Oh, I played WQ. It's a great game, but it gets boring after a while. FH has a lot more potential.
And yeah I just started playing with the character creator today. I've taken a fancy to making a blue/black lion, but I also like the look of my fav Starfox character, Wolf O'Donnell as a FH wolf. This must just mean the game is too good. :3

my main character is a slight mixture of wolf and cat, hence my username. XD I can't wait to play her in-game after the servers are fixed...but I'm patient. OwO;
hmm...my character is mostly kitty, though...so I'll vote lion <3 XD

Lions seem really popular. But I still do not what to choose I have so many wolf and lion like characters. I seem to be creating too much. :o

I think the lions are more popular because most of the IT players were probably Lion King fans and only had lion characters, so they're just tramsfering all those characters here. I bet there's lots of other reasons too though.

Mhmn, I think I prefer the lion, The mesh is very nicely done and Is more realistic looking, But I do prefer the wolf's marking's, There seems to be a bit more of a varity.

I used to play WolfQuest frequently but the canine model here is pretty different. I like both ... but I suppose I'm gonna end up with a wolf. :3

I honestly prefer the lion.
It has a more.. solid look than the canine. It's just a personal preference.

Lol, M-Wolf is an old nickname from like 5 years ago. I've been using it as a username since then. But it's looking like felines are more popular so I might be making a canine.

Although I'm usually bigger on Canines, I'm going with a Feline for here, since my baby is a feline. :3 I'll probably have more canines than felines though.

I've associated with cats all my life and it wouldn't feel right to change my species, haha. However, the wolves are very cool as well and I will certainly have characters of both species.

I think just make a wolf and lion, see what you will play the most, I had characters in one game and played about two of them or three, I loooooooooooooooooooove cats :) I read Warrior Cats, got on Moonrise about so many months ago but when christmas break came in I forgot to read it because I was in for all the snow but it didn't snow >_<

But you guys are lucky, I can't play FH yet till I get my computer, and plus does FH have any bad viruses that can harm my computer badly? I don't want my computer to go away again and again and again.. But anyways if I was on the character creator thingy, I would for sure make my warrior cat, Deathscar :) her anime colors are dark dark purple and light purple, I will go with her anime colors once I get my computer XD

Here is a random question I just NOW wanted to ask: Can you run around at least on your creation on the creator, like as if your testing and looked to see if you wanted it the way you want it? Or do you just look at it and all?? :P

I think you're able to test while playing in the map maker, but I haven't figured out how this actually works either, so I can't promise anything. x3

Anyway, I have created characters for both species, sooo, I have to say I like teh wolf a liil more, lions shall be cool-er though ... *-*

I'm in the middle of both really. I love lions but I love wolves. I think the one that looks best in game will be my choice and if they look equally awesome I will be stuck between both

im gonna play both even though my main is a wolf but i think nearly everyone on there will want to test out the wolfs and such so some people will want to be a lion to de diffrent, carry on there chars from IT or just cause they want to X3

When they said 'wolves are too popular', I think they meant in general, not on the game. x3 Because wolves really are, probably the most popular animal ever for games/RP's/characters.

Back onto the subject of the question, I vote for felines in general, I'm not all too fond of lions specific, kinda boring for me, I prefer the servals, ocelots, domestics, things like that. x3 So yes, felines.

Gotta admit though, I've taken a liking to the black and red skelo-marked canine char I made earlier x3;

I use to play I.T., on a character that is like, the definition of un-original (he was black and red with a tuft on his back, never even heard of presets), but it's like, every time I think of I.T., or F.H., I always think LIONS, and Christopher (yes.. That was his name), and - Okay, telling you my life story isn't helping.... Cutting to the point!!
I'll be mainly playing my wolf Shilo, I love wolves far more than lions, though if I can create a preset I think fits a lion, I'll make a lion out of it. And yes, I AM creating Christopher, just for old times sake. :]
(P.S. if you want more options from in-game, I'd go with the Lion. The team totally gave them the better everything ;)

sorry this is off topic but: when you create a character do you click ok or use preset? cos i click ok then when i test an object or map i have a totally different character thats a lion thats brown i have downloaded mirror one

It is off-topic but I'll answer it anyway: When you test on the maker the character you created in character edit won't show up, because the current Character Editor does not save. It's not a bug or anything, it just doesn't save for now, so you can't test with your preferred character. -_^

My main char will be a wolf, just because Baltra is a wolfdog ;)
I had her in IT as a lion with wolf tail and pointy ears because there were only lions. But I still like her feline form and will make a second version of her in FH as a lion.

