Praise / Happy Birthday Bawfle!~
« on: June 10, 2021, 09:26:59 am »
Dear Bawfle,

On this day 23 years ago, you came into the world, and have been through a lot since.
Your biggest mistake was befriending me on this game almost a decade ago, as I'm still here annoying you continously.

No but seriously, you've come so far since I've known you when we were tiny teens, and I couldn't be more proud of who you've become, and how strong you've been with what you've had to face so far.

I will always cherish the memories of us spending majority of our younger days playing FH together, Skyping constantly, and getting ourselves into lots of teenage drama.
Now, we're both barely-functioning adults with jobs, a car, some type of univeristy/college qualification, a small social circle, children in the form of pets, and a ridiculous load of responsiblities.

But I think the most impressive part is the fact that after everything and how long it's been since then, we still have each other.

I could not be more thankful to have you in my life.

My best friend, my sister from another country, my Gemini twin, and my lesbian lover in another life, I wish the biggest and happiest birthday to you.

Have a terrific day, and please, message me and tell me all about your day when it's over.
If you don't I will just message you anyway.

Lots of love, some stranger on the internet whom you've never actually met in person yet.
XOXO.

~TEC~ The Kreptic Circle ~BL~ / ~ TKC Ranks ~
« on: June 09, 2021, 10:21:09 am »

Welcome to our rank thread, where you'll find all information on each rank of the group.

Ranks are titled first by their more commonly known names, and then their Kreptic names.
Ranks are only earned through RP.
So if you want a rank, take part in our RP sessions!
Everyone starts as rankless and works their way up!

All information on the group's current rank holders will be provided in the group's Discord server.

Elder ETEC  EBL
-Shadow Walker-

The most respected of the clan.
These ones have the utmost wisdom and knowledge of the Kreptis, and have served their time for their clan.
These consist of retired Shadow Weaver's (Alphas) that let the future of the clan carry on in a member of their choosing.
To hear a story from one of these veterans is a great honor, and not to be taken lightly, for all information from these members is past history and important for others to pass down and keep the Kreptis tradition and culture alive.

Alpha ATEC   ABL
-Shadow Weaver-
Male Kreptwyver  Female Kreptwyra
2 Per Clan

The rulers and law of the clan.
Their words are final; any questioning will be dealt with accordingly.
If a member objects or challenges the authority of the Shadow Weavers, they will be seen as an automatic threat, and will be punished harshly with death or exile.
The two may both be males, or may both be females.
Shadow Weavers do not have to be mates unless desired.
The Shadow Weavers have the final say of accepting new members into the clan and rank all worthy recruits.
A Kreptwyver may have more than one mate in a clan, but will often bond strongly to one in particular and that bond is everlasting.
Shadow Weavers have ultimate breeding rights, and any newborns from any other rank will have to pass judgement before them to be accepted into the group.
Omegas are not allowed to breed.

Beta BTEC  BBL
-Shadow Bane-
Male Beta Kreptbenn  Female Beta Kreptbae
2 Per Clan

Shadow Banes act as the second in command of the clan.
The same rules as the Shadow Weavers apply to the Shadow Banes.
Any disrespect towards them will be punished to the appropriate degree.
They make sure that the clan is in proper condition and take charge whenever the Shadow Weavers are not present.
They are also given the role of exile or termination.
Shadow Banes are next in line to take the position of Shadow Weaver after the higher rank’s passing.
Exceptions may be made if the circumstances prove complicated.
Two are allowed.

Delta DTEC   DBL
-Shadow Stalker-
Male Delta Skelken  Female Delta Skelti
2 Per Clan

The Shadow Stalkers are third in command with lesser authority than Shadow Weavers and Shadow Banes.
They are to be the next in line should something happen to both Shadow Banes.
They aid Shadow Banes in the group's activities and step in when needed.
Two are allowed.

