Wolves! But african wild dogs do have a special place in my heart too.

African wild dogs for the win! I liked wolves for a while but I love the markings and ears of the wild dogs more.

Maned wolves. Long bois, with fox heads, deer legs and wolf body? Hell yes!

Also, they look awkward and shy. Just like me.

since hyenas aren't canines, i have an especial fondness for dingos and jackals.

they mind me of my own dogs.

dingoes. they have weird joints in their little wrists that makes it so it can twist at odd angles- a crafty one can break into a house.
plus my own girl has some carolina dog in her<3
second is wolves. soft heckers.
third is foxes. there was one snuffling in my yard yesterday and my favorite oc of mine is a fox.
aaaand since i haven't seen any mentions of them here yet, coyotes!!! yappy little fricks. once saw a really pretty russet one just watch me drive through a field. give them love.

Hmm"canine," I'll have to go with Maned Wolves, they're like oversized foxes with long legs. XD
and Gray Wolves, very pretty and majestic creatures they are.
also as far as "dogs" go, I got me a soft spot in my heart for German Shepards,
for how extremely loyal and obedient they can be. Once I went for a run with a friend and her shep,
who ran off-leash and stayed close to us the whole 5 miles. (:
