So I just found this sandbox MMO that's been running for 23 years, yes, 23 years. It's called ActiveWorlds. You can build anything there, and the community is friendly. https://www.activeworlds.com/web/

Seems like an interesting game. I've always had a thing for older MMOs. I'll check this out (and of course there's a fanmade creepypasta on it...)

It's mostly deserted but it's kinda like Secondlife without the gross stuff.
