Can't login to old account due to symbols in name

Hi FeralHeart,

I was going back to my oldest account -Hood- for nostalgia's sake, but I can't seem to get in because of the dashes in the name.  I know old accounts are deleted, but I tried my friend's account from the same time period that she hasn't used at all, and it worked.

Is there any way to change the account name so I can use it again?

Thanks for your help!  I don't think that's my old account though, since I know I made posts on the forums and .-Hood-. hasn't.  Is there a way to recover a username from an e-mail instead of the other way around?  I do know the e-mail I used.
