Title: Game map

I just downloaded the game and registered, When I load in the screen is black and it says no map file. I thought the game came with at least one map file?

Yes I have added the next patch and replaced it with the 1.17. I watched a tutorial on it. that was the first obstacle I had to face. and once I was able to get logged in after downloading the patch I created my character and loaded in, but when I loaded in there was no map everything is black and I can only see the control keys at the side of my screen and my character.

I undertsand everything in the steps that you sent me till this part (You'll want to highlight the .exe (see above) and click "Extract To" and then find your main FeralHeart folder (should be C:\FeralHeart):), mines does not show this

 Hey there! So, I play on a MAC, which will explain why my folders look a bit different, but when you download FH there should be a folder called FeralHeart:

In this folder you will see the FH executable:

This is what you will need to replace with the patch.

If you do not have a main FH folder you might not have done the installation properly?

Did you start by installing the top installer?

Yes I installed the top one first and then the bottom one and replaced it with the 1.17.

 okay, so if it's not part of the installation process, there's this thread here that had a similar issue?

 it says to run as an administrator.

Am I suppose to run the exe file as an administrator? did that Right now and no luck. :(

I find it best to delete the old .exe first, and then move the new .exe into the folder as sometimes it doesn't replace/overwrite the old one properly.

If you wish to try another avenue for the .exe, here's a link to a thread that has a Mediafire and Google Drive download containing a FH folder with it already installed: Linkie (https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=68053.0) - Sorry for all this trouble, we still need to fix that installer lol

Also quick tip, if you want to easily share screenshots, you can upload them to post image, then share the link. Here's a very small tutorial:

You are going to need to upload your images to either Imgur (https://imgur.com/) or PostImage (https://postimages.org/). I personally like PostImage because you don't need an account and it's super easy and simple, so I will use that for this example.

Simply just click the Choose Images button and select your image to upload it:

Then you are going to click the Copy to Clipboard button for the Direct Link option to copy that image link:

Then you need to click the Image icon when either replying to a thread or creating one:

In between the [ img][/img] that shows up you need to past that link that you copied. You can either right click in between them and select paste, or press and hold ctrl and then press v on your keyboard to paste the link.