Mediator MTEC   MBL
-Eyes of A'kra-
5 Per Clan

They are the ever watching peace keepers of the clan.
They fall below in rank to the Shadow Weavers, Shadow Banes, and Shadow Stalkers.
Regulating and maintaining order along side the higher ups.
They report any mishap or rule breaker without falter.
The Eyes of A'kra was once a title to be feared.
An angry and relentless emperor once branded his most trusted subjects the duty of being his eyes and ears of his kingdom, going to great lengths to up hold the laws.
The convicted were thrown into dungeons where they were tortured and brain washed or even killed over the most trivial rules.
A maximum of five are to be appointed in the group.

Chieftain xTEC   xBL
-Arcbane-
4 Per Clan

Arcbane act as the advisers to the higher ranks and commander to the lower ranks.
They specifically make sure that each rank is highly organized and trained properly.
There can be up to four Chieftains who keep track of all recruits ready to receive their rank.
Arcbanes give the recruits their rank test, and once proven worthy, the recruit will then be given a rank from a Shadow Weaver.
Each rank test depends on the rank the recruit is trying to receive, and can vary from leading a feeding party, to sparring with a higher rank.

Royal Defender ixTEC   ixBL
-Black Vanquishers-
5 Per Clan

The Black Vanquishers are the high and royal guardians.
They are effectively trained and disciplined to protect the higher ranks of any dangers and will gladly give up their life to do so.
A selective few of up to five Kreptis will be appointed this crucial rank.
If deemed worthy can advance to Chieftain.

Black Alternator Relic rTEC    rBL
-Shadow Seers-
2 Per clan

Relics are Kreptis with abilities who have highly mastered their skills and fine tuned them to perfection.
These are usually Witches that have advanced in skill and strength.
A Relic's skills are used in times of great battle, when special magics are needed.
They help mentor and aid the Witches.
If deemed worthy can advance to Chieftain.

Lead Sentinels wTEC   wBL
-Kreptic Warlord  Kreptic Warmistress-
1 Male and 1 Female per Clan

Head of the Kreptis assigned to fight and protect the clan.
They have all battle and protection responsibilities, including making sure the Sentry are well trained and prepared, leading battles and spars, and making sure new Sentry recruits are capable enough to earn their rank from a Shadow Weaver and pass the Arcbane's test. If deemed worthy can be ranked up to a Royal Defender.

Witch irTEC    irBL
-Shadow Whisperer Necrodite-
3 Per clan

Kreptis who have rare and unusually skillful abilities.
Usually in healing or magics of a helpful nature, they move alongside the Healers after battle.
A Healer can advance to a Necrodite with the proper training, while a Witch proven to be skilled in their abilities may advance to Relic.

Lead Hunter/Huntress sTEC   sBL
-Skeptilis-
1 Male and 1 Female per clan

The Skeptilis is in charge of forming "Feeding" parties.
A Lead Huntress and Hunters all have a uniquely large core cavity, in which they can store excess soul energy to bring back to the group.
The Lead Huntress is an expert in tracking mortals and using advanced feeding techniques to remain unnoticed while feeding.
A Skeptilis will have a vast knowledge of different prey and its behavior and will lead feeding parties for the pack.
If deemed worthy can be ranked up to a Royal Defender.

Assassin kTEC   kBL
-Krou-
6 per Clan

This Kreptis is highly tuned with the vast knowledge of evasion and infiltration.
A Krou will creep into an enemy’s perimeter effortlessly and with great subtlety and carry out the assassination or other order given by a Shadow Weaver. They are skilled in Kreptis stealth and master their shadowy nature, becoming invisible to even most other Kreptis. If deemed Worthy can become a Lead Sentinel.

