Removing the shoutbox

<< < (3/4) > >>

Kyugima:
The only issue is when members refuse to come to the help forum because apparantly they don't get help. One  person was going on about it... And I asked about their thread, because I could help, and they said they deleted it XD You're not going to get help if you delete the thread before it gets an answer XD

wolffox:
And in the first place, the users themselves can't delete threads anymore, anyway. XD
They're just too lazy or don't know how to post something on the forum. People ARE here and ready to help, as long as the user can explain the issue they're having with detail. When people ask for help in the Shoutbox, if it's something simple, like, "hey what's this game about?" I'll answer it. If it's a technical problem "I can't download this map" I redirect them to the Help Section of the forum and usually they go post and their problem gets solved. Some people are just too difficult to do that, but I don't think that should mean removing the Shoutbox itself.

GemWolf:
I don't really use the shoutbox as much as I should, but it's nice to have it there.

wolffox:
Lately a certain few people have been using the shoutbox as a chat/roleplay thing, daily... is that even allowed?

Redlinelies:
Not too sure if it is. Though there's never been any nailed rules about it in that case.

I do beliff this site could use a real chat somewhere on the page.
