Hellu. Pretty self explanatory here. Thought a roleplay discussion might be nice, haven't seen one in quite some time! What's your favorite type of roleplay and why? What roleplays do you join most?
My roleplay preference in the past was usually mapless, literate, semi-realistic and very family orientated. I don't roleplay much in groups anymore though.

I'd say my favorites would be the following:
- Demon canines or other canine-like species
- Okami-based
- Harry Potter(not much anymore)
- SSBB(Super Smash Bros)
- Regular canine life, realistic, mapped, active, ongoing
- Creepypasta
- Ginga
- Random funny ones with strangers! ouo
Hehehe, not much that I don't like. Cx As long as they're semi-literate or above.

I like just about anything semi-literate or above. Fandom roleplays are favorites of mine, as everyone knows what they're doing (usually). The supernatural or realistic ones are lots of fun too.

I don't roleplay that much, to be honest. In fact, the only group roleplay I'm in is TEC. But, I like:
~Stray cat/dog roleplay
~Wolf packs
~Entity/spirits (to a degree)
~Sci-fi (lab creations, cyborgs, etc. To a degree)
~Chicken army roleplays :3

Interesting. Lab creations are pretty fun, too. So are dog roleplays. Fandom RP's are alright. Although, I don't associate with them much.
I did in my early FeralHeart days, though. Such as TLK RP in Bonfire. Lel'.

I'm pretty simple.
- Prehistoric Era
- Sengoku Era
- That is if I'm in my Kai Ken character, Jin-Roh
- Literate
- Naturalistic characters
- Feline
- I have attempted to roleplay as a dog[Kai Ken breed] *Aimed towards realism as possible* And had poor luck finding suitable roleplays. Apparently being all black and named 'shadow' you get more recognition, xD But honestly I just like feline animals more.
- I find my best inspiration to roleplay is to just... Wing it. For some odd reason I ever really liked taking time to sit and construct a storyline cause you are expecting it, particularly if its just two rouge players and not within a group. Where's at Random it feels in a context of what can happen in the natural world in real time when meeting someone in some aspects. I enjoy the suspense of unpredictability.

I would say I would do terrible if I did Sci-fic , since also because I don't like it. Then again I usually love to role play human and Fandom. :3

Well when it comes to FH roleplay, I prefer wolves and dogs, preferably semi realistic. Even though I'm not that good at speaking English, I try to keep it literate. On FH, the RP I join must be mapped, because I don't like roleplaying in the public maps. It's not really my thing.
When it's not FH roleplay, well...
Outside FH, all the roleplay I do is human roleplay. I enjoy RPing humans more than anything, because I'm more familiar with what terms to use, how they act around other people, etc.
Of course I love animal roleplay too, which is the reason I joined FH.

I like semi realistic most :) I like to have a good balance between realism and fantasy basically.

I tend to prefer realistic to semi realistic though I am a huge fan of creativity and RP's that are entirely out of the ordinary with users who make their own species, stories etc I very much enjoy those.

I honestly, prefer realistic.
Although I'm always up for a roleplay where we just collide together with things that don't make sense.
Like Ju-On: The Grudge anda Zombie Dog for example.
Though, I am a sucker for fantasy.

Hmm, favorite types of roleplay...: Custom species, multiple clanned WC rps, hyena cackles, and fandom roleplays. But, I usually roll with what looks cool!

My favorite roleplays are...
Warriors, Fandom-based (Once Upon A Time/ Percy Jackson, etc...), and that's all I know.
Semi-lit is good enough for me. =)

As much as I enjoy literate RP, I find it VERY hard to overcome writers block if not given an hour or so to reply
which is not appropriate time for an active RP obviously
I find that 4 lines is completely fine, I'm not into reading two paragraphs of RP.
oooh, I do love me some fantasy RP, like created species and all. But I love semi-realistic and realistic... its a hard battle!. But I must go with semi-realistic

I like to stick to animals, not necessary wolves and lions but just ones that the models lend themselves to. Human roleplays are kind of weird for FH if you ask me, I do roleplay them but just not here.
As for length, I like to keep it to one or two boxes, any more and it gets stupid because everyone is waiting for you to finish. Although I have to say I love "all levels" roleplays where you just do what you want and eveyone just goes with it.

ANY ROLEPLAY. As long as it's not like...powerplayers or wolfspeak or super/overly violent. I've done a lot of different types of rps from animals, shapeshifters, and furries, to demons, Zelda, and humans. Fantasy is always fun because of the creativity but realisim can make a person feel more connected. I still have a list of rp ideas I want to do and some I would like to redo. Maybe even find someone on here to try out some rps with, who knows!?

Well, I prefer casual roleplays. I don't mind following a story when it's interesting though, especially if there's enough freedom to roam around. RPs with very strict rules and storylines are suffocating.

I enjoy having a lot of freedom in roleplays, although they still require a general plot line of some sort. I prefer literate to advanced literate roleplaying. "Wolfspeak" is extremely off-putting.
I enjoy adventure, action, and at times science-fiction. Not into romance or drama at all.
As far as animal roleplays go, I want to say I prefer semi-realistic and realistic animal roleplays, although well-written fantasy is also fine. I enjoy roleplaying as a variety of species. I'm not really into fandom-based RP, Warrior Cats being the exception.
For human roleplays, I really enjoy historical-fiction (either realistic or with light sci-fi/horror/fantasy aspects that don't take away from the nature of the time period and setting)- anything relating to 20th century eastern European history especially. Good human roleplays are rare (on the internet as a whole, really), however, so for that reason I prefer animal RP.

I use role-plays to give my OCs character development and a good backstory. My favorite types are more serious; plotted one's with some unrealistic elements such as demons; angels; talking dogs; etc. Alongside that, Warrior cats are my second favorite. And my third favorite being playing as a supernatural creature.

Any roleplay that doesn't require great writing skills. But not powerplay either. Just something fun. :)

I absolutely love any type of rp, whether it be feral, fantasy, or human. I've had my fair share of rp experience over the years with canines, felines, supernatural, human rps, and others. I'm quite literate, so I tend to lean towards more semi-literate-literate rps, as well as semi-real-realistic. I'm not too picky though! As long as everyone has fun and is enjoying themselves, that's what matters most to me.

My favorite roleplays to participate in were semi-realistic; I've dabbled a little in literate roleplays, and while they can be very immersive, they can sometimes take a while to set up and can be very demanding time-wise on the individuals involved. So, if you only have a certain amount of time to play online but still want to keep the plot moving in a progressive way that is still immersive, semi-lit is an excellent way to go.
I have a soft spot for roleplays with a very small number of people involved, as well. One-on-one roleplay can be very fun if you have a plot that can be pursued by only two people; if you have an ongoing plot that requires a lot of people to be present and only one other person is online, some very interesting subplots can be made while the two people online try to buy time without furthering the main plot. (Kind of like filler episode.) A lot of my favorite roleplay memories were made from side plots when other people weren't around.

I enjoy roleplays that have that are semi-realistic, Lit but also creative. Lately though, I've been drawn to fantasy roleplays where I can let my creativity fly without limits.