Hunter isTEC   isBL
-Scroungles-
8 per clan

Kreptis trained and designed to hunt alongside the Lead Huntress.
They follow her lead and learn the proper time length to feed on a living creature and how to go unnoticed.
Scroungles also learn how to react when spotted by a living being.
These Kreptis are trained to carry the excess soul energy properly and feed their members appropriately.
If worthy can be ranked up to Lead Hunter or Huntress

Healer iirTEC    iirBL
-Black Alternator Skroheilin-
5 per Clan

Healers tend to the weakened and "wounded" Kreptis.
They have basic abilities in healing and understand Kreptis anatomy to where they can effectively mend one during or after a battle or spar.
They are the first at the end of a battle scene, but never out on the field.
Healers who advance in their skills may become Necrodites.

Sentinel iwTEC    iwBL
-Kreptic Sentry-
8 per clan

The fearless warriors under the command of the Kreptic Warlord and Mistress.
They shall take orders given without thought or question.
Sometimes, a handful of sentries will be given the main objective to protect the Healers.
They are known as Kreptic Paladins.
Kreptic Sentries can either advance to a Scroungle or a Krou if deemed worthy

Scout vTEC    vBL
-Vaungers-
8 per Clan

The Vaungers are the clan’s eyes and ears, acting as a cartographer and mapping out good feeding sites as well as the whereabouts of Bloodling territory.
They have acute senses when it comes to danger, and have a tendency to always be on alert.
Vaungers can either advance to a Scroungle or a Krou if deemed worthy.

Caretaker mTEC    mBL  (not to be confused with MTEC/MBL)
Myvren
5 per Clan

Myvren help take care and watch over the Newborns and Younglings who are not yet old enough.
They are ferociously protective guardians to the young ones and temporary mentors.
Myvren are entrusted to stay watch at the Kreptis home site whenever the rest of the clan is out on duty.
Myvren are usually made up of younger females who are too young to gain a rank, or older females that have grown much too old to keep up with the rest.
If earned can be Ranked up to a Healer (Black Alternator Skroheilin)

Omega oTEC   oBL
-Krawl-

The lowest of the ranks and underprivileged.
They do not breed. They are the last to feed, and usually have been punished for an extreme offense and were lucky enough to not be killed by a Shadow Weaver.
The Krawl do whatever is asked of them and are only able to rank up again through months of duties.
Once Forgiven by the Shadow weaver, and all duties are complete, they are able to rank up to Sentinels

Bone Collectors ocTEC   ocBL
-Carriers-

Bone collectors are of the lowest tier, Even lower than the omegas in The Punishment Tier. They carry a rancid smell and are the weakest out of all the Krepti in the clan. They collect the remains from hunting trips, Carrying the flesh and bones of the victims that had their soul taken from them. Along with the omegas they are the last to feed, at times aren't fed at all. If forgiven by the Shadow Weaver, they may move up to the Scout rank.

Newborn TEC   BL
-Spawn-

The offspring of the group.
A newborn is naturally born without markings until they are 6 months of age.
At that time they become recruits and are taken in to earn a rank.
Newborns grow and age as a normal Kreptis would, and hold a blank TEC or BL tag until a rank is earned.

Youngling TEC   BL

Younglings are Kreptis that died very young, such as an infant or child.
They do not grow in size or shape like newborns, and are limited to the Kreptic form they were born into.
While size and strength may not change, Younglings do mentally age, and their minds develop normally like any newborn.
Younglings maintain a blank TEC or BL tag until a rank is earned.
Or IF a rank is earned.
Some Younglings are so restricted and weakened by their forms that they don't have the ability to rank up, and keep a blank TEC tag.

Greetings, and welcome to TKC's rules and requirements thread.

Here you will find what is expected of you as a member in our group, and what is required for you to become a member.

As a starting note, all members are required to register on the site, whether you are a TEC, or a Bloodling.
This helps keep track of member activity, and important news/updates are found on the site.

Bloodlings are not a separate group.
They are Kreptis, and while not part of The Ebon Circle pack, follow all rules on this site, just like TEC.
Both are expected to listen and respect the Higher Ups, on the site, and in the game.
If a Higher Up tells you to knock it off, you better knock it off.
Even if they are part of the opposite pack.
The Bloodlings and TEC WILL have a leader and ranks of their own, but Rp ranks do not mean you have authority outside of Rp, unless you are a Higher Up.
This means all members must be familiar with the Higher Ups.
Know the names and users of each, and make sure to give them the proper respect.

