I once tried to replace the tail mesh with a stopsign mesh, but it crashed, I did do it quite lazily though, I only plonked the stopsign mesh into the Models folder and renamed it to a tail.

Some other wacky tail ideas: A mechanical-looking tail... A sword tail... A spear tail... And a cactus tail.

Personally, I see no issues with completely reworking the models (hair, tufts, ears, eyes, and tails) as well as the animations
into a public revamp. It is possible as multiple creators have done it in the past. It will make FeralHeart a bit less dull. We've already got this board here but I've yet to see anything besides member made maps being added officially.

Not to put these down completely, but I feel these would clash with the other tails and feel of Feral-Heart. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy seeing them in general, but maybe not for this.

Yee, things (like more official markings and items though) have been suggested in the past, and I believe many users would get together to help with that. Of course, we're limited without the source code and all that stuff, but that's not to say we can't replace what we have now.

Problem is, many people would probably have to rework their presets, some commissioned, others having spent days or even longer on it, so I could see people not wanting that revamp solely based off of that.

I think having a super fluffy tail as a replacement for the duplicate 'tailess' option would be awesome! c:
For the sake of my own health and interests, I've left FH and I won't be looking back.

You might have noticed the sickle tail is a barely animated mesh that appears to be tied to the skeleton at it's base.
I am pretty sure i can craft a mesh & UV for a fluffy tail.  But i'm not good at tying it to the skeleton yet, other people can, as it's known.
The only part the community can't do very easily is alter the name of the tail in the creation menu.
The Japanese concept of wabisabi:
The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?

Hey, we have the source code now, sooo...

We could now add tails if I'm correct, and the tailless tail is now tailless, so it'd be nice to see some new stuff for the models! I'd love more ear options for canines, too.

Just thought I'd give this a little bump since the source code is available now. ^ยท^