Mine is Feline.

The feline is more robust in body and even size. So, it suits my large machine-maniac XD


Also, the Feline mesh is more...worked on, rather than the canine.
The canine has some weirdy-forms. That's why the only canine character i have is a skinless skull-monster XD

I think that when the multiplayer comes up, you'll see more felines than canines. Like in one of the videos, I hardly saw any wolves. Mostly lionesses and small creatures.

I am not a cat person, I feel that the big cats are terribly overrated. And the wolves are popular, but hardly anyone knows or cares about them. It's all about "The big bad wolf", not many people actually think about the real wolves. They have got such a terrible reputation, it brings me to tears.

To me, both lions AND wolves are overrated.
But, i have NEVER seen any lion-a-boos, though.
And, compared to the wolfaboos..myeah....


I'd rather play as a reptilian/amphibian or some bird, though :P

That's why i'm making my out-of-the-ordinary presets, so it'll expand the game over the ordinary imaginary limits. And, hopefully, inspiring other members to do the same.

I'm more of a leopard/ small wild cat person lol. Lions are too big and bruteish for me and wolves are over rated to the max. Dogs and my own big cat species FTW

My only oppinion is that I think wolves are alot more graceful, cute, but cool ^^

Personally, I am more of a dog/wolf person but I still love cats and lions.  Wolves are interesting because of how they travel in packs and just how they behave in general.  I think wolves overall, but I am not a cat hater.

I Used To Play WolfQuest All The Time, So Its A DEFINITE Feral For Me. All I Need Is A Preset With The Pattern From A Certain Car.... (See Siggy) And It'll Be My Dream. LOL.

Gotta say I prefer the canine model over the feline, the feline looks sort of goofy to me unless altered properly haha.
Although I like the variety of choices for the felines more, there's more to play with so I'll probably end up with more felines - probably not lions though.

Well I am a previous WQ player, however my fursona is a cat, so I'll probably have one or two felines, but a wolf for my wolfy character. This is probably the only game where I can create a 3D model of my 'sona.  ::) ;)

 The Canine models aren't that bad. Infact, I think the staff did a great job on them. :3  Since my Fursona is a wolf, I'm making a wolf. x3 If you can't decide between them, make a leopard, a husky, a hyena, you don't have to make a lion or wolf, you can make any sort of feline/canine! :3  My votes on wolf, though. I really don't like felines, although I'll probably end up making a Leopard character, the only species I'll use ingame is a wolf or something based off of the Canine mesh. I mean, we're most likely gonna see more felines running around than canines.  So yeah, I'm going to go with wolf  for this. <3

I've found myself making more giant lions than giant dogs. *points to Akuma* Giant dogs just aren't the same so I'm probably just going to be using just Lions.

I do prefer felines, and I do like lions a whole lot, but it seems most of my characters a wolves. But my fursona is liger if that counts as anything XP

Lol, I dont even have lion or wolf characters. I have a cheetah, a fox, two canines I don't know what they are, and two glow animals (blue and green feline).

I'm more of a cat person,but for some reason i like canines better. and like thunderheart, i dont have any lions only snow leopards and stuff xD i do have some wolves.

Wolves are my favorite animal, but in the game I enjoy playing as my Lion more then my wolf. Not sure why.

I prefer Felines just by an centemeter, since they're less felines, and you can basiclly have a lot of fun with them, and if your a wolf you can't really tell the genders apart from they're name. x3

Wolf would normally come first. But surprisingly, only up to three of all of my characters end up as a wolf.

The rest are feline...x.o.