A member of the group must have a character with pitch black color codes.
0,0,0 Black on all bars for pelt and underfur.
Markings are optional and may be any color, but must be kept under 40,40,40 (manes, tail tips, eyes, above and below eyes, and noses are an exception).
Only higher ranking members (RP wise) can bear brightly colored markings.
Choice of species and form is completely optional.
Newborns below a month old have no markings.
Younglings have very dim coloration throughout their lives.
Wings are to be no more than 40,40,40 on each bar of the slider.
Items are optional.

Presets are optional but must follow the guidelines above.
They are to be all black with dim markings, but design and coding is optional.

All members must have their group tag, TEC or BL implemented in their name.
If you have not chosen a clan yet, simply put TKC for the time being.
Look like you're a part of the group.
No "M" for male or "F" for female or any other additions are allowed in your tag.
Your RP rank tag must be worn at all times, and it is highly suggested your rank be placed in your Bio.
Higher ranks will be the only members to have all capitalized tags.
The only exception is for Newborns and Younglings, who simply keep the tag TEC or BL until they are ranked.

You must show respect to your fellow members as well as your Higher Ups.
There is a hierarchy of authority for the Kreptis, and the Higher Ups have that authority.
This means you must respect anyone higher up than you.
If you have a problem with what you’re being told to do, consult an Admin.
Inappropriate behavior towards one another will not be tolerated.
This is not a fight or drama club; you will be removed.
We're a family.

Everyone is expected to have some degree of maturity in this group.
We all can be immature at times, especially OOC, but please, don't be so severe about it.
Members will not be allowed to run about, and harass or act vulgar towards members or other players and taint the name of the clan.
Trolling will result in punishment.
Trolling will be defined as: "Purposefully offending or harassing someone else, even when they tell you or ask you to stop."
Nothing vulgar or disrespectful is to be said in Local.
Please keep it to a minimum in OOC Group.
Remember that there are minors on FH, and in our RP, and not everyone wants to hear it.
There is no need to go too far.
If you have to talk about such things, create a Party Chat or Whisper.

Everyone is REQUIRED to read the FH Rules: Feral Heart Game Rules As FH Rules applies to our group.

Mild language is only acceptable either in Group chat, or in RP.
Be mindful that younger players also play Feral Heart.
As mentioned above, keep vulgar terms to yourself.

Please refrain from bringing any personal problems you may be dealing with onto others.
It's fine if you'd like to have someone to talk about it with you, just keep it at a minimal level.
We are here for you, not for a soap opera.
The Higher Ups are here to help any member who needs it.
Everyone is welcome to talk to a Higher Up about any sort of problem.
Bringing personal or past drama back into group conversations is not tolerated.
Also feel free to whisper us or talk to us on Discord if you need help.

The Kreptis RP holds the right to not accept an individual into the group without giving a reason, and the right to remove members who do not follow the rules.

NOTE: BREAKING ANY OF THE FERAL HEART GAME RULES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND DOING SO WILL RESULT IN A REMOVAL FROM THE GROUP

All rules above also apply towards the Discord chat!
In addition please keep all Political talk and Religious talk out of both FH and our Discord chat!

Please follow these rules. Any behavior breaking these rules will result in a warning(s), or worse.

Note: Rules are susceptible to change at any time if necessary.
This also means warnings and removals/bans can change on each individual circumstance.
If a Higher Up feels that a member should be banned, and has shown proof of why, they may do so.

~TEC~ The Kreptic Circle ~BL~ / ~ Kreptis Lore & Information ~
« on: June 09, 2021, 09:22:16 am »

Welcome to the thread which includes the information and history behind the Kreptis specie.
Everything about the Kreptis can be found in this thread.

