Title: Hyenas Are Contemporary Hotels

I was just poking around drafts/sketches from the production of Lion King
when this popped up. It's supposed to help represent the morphology of hyenas (or something like that).
I thought it was funny enough to share (and possibly helpful?)

I actually really love this, especially since it can be helpful with drawing hyenas and lions heh. Thank you for sharing this with us! 8D

Oh lol. I guess that's just to know where the body goes when they finish the sketch. I also guess that's just how making movies works! Thanks for sharing these with us, it made my day better!

HAHA wow that is super interesting. I can't say I've ever drawn a hyena but I'll keep it in mind for if I ever do!

This is...the funniest thing I've seen today besides me describing an Overwatch thing. Not a big fan of Disney, but now I'm tempted to see what I can find like this someday pff.

Glad you liked it ! I'd imagine it helped the artists who worked on the Lion King so it must be helpful for others !

Made my day too ! It's good to know they could throw in some goofs while working.

It is quite fun seeing all the details they put into it. The little notes they put on reference sheets are usually quite silly but this one was the most absurdly funny.

I haven't ever drawn a hyena before either but I'd imagine if it helped Disney artists it would help anyone else !

I've been looking at behind the scenes stuff from a lot of places, not just Disney. So pretty much any animated movie/show has some sort of archive of photos and usually, you can find charming little notes on things like references. It's definitely fun to look into !
