Her mom sighs "Go ahead just be very careful please." Miranda's face lights up as she zooms to her closet and grabs her coat. Next thing her mother knew was Miranda slamming the backdoor and rushing to the woods.

seeing the man wouldnt talk to her, she left the store, skipping away. she had to walk through the woods to get home and so she did. she then saw a girl, running through the woods. "hello." she said to her.

She stops and turns facing the girl "Hi, have you seen 2 dogs run through here today?" She was desperate to find her dogs.

"there at my mansion. i found them, and there having great care. come with me~ "she said as she walked towards her mansion.

"Thank you soo much! I'm Miranda by the way, and you are?" She was soo extatic that this girl had found her dogs.

" im clover" she said. soon they reached the mansion, and let her in. she then whistled and the dogs ran to the entrance.

"Thank you again!" She says kneeling down hugging her two dogs. The licked her, their tails going a mile a minute "I owe you one." She smiles getting up. She hooks their leashes onto their collars and heads towards the door "Thanks again!" She must of said that over 500 times.

When Darryl realized there was a girl trying to talk to him, she'd already left. He didn't mind, he didn't know her, so it didn't really phase him. He wandered through the store, passing the Italian again and finding himself at the reference section. A title caught his eye--the Ancient History of Language--and he picked it out and started skimming. Surprisingly, there was a lot of pictures for a book about the written word. He liked it. He tucked it under his arm and continued to browse the store heading multiple times to his favorite sections: Reference, Sci-Fi and Fantasy.

Physical Appearance: 5'5 in height, a slender girl with tanned skin and the classic Italian slightly hooked nose (not hooked enough to make her look creepy though o_o ). Her hair is dark brown reaching to about mid back in slight waves with glints of gold hairs when in the sunlight. Her eyes are a shade of melted hershey brown, with flecks of gold embedded in the brown. She is fluent in Italian, also in english, although she has a slight accent when speaking english.
Personality: Audrianna is a silent girl, she tends to keep to herself prefering to work with the animals at the shelter then a person. Never the less, Audrianna will speak up, for she has a fiery temper, and can be counted on to speak her mind when the need arises. Not many people can bring out her soft side, it takes time to win her over, but yes... it can be done.

((I thought I posted?! I wrote this huge thing about Darryl gathering his books and getting ready to buy them! Was it all a dream? D:))
Darryl looked up at the Italian, smiling gratefully.
"Actually, do you know where the reference section is? The one where all the dictionaries and such are." Darryl nervously shifted, he'd been looking all over but couldn't find it, and he'd already spent some time in the Fantasy section. It was probably right in front of him, but he really couldn't find it and he hadn't wanted to bother the girl at the counter as she was drawing, so he was basically just wandering around. He was really grateful this guy decided to help him.

She finally made it to an uncrowded corner where she sighed and tried to read her map. Her eyes scanned over the map tracing the path she needed to take. Rika walked out of her mansion holding an african wild dog pup in her arms. She walked into the city and saw a cafe. [Bree's cafe] the sign said and she paused at the door. She wanted to go in but she wasn't familiar with this state and didn't know if dogs were allowed. She knew it carried english language but that was it. She stared through the window of the cafe and was trying to see if anyone owned a dog. She wasn't sure so she hid sasha in her shirt/kimono and walked in. She then took her seat and waited for someone.