The Kreptis species is a shadowy entity that is trapped in a realm between the world of the living and the world of the dead.
Because of this type of parallel "limbo", a Kreptis can interact easily with living beings if they choose to do so.
A Kreptis is formed when an individual suffers an intense traumatic death or has lived a hard life full of regrets.
It is believed that the species exists to wander the in-between until they come to terms with their regrets and passing.

When a Kreptis is created, or born, they take on a form their souls are connected with.
Whether this means they had a bond to this particular form in their past life or if their soul itself seems to be drawn to, one can only guess.
When death overtakes the soul and a Kreptis is born, the newly formed shadows do not initially realize they have died.
They retain their memories of their past life, and can journey for years upon years before learning they are dead.
Those Kreptis who have yet to understand their demise are referred to as Newlings.

Learning and understanding the concept that they are deceased and lost wandering a realm of limbo can be very difficult for a Kreptis to handle.
A select few refuse the knowledge and fail the transition, turning into hostile, rogue Kreptis called Bloodlings.
Their denial sends them into a maddened insanity, and any other Kreptis or being they meet becomes an enemy.
Bloodlings can be quite dangerous, as their madness only allows for destruction and death.

A Kreptis is a being entirely of shadow, and is never usually solid.
They have a slight ability to solidify, but without any sort of density.
Kreptis have a very thin surface, but applying pressure would cause it to give quickly and phase right through.
These beings usually take on the forms of animals or mythical creatures in shape, but the form is featureless, shadowy smoke billowing off their silhouettes.

Inside the Kreptis's shadow-frame lies a core.
The very soul, essence, and energy of the Kreptis is in this core.
It too is relatively formless, basically just spherical, but encased and protected by the Kreptis's shadow-form.
This core glows and emanates from their black shapes in various markings, the color depending on the type of soul it harbors.
The intensity of the core and the size of the Kreptis depends on the strength and power of its essence, and of course its darkness.

They are able to change, stretch and grow their forms to a certain extent, but this depends on the capacity and strength of the essence in their core.
Weaker Kreptis cannot shift or stretch for long without exhausting themselves.

Certain Kreptis are born into their world with abilities, or limited powers.
It is believed that the past life of the Kreptis held a connection to these abilities.
Such as if a Healer or Nurse had a talent with healing, a Kreptis might be formed with limited abilities to heal.
An example in that nature would be something like the healer Kreptis having the power to use their tendrils to mend wounds, or even transfer mortal soul/energy essence they had consumed to others.
Other abilities would be similar in simplicity.
One Kreptis might be more in-tune to the living world, able to interact a little more with mortals than a typical Kreptis.
Another might have a stronger, warrior's core, and possibly larger fangs or claws if they were some sort of knight/fighter in their past life.

Keep in mind that while the Kreptis wake with these abilities, they are quite limited and any abilities require the use of core essence, their basic life force.
So things like controlling another's mind completely or having total weather control abilities would be too much for a Kreptis core to handle.
These powers are subtle and connected to Kreptis life energy, and should be noted as such.

A Kreptis battle would be like watching masses of shadows clashing, thrashing into each other, their forms crashing and mingling.
You could picture two shadow wolves fighting each other and actually connecting with one another as if they were solid.
Much of it depends on the one with a stronger essence.
Imagine the shadow wolf biting the other one's leg.
You can picture some resistance given, but it will eventually "snap" off or vanish only to re-materialize.
But the more a Kreptis materializes, the more the opposing one is eating away at its opponent's core's source.
They'll slowly dwindle and fade.
Very similar to exhausting it to death, depleting it of all its essence until it is gone.

While Kreptis have the ability to "fight" one another, a living being cannot exactly touch a Kreptis, and physical contact with one is extremely limited.
Hurting a Kreptis would be impossible, unless light was involved.

Light is a shadow's worst enemy, and a Kreptis is no exception.
All Kreptis avoid daylight.
The light eats away at the Kreptis's shadowy form, and leaves the core unprotected and eventually it fizzles out as soon as a matter of minutes.

