Saving Unfinished Posts?
« on: March 24, 2017, 05:19:22 am »
I'm not sure if this has been said already or implemented in the site, but I was thinking it would be helpful that you could be able to save a draft of an unfinished post. I think this would be helpful for members who are making tutorials are just generally VERY long and organized posts.

What do you guys think? ^^

(Here's some examples I had in mind)

I absolutely love everything about this idea. It would be marvelous if this could be implemented. That way if you have an internet hiccup or anything like that, you could have it saved and not use progress on larger posts.

I just love everything that was mentioned. Saving drafts/unsaved postswould definitely relieve some stress rather than remembering.

This would be unbelievably helpful. What I've done as of now is write out long posts in Google Docs, then copy-paste them here. If there was a way to save drafts to the site, it would save a lot of people both time and effort.

What a magnificent idea! I could use this with a lot of m'posts. I hope this is approved by the staff. Good thinking, fluff!

Tmw you planned a ten minute nap but instead took a whole year.

Ooh, I really like this idea! If I'm writing long posts, I tend to procrastinate a ton and end up leaving the thread up in another tab for ages. It'd be super helpful if we had a little drafts section.

An auto-save/restoration thing would be really helpful too if possible, I know I've accidentally clicked out of many posts I was writing... even just saving the last post you were writing and having an option to restore it next time you post would be really handy.

But great idea! I haven't seen this mentioned too often. Hopefully the staff will at least consider it.

Ooooh, I love this idea! I've had many times where I wrote out a long post and my computer / internet pooped out, and I lost a great deal of work and time. Hopefully this will be considered! c:
