A warm welcome to you, Kip! Quite a lovely nickname. It's very catchy.
But with that little thing said, and with important links already provided, I thought I'd quote something I made a little while ago. I hope the game is as good as you hear! Enjoy!
As you do seem fairly new to us considering the date you registered, I'd like you to take a moment to redirect you to the Staff Page. (https://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=28&Itemid=52) The reason being is because they are the people you need to go to if you at any point need to Report an incident in-game (or on the forum) that violates/disobeys the rules. Although we already rely on the Staff to provide us with a friendly and all-round safe game, they cannot be online 24/7, and are human just like you and me. So, they do have their lives and other things to do other than committing their free time to making sure the game funtions well and the rules are respected to keep us and other users out of trouble.
It's disappointing to admit that there are users that don't quite like to respect the rules. This is a recommended PG13 game after all (emphasis on recommended), so it does already provide warning to parents that foul behaviour (being mild or severe) will and can happen in-game and on the forum every once in a while. This game has an audience of people of all ages, and everyone is basically welcome. So the reason this game is a recommended PG13 game is so we can keep the behaviour to a reasonable level. Even though we do rely on staff to keep this a friendly and all-round safe game, it is important that users contribute to this too if such bad behaviour does arise before them. So, if you ever spot something that does indeed violate/disobey the rules, you really should report it. As mentioned before, the staff cannot be online 24/7 for the reasons given. They also can't be in several places at once. Even if you're unsure or hesitant about a situation, once reported, a staff member will correct you and provide you with advice for any future reports you provide to them.
Do keep in mind that you don't have to contact them just to report, you can contact them and have a conversation/get to know them if they're open to that. You can also contact them to get an accurate response in terms of understanding the rules or guidelines if need be. But with that said, I hope you continue to have good times, and to cherish those times as well. I hope I didn't go overly detailed, but it's important stuff!

Welcome to FeralHeart, Kip! I hope to see you around~

Thanks guys ^^
I'm in-game now but I'm rather confused. It appears I'm in a Spanish server? That meaning I'm the only one who speaks English. How do I get to a server of my own language? Thanks. XD

There aren't different servers in this game. Only one for all of us ^^ By chance are you in the map, Cape of Distant Worlds? A lot of non-English speakers gather in that map.

i think you're just in a map or area where a lot of people are non-english speaking
i'm pretty sure there's only one server with people speaking many languages, so you probably just happen to be in an area with people speaking spanish
try wandering through the maps, you'll definitely find tons of people in the grounds speaking a lot of languages, with the majority being english

Oh yes, Cape of Distant Worlds, that's where I was.
How do I get onto different maps?
also, if I close out of the game, will my characters be saved?

Take a look at this guide (https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=56894.0) and you'll be able to find your way around in no time!
And yes, your characters automatically save after you have created them!

That's very helpful, thanks! :3
So, one more thing. I'm kind of having a hard time joining groups and socializing, it seems no one responds to me in chat. Any tips?

It honestly depends on the time of day, usually between the hours of 18:00 and 00:00 on weekdays, that's when the activity starts to rise, and usually stays that way for a while. High-peak activity is mostly seen on weekends, though. I usually just drop a few questions in the chat to try and start a conversation. Usually people don't make social-groups, but I believe you will have the best luck socializing in The Grounds, as that's where people tend to be the most. If you ever see me in-game (I'm usually on Buffy, sometimes Ginger), then I'm open for chat! I suppose you need to be the first one to make the move, unless there are conversations going already, then perhaps you can join in one that you find interesting!