All Kreptis possess shadow tendrils in which to feed.
They act as sapping appendages, drawing out and absorbing the soul energy/essence of living things to keep their own essences strong and healthy.
All Kreptis must feed to maintain their forms, any who do not feed slowly lose their essences; cores fading and fizzing out until eventually they die.

A Kreptis can typically make themselves seen to living beings as they wish, including during feeding.
Typically though they are only seen as dense shadows in the corner or dark shapes that flit from your vision.
While possible to feed enough on living beings to kill them, it would take multiple Kreptis to do so.
And if done, the victim turns into a Kreptis when they pass, falling prey to a scarily traumatic death.
Many of the species consider this unjust and wrong, as the life of a Kreptis stuck to wander the middle realm is an ugly fate.
Many don't wish the same destiny for other living beings.

Kreptis are physically capable of feeding on each other.
But this practice is incredibly taboo.
This is because the result of a Kreptis "stealing" another Kreptis's essence may cause an unwanted or even dangerous response.
If the two essences don't match and mesh well, it could possibly cancel out both essences and kill them both.
There's also a possibility one essence might match, but one is stronger and the lesser dies.
Legend says that there are some essences that mesh and bind so well that they forcefully merge into one, whole new Kreptis.

~TEC~ The Kreptic Circle ~BL~ / ~ Kreptis Territories ~
« on: June 09, 2021, 08:27:14 am »

The Shadow Realms, territory of the Kreptis, has several areas. These currently listed are the original Kreptis territories.

Black Tower Woods

Kreptis like to populate dark and murky places where they can lurk and often prey on the nocturnal animals that reside with.
The Black Tower Woods is one of their desired homes.
A large forest, housing thousands of tall, thick black trees that seem to reach the heavens.
Luscious leaves that block out the sunlight, and prickly branches that reach out near the bottom giving the forest a rather gloomy and haunting appearance.
It’s rejection of the sun’s rays allows the surface to flourish in gloomy vegetation and critters of the night.

The Witch’s Cove

Down by an emerald green sea that scratches and pummels harshly at the jagged slopes of earth and deadly cliffs, sits a lonely looking cave called The Witch’s Cove.
An ancient cave belonging to an old woman accused of witchcraft.
Many have seen the old shroud tossing herbs and dismembered animal parts into the ocean and spewing out incoherent words.
Believing to be summoning some sort of evil demon from the depths of the sea, she was hunted down and killed.
Leaving many of her tomes and belongings of sorcery still hidden away deep in the cave.

Catacomb Keep

The burial grounds of a large lineage of royalty named Mithregonis.
This monstrosity of a crypt was specifically designed to keep the grave robbers and any other intruders from obtaining the many riches in gold and wealth it holds so dearly.
With no source of light and an infestation of vile and rabid rats, along with a vast majority of mazes and trap doors makes the Catacomb Keep a sure death trap.
Those who foolishly wonder in the depths of this place will find themselves hopelessly and fatally lost, soon to be swarmed and eaten by its little protectors.

Leaving / Farewell
« on: September 09, 2020, 10:56:21 am »
Hello all.

I hate to be typing this, but I believe it's time I take my leave from FH for good. I think it's best for me to move on from here, and go forward on to other things. Moving on to the next phase of my life is important, and I feel I need to do this to get there. The past 8 years have been a rollercoaster, but I will always keep those who I've met and grown to know well close to my heart. I am also appreciative of the opportunity I was given to work alongside the staff for the short period of time I was on the team for. It's hard to say goodbye, but I will remember the good times and hold onto those memories. I am very thankful to have been apart of this community and met such kind and caring people. <3

With that said, thank you, and please, take care everyone.

Sincerely, Sig.~

The installation process (to those needing it) is laid out here: Mac Setup by Razmirz

If you need any assistance with it, or any sort of Mac issues, please consult myself.

Have fun.~
